Abstract

The immigration of Prophet Muhammad, otherwise known as the Hijrah, was not about running away from being killed, nor was it about fear, or a retreat from bidding the lawful or forbidding the unlawful. The Hijrah was done in obedience to what Allah had ordered.  During the Hajj season, when the people gathered, the Prophet peace be upon him used to call them to Islam and say to them: “say no one is God except Allah and then you will succeed”.The Prophet was very patient with what the blasphemers had done to him. His companions tolerated many types of torture including whipping, hitting, imprisonment, burning, and execution. Yet when they gained the support and aid from Allah, it was as if they had turned into a solid rock that could not be scratched. Their pious heartbeats and their silent supplications shook the hearts and thrones of the disbelievers.Keyword: Immigration, Prophet Muhammad, Hijrah

Abstract

Although Arabic and English comes from a different clumps, Arabic is included in the Semitic language family and still related to the Hebrew language, while English is included in Germanic or better known as Anglo Saxons, but there are also points of similarity between Arabic and English. The comparison between Arabic and English is more famous in the world and interested to discuss in order to facilitate Language Learning. In this article the author discusses the similarities and differences between Arabic and English in terms of pattern or structure of sentence formation

Abstract

مما لا شك فيه أن أول ما يجب على من يدخل في الإسلام هو تعلم اللغة العربية لإقامة دينه وصحة عبادته. فأقبل الناس أفواجاً على تعلم اللغة العربية لغة القرآن الكريم، ولولا القرآن الكريم لم يكن للغة العربية هذا الانتشار وهذه الشهرة.‏ ولم يزل المسلمون يقبلون عليه ويتلونه حق تلاوته آناء الليل وأطراف النهار، حتى صاروا بفضل القرآن خير أمة أخرجت للناس، ينطقون لغة واحدة عربهم وعجمهم، وكان بذلك جامعاً للعرب والمسلمين على لغة قريش وما يقاربها، وليس بينهم هذا التفاوت والاختلاف في اللهجات كما كان قبل نزول القرآن، وبذلك دخلوا في مرحلة تاريخية فريدة هي توحد لغتهم وألسنتهم فيما بين بعضهم البعض بل وعلى مر العصور وكر الدهور.

Abstract

AbstractThis paper aims to explain ta’rib which is a term from Arabic linguistics. In addition, this paper will also explain how the implications of learning about learning Arabic for non-Arabic learners. Ta'rib is the absorption of new words and terms from non-Arabic languages to Arabic by changing their pronunciation to follow patterns and rules in Arabic. Ta'rib can be done in two ways, first forming a new term to replace foreign terms, the two using foreign languages with Arabic patterns that are in accordance with the stipulated conditions. The implication ta’rib of learning Arabic for learners from outside the Arab world includes 1) giving mufradatfusha before the mufradat ‘amiyyah; 2) emphasize students to use Arabic fusha; 3) emphasize students to look for a translation in the dictionary before absorbing it directly; 4) introducing examples of foreign vocabulary that do not have equivalents in Arabic; 5) explain the provisions that apply to the owner ta’rib before Arabic language learning takes place; 6) emphasizes on students to pay attention to the rules of writing Latin letters that do not have equivalents in Arabic.

Abstract

                                                  AbstractDictionaries, a book that includes the largest number of vocabulary combined with explaining and interpreting their meaning, to be material arranged a special arrangement: either the letters of the alphabet, or on the subject. It is called a dictionary because the nouns remove the confusion and clarify the vagueness. The complete of dictionary, which includes every word in accompanied by explaining its mean and its derivation and the method of its pronunciation and evidence showing its language positions used.Lexicology is the part of linguistics that interest with the study of words, its nature and its mean, the elements of words, the relations between words (semantic relationships), the sets of words and the study of each lexicon of a language. The linguists divided the stages of language collection into several stages, each stage different from one another, everything will be discussed in this article.Keyword: Significance, Lexicon, Stages

