Abstract

This study aims to investigate the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model in improving the learning outcomes of Hajj and Umrah materials in class VI students of SD IT Sairussalam. The research method used is qualitative research with a case study approach. The research participants involved 30 grade VI students who were studying hajj and umrah material. Research data was collected through class observations, interviews with teachers, and documentation of student learning outcomes. Data analysis was carried out through the process of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the application of the CTL model effectively improves the learning outcomes of Hajj and Umrah materials in class VI students. In applying the CTL model, the teacher uses a contextual approach that pays attention to the real-life context of students in presenting hajj and umroh material. Teachers also integrate various relevant learning resources and involve students in interactive and collaborative learning activities. In addition, the teacher provides regular feedback to students to help them improve their understanding and skills in hajj and umrah material.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) Know the concept of fostering the character of tolerance for students of SMP N 1 Sultan Daulat, Subulussalam City. 2) Knowing the implementation of tolerance character building for students of SMP N 1 Sultan Daulat, Subulussalam City. 3) Find out the follow-up of tolerance development for students of SMP N 1 Sultan Daulat, Subulussalam City. In this study, researchers used a qualitative research approach. Data collection techniques used are: Observation, Interview, Study documentation, Focus groups, Participation. The results of this study are: The results of this conclusion are: 1) The concept of fostering the character of tolerance which is applied in SMP Negeri 1 Sultan Daulat, includes: Values Education, Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue, Project-Based Learning joint problem groups, Simulations and Games Roles between students, Community Service Program, Development of Social Awareness, Collaborative Learning by Encouraging students to work together among students in groups, Excellence-Based Learning. 2) The application of tolerance character development for SMP N 1 Sultan Daulat students is not an obstacle in the application of the values of religious education. Teachers have a high awareness to respect students' religious differences and try to understand their needs in learning. Teachers also strive to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all students, regardless of their religion or background. 3) Follow-up to fostering the character of tolerance for students of Sultan Daulat 1 Public Middle School can be carried out through several steps and activities, including: Implementation of Tolerance Values in the Curriculum, Formation of Tolerance Committees, Teacher Training Providing training and coaching to teachers, Extracurricular Activities and Projects Tolerance, Conducting outreach and campaigns in the school environment, Leadership Development, Conducting periodic evaluations of the results and impacts of tolerance character building carried out.

Abstract

The problems in this study are translated into 3 problem formulations as follows: (1) What is the approach taken by PAI teachers in implementing Religiosity Values ​​at Sultan Daulat 1 Public Middle School? (2) What are the obstacles and challenges faced by PAI teachers in implementing religious values ​​at SMP Negeri 1 Sultan Daulat, Subulussalam City? This study used a qualitative descriptive research method with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documents. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data display, and conclusions or verification. The findings of this study are as follows: The efforts of Islamic Religious Education Teachers in instilling the values ​​of worship through religious activities in students of SMP Negeri 1 Sultan Daulat include holding dhuhur prayers in congregation, holding dhuha prayers for classes that have PAI subjects at first and commemorating religious holidays such as the commemoration of Isra' Mi'raj, Mawlid Nabi, Istighasah, holding call to prayer competitions, BTQ, qira'at, speeches, shalawatan, compensation for orphans, Ramadhan huts, breaking the fast together, tarawih prayers in congregation, management of zakat fitrah, and the slaughter of sacrificial animals. The efforts of Islamic Religious Education Teachers in instilling moral values ​​through religious activities in students of Sultan Daulat 1 Public Middle School include getting used to applying the school's Islamic culture in the form of 4S (smile, greet, greet, be polite) and 2M (turn off and guide) motorized vehicles in the school area and put up slogans that contain religious elements.

