Abstract

In this study was about a comparison of geographic factors towards the characterization of petung bamboo in Indonesia and the Philippines. Bamboo is one of the plants that has advantages in the field of technical materials based on developments in composite materials and is found in various regions. In general, bamboo has lignin and cellulose, where the morphology and nature of both bamboos are not the same from different countries. Therefore,material testing was carried out on each Indonesian and Filipino petung bamboo using material characterization testing methods. The process of Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) was carried out to measure calorimetry with the yield of melting point in Philippine petung bamboo at 341ºC which is lower than the melting point in Indonesian petung bamboo which is 354.34ºC. In this DSC test, quantitative and qualitative results were obtainedin the form of phase changes, melting, and transition temperatures that occurred. Then an Energy Dispersive Spectrometer (EDS) was analyzed and the carbon content of cellulose and lignin was higher in Indonesian petung bamboo, respectively 65.29 wt.% And 66.05 wt.%. The morphology of bamboo shows that the fibers and matrices present in Philippine petung bamboo are denser than those of Indonesian petung bamboo. The highest peak value based on X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) is found in Philippine petung bamboo at 2? of 34.49 and cubic phase.

Abstract

Saat ini, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) atau teknologi komunikasi dan informasimerupakan sesuatu yang sudah menjadi bagian yang tidak terpisahkan dari kehidupan manusia, terutama merekayang hidup di kota besar. Teknologi komunikasi dan informasi sudah menjadi sebuah kebutuhan, salah satunyaadalah kebutuhan dihargai dan dipandang dalam kerja maupun kehidupan sehari-hari pada umumnya.Ketersediaannya juga sudah mencapai pada hal-hal yang paling rumit dan sederhana dari pengiriman,penyimpanan, pengolahan dan pengiriman data dengan kemampuan jangkauan yang sangat luas. DinasPenanaman Modal dan Perizinan Terpadu (DPMPT) Kota Balikpapan adalah salah satu instansi pemerintahanyang telah menerapkan teknologi sebagai pendukung layanan dalam proses bisnisnya salah satunya adalahdibuatnya SiCantik. Belum adanya pengukuran kinerja dan evaluasi penerapan teknologi informasi padaSiCantik dan untuk membantu DPMPT mengevaluasi serta mengembangkan teknologi informasi yangdigunakan, menjadi latar belakang dilakukannya penelitian pada Sistem divisi IT di DPMPT Kota Balikpapan.Beberapa kesimpulan yang ditemukan yaitu, telah dilakukannya Evaluasi Kesuksesan SiCantik menggunakanInformation Systems Success Model (ISSM), dan didapatkan hasil wawancara dengan pihak DPMPT sertapengolahan data evaluasi dengan menggunakan metode penyebaran kuesioner dengan jumlah respondensebanyak 47 responden yang merupakan user dari SiCantik, terdiri dari 17 pegawai DPMPT dan 30 pengunjungDPMPT. Setelah melakukan pengolahan data, didapatkan 4 usulan strategi untuk masing-masing variabel.