Abstract

The scrutiny of the carried out researches in Islamic studies shows they focus on theoretical approach rather than practical interact with the community. Although such studies are valuable, but nobody can benefit of them apart of a closed specialized elite.This paper aims at raising awareness of the need to link Islamic studies research to the community. Its objective is to change both the methodology and topics of Islamic research. In order to achieve such a change, we have to draw plans and set smart goals taking into account the community needs. We, therefore, have to find the effective means and train the academic researchers who are able to interact with their communities

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to find out: the presentation of the book Amtsilatipart 5 by Haj Tawfiq al-Hakim and the presentation the methodevaluation of it. This research is a type of library research. The results of this study are: (1) In terms of presentation of material, the material chosen is in accordance with the learning objectives. In terms of the level of ability of students, this book is suitable to be taught to elementary level students. As for the ease of learning, there are significant problems, namely the example from the Qur'an will be difficult for non-Arabic students. Besides the material, this book uses two examples of gradations, namely collective gradations and sequential gradations. In presenting materials, this book uses three procedures: priority procedures, drawing procedures, and context procedures. As for the addition of the presentation, it was considered not good. For material review, this book contains several exercises for material repetition.(2) In terms of evaluation, amtsilati 5 uses a type of formative structural evaluation. Various forms of evaluation are used, such as form training, word composing exercises, word completing exercises, application exercises, repetition training and meaning giving exercises.

Abstract

Kontekstual dapat diartikan sebagai makna kata atau leksem yangberada pada suatu uraian atau kalimat yang dapat mengandung atau menambah kejelasan makna, yang dipengaruh oleh situasi, tempat, waktu, lingkungan penggunaan kata tersebut. Artiny, munculnya makna Kontekstual bisa disebabkan oleh situasi, tempat, waktu, dan lingkungan. Makna Konseptual sama artinya dengan makna denotatif. Makna Denotatif adalah makna asli atau sebenarnya yang dimiliki sebuah kata, sehingga makna denotatif sama dengan makna leksikal.Makna leksikal adalah makna leksem atau kata yang diartikan ketika tidak dipengaruhi konteks atau saat leksem tersebut berdiri sendiri makna konseptual adalah makna yang sebenarnya, asli, polos, lugas, tidak tergantung pada konteks, masih merujuk pada acuan dasar sebuah kata. Makna konseptual secara gampang dijelaskan sebagai makna yang ada didalam kamus. Makna konseptual juga berarti makna denotatif, makna referensial, dan makna leksikal

AbstractThis research revolves around the role of linguistic psychology in the teaching of the Arabic language The Arabic language is the key to Islamic culture, and the Muslim individual will not be able to establish a true Islamic culture unless the Arab is able to shape his consciousness and his motives and behaviors.  These studies are mainly to serve Islam and to understand the Holy Quran and the Hadith and the psychological in human. In this research, many studies were conducted on the role of language psychology in teaching Arabic to Indonesian students in general and to students of the State Institute for Islamic Studies, Bengkulu in particular. Abstract

Teaching materials in the teaching of Arabic in middle school One of them is the translation of some short and long sentence, as in the conversations and topics of choice that fit the curriculum. It is also taught to students of simple Arabic wholesale. However, from the information obtained by the researcher from the Arabic teacher he says that the students could not master this skill, this situation can be seen from their duties in translating the Arabic language into Indonesian language still suffer from limitations in the syntax of the sentences and the choice of words in the particular expression. The difficulty of the text can be related to the translator's level of ability. There are two things that are interrelated: the text is easy because the translator's level of ability is very good, or the text is difficult because the translator's level of ability is still very low. This background is what drives the researcher to look into the problem of translation that is happening to students at the second Inter-Governmental Secondary School Bengkulu. The researcher uses a method of qualitative descriptive method. Research subordinates are students in the second semester of the second Islamic secondary school Bengkulu. The method of collecting data used by the researcher is interview, observation and documentation. Data analysis used is data collection, data identification, data presentation and data mining. The results of the research obtained by the researcher are from the data collected by the researcher, whether from the interviews, observations and documentation obtained by the researcher, the problems faced by students in translating the Arabic texts into the Indonesian language of students in the second semester in the second intermediate Islamic Islamic State School Bengkulu are two main problems, namely the linguistic problem and the non-linguistic problem
