Second, ta’allub, connecting with new members by explaining that fellow Muslims are brothers, the purpose of being brothers is so that one another has the right to remind one another, save one another and pray for one another. Third, targhib, adding motivation and support to taklim members or giving encouragement in carrying out Allah’s command and all things that Allah has forbidden. Fourth, tasyki, invite members slowly.

Abstract

The diversity of society gives rise to the diversity of beliefs and religions held by the community. However, unfortunately the progress of people's lives is not followed by the progress of inter-religious relations which cannot be separated from the protracted conflict. Followers of a religion often doubt the purpose of realizing inter-religious harmony initiated by a religion, even though there are two major world religions that both have religious documents that contain the concept of inter-religious life, namely Nostra Aetate (Catholic) and Medina Charter (Islam). This study was structured to answer academic problems, including (1) knowing the concept of inter-religious life in the Medina Charter, (2) knowing the concept of inter-religious life in Nostra Aetate, and (3) comparing the concept of inter-religious life in the two documents. This research, which is classified as comparative religious research and uses a deductive analysis knife. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that the concept of inter-religious life in the Medina Charter is understood that every individual has the right to freedom of religion and emphasis on inter-religious unity. The concept of inter-religious life in Nostra Aetate contains several points of meaning. As for after the two documents were compared, it was found that the difference lies in the content of the text and the views of other people. The parallel side lies in the goal of the concept of inter-religious life. Further research in historical and linguistic studies will be able to further complement this study.

Abstract

This article seeks to criticize Khaled Abou el Fadl's negotiating hermeneutics. Abou el Fadl's hermeneutics implicitly follows the Gadamerian, which sees texts subjectively, because of which all resulting interpretations are not final but relative. Thus, Khaled Abou el Fadl's hermeneutics cannot be categorized as an emancipatory critical science. When compared and analyzed using Jurgen Habermas's discourse theory, Abou El-Fadl's hermeneutics has remained within the theoretical discourse model. The legal investigation process is performed by legal experts in monologue and not open dialogue with other interpretation communities. With this, legal decisions are made by a single subject and not Communicated with mutual understanding with the subjects other. Likewise, Abou El-Fadl states that the highest morality in determining law is discourse morality, not merely truth or precision. Using deliberative hermeneutics, the conclusion drawn from this article is that Abou el Fadl's ideas on gender issues with their negotiating hermeneutics have not been able to create an inclusive, egalitarian, and domination-free discourse in realizing a legal decision. This research is a type of qualitative research library (library research). The method used in this research is descriptive-analytical-critical. Descriptive is used to describe Khaled's understanding. Analytics is used to analyze the understanding of Khaled. Moreover, it is critical to criticize what has been described previously

Abstract

Another big problem worrying the Indonesian nation at this time is not only the Covid-19 pandemic. The reason is, when this epidemic hit, there were still acts of radicalism and terrorism. Unfortunately, this understanding that is vulnerable to infecting the younger generation is increasingly rampant in the midst of a pandemic. An individual becomes radically influenced by reading and experience. This enthusiasm was triggered by a wrong understanding of the verses of jihad. Radical behavior arises because of interpreting the meaning of the Qur'an and hadith which tend to be textual. Content that smells of religion but is wrapped in intolerance and radicalism is increasingly widespread. Meanwhile, millennials who are actively using social media are not literate yet. In this study, we used library research and a thematic method. We delve into and associate the ayat of the Qur’an to resolve the problem. It shows that the reading material and experience gained determines a person's understanding to be radical or moderate. This is in line with the opinion of experts that understanding the verses of the Qur'an to be more in-depth is understood by means of a contextualization approach. This approach does not only study from the aspect of language but from the socio-cultural aspect so that the verses of the Qur'an can be understood as a whole, not partially. Which is strengthening digital literacy through schools and colleges, socializing for the young generation, and holding training and discussion about it in schools and colleges
