Abstract

Language learning in most schools is still conventional, especially during kitabah learning. Teacher only uses the tarjamah method and provides objective training to students, so that student’s understanding is still abstract and passive in kitabah learning. Therefore, researchers apply writing literacy with an observation method that aims to improve student’s writing skills. The type of research that uses in this study is quantitative research with experimental classes to determine the causes and consequences of the application of writing literacy with the observation method. The research subjects were class VII the number of students there were 40 students and the research instruments used are: 1) Observations, 2) interviews, 3) documentation, and 4) tests. The results of this study indicate that the influence of writing literacy application with the observation method in improving student’s writing skills.

Abstract

The teaching process that still uses traditional methods has an impact to students. One of that impact is the obstructed of student’s ability to master speaking skills, whereas the main function of language learning is as a communication tool. Therefore, researchers want to provide one way to improve the ability to speak Arabic, namely by using the Boardroom application. By using this application, the process of teaching Arabic in the classroom will be more innovative and raises student’s corage in their Arabic speaking skills. This research was conducted on eight grade students of the Belang Islamic junior high school, Kancheng Madiun. This study uses quantitative methods. The data collection process will be carried out by interviews, questionares, tests and drawings. Whit this method of data collection, the researchers will get more validity and depth data in the field.

Abstract

With the existence of learning media, not only overcoming limitations possessed by teacher in teaching and learning process, but with the existence of learning media created direct interaction between teaching materials and students, that will facilitate students in learning. Therefore, researchers used the camtasia video media as one of the learning media for Arabic that will be developed by students of Sunan Ampel Surabaya State Islamic University in third semester. This study uses the Class Action Research method so that researchers get the maximum value from the media developed by students by using three times of practicum for media improvement. The purpose of this study is to develop technology-based Arabic language learning media, especially multimedia software that is already very familiar with students

Abstract

Arabic in Indonesia is not only the language of religion, inheritance and civilization but also the language of communication between Arabic instructors or between Arabic students. In addition, Arabic is also daily language used in boarding schools that are scattered throught the regions in Indonesia. Arabic always develops according to the times. So, all Arabic instructors must also improve their competence. Madrasah Al-Sun education institutions seemed to be a solution for all Arabic language teachers in Indonesia, because the Madrasah Al-Sun used a special strategy in its teaching, namely Uslub Al-Sun. By using Uslub Al-Sun, the instructor is able to learn more deeply about Islamic civilization and is able to master contemporary vocabulary due to active discussions conducted. This study uses qualitative methods so that researchers get more in-depth data in accordance with the facts in the foeld about Uslub Al-Sun that is used to improve the teaching competence of Arabic.

Abstract

The process of learning Arabic in MTS Negeri 1 Surabaya is still traditional. Especially in reading and writing skills. This causes students difficulty understanding the subject matter. The objectives of this study are: (1) To find out the reading and writing skills of Grade VIII students at MTs Negeri 1 Surabaya. (2) To find out the application of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition "model using simple comic methods to improve their reading and writing skills. (3) To find out the effectiveness of the" Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition "model with simple comic methods in improving their reading and writing skills The results of this study are: that the "Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition" model with a simple comic method is effective in improving reading skills with a t-count = 13.9 and writing skills with a t-count = 14.7. Hypothesis results using the T-test symbol indicate that t count > ttable means that the null hypothesis (Ho) is returned and the hypothesis (Ha) can be accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a product in the form of an Arabic-Indonesian dictionary for 8th grade MTs to support the use of textbooks. Equipped with fi'il madhi, fi'il mudhari ’, and mashdar information for verbs in the form of verbs and for nouns equipped with singular and plural forms. The research model used is the Research and Development model. Methods of data collection in the form of non-tests using research instruments in the form of validation sheets, assessment sheets, and teacher and student response sheets on small scale trials and large scale trials. The results of this study are (1) have successfully developed Arabic-Indonesian dictionary products for grade 8 MTs, (2) based on the assessment of experts consisting of material experts, media experts and Arabic language teachers, this dictionary has very good quality (SB) , (3) based on a small-scale trial the students 'response to the product being developed was agreed (S) and on the large-scale trial the students' response to the Arabic-Indonesian dictionary for grade 8 MTs was strongly agreed (SS).

Abstract

Grammatical category of tense is directly related to paradigm of verb. Wright declares that two categories of verb in Arabic namely mâdi and mudâri’ are identic to tense that expresses time of situation. This Research finds that Arabic, through its linguistics tool, can express time concept of human experience in the best manner. The linguistics tool can be categorized in four parts, that are: 1) grammatical categories, which expresses linguistics time through verbal inflection; 2) lexical grammatic, that has two types which are a) particle that has implication in temporal meaning of verb, and b) nawâsikh (auxiliaries ); 3) lexical elements; and 4) sentence context. This research does not only study about theory of linguistics time and proposes imaginative patterns as Tammâm did, or draws the source with data from Qur`an only as Bakrî did, or focus on concept of time expressing elements as Akrom and Habib did, or doesn't proof with enough data as Arsyad did, but this research also tries to study the problem with comprehensive view and give same attention to data source in fushâ al-turâts and fasîhah mu’âsirah. The elected data as corpus in this recearch are approached by general linguistics and qawâ’id nahwiyyah, and they are analized by theories of linguistic time, especially theories of temporality, aspect, modality, and actionality; and also analized by qawâ’id nahwiyyah, especially theories of semantic function of verba's form, temporal’s particles, nawâsikh, and utterance manner (khabariyyah:insyâ iyyah).
