This study aims to describe the difficulty of students in solving problems in the form of algebra clas VIII in terms of 3 indicators, namely (1) difficulty understanding concepts (2) difficulty understanding principles (3) difficulty understanding verbal problems. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. This research was conducted at Madrsarah Tsanawiyah Darul Hikmah of West Lombok. Data analysis techniques used are dat reduction, data display, and conclusions distribution. The result of the study stated that (1) students ability to understand concept was in the low category. The difficukty in understanding the concept is not being able to define terms. Coefficients, variables, and constants. (2) the ability of students to understand the principle is in the low category. Difficulty in understanding the principle that students are not able to operate the addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of algebraic forms if the variables are similar and not similar. (3) the ability of student to understand verbal problems is in the low category. The difficulty of student in understanding verbal problems is that students are not able to understand the purpose of questions in the form of stories, student do not understand what is asked in the problem. This show that the ability of student in each indicator is categorized as low.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Thingking Aloud Pair Problem Solving (TAPPS) Method on the Mathematical Problem Solving Capabilities of Semester 1 Students in Mathematics Education Program FPMIPA IKIP Mataram on Calculus I Subjects. The research method used was a quasi single subject experiment with group design (group design). In this study comparisons between groups using the average score (mean) with AB design, namely measurement of target behavior in the baseline phase (A) before the application of the TAPPS method carried out in two sessions and the provision of intervention (B) or the application of the TAPPS method performed in two sessions anyway. The instrument used was a lecturer and student activity observation sheet, to collect data about developments in each session or stage, a student interview guide, used to dig deeper information about the application of the TAPPS learning method, and a problem solving ability test sheet. The results of this study indicate an increase in the average value of session 1 by 60.17 and session 2 by 60.67 in the baseline phase (A) to session 3 by 66.83 and session 4 by 71.5 in the intervention phase (B). Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the application of the TAPPS method has a positive effect on the ability to solve calculus I problems.

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana respon mahasiswa pendidikan Matematika terhadap gagasan pembelajaran mobile berbasis kearifan lokal dan kepariwisataan di UNDIKMA Mataram. Subjek ini menggunakan 40 orang mahasiswa program studi pendidikan matematika UNDIKMA Mataram TA.2019/2020 yang diambil dengan metode simple random sampling. Data respon mahasiswa tentang gagasan pembelajaran mobile berbasis kearifan lokal dan kepariwisataan dikumpulkan menggunakan angket. Instrumen pengukuran yang digunakan yakni instrument angket pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal dan kepariwisataan, angket pemanfaatan teknologi mobile, dan angket respon mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran mobile berbasis kearifan lokal dan kepariwisataan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkanbahwa gagasan pembelajaran mobile berbasis kearifan lokal dan kepariwisataan pada Prodi Matematika sangat diperlukan. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari hasil penelitian pada tiap-tiap angket. Total rata-rata hasil dari observasi pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal dan kepariwisataan sebesar 37.4 yang terbilang rendah, dan pada data hasil respon mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran mobile berbasis kearifan lokal dan kepariwisataan pada mata kuliah- mata kuliah MIPA sebesar 64.30 yang terbilang tinggi, dan pada data hasil pemanfaatan teknologi mobile dalam pembelajaran sebesar 64.25 yang terbilang tinggi.

Students? knowledge about apperception material is important in supporting the success of a learning. One of the learning innovations to maximize apperception material can be done with treffinger learning model. This research aims to find out how the effect of the learning model treffinger on students? cognitive learning outcomes for the subject of two variables linear inequality system. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Gunungsari, West Lombok. The research design used is quasi experimental design. Sampling in this study uses simple random sampling technique. X MIA 3 class as an experimental class and X MIA 1 class as a control class. The research instrument was a test sheet and observation sheet for the implementation of the learning model treffinger. The results of the research were obtained by using t-test, the average score of cognitive results of the experimental class students was 68.88 and the control class was 64.10, obtained tcount>ttable (2.557 > 2.042). So it can be conclude that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, this means that there are significant treffinger learning model towards students cognitive learning outcomes in materials twi variable linear inequality system at class X grade of SMA Negeri 1 Gunungsari academic year 2018/2019.

The purpose of this study was to determine student achievement in the TAI and Jigsaw cooperative learning model in terms of multiple intelligences. This research method is a quasi experiment. The population of this study was students of Class VIII Middle Schools in the city of Banjarmasin, while the sample was VIII Class students of SMPN 1 Banjarmasin, SMPN 7 Banjarmasin and SMPN 14 Banjarmasin. Data analysis was performed inferential statistics. The results of the study indicate that (1) There are significant differences in student achievement in each of the TAI and Jigsaw cooperative learning models before and after treatment; (2) there is no significant difference in student achievement between linguistic intelligence, mathematical logic and others; (3) there is no significant difference in student achievement between linguistic intelligence, mathematical logic and others in the implementation of the TAI type learning model; (4) there is no significant difference in student achievement between linguistic intelligence, mathematical logic and others in the implementation of Jigsaw type learning models; (5) There is a significant difference between students' learning achievement and linguistic intelligence between learning models type TAI and Jigsaw

