Abstract

The importance of the existence of a college is inseparable from the quality of the college. To achieve good quality, there are at least three components that must be possessed by a university, the first individual is both the lecturer and the education personnel, the two are the managers such as the head of the study program, the dean to the rector, and the third is the system within the institution itself. This study is motivated by the importance of the quality of lecturers, especially the professional competence they have for the achievement of good quality from UIN Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau. The purpose of this study is to describe the state of professional competence lecturers Faculty of Tarbiyah and teacher UIN Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau. This study is a descriptive analysis conducted through survey method by spreading a questionnaire to collect research data. Population in this research is all lecturer of Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training UIN Suska Riau, As for the number of population studied are as many as 189 people, consisting of 160 permanent civil servants and 29 lecturers non civil servants. While the sample taken in the study amounted to 65 people. Based on the result of the study, it can be concluded that the professional competence of lecturer by using subvariabel duty and lecturer's responsibility based on seven indicators, they are: conducting education, conducting study, implementing community service, increasing and developing academic qualification, objective acting, And maintain and nurture the unity and unity of the nation shows that of 65 lecturers, there are 58 lecturers or 89.23% who have professional competence in the good category. This is also indicated by the average score for the professional competence of this lecturer is 83.74 or is in the good category.

Abstract

Self-reliance in students will affect student achievement in school. So that there is an effort made to encourage student independence in learning. This study aims to describe the independence of students in the learning process in grade III elementary school negeri 1 Banda Aceh. The approach of this research is qualitative approach and descriptive research type. The subjects of this study are students of SD Negeri 1 Banda Aceh amounted to 28 people. Data collection was done by observation technique. Data analysis techniques through data reduction, present data, and draw conclusions. The results showed that students' independence consists of self-confidence, self-employed, time-honored, competing to advance, responsible and have the ability to make decisions. Independence that is in the good category is confident, able to work alone, respect the time, have the desire to compete to move forward. While the category is good enough is as follows responsible and take decisions. In growing the attitude of student independence teachers should be able to improve all aspects of the attitude of independence, especially on the attitude of responsible and make decisions. The development of self-reliance in students can be done by developing a democratic teaching-learning process, encouraging children to actively participate in decision-making, giving children the freedom to explore the environment, encouraging students to curiosity, not discriminating one child to another, Good and intimate relationships with children.

Abstract

The state of poverty is generally measured by income levels. The income of a household can be derived from three sources: the effort, the work, and the acquisition of the asset portion. Very few poor households have income-generating assets. The first source of income, which is to try with a very small scale and/or work as a laborer, these two things are most likely to be improved, especially for those who really want to work and try. As the organizer of the government is obliged to carry out the mandate of the Act to alleviate poverty. Efforts made especially by local governments are set out in strategic programs to tackle poverty. Plans to tackle poverty and create employment opportunities have been undertaken by governments together with communities through the development and implementation of various poverty reduction programs. The program includes good efforts through the provision of food, health and education services, expansion of employment opportunities, agricultural development, provision of revolving funds as venture capital, construction of basic facilities and basic facilities and business assistance. The government has been working hard to tackle poverty and reduce unemployment. This is realized through the implementation of poverty alleviation programs, especially community empowerment programs and community self-reliance programs through business assistance and credit/working capital assistance.

Abstract

Language learning is a communication skill in various communication contexts. Learning English is essentially learning communication. Therefore, language learning is directed to improve the learner's ability to communicate, whether oral or written. The most basic and most necessary language elements are: vocabulary, pronunciation, simple grammar, and simple conversation. In addition to the elements of the language, one thing that should always be remembered by an English teacher is the importance of creating a comfortable situation and generate interest and motivation to learn English. Therefore, when children learn English from the beginning, they should learn in a pleasant situation by competent teachers, so that it can be a motivation and their capital to learn English at a more advanced level. Some of the relevant English learning methods for basic level are: Total Physical Response (TPR), The Reading Method, Songs and games, dan Field Study.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) produce a SETS kit that is feasible to the creative thinking of Elementary School (2) find out the effectiveness of the SETS kit to the creative thinking. This study is a research and development refering to the opinion of Borg Gall. The design of learning kits consists of 9 steps, including (1) research and information collection; (2) planning; (3) developing preliminary form of draft product; (4) preliminary field testing; (5) main product revision; (6) main field testing; (7) operational product testing; (8) operational field testing; and (9) final product revision. Subjects were students of Elementary School 3 Kota Fajar. The results show that the learning kit is effective to creative thinking of students according to the material expert and learning expert with excellent ratings category. Based on the result show that there are significant differences in creative thinking of students who take the study with SETS  kits with those who do not use learning kits.

