Abstract

Dependence on technology is complicated to avoid and very difficult to separate in the digital era. It impacts the education system, especially in Indonesian higher education. Higher education institutions in Indonesia have begun to implement information and communication technology-based systems within the campus environment. Encouraged from all academic communities in higher education who expect comfort so that the importance of the role of technology. Smart Campus comes as a result of a system that uses technology and the internet as an intermediary. Smart Campus is expected to be a campus that can educate students with IT-managed methods. The smart campus is a campus that combines, combines, combines, and implements teaching and learning processes using information technology. So that all systems that support the teaching and learning process also use technology. The smart campus system can be implemented starting from the new student admission system, campus academic system, online examination system, library information system, and tuition payment system. With the smart campus, the system will reduce errors in doing work. Of course, it will also reduce the costs to be incurred by the campus.

Abstract

­The number 1 diseases that take up to 17 million lives annually are Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs).  CVDs mistreatment would increase the risk dramatically to the point that saving the patient deemed impossible. The dataset used in this research originated from RSUP DR. M Djamil Padang from January 2014, until July 2014 with 426 entries and seven columns, the data also digitized in CSV form from the log journal with a lot of wrong data input because the data has not been standardized yet. The proposed method analyses the pattern of patient diagnosis, age, insurance, origin, and gender using Support Vector Machine (SVM) and predicts the appropriate treatment for the patient. In the process,  SVM drew a hyperplane for each target class in the transformed training set by the radial basis function (RBF), and classify the target data. Simulation results on CVDs treatment prediction show 50% accuracy, which then improved by Gaussian Process optimizer and the score increased to 66%.

Abstract

Paper ini dibuat untuk memberikan gambaran secara general dalam proses transformasi Ekstract, Transform, dan Load (ETL) sebagai data masukan untuk multidimensional modeling data mart dan data warehouse. Artikel ini dibuat dengan mengimplementasikan database dari Online Transaction Processing (OLTP) kedalam database Online Analytical processing (OLAP). Pada penelitian ini digunakan database classicmodels yang bersifat open source dari Mysql.Metode yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah, dengan melakukan proses Extract, Transform danLoad (ETL) pada data classic models yang dilakukan dengan cara melakukan ketiga proses tersebut (ETL) dari database OLTP kedalam database OLAP.Luaran dari penelitian ini adalah terbntuknya fact oder berisi data dari semua data dimension yang dbiuat untuk data classic model menggunakan perngkat lunak Pentaho Data Intergarion (Kettle) dan database management system MySQL

Abstract

Perekaman suara biasa dilakukan oleh beberapa orang untuk merekam suara tertentu. suara yang direkam tersebut biasanya memiliki informasi didalamnya yang akan ditujukan atau disampaikan kepada banyak pihak. Namun, terdapat adanya permasalahan yang sering terjadi ketika melakukan perekaman suara, yaitu adalanya noise atau gangguan suara yang menyebabkan kualitas dari hasil perekaman suara kurang baik. Permasalahan tersebut dapat diatasi dengan menerapkan metode Fast Fourier Transform untuk menghilangkan noise yang terdapat pada data suara hasil rekaman. Perhitungan dari metode Fast Fourier Transform digunakan untuk mencari nilai rata-rata dan nilai ambang batas. Selanjutnya menghilangkan nilai yang berada dibawah nilai ambang batas karena dianggap sebagai noise. Hasil dari penelitian ini merupakan menampilkan sebuah grafik yang menunjukkan data suara hasil rekaman sebelum di-filter dan sesudah di-filter.

