Abstract

Adolescence is a phase of life experienced by every individual from childhood to adulthood, at this time adolescents are very vulnerable to negative influences, such as theft, drug use, and other things that trigger deviant behavior. The surrounding environment greatly influences the formation of a teenager's character, because teenagers generally spend more of their time in association with their friends or with the surrounding community. Gampong Beunot is the most densely populated village in Syamtalira Bayu District, its heterogeneous population makes the Gampong Beunot community more open. Even though society is more open, social phenomena are also unavoidable, especially with regard to teenagers, from 2010 to 2017 Gampong Beunot is the Gampong with the most frequent occurrence of moral decadence, this causes public unrest and discomfort then the condition changes to a more better over time compared to the past. This is undeniable because the community has made various efforts and efforts, from the preventive, persuasive to the repressive stages which of course will face various obstacles. This type of research is a qualitative research that uses field research methods using primary and secondary data. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The findings of this study indicate that the preventive measures taken by the Gampong Beunot community in overcoming the moral decadence of adolescents are by holding regular recitations, counseling, sports programs, women's programs, and curfew rules, while Persuasive steps taken by the Gampong Beunot community are persuasive communication and exclamation banners, and also for repressive actions carried out by the Gampong Beunot community, namely by giving customary sanctions, criminal penalties, besides that the Gampong Beunot community also has several obstacles in overcoming the moral decadence of teenagers namely the apathy of society, uncooperative parents of teenagers, and teenagers who have a brutal and aggressive nature.

Abstract

Globalization has resulted in a shift in human morals, marked by the many cases of moral deviations that are rife in various parts of Indonesia so that the application of spiritual attitudes has not been maximized. The attitude of dishonesty is shown by the number of students who cheat on the test, and the attitude of indiscipline is shown by the number of students who are late so that the application of social attitudes does not seem to be visible. The role of PAI teachers is considered quite important for the development of these two attitudes. At SMPN 1 Darussalam, PAI teachers have played a role in fostering spiritual and social attitudes. Big. This research was conducted with a field study using a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews and documentation. The results showed the role of PAI teachers in fostering spiritual attitudes by praying before and after lessons, praying in congregation, doing charity activities every Friday, and religious activities. The role of PAI teachers in fostering social attitudes is carried out through social service activities, visiting the Disabled Foundation and nursing homes, getting used to the 3S (smile, greeting, greeting), reporting to the teacher what items are found, punishing students who are late. Factors supporting the role of Islamic Education teachers in fostering spiritual and social attitudes are seen from adequate school facilities in the form of female/male prayer rooms, learning media such as LCD, the use of active methods. While the inhibiting factors include the lack of adequate facilities, especially LCDs, the lack of interest in teachers and knowledge, and the lack of interest in students to improve themselves.

Abstract

The Diniyah program is one of the programs initiated by the Banda Aceh City government to assist schools in internalizing the value of Islamic education to students. Through this program, it is hoped that there will be improvements in student behavior or character in the future. The research objective was to see how the implementation, approaches, opportunities, and challenges of character building for students at MIN 1 Banda Aceh. This study used a qualitative approach with the research subjects of the head, teachers, and students of MIN 1 Banda Aceh. Data collection was carried out by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the stages of the Diniyah program implementation were carried out through a) Al-Qur'ān reading and writing program, b) Increasing memorization and muraja'ah, c) Increasing daily prayer memorization programs, d) Increasing understanding of the contents of the book, e) Increasing the understanding student worship, f) increasing student moral development, which is carried out in the classroom and outside the classroom. The approaches taken include a) awareness approach, b) habituation, c) modeling. There is an opportunity for students to have the maximum time to complete the character-building program properly and schools can improve the quality of the school for the better. The challenges include lack of family support, environment, student readiness, lack of facilities, and several other internal school conditions.

