Abstract

Evaluation in the teaching and learning process is an important component that cannot be separated from the entire learning process. Even in Islamic learning, teachers need to evaluate with the aim of measuring the level of success of students to be achieved in learning activities. However, during the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus in Indonesian territory, how can teachers still carry out the process of evaluating Islamic religious education learning in schools. SMA Fatih Bilingual School is one of the leading schools in Banda Aceh City which also implements online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is a descriptive-analytical qualitative research that aims to describe the process of planning, implementing, and evaluating Islamic religious education learning during the Covid-19 pandemic by examining data obtained from SMA Fatih Bilingual School, Banda Aceh City. Based on the theoretical study and the results of research in the field, the researcher concludes that the results of research on the evaluation of Islamic religious education learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at SMA Fatih Bilingual School Kota Banda Aceh are as follows: PAI learning evaluation is a series of activities in collecting various information systematically. That way, teachers can describe the ability of students during the learning process and can be used as a follow-up in making a decision in the future. The learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic is carried out through a hybrid learning system by combining blended learning strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how effective the performance of PAI teachers in Pidie District Vocational High Schools are and how classroom management is in Pidie District Vocational High Schools. The data collection that the author uses in writing this thesis is a descriptive method, which is a method whose solution is investigated by describing the state of an object and a research at the present time based on the facts that are at the location or as they are and is a field research method, namely by conducting a direct study. the data in the field and also using the library research method, namely by examining books or documents that support the author's language theme. The results of this study indicate that the Effectiveness of PAI Teacher Performance in Vocational High Schools in Pidie Regency both at SMK Negeri 2 and SMK Negeri 3 PAI teachers have carried out their duties well, but not yet fully maximized, only PAI teachers in SMK 2 have been able to interact both to students compared to PAI teachers at SMK 3 Sigli and Class management at Vocational High Schools in Pidie Regency which is carried out at SMK Negeri 2 and SMK Negeri 3 both have shortcomings. PAI teachers at SMK Negeri 2 do not teach with the media in order to facilitate the learning process, while PAI teachers at SMK Negeri 3 are not able to follow the children's language so that children tend to be bored.

Abstract

There is no doubt that the educational process in modern Islamic boarding school is very orderly and organized, all of this is did’nt escape from the good management of the Islamic boarding school itself. Therefore, the author pleased to examine the Educational Process Management Strategy in Modern Islamic Boarding Schools in the Aceh Besar Region. The Islamic boarding school mean are: Al Falah Abu Lam U Islamic Boarding School, Al Manar and Oemar diyan Islamic Boarding School. The author used kualitatif method here, The datas comes from influential figures in the islmaic boarding school, Likes; The leader of the Modern Islamic boarding school, headmaster of school and one of his ustadz (inside teacher). The interesting thing in this research is that Modern Islamic Boarding Schools have been tested and are capable of creating Islamic cadres in the future in their own way. The way they do it is a deep management strategy, starting from program planning, implementation, evaluation and follow-up, that’s all carried out jointly with the teachers inside for the implementation of an educational process that runs well and regularly and to produce quality alumni.

Abstract

According to Quraish Shihab, achieving the perfect quality of education does not only require the role of educators and students, but more than that, it must pay attention to all things, both personnel and other roles that allow potential in developing Islamic education. Quraish Shihab wants the concept of Islamic education to be based on the Quran, therefore the concept of Islamic education must be taken from Islamic sources, one of which is the Quran, Quraish Shihab calls it Quranic education. This research can be said to be a character study, which is one type of qualitative research. The nature of a character study is an in-depth, systematic, critical study of a character's history, original ideas or ideas, and the socio-historical context surrounding the character being studied. The data desired in this research is qualitative data, so the analysis will be carried out using the content analysis method which is a scientific analysis of the content of a communication message. Based on the analysis of the results of research conducted on the concept of Islamic education in the perspective of Quraish Shihab, there are several things that are concluded as follows: First, Quraish Shihab says that in the Qur'an there are aspects that include Islamic education, namely: the purpose of Islamic education, the method of Islamic education, the nature of Islamic education, and the material of Islamic education. Second, in the context of education according to Quraish Shihab there are roles and responsibilities given to Muslim intellectuals. Third, in the elaboration of the concept of curriculum, several characteristics are needed that must be met so that the curriculum is in harmony with the values contained in the book of Allāh Swt (Al-Qur'an).

