Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan analisis framing dan mengacu pada pradigma konstruksi sosial media massa pada video program Mata Najwa, episode Menagih Wakil Rakyat, tahun 2020. Dalam hasil penelitian ini, ditemukan bahwa program Mata Najwa menampilkan urgensitas RUU PKS sebagai RUU yang sangat penting untuk segera disahkan. Karena itulah Najwa seringkali mengajukan beberapa pertanyaan atau pernyataan yang bersifat memojokkan DPR sebagai yang berwenang dalam pembuatan undang-undang. Mata najwa cenderung menempatkan keberpihakannya kepada rakyat daripada para DPR yang hadir sebagai perwakilan dari DPR secara keseluruhan. Najwa cenderung melakukan pendesakan kepada DPR untuk segera mengesahkan RUU PKS. Ideologi yang cenderung ditampilakan oleh Najwa Shihab sebagai presenter Mata Najwa adalah feminisme.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe the management of Instagram media for employee engagement X Group in increasing employee engagement. To achieve these objectives, the authors use descriptive and qualitative research methods through a case study approach. The results showed that various features of X Group's Instagram employee engagement have been used to support interactions between companies and employees and among employees. The management of Instagram media has succeeded in making employees feel proud, motivated, and excited at work, even though situations where employees feel at home and will not be separated from their work are still not visible.

Abstract

Digital technology has mapped out revolutionary changes in journalism and fundamentally changed the nature and function of media in the public. The explosion of social media and the development of smartphones are causing technology to be the only way to receive factual information quickly. This change gave rise to new players in the domain of digitization of information, which has significantly created uncertain conditions for the future of journalism, especially local journalism. In this context, it is important to adopt the innovations of the social media industry. Based on the analysis, social media provides an opportunity to change the situation by allowing journalists to do three different things in producing news, namely storytelling, multimedia and transmedia. Each category has a different format that local journalism can use in order to survive in digital scenarios without losing its local feel.

Abstract

 Social media has created a new pattern of communication and social participation, which can be seen in the involvement of users in a social media forum or platform. Instagram social media has spawned powerful influencers in the dissemination of information as well as education via digital messaging. Influence is judged to have an impact on its followers by uploading photos, videos, and some other instagram facilities. At the beginning of the covid-19 BNPB (call upon a number of massive influence influence in Indonesia to downsize people. Research uses a quantitative approach with survey methods. The resulting data indicates that public awareness of health protocols at the time of the pandemic covid-19 was ata high level and was influenced by the soft influence in the instsalt has a postictal impact on public awareness of health protocols during the period of the pandemic covid-19.

Abstract

Through online media, people can find information wherever they are and whenever they need it. Photojournalism can record something quickly, and objectively, and contain news and information. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of journalistic photography on society on online media so that there is an evaluation for journalistic photographers. This research method uses quantitative methods. Online media users need journalistic photography that is accurate, specific, concise, and complete in accordance with what is required by the community. Then photojournalism must fulfill the character of photojournalism so that the value of a photo will reflect itself, according to the characteristics and types of photojournalism itself.

Abstract

This research examines the tendency of citizen journalism news discourse through Liputan6.com website. The cornerstone of this study is the analysis of critical discourse with the Teun A. Van Dijk approach model. This research aims to see the tendency of citizen journalism news discourse entitled “Mensos Juliari Batubara Tersangka Korupsi Bansos COVID-19, Warganet Tagih Janji Hukum Mati ke KPK" dated December 20, 2020 by describing the structure of the text and social context of the discourse. The research method used is to use a descriptive qualitative approach with research data in the form of discourse in citizen6 website which is a subkanal of Liputan6.com. The results found that the news contained three-dimensional text and analysis of its social context according to Teun A. van Dijk. The dimensions of the macro structure show that the topic of news discusses the punishments that are deserved by the corruptors of Bansos funds in this case by former Social Minister Juliari Batubara. The superstructure dimension shows news being rejuvenated in the full news text from start to finish to the one included in the situation section. The dimensions of microstructure represent semantic, stylistic and rhetorical aspects. While the social context that can be observed in the news implies that the news writer focused on asking for consistency of the KPK chairman to the statement of death penalty discourse for perpetrators of corruption of COVID-19 Bansos funds.

Abstract

The preparation of news published by Islamic sites related to the problems of the Islamic world, democracy and various aspects of life is by using framing or framing. Examples of middle east conflict cases, from some online media can be read through headlines and news leads made. Then the difference in framing the news can be read through the selection of words, paragraphs, propositions, and main sentences.

Abstract

The study aims to find out how Tempo.co frame news of Yodi Prabowo's death by using Robert Entman's Framing analysis model. A total of 84 news stories were collected, eight news samples were taken for analysis. Based on the results of the analysis of framing model Robert Entman the author concluded that Tempo.co tend to raise the case of the death of the Metro TV editor as a matter of romance, namely Tempo.co tend to tell about the police information about the testimony of the victim's lover and also a third person in their relationship. Tempo.co also highlighted the facts of the investigation, witness examination, autopsy results, and other evidence that narrowed to the conclusion of Yodi Prabowo's death (Define Problem). Tempo.co seeks to display something as is happening on the ground and highlight facts about police information such as autopsy results and the involvement of others in the case of Yodi Prabowo's death.

Abstract

The concept of terrorism according to Youval Noah Harari in his book 21 Lessons says that to reduce acts of terrorism is to not commit hysteria in the mass media. Therefore, the author's question appears to further examine whether there is a mutually beneficial relationship between terrorism and the mass media. How should the mass media, government, and society behave in the face of an act of terrorism? This article uses the library study method. Based on the results of the study found that there is indeed a symbiosis between terrorism and mass media. Acts of terrorism in the mass media have news value and certainly affect the ratings of programs and media. However, it is explained that the media must still hold the principle of social responsibility that provides the best information for the audience or society. On the other hand, the government should not panic in responding to acts of terrorism. The government must establish a strategy so that all terrorism-related information can be properly controlled and not cause fear in the community.

Abstract

This study discusses the function of the website of the Communication Studies Program, Faculty of Da'wah and Communication at UIN Alauddin Makassar as a medium in supporting the tri potency of students in Communication Science, Faculty of Da'wah and Communication, UIN Alauddin Makassar. The purpose of the research is to find out the function of the website of the Department of Communication Science, Faculty of Da'wah and Communication, Alauddin University Makassar in supporting student tri potency, as well as to find out the efforts made to support tri potency and attract students' interest in using the website. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research using data collection methods of observation, interviews, and documentation. There are three stages of data processing and analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the function of the website of the Communication Studies Study Program, Faculty of Da'wah and Communication, apart from being a medium of information through the news presented, can also function as a medium in supporting the tri potency possessed through the work produced. News Column, Student Talk, Inspiration, and Community are filled by Communication Science students who become reports through the results of the selection made by the website manager.
