Abstract

Tujuan artikel ini ialah untuk meninjau: (1) Eksistensi yang dilakukan oleh Dayah dengan masyarakat lokal di wilayah Aceh Singkil; (2) Usaha Dayah dalam peningkatan akhlak terhadap masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumen. Teknik analisis data menggunakan: reduksi data, display data, dan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Temuan penelitian ini sebagai berikut: Pertama, Dayah Darul Muta’allimin sebagai lembaga pendidikan agama non formal memiliki kontribusi sebagai wadah pengembangan sumberdaya manusia di bidang keagamaan. Kedua, usaha Dayah Darul Muta’allimin Tanah Merah dalam meningkatkan akhlak masyarakat Aceh Singkil, melalui beragam kegiatan seperti mengadakan ceramah-ceramah, kajian-kajian intensif ke-Islaman setiap bulan, mengadakan program pengajian rutin satu minggu dua kali, memberikan kesempatan belajar dan mengaji di dayah, mengadakan bimbingan baca tulis Alquran kepada masyarakat. Ketiga, faktor pendukung dalam pelaksanaan program pendidikan yaitu: adanya pengaruh Pendiri, adanya interaksi sosial dan kerjasama yang baik antara dayah dengan masyarakat dan alumni, adanya tempat belajar dan tenaga pengajar, terwujudnya ekonomi umat. Sedangkan faktor penghambat dalam pelaksanaan program pendidikan keagamaan masyarakat lokal, yaitu: waktu yang berbenturan dengan kegiatan lain, kesibukan di siang hari dengan pekerjaan mereka, dan kurang adanya partisipasi dari kalangan pemuda.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the level of competence of certified Islamic religious education teachers in implementing the Islamic religious education curriculum, to describe the challenges and opportunities encountered by certified Islamic religious education teachers in implementing the Islamic religious education curriculum, and to explore the form of the implementation of the Islamic religious education curriculum in elementary schools in Sultan Daulat Sub-district, Subulussalam City. This study used a qualitative descriptive research method, collecting data by means of interview, observation, and documentation. Data analysis consisted of data reduction, data display, and conclusion or verification. The findings of this study showed that certified teachers of Islamic religious education possessed a number of competencies in implementing the Islamic religious education curriculum. The competencies included competence in planning and carrying out the learning process, competence in managing the learning process, intellectual competence, social competence, and personality competence. Further, in general, the opportunity experienced was teaching Islamic religious lessons directly by certified teachers of Islamic religious education. The challenges faced by the teachers were the low level of student motivation in Islamic religious education lessons and the inadequate infrastructure that supported learning Islamic religious education.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the application of the demonstration model in learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI) with a focus on Fardhu Kifayah material and its impact on improving student learning outcomes in class XI Science at SMAS Plus Muhammadiyah in Subulussalam. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with three cycles. The research data were obtained through observation, written tests, and document analysis. The demonstration model is applied in each cycle with structured steps and actively involves students in the practice of Fardhu Kifayah. The results showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes after the implementation of the demonstration model. The conclusion of this study is that the application of the demonstration model in PAI learning Fardhu Kifayah material can provide positive benefits in improving student learning outcomes. This model allows students to see and experience Fardhu Kifayah's practice firsthand, which helps increase students' understanding, skills, and motivation in carrying out the ritual.

Abstract

The development of student talents is more often found in Islamic boarding schools because Islamic boarding schools have a function other than as a religious education institution as well as a place to develop student's talents and potential holistically. One of the extracurricular activities that students are interested in is calligraphy extracurricular. This study aims to analyze the development of students' talents through calligraphy learning activities in increasing motivation to study PAI at the Raudhatul Jannah Islamic Boarding School. The research method used is qualitative research with a case study approach. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed using qualitative data analysis methods using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the study show that calligraphy extracurricular activities can develop students' talent in calligraphy and at the same time can also increase motivation to learn PAI. Learning calligraphy at Islamic boarding schools is carried out in a structured and organized way, starting from preparation, and teaching, to evaluation. Students who participate in calligraphy extracurricular activities get benefits such as developing skills, increasing creativity, and increasing motivation to learn PAI. However, there are still obstacles such as the lack of support from parents, the lack of adequate equipment, and the lack of time available for extracurricular activities. In order to improve the development of students' talents through calligraphy learning activities at the Raudhatul Jannah Islamic boarding school, researchers provide suggestions such as increasing the role of parents, increasing adequate equipment, and increasing the time available for calligraphy extracurricular activities.

Abstract

This article aims to 1) find out what parenting patterns are applied in the family of converts in fostering the practice of worship in children at the Mualaf Center Foundation, Subulussalam City. 2) what are the obstacles of the converts family in fostering children's worship practices at the Mualaf Center Foundation in Subulussalam City This research uses field research with a qualitative approach, the instruments used are interviews and documentation The Mualaf Foundation of the Mualaf Center of Subulussalam City has conducted routine studies in fortifying Aqidah and deepening religious knowledge every two times a week, In this process, parents have done their best to teach their children to provide religious understanding, some teach their own children and some give it to the Koran teacher/ustadpola parenting of converts in increasing understanding of the values of worship at the Mualaf Center Foundation in Subulussalam City in the families of converts is different, some are successful and some are not successful. The obstacle that muallaf families face is the lack of knowledge about Islamic teachings so that it is difficult to apply parenting patterns for children to understand the values of worship according to Islamic teachings.

