Abstract

Fanatic is a term used to refer to a belief or a view of something positive or negative, which view does not have a theoretical backing or a foundation of reality, but is profoundly embraced so that it is difficult to straighten or change. The root problem of this discussion is the fanatical attitude of religious people, and the low level of understanding of religion, because they only see an event from a narrow perspective without seeing the consequences of what is caused. The weak self-confidence of adherents of religion to the teachings of religion that have been adopted since he was in a family environment, so easily influenced by the factors of fanaticism. As a believer in an individual religion must have a firm belief in the religion he has adopted and has been deemed correct according to the Act of government. The aim of the author to raise this phenomenon is to describe the mindset of an individual who is fanaticism-oriented, would this attitude undermine social interaction, or even fanaticism is a phenomenon that is mushrooming in the future.

Abstract

This article wants to explore the role played by a youth movement community at the East Medan mosque in strengthening the aqidah of the Islamic community in Rante Besi village, Gunung Sitember sub-district, Dairi district. The area, which is quite far from the city of Sidikalang, is a remote area that takes quite a long time to travel in damaged and steep road conditions. Rante Besi Village is one of the villages located in Gunung Sitember District, Dairi Regency, a village that has a variety of tribes, languages and religions that it adheres to has a Muslim population that is considered a minority, this is one of the reasons for the lack of practice of the Islamic creed and the many worship practices that are not in accordance with the Shari'a and deviations from the Islamic Aqeedah. There is one hamlet in Rente Besi Village which is expected to be a strong potential and hope for the development of Islamic Aqeedah in the midst of society because of the majority of the hamlet population. This study discusses how the role of the youth movement community of the East Medan mosque in strengthening the Aqidah of the Islamic community as a youth movement that has awareness of the development of Islam and social care which is then expected to be a magnet for generating enthusiasm for Islamic youth to use their youth for things that are good for them. positive and useful for many people.

Abstract

This article is to identify, analyze and conduct a study of the Death Ceremony in the Karo people's customs in terms of the Islamic Aqeedah, therefore this research is a qualitative descriptive research. Qualitative descriptive method is a research method based on the philosophy of postpositivism used to look at the natural condition of objects (as opposed to experiments) where the researcher is the key instrument of data collection techniques carried out by trigulation (combined), data analysis is inductive/qualitative, and qualitative research results emphasize meaning rather than generalization. The time used in this study was in September 2020, the research location was in Gunung Village, Kec. Tiga Binanga, Kab. Karo, to get definite data and information about "Death Ceremonies in the Karo people's customs in terms of Islamic Aqeedah" (Gunung Village, Tiga Binanga District, Karo Regency).

Abstract

This article aims to explore the history and development of Islam in the Lima Laras Kingdom which was carried out by Datuk Mad Yudha. The results of this study have found several things about Datuk Mad Yudha in terms of the development of Islam in his time. Datuk is a leader for the Malay community in the Lima Laras Kingdom. He had great attention to the development of Islam in his time. The development of Islam in Lima Laras used to be very fast, because in the past Datuk Mad Yudha had a Mufti named H. Arfah, he was often an advisor in the field of religion. And as a leader he was formerly a king who adhered to the Naqsabandiyah Terekat, he succeeded in building Islamic civilization at that time. And in developing Islam Datuk Mad Yudha also uses several media, namely the first Ulama whose job is to solve problems that exist in the kingdom and among the community in terms of religion. both mosques as a very important medium for worship. The three cannons as tools and media to gather the public. The four Tarekat are media that function to develop Islam in the Five Laras Kingdom. The fifth trades and the last is OK as media in the area to help him in leading.

Abstract

This study talks about the religious mental development of the TNI at Soewondo Airfield in Medan, Polonia. To create members who are weighty or classy, both themselves and their religion are formed religious mental formation structures. With this bintal activity in order to further enhance the personality that is better in terms of attitude and behavior. The creation of coaching is because many soldiers do not control their emotions in carrying out their duties because Soldiers are trained in very harsh and disciplined conditions. With this study, the authors conducted a qualitative research approach, namely research conducted directly on the subject under study, to obtain data on the problem. Soewondo Air Base's religious mental development program is a means of forming a soldier's identity so that he has a healthy mentality and upholds Islamic teachings so that he can become a role model for soldiers and society. The results showed that the form of mental religious development at the Hanudnas III boarding school in Medan that studying is the most compulsory thing that is done by every human being, because studying is a form of worship as the Prophet Muhammad SAW said. This method is carried out through routine recitation activities, yasin, tahlil, warning Islamic holidays and so on. Supporting factors in the effort to develop mental religion are the religious spirit of the TNI members themselves, the harmony of life between religious communities around the headquarters and the disciplined military environment, while the inhibiting factor is the differences in character or personality between TNI members.

