Abstract

Relating to harmonization and social in the religious community will always get special attention. Especially if a change and progress is a common goal as a result of the hard work of people living side by side with one another. Aware of the appearance of a conflict and there will also be integration in the religious community which is likened to two sides of a coin. Where a conflict is a natural process in people's lives. But in these changes it is not particularly the conflict will be placed on the negative side always. This is why a religious social life fosters the integration and progress of a civilization of human life. And religious leaders are required to be able to maintain conflict in society in a positive and supportive direction. Then a social engineering related to integration is aimed at promoting peace and religious harmony. With great hope that this social integration process will be able to minimize the increase in issues of separatism, terrorism and religious radicalization that can damage religious harmony.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the perspective of maslahah mursalah regarding the program of 5 priority issues that exist in the PPPA Office of South Sumatra Province and what efforts can be made in terms of dealing with issues that occur in the community. The approach method used is a qualitative method or commonly known as the naturalistic observation method. The results of the study show that the 5 priority issues according to the perspective of maslahah mursalah are in line with the principles of maqashid Syariah and the rules of fiqh. Meanwhile, in handling the case, the efforts that the PPPA Office of South Sumatra Province can do are through advocacy, outreach, and coordination.

Abstract

Character education is a process to instill character values ​​in students so that they have good personalities and can determine how to think, behave and act in making decisions to live and work together in the family, community, nation and state. This research is motivated by the decline in the morale of the Indonesian people, especially the next generation of the nation with the occurrence of crime and brawls with the perpetrators, mostly young people. TPQ Al-Huda as a non-formal education becomes an effective institution to instill character values ​​in students from an early age. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the teacher's efforts in instilling character education in students. This study uses a qualitative research type with a descriptive approach. For data collection tools, researchers used the method of observation, interviews and documentation to obtain data which was then analyzed to obtain conclusions. From the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that teachers instill character education values ​​through the methods of habituation, reprimand and example. The values ​​of character education are instilled through teaching and learning activities such as reading and writing the Qur'an, memorizing prayers and short letters, guidance in the field of faith and morals. This can be seen from the attitudes and behavior of students such as polite, friendly, gentle, honest, independent, disciplined and responsible.

Abstract

In this study, students in the state's senior high school number two in Musi Rawas' eleventh grade were asked about their self-esteem and strategies for improving their English proficiency. 64 students in the eleventh grade were selected as the sample for this study using cluster random selection. The correlational research design was used in this study. Data for the study was gathered via questionnaires and written records. They were examined using the Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient and multiple regression analysis.The result showed that the sig. value of correlation between self-esteem and English achievement was 0.000 < 0.05, so H01 was rejected with 18.7% contribution of self-esteem. The sig. value of correlation between language learning strategies and English achievement was 0.000 < 0.05, so H02 was also rejected with 21.8% contribution of language learning strategies. The sig. change of correlation among self-esteem, language learning strategies, and English achievement was 0.000 < 0.05, automatically H03 was rejected with 24,3% contributions of self-esteem and language learning strategies.

Abstract

Education is an effort that aims to develop a complete human being which includes three aspects, namely cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects. To be able to achieve the educational goals which consist of these three aspects, it is necessary to develop various aspects of personality, including intellectual, social, and emotional. Individuals have two intelligences, namely thinking (intellectual intelligence) and feeling (emotional intelligence). Behaviors that refer to indications of low emotional intelligence of students such as not going to school without explanation, arriving late, fighting, saying rude / dirty words, not listening to the teacher during class, lying and fighting against the teacher. This study aims to determine the increase in students' emotional intelligence through a transactional analysis approach. The method used in this study is the Classroom Action Research method with 8 students as the research subject indicated low self-emotional intelligence. The implementation of the research consisted of three cycles, where each cycle consisted of four stages, namely planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The results showed that in cycle 1 there was an average increase in counselee's emotional intelligence of 87.20%, in cycle 2 there was an increase in counselee's emotional intelligence an average of 96.71%, and cycle 3 there was an average increase of 94.53% of counselee's emotional intelligence. From cycle 1 to cycle 3, it shows that there is an increase in students' emotional intelligence through transactional analysis counseling techniques of 84.87%. It was concluded that there was an increase in emotional intelligence from 8 counselees after being given counseling techniques with a transactional analysis approach, the average increase in each counselee was different, in each cycle, the counselee's response to knowing self-emotions, managing self-emotions, motivating oneself, empathy and skills social fluctuations. It is expected that guidance and counseling teachers in madrasas can use transactional analysis techniques in improving students' emotional intelligence.