Abstract

The formation of student character is important in the world of education to create a generation of quality and positive values. One approach used in the formation of student character is through habituation and exemplary. This study aims to examine the process of character building for SMP N 2 Sultan Daulat students through habituation and example. The method used in this research is qualitative research with a case study approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews and documentation studies. The research informants were teachers and students at SMP N 2 Sultan Daulat. The results of the study show that habituation and exemplary play a significant role in the formation of student character. Teachers at SMP N 2 Sultan Daulat consistently apply positive habits in their daily activities at school. They set a good example and teach students moral and ethical values. The teacher's example inspires students to internalize these values in their daily behavior.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the contribution of the values of Tariqat Naqshabandiyah in fostering the morals of students at the Darul Muta'allimin Islamic Boarding School, Aceh Singkil District. To describe the problem in depth and thoroughly, the researcher used a qualitative descriptive method, then the data was described, analyzed and discussed to answer the problem. From the results of the study it was found that students and congregations from the community who had attended khalwat suluk argued that practicing the Naqsayabandiyah Order could change their behavior in a better direction and welcomed the khalwat suluk worship held at the Darul Muta'allimin Islamic Boarding School in Aceh Singkil, where the goal is to get closer to Allah, is good and does not interfere, because the social relations of the khalwat congregation with the community are maintained, because the purpose of suluk activities in the Naqsyabandiyah Tariqat is noble to get the pleasure of Allah swt. so the benefits are peace of mind, always remembering Allah's commands and all His prohibitions, so that students and residents consider this activity very positive, because all things that have a good purpose to get closer to Allah will get good results too.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of parents of students in sending their children to the Darul Muta'allimin Islamic Boarding School. And to describe the level of motivation of parents in sending their children to the Darul Muta'allimin Tanah Merah Islamic Boarding School after the death of Abuya Syekh H. Bahauddin Tawar. This study used a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that: 1) The role of parents in sending their children to the Darul Muta'allimin Islamic Boarding School is divided into 3 roles, namely Providing Support, Providing Motivation and Supervising. 2) The level of parents' motivation was very high in sending their children to the Darul Muta'allimin Tanah Merah Islamic Boarding School after the death of the late Alm. Abuya H. Bahauddin Tawar. This can be seen from the increasing number of students every year. In the 2022/2023 academic year, the total number of students at the Darul Muta'allimin Islamic Boarding School was recorded at 1,414 students.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model in improving the learning outcomes of Hajj and Umrah materials in class VI students of SD IT Sairussalam. The research method used is qualitative research with a case study approach. The research participants involved 30 grade VI students who were studying hajj and umrah material. Research data was collected through class observations, interviews with teachers, and documentation of student learning outcomes. Data analysis was carried out through the process of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the application of the CTL model effectively improves the learning outcomes of Hajj and Umrah materials in class VI students. In applying the CTL model, the teacher uses a contextual approach that pays attention to the real-life context of students in presenting hajj and umroh material. Teachers also integrate various relevant learning resources and involve students in interactive and collaborative learning activities. In addition, the teacher provides regular feedback to students to help them improve their understanding and skills in hajj and umrah material.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) Know the concept of fostering the character of tolerance for students of SMP N 1 Sultan Daulat, Subulussalam City. 2) Knowing the implementation of tolerance character building for students of SMP N 1 Sultan Daulat, Subulussalam City. 3) Find out the follow-up of tolerance development for students of SMP N 1 Sultan Daulat, Subulussalam City. In this study, researchers used a qualitative research approach. Data collection techniques used are: Observation, Interview, Study documentation, Focus groups, Participation. The results of this study are: The results of this conclusion are: 1) The concept of fostering the character of tolerance which is applied in SMP Negeri 1 Sultan Daulat, includes: Values Education, Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue, Project-Based Learning joint problem groups, Simulations and Games Roles between students, Community Service Program, Development of Social Awareness, Collaborative Learning by Encouraging students to work together among students in groups, Excellence-Based Learning. 2) The application of tolerance character development for SMP N 1 Sultan Daulat students is not an obstacle in the application of the values of religious education. Teachers have a high awareness to respect students' religious differences and try to understand their needs in learning. Teachers also strive to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all students, regardless of their religion or background. 3) Follow-up to fostering the character of tolerance for students of Sultan Daulat 1 Public Middle School can be carried out through several steps and activities, including: Implementation of Tolerance Values in the Curriculum, Formation of Tolerance Committees, Teacher Training Providing training and coaching to teachers, Extracurricular Activities and Projects Tolerance, Conducting outreach and campaigns in the school environment, Leadership Development, Conducting periodic evaluations of the results and impacts of tolerance character building carried out.