Abstract

The study is titled “The Ability to Write Poetry Free of Grade V Students of Elementary Schools Negeri Lamreung Aceh Besar”. The problem formulation of this study is “How the Ability to Write Poetry Free of Grade V Students of Elementary Schools Negeri Lamreung Aceh Besar?”. This study aims to determine The Ability to Write Poetry Free of Grade V Students of Elementary Schools Negeri Lamreung Aceh Besar. The hypothesis of this study is the Ability to Write Poetry Free of Grade V Students of Elementary Schools Negeri Lamreung Aceh Besar still not enough. The approach used in this approach is quantitative. The type of research is descriptive statistics that serves to describe or give an idea of the object under study through sample data or population as is, without doing analysis and make conclusions that apply to the public. The sample of this study is Grade V Students of Elementary Schools Negeri Lamreung Aceh Besar which amounted to 21 students. Data collection techniques used in this study is a test. From the data obtained, it is known that the ability of grade V students in writing poetry to reach less category with an average value of 51,381 (topography); 11,429 (diction); 11,751 (images); 9,762 (concrete words); 9,476 (style of language); and 4,905 (rhyme). Based on student learning outcomes proves that the hypothesis of this study which states that the ability to write poetry is free of grade V students of Elementary Schools Negeri Lamreung Aceh Besar acceptable.

Abstract

Character education is a system of inculcating character values to the citizens of the school that includes the components of knowledge, awareness or willingness, and actions to implement those values. Character education can be interpreted as “the deliberate use of all dimensions of school life to foster optimal character development”. In character education in school especially on IPS/Kn learning, All components (stakeholders) must be involved, including the components of education itself, that is, the content of the IPS/Kn curriculum, IPS/Kn learning process and IPS/Kn assessment, Handling or management of subjects, school management, implementation of activities or co-curricular activities, empowerment of infrastructure, financing, and work ethic of all school/neighborhood residents. So with the combination of IPS/PKn learning By instilling character values can be oriented to the formation of the child as a whole human being. The quality of the students becomes superior not only in the cognitive aspect, but also in the character. Children who excel in the character will be able to face all the problems and challenges in life both social environment as the main target of social studies and the environment of the nation and state as the main target of learning Civics (Kn).

Abstract

Integrated learning is a learning model that has meaningful benefits for learners in everyday life. Integrated learning implemented in elementary schools will color a comprehensive process and learning outcomes. For that purpose, the preparation, planning, execution and assessment is a unified learning system. The role of teachers in the success of integrated learning in primary schools requires careful planning, the execution of the learners' fun, and a comprehensive assessment of the attitudes, knowledge and skills learned by learners. The integrated learning model uses an inter-subject approach. This model is an approach of integration between topics by combining concepts in math, science, language and art and social knowledge. This model is implemented by combining the subjects (interdisciplinary), setting priority of subject matter, skills, concepts and attitudes that are interrelated in some subjects. To create a theme, the teacher must first select the concept of several subjects, then be linked in a theme to cover several subjects, in a themed learning package.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa melalui penerapan metode Hpnotaching pada mata pelajaran IPS siswa kelas V SD Nurul Ijtihad Pujut Lombok Tengah. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas model  Kemis dan Taggart. Penelitian  dilaksanakan  dalam  dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari 1 kali pertemuan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Lembar observasi digunakan untuk melihat aktivitas guru dan aktivitas siswa sedangkan angket digunakan untuk melihat motivasi belajar siswa. Yang menjadi objek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V MIN 3 SD Nurul Ijtihad Pujut Lombok Tengah.Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode Hypnoteaching dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Peningkatan motivasi  belajar  siswa  dilihat  dari  peningkatan   jumlah  siswa  yang mencapai nilai kategori  cukup tinggi dengan persentase sebesar 40 % dan kategori tinggi dengan persentase sebear 60 % pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 30 % kategori tinggi dan 70 % kategori paling tinggi disiklus ke II, sedangkan    rata-rata motivasi belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 28 menjadi 41,6 pada siklus II, sehingga dari hasil rata-rata motivasi belajar siswa meningkat menjadi 13,6 % pada siklus ke II.