Abstract

Bulk Metallic Glass (BMG) memiliki sifat mekanik, magnetik, kimia dan fisik yang berbeda dengan paduan polikristalin karena susunan internal atomnya yang tidak teratur. Sehingga, BMG memiliki kekuatan mekanik yang baik, kekerasan yang tinggi, ketahanan terhadap aus dan korosi yang tinggi, dan kehalusan permukaan yang baik. Berdasarkan sifat tersebut, BMG memiliki kelayakan yang menjanjikan di bidang industry. Dalam penelitian ini, metode pengecoran cetakan di tembaga digunakan untuk menyiapkan BMG paduan Cu45Zr45Al5Ag5. Paduan dileburkan ulang dengan pendinginan super cepat menggunakan mesin pendingin di bawah temperatur -25 oC. Dengan metode pengecoran cetakan di tembaga, sampel ukuran besar berbentuk batang dipotong dengan diameter 2 mm hingga 4 mm dan panjang 30 mm. Batang kemudian dipotong lagi menjadi spesimen berbentuk cakram. Untuk memastikan apakah sampel adalah BMG atau tidak, sampel dievaluasi dengan Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Energy Dispersion Spectrometer (EDS), Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), Electron Probe X-ray Micro Analyzer (EPMA), dan X -ray Difraction (XRD). Hasilnya dibahas dalam penelitian ini. Kata Kunci: Bulk Metallic Glasses, Cu45Zr45Al5Ag5, Pengecoran Cetakan di Tembaga.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini menyajikan perancangan dan analisis sebuah sensor arus yang terdiri dari rangkaian penyearah gelombang penuh dengan filter kapasitor, pembagi tegangan, buffer, dan penguat diferensial. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengukur nilai arus pada sensor adalah dengan menetapkan salah satu resistor pada rangkaian pembagi tegangan sebagai resistor referensi (Rs). Metode ini didasarkan pada hukum Ohm dalam menentukan nilai arus yang melalui suatu jalur. Hasil percobaan yang dilakukan telah membuktikan teori yang disajikan.   Kata Kunci: metode resistif, pengukuran arus, rangkaian sensor arus.

Abstract

Coal is one of the energy sources that widely used for electricity, the age of coal reserves only remain 56 years, so it is necessary to make a study to reduce the consumption rate of coal with make an improvement on boiler efficiency which use tangentially fired boiler because it has good combustion. There are a problem in this type of boiler such as unbalance temperature and temperature deviation in superheaters and reheaters of the boiler. This research is made to study the effect of yaw angle modification to temperature in boiler. Method that used in this research is Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD). Coal yaw angle modification in this research are +5º, 0º, -5º, -10º, dan -15º. Coal yaw angle modification have an effect to temperature distribution, wider yaw angle then larger the temperature deviation. The best coal yaw angle configuration is at -5º because it has the least temperature deviation on the upper furnace which minimize the risk of overheat on superheaters and reheaters.   Keywords: CFD, yaw angle, tangentially fired boiler

Abstract

As a petroleum-producing country, Indonesia has a very important role in supplying national and international petroleum needs. The distribution of oil by sea raises the risk of spills and harms the marine environment, especially for marine life. Most oil spills in the marine environment can form a thin layer on the surface due to the movement of wind, waves, and currents. In this study, the oil spill movement model used the Shallow Water Equation (SWE) model and the equation for the movement of oil spills. The SWE model consists of the equation of mass and momentum derived from the law of conservation of mass which is derived into the equation of continuity and the law of conservation of momentum which is derived into the equation of conservation of momentum. In this model, ocean currents are affected by several disturbances in the form of wind gusts and friction with the bottom. The model is solved numerically through simulation using the finite volume method. Discretization is done by using a staggered grid approach, where the mass and momentum variables are discretized in different cells. From the simulation results, it appears that the movement of oil spills is influenced by wind direction and current. The simulation results also found that the speed of the movement of oil spills has increased in the early times, but then gradually.