Abstract

Kompetensi Pedagogik guru PAI mempunyai hubungan positif atau negatif terhadap hasil belajar PAI sebagaimana kompetensi pedagogik yang dimiliki guru. Maka dilakukan penelitian tentang korelasi antara kompetensi pedagogik guru dengan hasil belajar PAI di SMA Negeri 2 Bireuen. Rumusan masalah dalam hal ini adalah apakah terdapat korelasi (hubungan) antara kompetensi pedagogik guru dalam membuat perencanaan, melaksanakan dan mengevaluasi pembelajaran dengan hasil belajar siswa pada pelajaran PAI.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kompetensi pedagogik guru PAI dengan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PAI di SMA Negeri 2 Bireuen. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat dua variabel yang diteliti yaitu independent dan dependent. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah keseluruhan Guru PAI dan siswa SMA Negeri 2 Bireuen Kabupaten Bireuen. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 74 siswa kelas XI dan guru PAI SMA Negeri 2 Bireuen dengan melakukan teknik random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan angket. Analisis data menggunakan analisis korelasi Product Moment SPSS 17.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa korelasi kompetensi pedagogik guru dengan hasil belajar PAI siswa terlihat rendah. Hal ini ditunjukkan melalui analisis regresi dan korelasi. Dalam uji regresi pada taraf signifikan 10% diperoleh signifikansi sebesar 0,400 > 0,10 dan uji korelasi berada pada tingkatan 0,997 dengan koefisien determinasi 8%. Oleh karena itu, kesimpulannya bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kompetensi pedagogik guru dengan hasil belajar PAI siswa pada SMA Negeri 2 Bireuen.

Abstract

This study attempts to describe the communication strategies used and various kinds of activities carried out by UIN Ar-Raniry public relations in establishing relationships with the press media. The research method used in this study is the qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The data sources of this study were obtained from respondents as the primary data source through several stages in the form of observations records, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data analysis was performed by using descriptive qualitative analysis techniques through three flows of activities that were carried out simultaneously, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The result of the study revealed that the role of public relations of UIN Ar-Raniry in establishing relations with the press media has been going well. It can be seen from the communication strategies used and the various forms of activities that is organized by UIN Ar-Raniry public relation in developing relations with the press media. The communication strategy used is a two-way symmetrical and Reciprocity communication strategy that conforms to the principles of media relations. Several kinds of activities carried out by UIN Ar-Raniry public relations in developing relationships with the press media are Press Coverage, Press Conference, Press Release, Press Statement, Press Interview, and Electronics Communications. Meanwhile, the informal activities are Press Reception and Morning Coffee.

Abstract

One of the functions of education is to form the character of students. Character building is a system of inculcating character values ​​to students through competency achievement activities in accordance with the level of education. Character education at the institutional level leads to the formation of values ​​that underlie individual behavior applied in society. The problem that arises in this research lies in fostering student character so that it gives rise to several research questions such as: How to plan students’ character development at Ma'had UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh in building student character, How is the implementation of the Ma'had UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh program in fostering student character and what are the implications of the Ma'had UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh program in fostering students’ character. The purpose of this study is to determine the efforts made by ustaz ustazah in planning student character development in Ma'had, to determine the implementation of the Ma'had UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh program and to find out what are the implications of the Ma'had UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh program. in building student character. The research method in this thesis uses qualitative research methods in the form of descriptive analysis. Data collection was carried out using observation, interview and documentation techniques. The results in this thesis research indicate that planning at the beginning of the program that students are required to live in a dormitory and the role of dorm supervisor is very important for students in the dormitory. They carry out disciplinary attitudes through congregational prayers, Implementation of the Ma'had program through the Tsaqafah Islamiyah program, the Tahsin program and the Dormitory program. The ma'had program is very beneficial for students, because undergoing activities in a dormitory is like living in an Islamic boarding school. Surely, it really helps them in doing good things, especially in worship to get closer to the Khaliq and many other positive things that students get during this program. They can manage their time in discipline.