Students obstacle in the concept of shapes (triangles) based for researchers to implement meaningful teaching and learning methods using project learning models integrated with STEM approachment. In STEM-learning projects, students are trained to solve mathematical problems through projects that are integrated with one or another field. This classroom research conducted in 2 cycles with 4 stages each cycle, were plan, action, observ, and reflect. The purpose of this study was to determine the students' mathematical thinking abilities increasing. Subjects were students of class VIII of SMPN 4 Taliwang. The instruments used observation sheets and tests. The data obtained were analyzed and concluded as descriptive. The results of the learning implementation showed an increase from good to very good. Whereas the students mathematical thinking ability from pre-test and post-test result in 1st cycle has increased from 25 average score to 72. And in 2nd cycle achieved average scores 80 on post-test from 35 pre-test score. Seen from passing grade minimum, found that 1 person who passed on 1st cycle pre test to 16 persons passed on post test. And at the 2nd cycle, students who passed the pre-test 3 persons became 19 persons on post-test. At the finally tasks, each student group produced a one leg tabel models based on midpoint of combined triangles concepts. Based on these data, this study was declared successful according to the increasing achievement. Researcher's suggestion is using STEM project learning recommended for creating joyful and meaningful learning mathematics.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa sekolah menengah pertama yang ditinjau dari gaya kognitif Field Independent (FI), Field Intermediate (FID), dan Field Dependent (FD). Subjek penelitian ini adalah adalah siswa MtsN Pandeglang 1 kelas IX-C berjumlahkan 20 siswa yang dikelompokkan berdasarkan gaya kognitif yang dimiliki oleh setiap siswa, setiap kelompok gaya kogitif diambil perwakilan 2 siswa dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling untuk diukur kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematisnya. Kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis pada penelitian ini memiliki tujuh indikator. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa memiliki kesamaan dan perbedaan. Siswa dengan kelompok gaya kognitif Field Independent (FI) memiliki kesamaan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis, yaitu mereka mampu mencapai semua indikator yang terdapat pada kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis. Siswa dengan kelompok gaya kognitif Field Intermediate (FID) memiliki perbedaan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis, salah satu siswa dapat mencapai semua indikator dan siswa lainnya hanya memenuhi beberapa indikator kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang termasuk dalam kelompol gaya kognitif yang sama belum tentu memiliki kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis yang sama. Siswa dengan kelompok gaya kognitif Field Dependent (FD) hanya sedikit indikator yang mampu dicapai oleh siswa dalam indikator kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis.

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Narmada Kab. Lombok Barat melalui pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) Berbatuan Mr Math. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sebanyak 2 siklus, dengan subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X2 SMA Negeri 2 Narmada tahun ajaran 2016/2017 dengan jumlah 24 siswa. Dari penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan diperoleh hasil bahwa nilai rata-rata tes pada siklus I sebesar 57,58 dan siklus II sebesar 70,05. Persentase ketuntasan kelas pada siklus I sebesar 22,72% dan siklus II sebesar 82,60%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa secara tertulis mengalami peningkatan namun belum mencapai indikator yang ditentukan. Skor rata-rata total kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa secara lisan pada siklus I sebesar 2,43 dengan kategori cukup baik dan siklus II sebesar 2,98 dengan kategori baik. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa secara lisan mengalami peningkatan dan sudah mencapai indikator yang ditentukan. Skor rata-rata total hasil pengamatan KBM pada siklus I sebesar 2,70 dengan kategori baik dan siklus II sebesar 3,15 dengan kategori baik. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan guru dalam menerapkan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) mengalami peningkatan dan sudah mencapai indikator yang ditentukan. Secara umum pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa.

This study aims to determine the effect of interests and talents, facilities and learning motivation on students achievement (IPK). The population in this study were students of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences and students of the Faculty of Health Science in Universitas Nahdlatul Wathan Mataram, Indonesia. Samples used in this study were 33 students who were taken randomly. Data collection instruments using a questionnaire with a Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability before. The collected data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that: 1) learning facilities and motivation have a significant positive effect on student achievement (IPK), 2) interests and talents have no effect on student achievement (IPK), and 3) interests and talents, facilities and learning motivation simultaneously have an effect on significant on student learning achievement (IPK).

The purposes of this research were to determine: (1) is there a significant difference between the mathematical deductive reasoning abilities of students before and after learning of modeling the way (2) whether learning of modeling the way can improve the mathematical deductive reasoning abilities of students. The research was a quasi-experimental research, with one group pretest-posttest design. The location of this research was in MA NW Kabar, Sakra Sub-District, East Lombok Regency. The sample of this research were students of class XI MA NW Kabar. Instrument of this research was the mathematical deductive reasoning abilities test. The data of this research was analyzed using descriptive statistics with paired sampel t-test. The results of the research indicated as follows: (1) There is a significant difference between the mathematical deductive reasoning abilities of students before and after learning of modeling the way; (2) Based on the average and percentage of the mathematical deductive reasoning abilities test of students, the average of pretest is 49.48 with 40% of the students have the mathematical deductive reasoning abilities with good category, the average of posttest is 68.09 with 80% of the students have the mathematical deductive reasoning abilities with good category, it shows that the learning of modeling the way can improve the mathematical deductive reasoning abilities of students.