Abstract

This This study aimed to investigate the effect of preview, question, read, reflect, recite, and review (PQ4R) strategy on students’ learning interest and retention (memory). The study used an experimental method, utilizing a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group model. This study took place at MTsS (private Islamic junior high school) Harapan Bangsa in West Aceh District, Aceh, Indonesia in the even semester of the 2022/2023 Academic Year. The sample of the study consisted of 40 students in the experimental group and 40 students in the control group. The parameters measured in this study were learning interest and retention. Data on learning interest were analyzed by using the ANACOVA parametric statistical test while data on retention were analyzed by using the percentage formula. The results of the study showed that the learning interest of students who used the PQ4R learning strategy was higher than those who studied conventionally, with a score of 83 for the experimental class and 66 for the control class. This could be seen from the results of 30.80 > 3.97 (Fcount > Ftable), indicating the hypothesis Ha was accepted. Further, retention (memory) of students using the PQ4R learning strategy also differed, namely 89 for the control class and 95 for the experimental class. The study concludes that the application of the PQ4R strategy has an effect on the students’ learning interest and retention (memory) in the subject of Islamic Cultural History at MTsS Harapan Bangsa.

Abstract

Morals occupy an important position in human life, both as individuals, communities, and nations. This article aims to find out how the implementation of Rateb Siribee on the morals of students at the Ulumul Quran Mardhatillah Islamic Boarding School Pondok Tangga Besi Kota Subulussalam. This type of research includes qualitative research. Primary data in this study are the results of interviews with several students and teachers at the Ulumul Qur'an Mardhatillah Islamic Boarding School Tangga Besi, Subulussalam District. Secondary data is obtained through a review of documentation derived from books, journals, related articles that become a foothold in the implementation of research. Data collection techniques in this study include observation, interviews, and documentation review. The data analysis technique used in this research is content analysis. The implementation of Rateb Siribe on the morals of Pasantren Ulumul Quran Tangga Besi Subulussalam City students is to educate students to become qualified individuals for their religion and nation. In particular, making students feel the existence of Allah directly in everyday life, then educating students in discipline, increasing worship and strengthening friendship.

Abstract

Multiple Intelligences besides perfecting and developing the definition of intelligence, it also enriches learning methods. As we realize that in every human being produces intellectual diversity and different levels of development. Education should be able to develop various potentials that exist in children, one of which is psychosocial competence. The problem that currently occurs is that the competencies possessed by students, especially psychosocial competencies, are experiencing a decline, with the Multiple Intelligences approach it will be easy to develop these aspects. The purpose of this study was to determine the initial psychosocial competencies of SDIT Quantum School Banda Aceh students, the Multiple Intelligences approach that was carried out in developing the Psychosocial competencies of SDIT Quantum School students in Banda Aceh, and the final competencies achieved by students after using the Multiple Intelligences approach at SDIT Quantum School Banda Aceh. This research is a field research using qualitative methods. Data was collected through document review, interviews and documentation, then the data was analyzed through descriptive-qualitative. The results of the study found that the initial competence of SDIT Quantum School Banda Aceh students in accordance with the qualifications obtained from teachers through a report card review was categorized as good and still needed improvement. After using several approaches such as Brain Evo (Dermatoglyphics Multiple Intelligence Analysis), Talent Focus, Market Day, Family Gathering, Q-RAC (Quantum Ramadhan Activity), D' Survival Camp, Environment Day, Smart Parenting, PHBI (Islamic Holiday Celebration) , Cherity Day (Social Visit), Habit Training and efforts made by SDIT Quantum School to improve the education of students' attitudes, knowledge and skills, the final psychosocial ability of SDIT Quantum School Banda Aceh students has increased from year to year seen from the study of psychosocial aspects of report cards. which is contained in the 8 values of SEMANGAT and aspects of social ability (KI-2) in the 2013 Curriculum, the increase that occurs due to the implementation of the best process, namely Multiple Intelligences which is applied in every program at SDIT Quantum School Banda Aceh.

Abstract

Digital media literacy is an important key in dealing with various information technology phenomena that exist today. This study aims to find out how the media literacy competence of PAI teachers are, what are the media literacy competencies of PAI teachers, and the obstacles faced by PAI teachers related to media literacy competence at SMA Kota Bahagia, South Aceh. The research method used in this thesis is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach, the object of research is the principal and PAI teacher at SMAN Kota Bahagia, South Aceh. Data collection techniques that the author uses in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. The researcher is the main research tool with the help of observation and interview guides. The data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data visualization, verification, and conclusion validation. The results of the study indicate that the teacher's lack of understanding of the media in using it as a tool in teaching, because there are still many teachers with a more mature age in teaching so that the media is not too important unilaterally, and also obstacles in the tools / media that exist in schools such as focus and others. in teaching, don't forget the problem of networking in teaching and the uneven ownership of cellphones not all students have cellphones to support the learning process.

