This research aims to determine the effect of using comics media mathematics with the help of powerpoint on motivation and results of students’ mathematics learning on the subject of the matrix inverse order 2x2. This research was conducted in SMK Istiqlal Delitua. The population in this research are 486 students of class X. The sampling in this research using purposive sampling technique are 35 students of class X.AP-1. Based on the results of the test data requirements known that motivation data as well as results of the students’ mathematic learning are distributed normally. Motivation data an average score is 99,2 while the results of students’ mathematics learning data an average score is 19,6. Based on data analysis known that: (1) comics media mathematics are positive and significant impact on motivation to mathematic learn, where t test was obtained thitung = 3,1914 ˃ ttabel = 1,692. The index determination I = 12,5%, it means that comics media mathematics accounted 12,5% with motivation onof mathematic learning; (2) comics media mathematics are positive and significant with the results of students’ mathematics learning. Based on t test was obtained thitung = 6,19 ˃ ttabel = 1,692. The index determination I = 53,77%, it means that comics media mathematics accounted for 53,77% of the increase in the results of students’ mathematics learning.

Abstract The background of this research problem is that there are student who are not able to use the properties of exponents and are not able to solve the problems exponent while teaching method used is a meaningful method is the method of inquiry (discovery). The main issues discussed in this study is there any influence on the results of the use of inquiry method of learning mathematics students in the subject matter exponent in class X SMA Negeri 1 Batang Toru. This study aims to explain extent of the influence of the methods of inquiry the math learning outcomes of students in the subject matter exponent in class X SMA Negeri 1 Batang Toru. Calculation of the two variables obtained by the average value of the variable X (inquiry method) is 43.77 are "enough" while the variable Y (the results of students' mathematics learning in the subject matter exponent) ie 14.81 are "enough". Based on the calculations in mind that r calculated at 0.7932 then thitung 8.4406 and 2.0189 ttable turns thitung ttabel, then the hypothesis is accepted / approved, so it can be concluded that a significant difference between the use of methods of inquiry to the results of students' mathematics learning in the subject matter exponent in class X SMA Negeri 1 Batang Toru with the category of "strong". Abstract. This study is a quasi-experimental study. The objectives of this research are: (1) to analyze the difference of the result of the National Examination of Mathematics of the students based on the accreditation of the school, (2) to analyze the difference of the result of the National Exam Combined students based on the school accreditation, and (3) to analyze the difference of National Examination result based on the students ability. The results of this study indicate that there is no difference in the value of the National Examination of Mathematics based on accreditation. Where in this study, better accreditation does not guarantee better result of Mathematics National Exam result. On the contrary, in this study found the results of research that schools with lower accreditation have a better result of the National Examination of Mathematics. There is no difference in the value of the result of the Joint National Exam based on accreditation. Where in this study, better accreditation does not guarantee better results of the Joint National Examination results. On the contrary, in this study found the results of research that schools with lower accreditation have a better result of the Joint National Exam results. There is no difference in the results of the Joint National Exam based on the accreditation and the level of students' Mathematics abilities. Where school accreditation and Mathematics ability level does not cause significant difference in National Examination results. Keywords: National Exam and Accreditation. Abstrak. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuasi eksperimen. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) menganalisis perbedaan hasil Ujian Nasional Matematika siswa berdasarkan akreditasi sekolah, (2) Menganalisis perbedaan hasil Ujian Nasional Gabungan siswa berdasarkan akreditasi sekolah, dan (3) menganalisis perbedaan hasil Ujian Nasional berdasarkan kemampuan siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan nilai hasil Ujian Nasional Matematika berdasarkan akreditasi. Dimana dalam penelitian ini, akreditasi yang lebih baik tidak menjamin nilai hasil Ujian Nasional Matematika yang lebih baik. Malah sebaliknya, dalam penelitian ini ditemukan hasil penelitian bahwa sekolah dengan akreditasi yang lebih rendah memiliki nilai hasil Ujian Nasional Matematika yang lebih baik. Tidak terdapat perbedaan nilai hasil Ujian Nasional Gabungan berdasarkan akreditasi. Dimana dalam penelitian ini, akreditasi yang lebih baik tidak menjamin nilai hasil Ujian Nasional Gabungan yang lebih baik. Malah sebaliknya, dalam penelitian ini ditemukan hasil penelitian bahwa sekolah dengan akreditasi yang lebih rendah memiliki nilai hasil Ujian Nasional Gabungan yang lebih baik. Tidak terdapat perbedaan hasil Ujian Nasional Gabungan berdasarkan akreditasi dan tingkat kemampuan Matematika siswa. Dimana akreditasi sekolah dan tingkat kemampuan Matematika tidak menyebabkan perbedaan hasil Ujian Nasional yang signifikan. Kata Kunci: Ujian Nasional dan Akreditasi

