Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar mahasiswa yang diajar dengan Pembelajaran berbantuan aplikasi GeoGebra dan Pembelajaran Konvensional pada materi integral di STMIK Pelita Nusantara Medan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas TI pada semester dua STMIK Pelita Nusantara Medan terdiri dari 4 kelas. Teknik Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini dilakukan secara random sampling dari 2 kelas yang ada, artinya setiap kelas mempunyai peluang yang sama untuk dijadikan sampel. Sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas TI-A1 dan TI-B1. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu, dimana dari dua kelas yang dipilih sebagai sampel yaitu kelas TI-A1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas TI-B1. sebagai kontrol. Dari hasil perhitungan skor rata-rata untuk kedua kelas diperoleh sebagai berikut: pada kelas eksperimen, pada hasil tes awal diperoleh  = 52,19, SD1 = 12,63 pada tes akhir diperoleh  = 80,16, SD1 = 6,66. Maka terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar menjadi 27,97. Pada kelas kontrol, pada hasil tes awal diperoleh   = 51,88, SD2 = 12,03 dan pada tes akhir diperoleh  = 69,53, SD2 = 10,34. Maka terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar menjadi 17,65. Dari perhitungan skor rata-rata kedua kelas terlihat jelas bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari pada kelas kontrol. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran berbantuan GeoGebra lebih tinggi dari hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan Pembelajaran Konvensional. Dari hasil analisis statistik dengan uji t yang telah dilakukan terhadap kedua kelas maka diperoleh hasil dengan taraf signifikan  α = 0,05 diperoleh thitung = 3,948. Selanjutnya thitung dikonsultasikan dengan ttabel  dengan dk = 62 diperoleh ttabel = 1,670 ternyata thitung ttabel hal ini berarti H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa dari hasil perhitungan tersebut dapat diketahui adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan Pembelajaran berbantuan Aplikasi GeoGebra dan pembelajaran Konvensional pada materi integral di STMIK Pelita Nusantara Medan Kata Kunci: GeoGebra, Hasil Belajar, Integral. Abstract. This study aims to determine the differences in learning outcomes of students taught with GeoGebra application-assisted learning and conventional learning on integral material at STMIK Pelita Nusantara Medan. The population in this study were all IT classes in the second semester of STMIK Pelita Nusantara Medan consisting of 4 classes. The sampling technique in this study was conducted by random sampling from 2 classes, meaning that each class has the same opportunity to be sampled. While the sample in this study consisted of two classes namely TI-A1 and TI-B1 classes. This type of research is quasi-experimental research, where of the two classes selected as samples, the TI-A1 class as the experimental class and the TI-B1 class. as a control. From the calculation of the average score for the two classes obtained as follows: in the experimental class, the initial test results obtained = 52.19, SD1 = 12.63 in the final test obtained = 80.16, SD1 = 6.66. Then an increase in learning outcomes to 27.97. In the control class, the initial test results obtained = 51.88, SD2 = 12.03 and the final test obtained = 69.53, SD2 = 10.34. Then an increase in learning outcomes to 17.65. From the calculation of the average scores of the two classes it is clear that an increase in learning outcomes in the experimental class is higher than in the control class. It can be concluded that GeoGebra-assisted learning is higher than the learning outcomes of students taught with Conventional Learning. From the results of statistical analysis with the t test that has been done on both classes, the results obtained with a significant level α = 0.05 obtained tcount = 3.948. Furthermore, tcount consulted with ttable with dk = 62 obtained ttable = 1,670 turns out tcount ttable this means that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted so it can be concluded that from the calculation results it can be seen that there are significant differences between student learning outcomes taught by GeoGebra Application Assisted Learning and conventional learning on integral material at STMIK Pelita Nusantara Medan Keywords: GeoGebra,, Learning outcomes, Integral

Abstract

One of the learning media in the network that is often used in addressing various learning problems during the Covid-19 pandemic is the use of google classroom media. The purpose of this study is to find out the effectiveness of google classroom media in discrete mathematics learning in terms of learning outcomes. The type of research conducted is quasi experiment research to see the consequences of a treatment by comparing the learning outcomes of two class groups (independent class) or two time groups with the same class (dependent class). The research design is applied using one group pretest-posttest design. The samples in this study were all the fourth semester class A students who took discrete mathematics courses at the S1 level of the Mathematics Education Study Program of the Faculty of Education, Timor University which consisted of 40 students. Sample data was processed with descriptive analysis and average difference test using paired sample t test and N-Gain Score. The research results showed that learning outcomes by using google classroom media is quite effective based the students’ test results. The students’ learning outcomes after learning by applying google classroom media were higher than students’ learning outcomes before learning by applying google classroom media.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe the erros experienced by students in solfing comparison questions and to determine the causal factors in completing the comparison material for studenst of SMA Stella Gratia Atambua. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. The subjects in this study were students of class X SMA Stella Gratia Atambua for the 2020/2021 school year. The data collection techniques used were tests and interviews. The instruments in this study was a test item in the form of a description with 3 numbers of questions and an interview guide. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the average error made by students in the type of reading error 33,33%, the comprehension error was the average error percentage of the error was 45%, the transformation error was with The average percentage of errors is 69%, the error in processing skills is 78%, and the encoding error in writing answers is the average percentase of errors is 80 %.