Abstract

This paper will examine the evolution of children's creativity in the new millennium. The world of children is full of surprises, and the world of play is abundant with the sparks of a child's imagination in expressions that are so genuine, spontaneous, and astonishing. Children's imagination develops concurrently with their cognitive and linguistic abilities. And serve as a method for children to comprehend the reality of their existence and their surroundings. This study employs a descriptive qualitative methodology, which, in addition to utilizing available literature, makes observations on the research object. Creativity is the capacity to conceive of things in novel and uncommon ways and to generate original solutions to children's issues. Children who are creative are insatiably inquisitive, have many interests, and are enthusiastic about their hobbies and activities. The answer to a child's curiosity is creativity. Today's children have an abundance of potential due to their creativity.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the concept of God for the mystics and its contribution to religious tolerance in Indonesia. The questions to be answered in this research are (1) What is the concept of God for the Mystics ?, (2) What and how does the concept contribute in relation to religious tolerance, especially in Indonesia. This research is a qualitative research. The data source comes from the literature. The analysis method uses a hermeneutic which consists of elements of description and interpretation. The results of this study found that the God of the mystics is an impersonal God, in the sense of not being described. Another reality besides Him is His image. He is One and the cause of everything. He can only be found or approached by those who have purified themselves. The contribution of the mystics to the tolerance of the religious community lies in the similarity of their conception of God, namely as God who is undefined. This similarity can be used as a meeting point that allows the Religious community to be more inclusive and enlarge the equation, not the other way around

Abstract

This paper will review the thoughts of K.H Ahmad Dahlan, his thoughts were inseparable from the condition of the Indonesian nation at that time, namely being colonized by the Dutch, both in mental and physical form, in the mental form of being duped and in the form of physical peddling, namely forced labor and draining all the nation's resources. From this phenomenon was born the thought of renewal both through the fields of education and da'wah. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research with a library research approach and the results of this study are that the renewal of K.H Ahmad Dahlan through the establishment of the Muhammadiyah organization established educational and da'wah institutions to fight the resistance of the colonial nation for the sake of advancing Islam.

Abstract

The Kukerta Mandiri program in the community has the aim of increasing and developing motivation in the Tanah Periuk Village community. The targets that are expected to be achieved include: the need for religious knowledge for students is maximally fulfilled, cleanliness in the Nurul Iman Mosque environment is always maintained, invites the surrounding community to see business opportunities and manages agricultural products into small and medium enterprises, health of the elderly in the village. Tanah Periuk can be optimally maintained and monitored, the success of character education for students and for growing national unity and integrity as the main capital for the nation's children who need the important role of the family in forming patterns of thought and behavior for a sense of nationalism, as well as improving the mental and character of participants. better education, increase faith, piety and foster social sensitivity. The method of implementing this activity is education and practice, discussion, pilot and mentoring, sustainable development, adapting to the surrounding community and participating in every activity held by the surrounding community in Tanah Periuk Village. Some of the results achieved in this activity include the religious understanding of students who are already good, the environment around the Nurul Iman mosque is clean, manages the agricultural produce of the surrounding community into small businesses, students are diligent in participating in the flag ceremony, and the mental and character of students who are better.
