Abstract

The use of technology automatically will provide convenience in the delivery of information. In this research, the use of technology can be done using animation to help and increase students' interest in participating in a more efficient learning process. This is done because some of the material learned is sometimes boring for students, especially in learning Geography science learning materials, even today students are less interested in studying Indonesian maps, because at this time the teacher only provides explanations through manual books and immovable drawings, in addition to lack of means and other information media such as pictures and encyclopedias supplied at school. From this problem, the author will research the design of interactive animations in the introduction of Indonesian state maps for multimedia-based school students. The software used in this research is Adobe Professional, Adobe Photoshop, and Wondershare Filmora. The method used in this study is a qualitative method, which is a research method that is more focused on the situation or phenomenon under investigation.

Abstract

Industrial revolution of the 4.0 era, the industry began to touch the virtual world in the form of human, machine, and data connectivity. This term is known as the internet of things. The development of information technology today has an excellent influence on the development of Science. The era of the industrial revolution 4.0 marked by this development has made technology one of the tools that can help humans to achieve their goals. With the development of Information Technology currently has penetrated various sectors, such as the office sector in the field of public services, the service sector is one area to measure general satisfaction. In this field, employees are one of the spearheads that function to carry out their responsibilities. Apart from the rapid and rapid development of Information Technology, employees who provide services still do not have an accurate and comprehensive performance measurement system by community expectations and the vision and strategy of the institution's leadership. For this reason, an evaluation technique or method is needed to evaluate the work results of employees, to get maximum results, one of the methods used is a measurement method with the IT Balanced Scorecard approach. The technique itself is a system that has 4 (four) perspective methods at work, while the system is: User Orientation, Company Contribution, Operational Excellence, Maximum. Expectations with a performance measurement system using the IT Balanced Scorecard method to improve the evaluation and assessment system in performance measurement to be able to produce data that can be used in the management process of improving employee performance in institutions in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to predict student behavior patterns so they can predict based on the number of students. To achieve optimal results, this study uses Artificial Neural Networks with the Backpropagation method. A case study was conducted at the Faculty of Computer Science, X University. The data used is data on the number of students in the academic year two years ago as training data and the school year data is two years after that as testing data. Furthermore, the data are analyzed with several network architecture patterns, and the best design will be chosen to be implemented into the Matlab program. The system results show a correlation between the number of students that occur.

Abstract

At a shipping company or shipping service, that is, the central processing of PT. Pos Indonesia Yogyakarta, there are various kinds of problems that occur, for example, the issue of package delays or even the loss of a package that will be sent both while still at the branch office or while traveling. It can be caused due to poor service delivery or other services. To facilitate the company in overcoming the problems that often occur in package delivery and assist consumers in tracking the whereabouts of packages sent through the company, an expedition system will be applied, namely a system that functions to track or trace specific packages sent by consumers to the shipping company thus the consumer can quickly get information about the packages sent, when and where and how the condition of the box is located. And all existing branch offices of the company can be integrated into the system so that all operational activities of each branch will be recorded in the system database. Thus the author will examine how to make the package expedition system easy to apply for consumers, so consumers do not need to worry or go to the office to ask for the package.

Abstract

The current era of globalization of security needs to be considered because danger can come from anywhere. Likewise, with a computer system, a computer also needs protection, because a lot of data is stored in it, and the information is essential data. Computers and mobile phones are currently widely used by everyone, where a lot of info is stored therein and connected to the internet. Today's internet network has become an essential requirement because all services are on the internet. With the development of internet technology, the data is more easily accessed and also increasingly vulnerable because if it is not protected it will enter various viruses that can cause data to be lost or damaged. This era is an era where viruses have developed rapidly, not just from academic research but have become a common problem for computer users in the world. This loss effect is increasingly becoming with the widespread use of the internet as a global communication channel between computer users around the world, based on CSI / FB survey results. With the development of the virus, the antivirus is needed by technology users. An antivirus is a form of security efforts from unwanted virus attacks. Through the development of internet-based antivirus, the user can easily find out the behavior of the virus and can immediately prevent it, so that the data is saved.

Abstract

A train station is an essential tool, but the services provided to train passengers are still not optimal. At present, there are still some weaknesses, including the arrival and departure of trains that always rely on telephone communication with other station officials. Notification of train arrival will be conveyed by telephone by officers at the station beforehand to the destination station. When receiving an information on entry, the station clerk will close the railroad portal. The process can have a weakness, and if officer negligence occurs, it can cause an accident. Also, for train passengers who will board at the train station, there is no formal notification related to the arrival of the train. This is due to the absence of an automatic operating system at the railroad crossing portal. Because the manual system must use human power or operators to operate open and close railroad crossing portals. So the operator error and the failure of portal operations that can manually lead to the higher possibility of a train accident at the crossing entrance. The above problems can be overcome by implementing a portal closure system automatically. With an automated portal system, the portal will automatically close if there will be a train crossing the crossing. And the portal will automatically reopen if the passenger has passed the bridge. So it is expected that with this automatic portal closure system, traffic accidents due to not closing the portal when the train crosses the bridge can be avoided.

Abstract

Better computer skills in various fields, better in the field of image processing through a process of increasing image quality that is once received. Help empower the computer at any time needs to be improved. Image Quality Improvement can be made with various techniques; one of them is by Improving Image Quality with Image Brightness and Image Sharpening methods. The process begins with capturing images followed using increasing competence, image contrast, and sharpening. The results of image processing are generated by changes in the resulting image and changes in image histograms.

Abstract

The number 1 diseases that take up to 17 million lives annually are Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs).  CVDs mistreatment would increase the risk dramatically to the point that saving the patient deemed impossible. The dataset used in this research originated from RSUP DR. M Djamil Padang from January 2014, until July 2014 with 426 entries and seven columns, the data also digitized in CSV form from the log journal with a lot of wrong data input because the data has not been standardized yet. The proposed method analyses the pattern of patient diagnosis, age, insurance, origin, and gender using Support Vector Machine (SVM) and predicts the appropriate treatment for the patient. In the process,  SVM drew a hyperplane for each target class in the transformed training set by the radial basis function (RBF), and classify the target data. Simulation results on CVDs treatment prediction show 50% accuracy, which then improved by Gaussian Process optimizer and the score increased to 66%.
