Abstract

The ideal profile principals and berkompetan require government intervention in the form of a policy of recruiting candidates for the principal. This study focuses on the evaluation of the implementation of recruiting candidates for the head of State Senior High School (SMAN) in Banda Aceh. This study, using a qualitative approach, with the evaluation model CIPP (Context, Input, Process, and Product). The data collection covers, interviews, observation and study of the document. The results of the study are; 1) The purpose of recruiting candidates for the principal, 2) Readiness implementation of recruiting candidates. 3) Implementation of recruiting candidates for the principal's, selection of administrative and academic, education and training, and the appointment and establishment. 4) Principal as a result of recruitment professionals who met the qualifications and competence of the administration. Based on the findings of research and analysis of data, it can be concluded that the evaluation of candidate recruitment policy is based on the principal stages and mechanisms set out in the policy. However, there are still shortcomings and weaknesses, associated with the process of the administration and the readiness of candidates of principals.

Abstract

The teacher as a profession is personified as a person who is able to transform knowledge well in order to educate the nation's children. This study focuses on evaluating the pedagogic competency of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in the preparation of learning planning, preparing learning procedures, managing learning and evaluating learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the planning, management, and evaluation of learning. This study uses a qualitative approach with the CIPP evaluation model (context, input, process, and product), while the object of the research is Pangkalpinang City State High School with the subject being the PAI study teacher. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews and documentation studies. The results of the study found that the context (learning planning) of PAI teachers was guided by the education service circular. Inputs (preparation and procedures) are carried out periodically and continuously. Process is carried out by facilitating the development of students' interests and potential. While the product (evaluation of student learning outcomes) is done orally and in direct practice. Whereas (product) evaluation of student learning outcomes is carried out orally and in direct practice. Evaluation of pedagogic competencies of PAI teachers of high schools, carried out by school principals and school supervisors periodically with guided by the education service circular.

Abstract

Stres dikenal suatu prilaku negatif yang dialami oleh seseorang, bisa tenaga pendi-didik, tenaga kependidikan atau oleh pegawai di instansi lainnya. Stres disebabkan oleh suatu tekanan yang menyebabkan seseorang tidak stabil dalam berprilaku dan akan mempengaruhi kestabilan dan kefokusan dalam bekerja. Bagi pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan stres bisa disebabkan oleh tuntutan pekerjaan atau masalah pribadi, yang keduanya akan mempengaruhi tekanan mental. Akibatnya kalau dari tuntutan atau masalah tersebut tidak teratasi dapat mempengaruhi kesehatan atau jatuh sakit. Namun demikian, bagi pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan stres harus dapat dikelola dengan baik dengan menggunakan berbagai pendekatan, seperti olahraga, rekreasi, berteman dengan orang yang ilmu agamanya lebih tinggi, dari pendekatan itu, bisa mengurangi volume dari kesetresan seseorang.

Abstract

Implementation of school level education is determined by the readiness, competence and ability of teachers in managing and controlling learners. This study focuses only on the readiness of teachers of Islamic Education (PAI) in planning, implementing and conducting assessments in the learning process. This study aims to determine the strategy of learning planning, preparation of learning materials, methods of implementation and evaluation techniques by teachers of Islamic Education at SMAN in Pangkalpinang City. This research uses descriptive method with qualitative approach. The results showed that PAI teachers at SMAN had done the planning by containing competency standards, basic competencies, indicators, learning objectives, subject matter, approaches, strategies and learning methods, learning activities, tools / learning resources and assessment. While the method of palembang is more dominant using lectures, discussions, assignments and practices. While the means of assessment use in writing, oral and observation.

Abstract

Conflict does not always have to be perceived by destroying or destroying a school. Considerably that the presence of conflict in schools is destructive and that there is a new power for school change and for the people in it. The method of determining whether a conflict can be destructive or constructive can be done through an in-depth analysis study, knowing in advance what the cause of the conflict is, what is the motive of the conflict, why the conflict can occur. From various studies, school conflicts are caused by non-transparent headmasters in financial reporting, arrogant to teachers, students and staff; Make policy at will; Do wild pengutan, and teachers do violence against students during the hours of lessons take place. Conflict can build a school from its non-development, that is, school personnel encourage the conflict to be presented so that leaders can realize that at school there must be a change in leadership management.