Abstract

The teacher's performance will describe his ability to carry out the task, to achieve the goals that have been set. The success rate of teacher performance in addition to showing the teacher's mastery of his competence is also influenced by several factors, both originating from his personality characteristics and environmental factors, such as teacher work discipline. The purpose of this study was to determine the content of reporting on the performance of PAI teachers and the responses of PAI teachers at elementary schools in Aceh Besar. This research was conducted by using a field study using a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observation and documentation. The results showed that the contents of reporting on the performance of PAI teachers at elementary schools in Aceh Besar included lesson plans designed at the beginning of the semester, the implementation of face-to-face learning in the classroom, assessing learning outcomes as a benchmark for students' ability to understand learning, guide and train students whether it is done during the teaching and learning process, or through remedial and enrichment, and learning methods used to facilitate teachers in the teaching and learning process in the classroom. The response (response) of PAI teachers at elementary schools in Aceh Besar to the content of their reports is based on the abilities or competencies possessed by a teacher, as well as support from the principal for the content of their performance reports, as well as an attitude of accepting what results have been realized in the reporting content in school. The implication of the content of performance reporting on the professionalism of PAI teacher learning at SD in Aceh Besar is that a professional PAI teacher must have mastery of the material to be explained to students in class, master competency standards and basic competencies to make it easier for teachers to map the learning provided, develop learning materials which is taught effectively by combining with the surrounding environment, utilizing technological tools as competitiveness in the digital era, and using interesting media to make it easier for students to understand learning.

Abstract

Teachers occupy a key position in education and are the ones who influence the ethics of their students. Therefore, a teacher is someone who can be used as a role model, digugu and imitated; both from the personal aspect, knowledge and behavior. The problem is that the reality that occurs in the field, many teachers do not understand this role, so they pay less attention to its implementation in the school environment and in the classroom. The purpose of this research is to find out: (1) Teachers' understanding of SMA Babul Maghfirah Kuta Baro and MA Darul Ihsan Darussalam Aceh Besar about teacher ethics in the learning process of Islamic Religious Education, and (2) Implementation of teacher ethics in the learning process of Islamic Religious Education at SMA Babul Maghfirah Kuta Baro and MA Darul Ihsan Darussalam Kuta Baro Aceh Besar. The research method is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that: (1) PAI teachers have a good understanding of ideal teacher ethics based on Islamic ethical values that refer to the Qur'an and al-Hadith as well as books related to adab / morals; including: the book of ta'lim muta'allim and the book of al Tibyan fi Adabi Hamalah al-Quran, and (2) PAI teachers are able to implement good Islamic ethics in schools with no conflicts that occur, both with fellow teachers and with students. Even PAI teachers are able to be good role models for all school residents, both in attitudes, deeds, speech and actions.

Abstract

The STIFIn method is one of the learning methods whose learning process focuses on a child's genetics, in its implementation this method offers a quick memorization solution that is done starting before the memorization process. The purpose of this research itself is to see how the implementation, impact and opportunities and challenges of the implementation of STIFIn methods in the process of memorizing the Qur'an. This research uses a qualitative approach and the research subjects of Headmaster, Tahfizh Teacher and Students Of Ma'had Tahfizh Baitul Quran Aceh Besar. Data collection is done by observation, interview and documentation. The results showed that, to apply the STIFIn method in the process of memorizing the most established students first carried out finger print, preparing tools and means and explaining the technical in memorization, after feeling ready to enter the implementation of the method in the classroom. The resulting impact through the implementation of this method is the increasing memories of students and students motivated in memorizing the Qur'an. In its application there are opportunities and challenges, among the opportunities generated is the cooperation with the Director of STIFIn Aceh and the assistance of outside experts who contribute to the implementation of this method. The challenges include relatively expensive administrative processes, self-adjustment and tools (media) as well as inadequate means.