Abstract. The objectives of this study were (1) to describe the use of mathematics learning media assisted by the Lectora Inspire software to improve the number sense ability of students, (2) to describe the increase in the ability of students' number sense through mathematics learning media assisted by Lectora Inspire software. The ability of the number sense studied is related to ordinary fractional material. Indicator of the number sense ability in question is understanding the basic meaning of fractions, understanding the effect of operations on fractions and using appropriate calculations. This study is a classroom action research, carried out at SD Swasta Kartika I-2 Medan in the academic year 2018/2019. Based on the results of the study showed that the mathematics learning media assisted by the Lectora Inspire software in the developed class V SD fraction material was declared feasible to use because it could affect the students' number sense ability. Based on the results of the final test in cycle I, there were 15 students (41.67%) achieving KKM scores, while the final test results in cycle II obtained 31 students (86.11%) achieved the KKM score. Based on the results of the end of cycle I and II tests obtained as many as 16 students (44.44%) experienced an increase in the number sense ability related to fraction material. The results of the observation sheet for teacher and student activities in the first and second cycles are in good category. Thus it can be stated that there is an increase in the number sense ability of students through mathematics learning media assisted by the Lectora Inspire software.Keywords: Number Sense, Mathematics Learning Media, Lectora Inspire Software

Abstract. This study aims to (1) improve students' mathematical communication skills through the STAD Type Cooperative Learning Model with the Reciprocal Teaching Approach in MTs Islamiyah Medan, (2) describe the process of implementing the STAD Type Cooperative Learning Model with the Reciprocal Teaching Approach at MTs Islamiyah Medan. This research is a class action research with 31 students of VII-2 MTs Islamiyah Medan subject. Instruments used include learning implementation observation sheets, mathematical communication observation sheets, and mathematical communication test questions. Implementation of the STAD Cooperative Learning Model with the Reciprocal Teaching Approach includes: (1) Initial Activities: the teacher conveys apperception and motivation regarding the material to be studied; (2) this activity: group work which includes Clarifying discussion, Predicting discussion Questioning discussion, Summarizing discussion, discussion of LKS questions, and group percentage; (3) Closing: the teacher together with students draw conclusions on the material that has been learned. After learning takes place there is an increase in students' mathematical communication skills. This can be seen from the results of observations of the implementation of learning an increase in the percentage from cycle I to cycle II amounted to 90.90% to 94.45% with a very good category of accuracy. Furthermore, the results of observations of students' mathematical abilities also increased from cycle I by 75.00% (good category) to 82.41% (good category) in the second cycle. This is in line with the results of a mathematical communication test that has increased after the second cycle, which is as many as 27 students or 64.52% of the number of students in class VII-2 has increased in total scores to good categories.Keywords: Mathematical Communication, Cooperative, STAD, Reciprocal Teaching.

Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa dengan menggunakan pembelajaran kontekstual di kelas XI SMK Bisnis dan Manajemen Apipsu Medan pada materi Persamaan dan Fungsi Kuadrat. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain kelompok kontrol pretes-postes. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMK Bisnis dan Manajemen Apipsu Medan dan sampelnya dipilih dengan menggunakan simple random sampling yaitu kelas XIAP-2 (kelas eksperimen) dan kelas XIAP-1 (kelas kontrol). Instrumen yang digunakan berupa soal tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis. Tes dilaksanakan dua kali yakni pada awal pembelajaran sebelum mendapat perlakuan (pretest) dan setelah mendapat perlakuan pada akhir pembelajaran (posttest). Instrumen tersebut dinyatakan telah memenuhi syarat validasi dan reliabel. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa dengan menggunakan pembelajaran Kontekstual secara signifikan. Peningkatan dilihat dari hasil analisis skor n-gain, diperoleh bahwa rata-rata n-gain kelas eksperimen berada dalam kategori sedang (0,687) dan rata-rata n-gain kelas kontrol berada dalam kategori sedang namun lebih rendah dari kelas eksperimen (0,617). Hasil diatas menandakan bahwa terjadi peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada kelas kontrol. Sehingga diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa pembelajaran kontekstual mampu meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Abstract. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of learning by using a realistic mathematical approach to the ability to understand students' mathematical concepts. This research is a quasi-experimental research. This research was conducted at MTs Islamiyah Medan. The research sample consisted of 50 students, 25 experimental class students, and 25 control class students obtained by cluster random sampling technique in class VII students. The results of the study explained that the average ability to understand mathematical concepts of students who use a realistic mathematical approach is higher than the average ability to understand mathematical concepts of students who use conventional learning. It can be seen from the average posttest score of students' mathematical problem-solving ability of 29.125 in the experimental class and 27.250 in the control class. However, the realistic mathematical approach model in the experimental class was significantly more successful in improving students' understanding of mathematical concept skills compared to conventional methods. Thus the learning of realistic mathematics influences the ability to understand the concepts of mathematical students (tcount = 3.91 ttable = 2.13). The conclusion of this study is that there is a positive influence on realistic mathematical approaches to students' mathematical concept understanding abilities.Keywords: Realistic Mathematics Approach, Understanding of Mathematical Concepts.

Kemampuan koneksi merupakan salah satu kemampuan matematis yang masih perlu mendapat perhatian guru dalam proses pembelajaran matematika dikelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan Model Pembelajaran Connecting-Organizing-Reflecting - Extending (CORE) dibandingkan siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran matematika secara konvensional. Pendekatan penelitian yaitu pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMK Bisnis dan Manajemen APIPSU Medan sedangkan sampel adalah siswa kelas X-1 (kelas eksperimen) dan siswa kelas X-2 (kelas kontrol). Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara melakukan tes hasil belajar siswa. Analisis data kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa dilakukan dengan menggunakan Independent Sample t-test. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa: kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa kelas eksperimen terhadap seluruh indikator kemampuan koneksi matematis dalam kategori rendah mengalami penurunan dari yang sebelumnya 74% menjadi 34% , sedangkan siswa yang berkategori baik/baik sekali mengalami peningkatan dari yang sebelumnya 27% menjadi 66%. Pada kelas kontrol, siswa cukup berani dalam menghadapi tantangan tetapi tidak yakin dapat mengatasi masalah.

Abstract. Learning outcomes are a measure of the success of students in learning the material delivered by the teacher. Data on students 'mathematics learning outcomes obtained at Bilah Hulu 2 High School showed that students' mathematics learning outcomes were relatively low so it was necessary to improve them, especially on mathematics subjects. The objectives of this research were to find out knowing the effect of mathmagic on the scramble learning model on student learning outcomes in the subject matter of Inverse Functions. This type of research is quantitative research using The One Group Pre-Post Test test Design. The research instruments used tests of student learning outcomes in the form of multiple choices. Data were analyzed by the T-Test, namely Paired Sample T-Test. The results average learning outcomes of class X MIA 1 Bilah Hulu 2 High School before being taught using mathmagic with a scramble learning model of 10.14 and a standard deviation of 3.563 and after being taught using mathmagic with scramble learning model of 16, 72 and standard deviation 2,987. Because the data obtained from the results of the t-test at a significance level of 0.05 is t count t table that is 16.784 2.045 then Ha is accepted. From these results, it can be concluded that there is a mathmagic influence with the scramble learning model on student learning outcomes by matching the question cards and answer cards available in random circumstances.Keywords: Mathmagic, Scramble, Learning Outcomes

Abstrak. Berpikir merupakan suatu proses penguatan hubungan antara stimulus dan proses, sebagai kegiatan kognitif tingkat tinggi, dan atau sebagai aktifitas psikis intensional. Berpikir dapat dikembangkan menjadi berpikit kritis, kreatif, berpikir tingkat tinggi dan lain-lain. Pembelajaran matematika merupakan suatu mata pelajaran yang dapat merangsang peserta didik untuk melakukan proses berpikir secara kritis dan kreatif. Matematika memiliki banyak masalah, untuk menyelesaiakan masalah diperlukan kemampuan untuk berpikir baik kritis maupun kreatif.
