Abstract

Mahasiswa dituntut memiliki softskill disamping kompetensi intelektual dan professional (hardskill). Hal ini dikarenakan pendidikan bertujuan mengolah pikir suatu mahasiswa, baik untuk kecerdasan intelektual, emosional maupun spiritual. Saat ini, dunia pasca kuliah percaya bahwa sumber daya manusia yang unggul dan handal adalah seseorang yang tidak hanya mahir dalam hardskill saja, melainkan juga dalam aspek softskill. Oleh karena itu, setiap institusi mengeluarkan surat keterangan pendamping ijazah (SKPI) untuk membantu mahasiswa dalam menghadapi dunia pasca kuliah. Surat keterangan pendamping ijazah atau kerap disebut dengan SKPI adalah dokumen resmi yang dikeluarkan oleh institusi perguruan tinggi. SKPI memuat hal-hal yang mencakup capaian akademik atau kualifikasi dari pendidikan tinggi bergelar. Dalam uraian yang telah dipaparkan sebelumnya, terusul suatu gagasan untuk membuat website sistem informasi surat keterangan pendamping ijazah. Studi kasus penelitian ini dilakukan pada Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (ITK). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi perencanaan, perancangan sistem dan implementasi sistem. Website ini bertujuan untuk mempermudah mahasiswa dalam penginputan file pendukung SKPI. Selain itu, tenaga kependidikan juga mudah untuk mengawasi mahasiswa dalam pencapaian berkas-berkas yang dibutuhkan untuk melengkapi SKPI di ITK. Hal ini, dapat mempermudah dan mempercepat kinerja baik dari segi mahasiswa maupun tenaga kependidikan di ITK. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa website yang dapat menyimpan berkas-berkas sertifikat setiap mahasiswa untuk mengajukan SKPI.

Abstract

The XYZ City Trade Office is a government organization that is engaged in regulating the stability of staple food through trade activities in XYZ City. This study aims to identify the existing business processes at the XYZ City Trade Office, in addition to being identified, this study will also conduct an analysis and improvement and redesign of the business processes currently being implemented by the XYZ City Trade Office. The steps taken to identify business processes are by conducting interviews related to the duties and functions of each entity and the Office to stakeholders in the XYZ City Trade Office. The methodology used to identify, describe, analyze and redesign business processes is the Business Process Life Cycle (BPM Lifecycle). The identification results are 36 business processes, and 3 of them are export business processes, import business processes, and processes Business Can Send and Evaluate. In all three business processes further evaluation and analysis are carried out. The analysis and evaluation is to first describe the business process in the form of business process modeling notation (BPMN) using bizagi modeller, then measure the quality of business processes, and analyze weaknesses, and compare with the duties and functions of the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia, so that improvements to the process for the third the business process. Improvements for the Export and Import business processes are by adding oversight processes at the shipping stage, and business process improvements Conducting Shipment and Evaluation is by removing the activities of Giving Delivery News.   Keywords: Business Process, BPMN, BPM Lifecycle, Bizagi Modeller

Abstract

Increase in the number of vehicles, especially cars can increase the chances of accidents. Accidents happen because caused by several factors, including human error, environmental and technical vehicle. Human error factor caused by the driver of the vehicle less focus so less appropriate in decision making at the time of driving. Therefore, vehicles that have technology that can reduce the occurrence of accidents. One technology of a potential car vehicle to be developed in order to reduce the number of accidents is the technology of the brakingsystem. Car braking system is the most important safety system that it has. This paper provides an automatic car braking system using Mamdani Fuzzy Logic Control. This car braking system consist of two inputs and one output. Inputs are car position and car velocity. Car position represents the distance of the car from the obstacle detected and velocity represents the velocity of the car towards the obstacle. This output is brake that represents the car force to stop the car. The inputs use five membership funtions and the output use three membership functions. The car braking system designed uses twenty five rules. Performance analysis of the braking system is carried out on the braking system's ability to avoid obstacles. The result is the vehicle can brake at a distance 30m vehicle from the obstacle. The vehicle braking system began to brake the vehicle at 2.5 s with 9263 N up to 3.7 s.