Abstract

Abstract The principal has a strategic role in developing and intensifying teachers’ competencies, including sustainable professional development. The Principal is under an obligation to provide guidance, assistance, assessment and supervision to teachers related to the organization and development of pedagogical skills. An appointed principal with qualified supervisory skill in carrying out these duties is necessary to accomplish the guidance and supervision processes technically in well-balanced, stable and dynamic. Supervision responsibility can be actually carried out anytime and anywhere, but in an educational organization system, supervisors should be directly presented in controlling the continual direction and guidance for the development of teachers objectively. Sustainable professionalism development for professional teachers can be emphatically actualized by providing proper awards, teacher certification, education and training, provision of learning facilities, equal distribution of teaching and learning hours, and provision of incentives based on their duties and responsibilities. Endorsements of sustainable professionality development for professional teachers consist of self-development, scientific publications, and or innovative works. Every supervision result needs to be ceaselessly followed up with an ongoing evaluation in order to get a solution in achieving the improvement of teachers’ professionalism. Abstrak Kepala sekolah mempunyai peran strategis dalam upaya pengembangan dan peningkatan kompetensi guru, termasuk pengembangan keprofesian berkelanjutan. Kepala Sekolah bertugas memberikan bimbingan, bantuan, pengawasan dan penilaian kepada guru terkait dengan penyelenggaraan dan pengembangan pendidikan pengajaran. Kepala sekolah dalam melaksanakan tugasnya, dengan kompetensi supervisi dapat melakukan proses pembinaan dan pengawasan secara seimbang, stabil dan dinamis. Tugas supervisi sesungguhnya dapat dilaksanakan kapan saja dan di mana saja, tetapi dalam sistem organisasi pendidikan, supervisor perlu hadir secara langsung untuk memberi arahan dan pembinaan secara objektif. Upaya pengembangan keprofesian berkelanjutan bagi guru dapat dilakukan dalam bentuk penghargaan, sertifikasi guru, pendidikan dan pelatihan, penyediaan fasilitas pembelajaran, pemerataan jam pembelajaran, pemberian insentif sesuai beban tugas dan tanggungjawabnya. Penguatan pengembangan keprofesian berkelanjutan bagi guru, meliputi pengembangan diri, publikasi ilmiah, dan karya inovatif. Setiap hasil supervisi perlu ditindaklanjuti agar mendapatkan solusi dalam rangka peningkatan profesionalisme guru.

Abstract

Progress in information and technology simultaneously affect patterns of interaction and communication systems in education and learning. The availability of increasingly complex communication devices, is so simple that it is increasingly easy to use. Communication is a bridge to establish interactions between individuals and groups, sending messages between individuals and groups can be received directly without time difference even though far apart. The learning process as an interaction and communication is directed to help develop all the potential, skills, positive characteristics possessed by students. Learning interaction patterns and criteria can be done with basic patterns of interaction, interaction centered on content, interaction centered on the teacher, interaction centered on students, communication learning is very important in order to determine the success of education. The learning achievements of each graduate are also influenced by patterns of interaction and communication systems applied by educators. The teaching and learning process, mostly occurs because of the communication process, both which takes place intrapersonal and interpersonal. Progress an educational technology also results in the increasingly available educational devices based on optic / teleconference sources and learning materials available on the internet, media and learning tools based on visual and audio visual. Learning technology will lead to curriculum improvement, improvement of teacher / lecturer resources, improvement of graduate quality, absorption of graduates and satisfaction of alumni users. Abstrak Kemajuan informasi dan teknologi secara simultan sudah mempengaruhi pola interaksi dan sistem komunikasi pendidikan dan pembelajaran. Ketersediaan perangkat komunikasi yang semakin kompleks, sangat sederhana sehingga semakin mudah digunakan. Komunikasi merupakan jembatan untuk menjalin interaksi antara individu dan kelompok, pengiriman pesan antar individu dan kelompok dapat diterima secara langsung tanpa perbedaan waktu meskipun tempat berjauhan. Proses pembelajaran sebagai interkasi dan komunikasi diarahkan untuk membantu mengembangkan semua potensi, kecakapan, karakteristik positif yang dimiliki oleh peserta didik. Pola dan kriteria interaksi pembelajaran dapat dilakukan dengan pola dasar interaksi, interaksi berpusat pada isi, interaksi berpusat pada guru, interaksi berpusat pada siswa, komunikasi pembelajaran sangat penting dalam rangka menentukan keberhasilan pendidikan. Capaian pembelajaran setiap lulusan dipengaruhi pula oleh pola interaksi dan sistem komunikasi yang diterapkan oleh tenaga pendidik. Dalam proses belajar mengajarnya, sebagian besar terjadi karena proses komunikasi, baik yang berlangsung secara intrapersona maupun secara antarpersona. Kemajuan teknologi pendidikan juga berakibat pada semakin tersedianya perangkat pendidikan yang berbasis optic/teleconference sumber dan bahan belajar yang tersedia di intenet, media dan perangkat pembelajaran yang berbasis visual dan audio visual. Teknologi pembelajaran akan bermuara pada perbaikan kurikulum, peningkatan sumberdaya guru/dosen, peningkatakan mutu lulusan, daya serap lulusan dan kepuasan pengguna alumni.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Psikologi Komunikasi Pendidikan Sebagai media Pembinaan Narapidana di Banyuasin”. Latar belakang masalah penelitian ini berkaitan dengan profil individu narapidana yang mengalami ganguan kepercayaan diri yang relative rendah seperti kurang yakin, perasaan cemas yang berlebihan, bingung, tidak bisa menyelesaikan masalahnya sendiri dan malas berfikir. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui urgensi materi psikologi dan komunikasi pendidikan sebagai salah satu upaya peningkatan kepercayaan diri dalam pembinaan karir bagi narapidana. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Temuan lapangan menunjukkan bahwa psikologi komunikasi pendidikan dalam pembinaan karir dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan diri narapidana menjelang bebas. Peran ini menjadi penting untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri narapidana menjelang bebas didukung dengan layanan yang diberikan pihak Lembaga pemasyarakatan (lapas) Klas III Banyuasin. Setelah proses psikologi komunikasi, para narapidana merasakan lebih percaya diri sendiri untuk mampu beradaptasi dengan lingkungan sosial karena sudah memiliki skill yang bisa dimanfaatkan sebagai pekerjaan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidup tanpa harus melakukan kegiatan tindak kekerasan untuk mendapatkan uang.