Abstract

The study in this thesis research departs from efforts to see how the motivation and interest of parents of students in sending their children to SMP-IT Darul Muta'allimin, Meulaboh. Parents have a big role in determining the direction of their children's education, including in selecting schools for their children. This thesis is entitled Motivation of Parents to Send Their Children to SMP IT Darul Mutallimin, Meulaboh. (1) To find out why SMP IT Darul Muta'allimin is the choice of parents in sending their children to school (2) To find out what are the motivations of parents in sending their children to SMP IT Darul Muta'allimin. Data collection in this study was carried out using a qualitative method approach, in which researchers began to get involved from observing the motivation of parents to send their children to SMP IT Darul Mutallimin, conducting in-depth interviews with parents who had been selected as samples in this study, documenting several pictures. which are considered important as research data, to the data analysis process which is carried out by sorting and selecting data that is considered to have a relationship with the theme of this thesis. The results of the study show that among the motivations of parents of students to send their children to the Darul Mutallimin Islamic Boarding School, it is due to several factors, including because the trend of sending their children to Islamic boarding schools has become a trend and parents choose education that is combined with religious values ​​as a solution to social change. In addition, graduates of integrated Islamic boarding schools are considered to have additional skills, and are more independent for children to live their lives after they have completed their education there.

Abstract

Learning strategy can be interpreted as a plan that contains a series of activities designed to achieve certain educational goals. Cooperative learning is learning that is carried out together or in groups between students and other students, who help each other in solving a problem on the material that has been given by the teacher in order to achieve completeness in achieving the lesson. Learning Islamic Cultural History (SKI) is a conscious effort made by the teacher to provide knowledge to students about important events that occurred in Islamic civilization and its figures with the aim of motivating students towards noble behavior changes. This study aims to describe the implementation of cooperative learning in SKI class VII MTs Darul Aitami Aceh Selatan. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis of the data that the author obtained in the field. Data collection was done by interview and observation. The author conducted interviews with SKI subject teachers and the author made continuous observations of class VII. And the results of the study show that the application of cooperative learning carried out by SKI subject teachers at MTs Darul Aitami is fairly "good". This can be seen from the process of preliminary activities, core activities and closing activities where most of the indicators are well achieved.

Abstract

Development as an effort to improve one's technical, theoretical, conceptual and moral abilities in accordance with needs, is associated with the school of course through education and the need to achieve educational goals. In the world of education, school principals together with stakeholders strive to increase competitiveness. The purpose of this research is to describe the concept of developing SLB YPPC Banda Aceh in increasing competitiveness in the modernization era. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, namely a narrative description of the subject's behavior process in accordance with the focus of the problem under study. Data collection techniques using the method of observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that YPPC Banda Aceh SLB, in developing schools to increase competitiveness is in accordance with the concept of the vision, mission and goals of the school. The quality of learning is in accordance with the national curriculum. In developing SLB YPPC Banda Aceh human resources in collaboration with parents of students, official agencies and other agencies. Facilities and infrastructure in support of human resource development activities and the development of learning activities that are real are adequately adapted to the times and technology, and SLB YPPC Banda Aceh maintains good relations with the local community and always involves the community in school activities.

Abstract

Howard Gardner's idea about the existence of multiple intelligences or multiple intelligences which he outlined in his book "Frames of Mind" has changed the perspective of many people in studying human intelligence. To recognize and develop all the intelligences possessed by each student which varies greatly and all combinations of these intelligences the state has an important role to play, including in formulating various policies in education laws. However, in Indonesia, there are still many teachers who often do not provide opportunities and opportunities for their students to develop their multiple intelligences through suitable learning strategies and methods. One of the factors that may underlie this is the absence of mention of the theory of multiple intelligences in the Indonesian National Education System Law or the 2003 National Education System Law. In this study the authors wish to examine the relevance of the theory of multiple intelligences to the 2003 National Education System Law. This research is a qualitative research that can be categorized as library research. The results of this study explain that there is some relevance between the theory of multiple intelligences and the 2003 National Education System Law.