Abstract

Kursi roda ini dikhususkan pada anak-anak, dimana berat badan anak dan berat robot kursi roda tidak melebihi 23 kg. Pipa PVC yang digunakan adalah jenis AW, schedule 40, dan schedule 80. Diameter pipa dibatasi pada diameter ½ in,3/4 in,1 in,1 1/4 in untuk masing-masing jenis pipa PVC. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menentukan dimensi dari pipa PVC yang aman digunakan pada bobot yang telah ditentukan, berdasarkan analisis defleksi. Batas defleksi yang diizinkan untuk penggunaan pipa ini sebesar 0.938mm. Metode pendekatan teoritis dan menggunakan program simulasi LISA digunakan pada penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dimensi pipa yang aman digunakan adalah pipa PVC jenis schedule 40 dan schedule 80. Defleksi PVC 1 1/4 in schedule 40 berdasarkan perhitungan teoritis sebesar 0.7614 mm dan 0.7610 mm berdasarkan simulasi LISA. Sedangkan PVC 1 1/4 in schedule 80 memiliki defleksi sebesar 0,6131 mmberdasarkan perhitungan teoritis, dan 0,6128 mm didapatkan dari hasil simulasi LISA. Dari penelitian ini, dipilih Pipa PVC 1 1/4 in schedule 40 sebagai material dalam perancangan dan pembuatan frame kursi roda.

Abstract

One of data grouping process method is k-harmonic clustering method (KHM) which has a relatively short and simple process. However, it has a weakness at cluster center point. Randomly formed cluster center point causes difficulty to converge solutions. One way to solve the problem at the cluster center point requires a method which has a global solution for KHM. The method is Improved artificial bee colony (IABC), improvement of artificial bee colony (ABC) method based on behavior patterns of honey bee colony in food searching process. Advantage of the IABC method is able to have more optimum global solution. This research proposes a new method of clustering using improved artificial bee colony and K-Harmonic means (IABC-KHM) to optimize the center point in clusters that lead to global solution. In this study, the IABC is functioned for finding the most optimum cluster center point for the data clustering process using KHM. Furthermore, the performance test of the IABC-KHM clustering method is compared with ABC and ABC-KHM methods on three different datasets. The result of mean value of best function of IABC-KHM method of Iris dataset is 152,87, Contraceptive Method Choice dataset is 918,54, and Wine dataset is 31,01. Moreover, the result of the average value of the best F-Measure method IABC-KHM Iris dataset is 0.90, the Contraceptive Method Choice dataset is 0.41, the Wine dataset is 0.95. To conclude, IABC-KHM method has successfully optimized the position of cluster center point that directs the cluster result which has global solution.

Abstract

Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (ITK) merupakan salah satu perguruan tinggi negeri baru yang berlokasi di tengah hutan di Balikpapan. Berdasarkan data Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi dan Geofisika, kecepatan angin rata-rata di sekitar ITK berkisar antara 5 km/h – 18 km/h. Potensi angin yang melimpah dapat dimanfaatkan untuk merancang turbin angin yang sesuai yaitu turbin angin tipe horizontal. Perancangan turbin angin sumbu horizontal dengan tiga sudu dilakukan dengan variasi besar sudut serang untuk menentukan tingkat efisiensi turbin angin. Variasi besar sudut serang adalah 50, 100, dan 250. Pengujian turbin angin dilakukan pada beberapa tingkat kecepatan angin diantaranya 3.8 m/s, 4.3 m/s, 5.8 m/s. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa daya listrik terbesar dihasilkan pada pengujian turbin angin sumbu horizontal dengan variasi sudut serang 250 yaitu sebesar 118.7 mW.