Abstract

Pemilihan presiden akan berlangsung tahun 2024 mendatang. Ada beberapa lembaga survei yang merilis tingkat elektabilitas calon presiden yang mencuat di mata publik, Anies Baswedan adalah salah satu calonnya. Kemunculan Anies Baswedan telah menjadi sorotan partai politik dan media massa. Elektabilitas Anies Baswedan di masa mendatang juga dipengaruhi oleh media massa yang akan memberikan persepsi kepada publik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana koran kompas dan republika.co.id mengonstruksi isi berita yang berkaitan dengan Anies Baswedan tentang isu korupsi. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif dengan model framing Zhongdang Pan dan Gerald M.Kosicki. Hasil penelitian menunjukan koran kompas dan republika.co.id secara sintaksis memiliki perbedaan dalam fokus pemberitaannya. Skrip kedua media massa telah memenuhi unsur 5W+1H. Tematik di koran kompas mengangkat tiga tema sekaligus dalam sebuah isu berita, sementara republika hanya satu tema. Dan secara retoris kedua media memiliki perbedaan cara wartawan menekankan fakta kepada pembaca.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the following things: 1). Principal's leadership style in improving teacher discipline in SD Negeri 2 Kota Subulussalam, 2). Principal's leadership style in improving teacher performance in SD Negeri 2 Kota Subulussalam, 3). Principal's leadership style in improving teacher careers in SD Negeri 2 Kota Subulussalam, 4). To analyze the obstacles faced and the principal's solutions in applying the leadership style at SD Negeri 2 Kota Subulussalam. This study used a qualitative descriptive research method with data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documents. Data analysis techniques use: data reduction, data display, and conclusions or verification. The research location is at SDN 2 Subulussalam, Subulussalam City. The findings of this study are as follows: 1). In an effort to increase the Discipline of PAI teachers at the SDN 2 Subulussalam school, the Principal sets a good example for other teachers in terms of time discipline and rules at school, as well as supervising and controlling each teacher. 2). In improving the performance of PAI teachers at SDN 2 Subulussalam, Subulussalam City, the school principal provides support and motivation to teachers in carrying out their duties and responsibilities. The school principal also supervises, assesses and evaluates teacher performance and provides rewards for achieving teacher performance. 3). Among the programs and things that the Principal does to improve the career and performance of teachers is to provide opportunities for PAI teachers to receive coaching and attend training related to their respective fields, and provide other opportunities in a transparent manner, the principal also supports teachers who continue their Masters and Doctoral studies. 4). Obstacles faced by school principals in implementing leadership styles at SD Negeri 2 Kota Subulussalam include: Some teachers are still lacking time discipline, some teachers are late to school because of damaged infrastructure, do not use teaching tools, violate school rules, are not motivated to improve their performance, do not respond to exemplary from the principal, the lack of school infrastructure. Solutions made by the school principal in overcoming obstacles in increasing teacher professionalism at SDN 2 Subulussalam Subulussalam City include providing encouragement/motivation to teachers through self-help schools, implementing Fingerprint attendance in increasing time discipline for teachers, continuing teacher education through study permits. In addition to submitting requests for assistance to the government in overcoming the shortage of teachers, especially teachers in the field of study by hiring honorary teachers and a shortage of school infrastructure