Abstract

Now humans are creatures filled with various visible temptations. Thus, humans must have something that guides their lives, namely aqidah. The application of aqidah in today's youth is very important as it is expected to be a balance and control for the behavior of mankind, now it seems that it has not been able to play a role as desired. For this reason, the role of the Moslem Youth Creative Community is very much needed in instilling aqidah values in today's youth so that they will be able to become good and quality national shoots.Departing from these problems, the author has the initiative to conduct research on the role of the Moslem Youth Creative Community towards strengthening the aqidah of youth in Batang Kuis Pekan Village. The problem of this research is how the role of the Moslem Youth Creative Community in strengthening the youth aqidah includes instilling the values of aqidah, worship and morals. This study uses a field research method that uses observation data collection methods, interviews involving the Moslem Youth Creative Community, the community, preachers and several youth members of the village mosque, and documentation. While the method of data analysis using descriptive methods, and phenomenological methods.The descriptive method aims to describe the situation, and is used to determine the interests and aspirations of the Moslem Youth Creative community towards youth strengthening in Batang Kuis Pekan Village. While the phenomenological method is an approach that studies the symptoms of the Moslem Youth Creative community found from experience and reality in the field.

Abstract

Islamic theology is an important part of the intellectual heritage left by classical Muslim thinkers. Directly or indirectly, Islamic theology has become the spirit for all pulses of Islamic thought, whether political, social, or economic. Muhammadiyah certainly needs to be recognized and understood from its various aspects that are inherent in the identity of this Islamic movement. Muhammadiyah is an Islamic movement that was founded in Yogyakarta on November 18, 1912 Miladiyah or 8 Dzulhijjah 1330 Hijriyah with the founder Kiai Haji Ahmad Dahlan. Muhammadiyah is considered as the largest Islamic organization in Indonesia. With its age that has passed a century, it has become a very large Islamic organization in Indonesia. Muhammadiyah is even known as the largest modern Islamic organization not only in Indonesia but throughout the world. The sources of data in this study include primary data and secondary data. Primary data sources are data directly collected from the books of the Tarjih Judgment Association, while secondary sources are from books, scientific journals, magazines, documents and papers related to this research topic as supporting data for primary data sources, and according to the type This research is library research, so the research data collected, both primary data and secondary data obtained from books, scientific journals, magazines, documents and other papers are read and analyzed for their contents. The data of the findings are disclosed descriptively and objectively and described through the inductive method. The theological thought of Muhammadiyah in the Tarjih Judgment Association is that Muhammadiyah uses the word ahlul haq wassunnah (Ahli Sunnah/Asy'ariyah). According to Muhammadiyah, Allah has a great name, Allah also has a qadim dzatiyyah character. Muhammadiyah chooses the opinion which says that Allah's name is taufiqi. As the Sunnah Experts argue that the nature of Allah is also taufiqi. Both can only be known through the sam'i argument as stated in the holy book or the sunnah of the Prophet. Muhammadiyah also does not recognize tri-tawhid (uluhiyyah, rububiyyah, and asthma' wa sifat). According to the Muhammadiyah understanding as stated in the HPT and also the Sunnah of the Asy'ariyah sect, that there is only one monotheism. Uluhiyah, essence and nature are an inseparable unit. Separating the three can invalidate monotheism.

Abstract

Humans are weak creatures who are powerless to face natural disasters, which have an impact on all aspects of life. Volunteers on this issue, present for humanity and natural disasters. Volunteers are the most needed fighters at the right time and on the front lines. The Humanitarian Foundation for Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) is an organization whose members are called volunteers. ACT is spread across various regions in Indonesia, one of its branches is in Medan, namely Aksi Cepat Tanggap, North Sumatra Branch (ACT Sumut). The purpose of this study is to find out what is meant by volunteering from an Islamic perspective and to find out how the role of Aksi Cepat Tanggap’s North Sumatra Branch is as a humanitarian movement (volunteers). The method used is field research with a qualitative research approach. Sources of data were obtained from volunteers in ACT North Sumatra. The findings of the study found that Islam appeals to work and do good deeds outside the scope of profit and loss, namely voluntary work or volunteering who only expects the pleasure of Allah SWT. Volunteers are in line with what Islam teaches, for example in terms of helping. In conclusion, a volunteer in an Islamic perspective is a person or group of people who aim to help people who need humanitarian assistance voluntarily to include people who are in the way of Allah. ACT North Sumatra plays a role as a liaison between the beneficiary (donors and benefactors) to parties they cannot reach directly to provide humanitarian assistance to people in need.

Abstract

This research is entitled Kuda Lumping Art from the Perspective of Islamic Aqeedah in Pematang Ganjang Village, Sei Rampah District, Serdang Bedagai Regency, because this Kuda Lumping art has deviated greatly from the purpose for which it was created. This Kuda Lumping art scene displays the attraction of trance, immunity, and magical powers or eating glass so that it can endanger the health of the player and for others. This can affect one's understanding of one's aqidah because the area of aqidah includes believing in the existence of the supernatural dimension. The hallmark of the magical element in this attraction is carrying out rituals using Islamic prayers and offerings to summon spirits to other than Allah which is a major sin. The people of Pematang Ganjang village still carry out Islamic law and still believe in magic. In essence, the art of Kuda Lumping in general has been attached and integrated into the community. It is a habit that has been passed down from one generation to the next. The methodology used in this research is through field research (Field Research) with a qualitative approach, data collection techniques are processed from direct observations by looking at village community activities, field interviews with only a few informants and documentation. The results of the study in Pematang Ganjang Village which focused on the art of Kuda Lumping in terms of the perspective of Islamic aqidah that 70% supported the existence of Kuda Lumping on the grounds of wanting to hold a harvest celebration event, on August 17 and more often found in weddings and circumcision as entertainment media. Every Muslim must have the correct aqidah and it is very important for players not to enter into the element of shirk if it is not fortified with a strong religion.
