Abstract

Sebagai tenaga profesional yang memegang peranan penting dalam pembinaan peserta didik, konselor sekolah dituntut untuk memiliki kompetensi yang memadai dan terus meningkatkan mutu profesionalitasnya agar dapat memberikan pelayanan yang terbaik sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta didik. Supervisi yang tepat sasaran dan efektif merupakan salah satu faktor penting yang dapat mendukung peningkatan kompetensi tersebut, berperan sebagai proses pembinaan yang mendorong konselor untuk mengembangkan keterampilan, memperbaiki metode kerja, serta menambah pengetahuannya dalam memberikan layanan konseling. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh supervisi bimbingan dan konseling terhadap pengembangan profesi konselor di Sumatera Barat. Dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif, penelitian ini melibatkan 113 guru bimbingan dan konseling/konselor yang tersebar di sekolah-sekolah di Sumatera Barat sebagai sampel. Data dikumpulkan melalui dua instrumen angket, yaitu angket supervisi bimbingan dan konseling dengan reliabilitas butir sebesar 0,91 dan angket pengembangan profesi konselor dengan reliabilitas butir sebesar 0,92, yang selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier untuk melihat pengaruh supervisi terhadap pengembangan profesionalitas konselor. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa supervisi yang efektif dapat meningkatkan pengembangan profesi konselor dalam layanan bimbingan dan konseling.

Abstract

This study explored the impact of parental status on marital satisfaction and quality of life among parenting and child-free couples. Using an explanatory sequential mixed-methods design, 412 participants from the Greater Manila Area participated in the quantitative phase, and 20 participants were involved in the qualitative phase. Married individuals aged 25-50 years, married for at least two years, were included. The ENRICH Marital Inventory and WHOQOL-BREFwere used to measure marital satisfaction and quality of life, respectively, with semi-structured interviews adding depth to the findings. Quantitative results showed that having children positively influenced marital satisfaction, with parenting couples reporting higher satisfaction than child-free couples. Additionally, the number of children and length of marriage were positively associated with marital satisfaction, while age had a slight negative effect. Monthly income did not have a direct effect on marital satisfaction, but its relationship with quality of life weakened as income increased. The qualitative findings highlighted different priorities: parenting couples focused on their children’s future and often suppressed conflict to maintain family harmony, while child-free couples prioritized financial independence, travel, and open communication. These findings provide valuable insights for couples making decisions about parenthood, offering a clearer understanding of the factors influencing marital satisfaction and quality of life.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to evaluate the psychometric properties and feasibility of the e-Learning Autonomy Scale (e-LAS) when adapted for use in an Indonesian context, specifically focusing on students involved in electronic-based learning. This study used convenience sampling technique with a total sample of 188 participants who are students in Indonesian higher education and participate in e-learning. The data analysis performed was reliability testing using the SPSS programme and validity testing with CFA using JASP software. The reliability test, conducted using Cronbach's alpha, produced a result of 0.789, deemed acceptable by DeVellis (1991) criteria. To establish validity evidence for the adapted e-LAS measuring instrument, a multifacete approach was undertaken by the researchers. This involved gathering evidence through expert review, cognitive interviews, confirmatory factor analysis, and convergent analysis. The findings indicate that the adapted Indonesian version of the e-LAS exhibits acceptable reliability and is supported by strong validity evidence, affirming its effectiveness in measuring learning autonomy among students engaged in electronic-based learning in the Indonesian context.

Abstract

Kemandirian remaja merupakan hal yang sangat penting dalam proses menuju manusia yang dewasa. Kemandirian dibangun mulai dari diri sendiri dan juga lingkungan. Lingkungan yang memadai akan meningkatkan kemandirian remaja. Salah satu lingkungan yang mendukung kemandirian remaja adalah pesantren. Alat ukur yang valid dan reliabel dibutuhkan untuk mengukur tingkat kemandirian remaja. Sebelum alat ukur tersebut digunakan untuk mengetahui tingkat kemandirian remaja, alat ukur tersebut perlu diuji terlebih dahulu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen kemandirian remaja berdasarkan teori Stenberg yang mengatakan bahwa kemandirian remaja terdiri dari tiga aspek yaitu kognitif, perilaku, dan emosional. Penelitian ini dilakukan di pada 39 partisipan dari santriwan dan santriwati yang ada di Jawa Barat menggunakan desain penelitian cross sectional survey. Hasil pengumpulan data kemudian dianalisis melalui rasch model menggunakan aplikasi winstap 3.73. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa item reliabilty termasuk dalam kategori istimewa, sehingga instrumen ini dapat dijadikan salah satu alat pengukuran kemandirian remaja di pesantren. Rekomendasi bagi penelitian selanjutnya adalah mencari sampel yang lebih banyak agar instrumen yang dibuat dapat digunakan secara komprehensif.

Abstract

Every organization wants to survive and develop. Therefore, extra-role behavior, commonly called organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), is required. OCB is absolutely essential for both personal and organizational dynamics. Hence, the objective of this investigation is to ascertain the impact of emotional intelligence (EI) and adversity quotient (AQ) on OCB. This investigation employs quantitative methodologies grounded in a literature review, which are then subjected to meta-analysis. 16 pertinent articles were selected from Scopus, SINTA, and Google Scholar between 2018 and 2024 to conduct a literature review. Meta-analysis using JASP 0.8 4.0 software found that EI and AQ significantly affected OCB, with a correlation coefficient (r) = 0.373 and 0.337 at p-value < 0.01. EI has a stronger influence on OCB than AQ. In addition, this research does not show publication bias, so the publications reviewed genuinely reflect the actual situation. This evidence confirms and strengthens previous relevant research used as the basis of the meta-analysis and offers new things regarding the influence of EI and AQ that significantly influence OCB. Therefore, the findings deserve further discussion among researchers and practitioners in the future