Abstract

Teachers are educators who can become role models for students and their environment. Teachers’ exemplary attitudes in educating are part of powerful and effective methods in preparing and shaping the moral, spiritual, and social aspects of the students. Teachers are an ideal example in the view of their students, with their behavior and manners often imitated. Whether the students realize it or not, all of these exemplary behaviors will be instilled within themselves and their feelings and manifested both in words and actions. This study used a qualitative approach. The data came from primary and secondary sources, collected through observation and interview. The subjects in this study included male and female students, homeroom teachers, and school principals at SDIT (integrated Islamic elementary school) Teuku Umar Meulaboh, West Aceh District. The results of the study showed that: 1) The actualization of role modeling carried out by the teachers at the SDIT included courtesy, greetings, interpersonal acts, discipline, handshaking, and establishing rapport with the students; 2) The obstacles in developing the emotional intelligence of the students at the SDIT consisted of bad influences from non-educational entertainment, family, and friends as well as environment. The solutions for these included collaboration of teachers and parents, in which both the school and the parents were open to receiving input/opinions; and 3) The implication of teachers’ role-modeling in learning on the emotional intelligence of the students at the SDIT is that the teachers as role models motivate the students to learn and behave well so that the students can have a capital for developing exemplary daily behaviors.

Abstract

Every parent has a dual role in the family between the task of educating and earning a living, so it is feared that parents are less than optimal in carrying out both roles. As the majority of students in the Alqurān Education Park (TPA) have not properly actualized Islamic behavior. Research objectives: 1) To describe the Islamic behavior of students in the TPA Banda Aceh City, 2) To determine the implications of the profession of the santri guardian on the Islamic behavior of students in the TPA Banda Aceh. The qualitative research is descriptive with data sources of students, guardians of students and religious teachers. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Analysis of the interview data with source triangulation and percentage formula for questionnaire data. The results showed: 1) Description of Islamic behavior of students in TPA in the form of worshiping respect for their parents, respecting religious teachers, respecting friends, discipline, maintaining cleanliness, maintaining manners of speech, eating/drinking manners and learning the Alqurān. 2) The professional implications for the Islamic behavior of students at the TPA are related to the working hours of the santri guardians, showing that the majority of santri guardians are civil servants and non-civil servants who have time to educate children's Islamic behavior. Professional implications related to differences in formal education levels taken by civil servant and non-civil santri guardians show that the higher the education of the santri guardian, the better the efforts to educate children's Islamic behavior in the family environment.

Abstract

One of the institutions tasked with helping to improve the quality of education is the Education Quality Assurance Institution (LPMP). The purpose of this study was to identify the role of the Education Quality Assurance Institution in improving the quality of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers. This study uses a qualitative approach, this approach was chosen based on the research objective, namely to describe and analyze the process of improving the quality of PAI teachers in Suka Makmur District carried out by LPMP Aceh. The data collection techniques are interviews, and document studies. The results showed that the role of LPMP Aceh was as an organizer in the development of the education quality assurance system program, as a facilitator in education and training, and as a companion for education and training in improving the competence of PAI teachers. The form of coordination of the PAI Teacher Quality Improvement Program at LPMP Aceh in collaboration with Educational Institutions/Departments by providing technical assistance to the Education Office, and collaboration with KKG/MGMP teacher groups through mentoring in schools. As for the control that Aceh's LPMP faces is less coordinated the recorded retention schedule that Aceh's LPMP itself or outside the LPMP, and the allocation of the recorded funds also constitutes control because it is not in the List of Budget Project DIPA LPMP Aceh.
