Abstract

Currently, online media has become a favorite for brands to introduce their products to the public. However, social media users pay little attention to advertisements and social media users block advertisements or avoid advertisements to maintain their privacy. This research aims to examine the factors that influence attention to advertising and avoidance of advertising. The sample in this research is the millennial generation and Generation Z as social media users on Instagram and Facebook. The number of samples in this study was 268 respondents, and the data analysis technique used SEM-PLS. The findings of the research are that ad relevance has a positive effect on attention to social emedia ads, and privacy concerns increase ad avoidance. This study also found that Ad engagement had a positive effect on ad attention and a negative effect on ad avoidance. Ad engagement also mediates the relationship between ad relevance, ad attention, and ad avoidance. It suggests that personalized advertising will further increase consumers' attention to the ad and reduce ad avoidance behavior if consumers are cognitively engaged with the ad.

Abstract

Abstract: The world is perceived to be experiencing an acute food crisis which will continue until 2023. The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia estimated that the upcoming global economic growth will weaken. Drops in the economy can be influenced by the uncertain global financial markets, inflationary pressures, increasing stagflation rate, and geopolitical situations. The problem research is: Does food security have an impact on Indonesia's economic growth? This study adopts real GDP (Y) as a proxy for economic growth; labor force (Lf) as a proxy for labor; Gross Capital formation (CI) as a proxy for capital; food production index (FS) as a proxy for food security; and trade openness (TO) is proxied by the sum of total export and total import divided by real GDP. This study examines and compares the impact of food security on economic growth in Indonesia using VECM method using 30 years of data, ranging from 1991 to 2020. The estimated results signified that food security in Indonesia plays a pivotal role in stimulating economic growth although the level of influence varies.

Abstract

With the high level of turnover intention in Purwokerto type C hospitals, which reaches 15-20% per year, researchers are interested in finding out more about the influence of quality of work life on turnover intention, organizational commitment on turnover intention, and whether there is a mediating effect from organizational commitment to turnover intention. The sampling technique uses convenience sampling. The research was conducted using Partial Least Square analysis. The results of sampling were 128 nurses from 4 type C hospitals in Purwokerto. Distribution is carried out evenly according to the convenience method. The majority of respondents are female. Dominated by special nurses. Age 20-25 years. Has a diploma (D3), and is married. By using a significance level of 5%, the results of the oalysis calculations prove that organizational commitment has a significant negative effect on turnover, quality of work life has a negative but not significant effect on turnover intention, and quality of work life has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. This means that the relationship between quality of work life and nurses' turnover intentions is partially mediated by organizational commitment.