Abstract

Internet merupakan produk terknologi yang menandai era revolusi industri 4.0 dimana telah merubah cara berkomunikasi dengan jenis interaksi sosial yang baru. Pada 27 Agustus 2010 gunung sinabung meletus dan banyak kerugian dirasakan. Gunung tangkuban perahu meletus pada 26 Juli 2019 pukul 15.48. Belajar dari meletusnya gunung Sinabung yang merugikan maka memunculkan empati dari masyarakat, bantuan moral dan spiritual. Untuk mendapatkan data twiter dari website twitter maka dapat dilakukan proses crawling data yang dicari. Dari hasil crawling twetter akan didapatkan data user berupa total tweet, total follower, total likes, website, source, bio profile, id, akun, nama, dan lokasi. Kemudian dilakukan proses pengelompokkan/clustering menggunakan metode K-Means Clustering untuk mengetahui kelompok antusias dari netizen sebelum, ketika, dan pasca kejadian bencana. Hasil yang didapat adalah jumlah tweet sebelum gunung meletus yaitu 11.324 Tweet ketika meletus 35 tweet, dan pasca meletus 26 Juli 2019 yaitu 1.170 tweet dan 26-29 juli 2019 yaitu 1.512 tweet. Tingkat antusias sebelum kejadian 6.572 antusias dan 4.696 sangat antusias. Setelah gunung meletus 812 dan 798 antusias; dan 346 dan 575 sangat antusias. Tingkat antusias netizen sangat tinggi pada sebelum kejadian maka dapat dilakukan aktivitas sosial yang dapat dimanfaatkan pasca kejadian bencana sehingga dapat membantu secara langsung setelah kejadian bencana terjadi.

Abstract

Garifta Mango is obtained from the combination of the best quality local mangoes. Garifta mango is said to have a sweeter taste variant than the quality of other types of mango. However, when choosing Red Garifta mangoes with a good level of ripeness, we are often confused. Sometimes Red Garifta mango entrepreneurs still use manual methods to distinguish the ripeness of Red Garifta mangoes. Therefore, this study carried out a systematic design using the HSI color space transformation method. We used 15 Red Garifta mangoes as test data and 30 Red Garifta mangoes as training data in the testing phase. After doing the test, we get the accuracy, precision, and recall of 15 test data, respectively 80%, 80%, and 87%. From this percentage value, it can be concluded that the method we use can be used to detect the ripeness of the Red Garifta mango fruit.

Abstract

This study discusses the detection of medium voltage insulator cracks using object detection technology. This study uses medium voltage ceramic insulator image data at the ULP Daya Waste Material Warehouse. Ceramic insulator image data is categorized into good and damaged conditions. Preprocessing involves labeling, dividing train data, validation, and testing, and exporting data to Pascal VOC format. MobileNetV2 is implemented on Google Collab to train the object detection model. The evaluation of the model accuracy is in the COCO matrix, while the performance graph shows that the model can read objects well because the reading curve is in line with the smooth curve. Furthermore, this model is applied in creating an Android application that uses the device's camera to detect objects in real-time. This application processes images, converts from YUV to RGB, and performs object detection using the trained model. The detection results are displayed with bounding boxes and labels on the camera reviewer, namely the good class with a reading value of 1.0, the damaged class with a reading value of 0.67 and the background 1.0. This application also tracks detected objects and updates the display according to the detection results.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the problems of teachers and students in teaching the Quran. This research uses qualitative methods with a case study approach (case study design), data sources were taken from forty-two informants through in-depth interviews who were selected using techniques purposive sampling. All interview results were then analyzed thematically using Miles and Huberman qualitative data analysis. The findings show that there are twelve problematic findings for teachers and students in learning the Alquran. Teacher problems include the lack of Al-Quran tahsin activities and training for Al-Quran teachers, lack of competence of Al-Quran teachers, teachers having difficulty managing time, large capacity of students in the class, differences in students' backgrounds, difficulty in managing and conditioning students in the classroom, and the lack of welfare of Al-Quran teachers. Problems with students include the low level of focus or concentration of students in learning, lack of discipline among students, lack of enthusiasm for students in learning. Problems with facilities and infrastructure include lack of facilities and infrastructure such as the Alquran, lack of tables for the Alquran. The results of this research can be used as a basis and reference for future researchers to study problems related to this or issues that are different but have similar context and intent.

Abstract

This learning activity using the word connection game method is carried out as a step to motivate children in developing their imagination in order to increase vocabulary and can practice language skills. This game encourages children to think about finding new words as directed by their teacher so that the activity is fun for early childhood. This study aims to determine how the application of the word connection method game media in developing children's cognitive abilities at PAUD Ar-Rahim in Kuranji Village, Padang City. This study uses a qualitative method. Data collection techniques use observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Data analysis used is qualitative data analysis with data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing steps. The results of the study show that the word connection game has an effect on early literacy as well as on the self-confidence of early childhood. Therefore, it is recommended for schools, especially teachers, to implement the word connection game in order to achieve effective results so that children are happier when learning while playing. From the results of the study at PAUD Ar-Rahim after the application of the word connection game method was able to improve children's literacy and language skills towards their self-confidence and also improve children's cognitive abilities.