Abstract

Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers have not all realized literacy-based learning. This is because teachers' initiating actions are not all very good, so an in-depth study is needed in this regard. The purpose of this study is to explain the literacy culture of SKI teachers and the initiating action of SKI teachers in shaping literacy culture in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah of the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Banda Aceh. This research is field research with descriptive analysis. The data were obtained from SKI teachers in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Banda Aceh. Data were collected by purposive sampling through questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis began with reducing data, displaying data, and constructing data interactively. includingThe results of this study show that the literacy culture of SKI teachers in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah is manifested through (1) daily activities, including reading activities 15 minutes before learning and reading the Quran; (2) weekly activities, including literacy every Saturday and Minimoli (Mini Moving Lybrary); (3) semesterly activities, including book summarizing programs, reading camps, book donations, book worms, book presentations, and story telling; and (4) annual activities, including making class libraries and hunting literacy programs. (good) forIn addition, the initiating action of SKI teachers in shaping a culture of literacy in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah of the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Banda Aceh City is divided into 3, namely a score of 50–70 (not good) for as many as 3 SKI teachers; a score of 71–80 (good) for as many as 8 SKI teachers; and a score of 81–100 (very good) for as many as 4 SKI teachers. Initiating action is not influenced by length of service, latest education, or school status but is determined by being responsive, acting independently, and doing more than required.

Abstract

In the implementation of the Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages, surges or increases always occur in Indonesia every year, and are the cause of the emergence of a complex problem. there are many problems within the scope of hajj and umrah, such as the lack of a guiding role by the guide, resulting in the ignorance of the pilgrims about the Hajj and Umrah Organizing Law. The purpose of this study was to determine the Hajj ritual guidance strategy for the Office of the Ministry of Religion of the City of Banda Aceh and the factors that support and hinder the strategy of guidance for the Hajj rituals in improving the skills of pilgrims at the Office of the Ministry of Religion of the City of Banda Aceh. This research was conducted with a field study using a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the study show that the Strategy for guidance on Hajj rituals of the Office of the Ministry of Religion of the City of Banda Aceh in improving the skills of pilgrims by implementing a management strategy which includes 4 stages, the first is planning (planning). The second is organizing, the third is actuating, the fourth is supervision. Factors that support the existence of competent Hajj ritual guides, Have a legal umbrella, availability of adequate facilities and infrastructure, Inhibiting factors, there is a profile of pilgrims whose education level is elementary school, there is an advanced age for pilgrims so that their physical condition decreases, and has an effect on the lack of concentration of pilgrims pilgrimage in the implementation of Hajj ritual guidance

Abstract

Art learning as one of the sciences taught in schools must be able to answer the challenge that Islamic values education can be taught through learning in class. The fact shows that art learning which has been carried out in schools is considered less effective. The purpose of this study was to determine the teacher's ability, the application process and the supporting and inhibiting factors in integrating Islamic values in art learning. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. Data obtained by interview, observation and documentation. The research informants were school principals, curriculum representatives, art teachers, and students at MTsS Darul Ulum Banda Aceh and SMPIT Al-Fityan Aceh Besar. The results of the study show the teacher's ability to integrate Islamic values in art learning: (a) MTsS Darul Ulum Banda Aceh; Teachers find it difficult to find Islamic values that are exactly equivalent to material concepts. (b) SMPIT Al-Fityan Aceh Besar; The teacher is able to relate Islamic values by following the hadith references narrated by Bukhari and Muslim. The implementation process carried out: (a) MTsS Darul Ulum Banda Aceh; at the discussion stage the teacher tries to associate it with Islamic values. (b) SMPIT Al-Fityan Aceh Besar; The teacher tries to explain points about the afterlife messages as well as Islamic teachings. Supporting factors include the educational environment that combines general education and Islamic boarding school education, while the inhibiting factors are the teacher's ability level, which still has difficulties in integrating material.