Abstract

Every student has different intelligence to be able to learn a basic mathematical concept. However, learning mathematics is not just doing calculations using formulas or using logic to conclude. However, other factors needed to achieve mathematics learning achievement, especially in online-based learning during the pandemic (COVID-19). Other factors that influence mathematics learning achievement include independence and discipline in learning mathematics online. This research is a descriptive correlational study using a survey. This research was conducted on class VII students of SMP Negeri 5 Pematangsiantar, amounting to 56 people. The instrument used was a questionnaire and documentation which was analyzed using the correlation test. The results showed that there was a correlational relationship between the three variables, where there was a correlation between learning independence and learning achievement, learning discipline with learning achievement, and learning independence with learning discipline.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the profile of students' mathematical concept understanding abilities. This research is descriptive research. The strategy used is descriptive qualitative. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 17 Sinkawang for the 2020/2021 academic year in class VII. The source of this research data is in the form of test results. The results of this study indicate that students' understanding of mathematical concepts with indicators restating a concept, the percentage obtained is 40% and falls into the low category. In the indicator of classifying objects according to the properties according to the concept, the percentage obtained is 33% and falls into the low category. The indicator presents the concept in various forms of mathematical representation, the percentage obtained is 57% and falls into the medium category. The results of this study indicate that the ability to understand the concept of Shiva is still low, it can be seen from the indicators used 2 of them are in the low category.

Abstract

This research is focused on discussing the SEIQRS epidemic model for the spread of the COVID-19 disease with a nonlinear incidence rate. From the result of analysis of the SEIQR model obtained two equilibrium point these are diseases free equilibrium points and endemic equilibrium point. Then, the analysis of the completion behavior is done by using eigenvalues and stability around equilibrium point, the obtained result of the diseases free equilibrium point has two stability traits are saddle point, and stable. The stability diseases free equilibrium will be stable when  R0  1, if R0 1 then the equilibrium point is not stable (saddle point) and conversely the positive endemic equilibrium point will be spiral stable. In numerical analysis, it is done by varying the parameter values and using the fourth order runge-kutta approach.

Abstract

The production scheduling problem is in the kind of flowshop with n jobs and m machines, to get the order of the schedule for allocating operations of the jobs to the available machines so as to get the minimum total time for completion of all job or commonly called makespan. This study uses an optimization technique approach with the PSO algorithm to get minimum makespan on the ordered flowhop scheduling problem. The performance of the scheduling algorithm presented is evaluated by testing on a benchmark data set of 240 variations in the combination number of jobs and machines. The minimum measure is obtained as a result of scheduling with PSO, whose process stops at a certain iteration when in the last 10 iterations there is no change in the value of a better makespan. The performance of the PSO algorithm is efficient at regular flow scheduling with the use of the most iterations of 19 iterations and the longest execution time of 28.42 seconds or less than half a minute, namely scheduling instances with the largest number of machines and jobs. In this research, only the analysis of the resulting minimal forward and the time of execution was carried out. Further research can be extended by not only measuring the minimum makespan, such as measuring total flowtime, total tardiness, and others.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in activity and student learning outcomes as well as what efforts need to be made to increase student activity and learning outcomes on the subject of Statistics through learning the inquiry method. The subjects in this study were 30 students of class IX-D MTsN 3 Aceh Barat. This study consisted of 2 cycles. After being given action through the inquiry method and using LAS in cycle I, it was found that the active student average was 20%. From the second cycle, it was found that the active student average was 76.66%. Based on the criteria for learning activities, this learning has achieved the target of increasing learning activities. Before giving action, students are given a preliminary test, and at the end of each cycle, a learning outcome test is given. The number of students who achieved mastery learning from the initial test was 13.33% with a class average of 44.0. The results of data analysis in the first cycle after learning through the inquiry method, many students who achieved learning completeness were 66.67% with a class average of 68.67. These results have increased at the end of cycle II with the same learning strategy, many students who achieved learning completeness were 90%, and the class average was 72.67. Based on the criteria of classical learning completeness, this learning has achieved the target of classical learning completeness.

Abstract

Fenomena fisik rangkaian listrik menghasilkan model matematika dan solusi untuk penyelesaiannya. Rangkaian listrik orde dua adalah penggunaan persamaan differensial orde dua sebagai model persamaan matematika pada rangkaian listrik. Rangkaian tersebut diantaranya rangkaian LC seri dan RLC seri. Penelitian ini memaparkan analisis dan penyelesaian dari model matematika pada rangkaian listrik LC seri dan RLC seri menggunakan persamaan diferensial orde dua dengan solusi homogen maupun tak homogen.
