Abstract

This paper will discuss one Muslim philosopher who has a strong identity as a Muslim philosopher. He is Zakaria Ar-Razi, in this paper, we will discuss Ar-Razi's biography, his works, and his thoughts. One of Ar-Razi's roles in the development of Islamic philosophy is to give a special style to Islamic philosophy regarding the concept of prophecy which has never been discussed in previous philosophies. This research is library research. The research method contains theories that are relevant to research problems. Ar-Razi is a Muslim scientist and philosopher who has made major contributions to the world of philosophy. Ar-Razi with his naturalistic rational view is also a strong identity about the existence of Islamic philosophy. His ideas on the concept of humans and humanity both physically and psychologically as well as his belief in reason in humans as individuals or groups of social beings led Ar-Razi to the naturalism discourse space. The strong identity conveyed by Ar-Razi is not to reject theological or metaphysical foundations regarding the existence of God, because Ar-Razi himself is still a Muslim who believes in the power of Allah SWT. However, this identity is more to Ar-Razi's efforts to reach the truth using a rationalist and philosophical approach rather than using a theological approach.

Abstract

This article aims to explain the pessimistic philosophy of Arthur Schopenhauer—a 19th century German philosopher. The article is presented in a qualitative form using descriptive, interpretive and analytical methods. Schopenhaeur's philosophy of pessimism talks about world life as a place that gives birth to suffering. Suffering arises from the existence of desires. Will is a form of deficiency and the presence of want is suffering. As long as humans still have desires in their lives, humans will not be able to feel happiness. Human nature itself is a will, so achieving true happiness is something that is impossible for humans. However, man can rid himself of suffering by engaging in aesthetic contemplation and leading an ascetic life.

Abstract

Indonesia is a multicultural country with diverse ethnicities, languages and religions, which requires an educational approach that includes multiculturalism and inclusiveness. By promoting inclusiveness and multiculturalism, Indonesia can build a more cohesive society that values diversity. Developing an inclusive education measurement tool is essential to address the above challenges, yet a diversity-based education measurement tool has not been developed. Inclusive education also includes various dimensions: Optimal contact conditions intergroup contact theory, climate of multiculturalism, climate of color blindness, climate of critical consciousness, and climate of polyculturalism. Fifty-two items were administered to 150 teachers in Indonesia. The methods used in this research are quantitative and literature study. The sample in this study was obtained using non-probability sampling method with accidental sampling technique. The results of this study obtained 34 out of 52 items that became the final items with the Likert scaling model which was complemented by Structural Equation Model (SEM) analysis with SmartPLS 4. A total of 34 question items were declared valid because the item had a loading factor value 0.5 and 18 were declared invalid. After all items have a loading factor value ≤ 0.5, the 34 items of the Indonesian diversity-based inclusive education scale can be fully utilized

Abstract

This problem begins with the fading of understanding and application of Pancasila values as a way of life in society, nation and state, especially the first principle in Indonesia. This has led to the emergence of various separatist movements that want to separate themselves from the Republic of Indonesia and groups that do not want to respect the red and white flag, sing the Indonesia Raya song and so on. HAMKA said that it was from the first precept of “Belief in One God” that everything began, from that precept as a vein of Pancasila, according to him if the Indonesian people really understood the meaning of this first precept, the next precepts would be well preserved and Bhineka Tunggal Ika was created. This article uses qualitative research methods and this type of research is literature. The primary data of this research is obtained through reading HAMKA's works while secondary data is obtained from books and journals related to Pancasila and Unity in Diversity. This article uses document study as the basis for data collection. This article finds HAMKA's wise attitude in maintaining the integrity of Bhineka Tunggal Ika, by giving a moderate response to Bung Karno's speech so as not to cause hatred and division and the proposal to hold halal bi halal Eid al Fitri and Christmas are equalized. This article has implications for strengthening the motto of Unity in Diversity in Indonesia

Thus, they are identified as fulfilling the criteria of being moderate students. Their role in mainstreaming religious moderation has clear objectives, strategies, and distinctive action patterns. Their potential and role can be maximized as part of the demographic bonus to counteract the flow of radicalism and extremism in their circles

Abstract

This article focuses on the main concepts put forward by Ismail Raji' al-Faruqi related to the Islamization and integration of science. The method used in this research is a descriptive-analytical method with a contextualization approach. The primary data used in this research are the works of Ismail Raji' al-Faruqi. While the secondary data in this study are books, journal articles, and other websites that discuss the thoughts of Ismail Raji 'al-Faruqi. The results showed that for al-Faruqi, the Islamization of science is not only limited to adding Islamic elements to modern science but also involves a process of epistemological and methodological transformation. This is done to ensure that the science produced is under Islamic values, principles, and teachings. One important aspect in the Islamization of science according to al-Faruqi is the emphasis on a holistic perspective. Al-Faruqi explains that Islam offers a comprehensive view of reality, which includes spiritual, intellectual, and practical dimensions. The integration of science is an integral part of the Islamic vision of knowledge, which emphasizes the unity between science, religion, and morality. In addition, the integration of science in an Islamic perspective also includes the understanding that all knowledge comes from Allah SWT. Therefore, there is no separation between secular and religious knowledge in Islam. By emphasizing the importance of integrating Islamic principles with modern science, where tawhid is the philosophical foundation, al-Faruqi has paved the way for the development of relevant and progressive Islamic thought in the current era.