Abstract

   Selama ini sampah selalu dianggap sebagai masalah yang lazim ditemukan pada wilayah perkotaan. Secara umum tata kelola sampah hanya memindahkan sampah dari tempat penampungan sementara (TPS) ke tempat pemrosesan akhir (TPA). Perkembangan teknologi yang semakin maju memberikan solusi alternatif pengolahan sampah menjadi sumber energi. Penerapan teknologi pengolahan sampah menjadi sumber energi terbarukan yaitu Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Sampah (PLTSa) Kota Samarinda merupakan kota padat penduduk yang menghasilkan produksi sampah yang cukup besar. Sampah organik yang ditimbun akan mengalami proses dekomposisi secara anaerobik sehingga menghasilkan gas yang disebut dengan gas landfill yang dapat di konversikan menjadi energi listrik. Pada penelitian ini untuk mengkonversi gas landfill menggunakan teknologi gas engine dengan tipe janbacher J320 GS yang dapat meghasilkan listrik sebesar 1.063kW. Gas landfill yang dihasilkan pada TPA Sambutan Kota Samarinda mencapai nilai 684.693,866 pada tahun 2019 dan akan meningkat setiap tahunnya sampai dengan tahun 2034 dengan energi listrik yang dihasilkan 2.822.107,61 kWh pada tahun 2019 dan meningkat sampai dengan tahun 2034 dan Biaya investasi untuk pembangunan PLTSa yaitu sebesar Rp. 25.092.450.601 dengan analisis evaluasi investasi NPV= Rp.17.539.868.600, IRR= 19%, BCR= 1,672 dan PB= 3,4 Tahun. Dari hasil evaluasi tersebut diperoleh bahwa perencanaan PLTSa TPA Sambutan di Kota Samarinda dapat memenuhi kriteria kelayakan untuk dibangun.

Abstract

The Minapolitan area in Tabalong District is one of the predominant areas from the point of economic interest based on Tabalong District's Urban Land Use Plan 2014-2034. The Minapolitan is the conception of fisheries economic development which it functions is in economy that consists of production, processing, and marketing the fisheries commodity, services, and other supporting activities. The fishery activities in Tabalong District are occurring mostly in Tabalong and Pemayaran River. The purpose of this research is to acknowledge the compatibility of water quality conditions based on water temperature, brightness, dissolved oxygen (DO), acidity level (pH), ammonia (NH3), and nitrite (NO2). The data analysis instrument is using descriptive through comparison of the current water quality condition upon the water quality standard of freshwater fisheries. The result shows that the water quality in Sungai Tabalong and Sungai Pemayaran consecutively for water temperature 28 oC and 30 oC, brightness 28 cm and 26 cm, dissolved oxygen (DO) 4,2 mg/L and 4 mg/L, acidity level (pH) 7, ammonia 3,33 mg/L and 0,25 mg/L and nitrite <0,3 mg/L. Overall the whole fish in the river of Tabalong District still could survive as well as the fisheries activities. However, controlling the activity around the river and the implementation of aquaculture technology is required to intensify the water quality.

Abstract

Tabalong Regency based on Regional spatial Plan (RTRW) of South Kalimantan Regency 2014-2034 has the potential to be developed into a Minapolitan region. In principle, Minapolitan is a fishery program that seeks to synergize the production of raw materials, processing and marketing in a series of major activities in one area or region with the concept of involving the entire community in It. With the increase in the population of Tabalong Regency, it makes the need to increase the facilities available in the area as a factor in driving service and activities of fisheries by looking at the area that is the center of growth For the area that has a level of facilities that have a lack of the hierarchy in each district by conducting a system analysis of service center with the results of which 12 sub-districts that have the Minapolitan activities of Tanjung District become The centre of Minapolitan activities with Murung Pudak Sub-district became its sub-center of activities. Abstract

Kutai Kartanegara Regency has 7 subdistricts which are included in the Minapolitan area, including Marang Kayu, Muara Badak, Loa Kulu, Loa Janan, Samboja, Muara Jawa and Anggana. In developing the Minapolitan Straegis Region, it can increase fish farming income so as to produce equality in each region with better quality of life and welfare. In carrying out the development, it is necessary to have a region or sub-district which is the center of Minsan Metropolitan services, in determining the Minapolitan Region Service Center in Kutai Kartanegara Regency, a scalogram analysis (Guttman Scale) is performed to determine the areas that have complete facilities related to Minapolitan and Marshall Central Index Index analysis ( ISM) to determine the service center of the Kutai Kartanegara District Minapolitan Area. Based on the two analyzes, a service center in the Kutai Kartanegara District was obtained, namely Anggana District with the type and number of complete facilities related to the Minapolitan Area. Based on these results it is possible to develop the area in Anggana Subdistrict which is the Minapolitan Area Service Center of Kutai Kartanegara Regency.
