Abstract

Dessimination of the development of eel fish farming in rural areas with the aimed to increase ability and competitiveness of self-help group through the independence of making pasta feed for eels. Adult teaching methods and the active participation of trainees were used in this dissemination. The results showed that the individual absorption of the material for the dissemination of feed-making technology was still low (<40%), however the absorption of group was high (80%). The material of Good Aquaculture Practise (GAP) can be mastered very well (80%), however export training materials are still low (<30%).

Abstract

The problem of under-five malnutrition is a challenge in improving public health. For infants, growth and development is influenced by the amount of nutrients consumed. Most of these nutritional needs can be met with adequate breastfeeding. Consumption of breast milk, apart from being the main source of energy, also fulfills the needs of protein, vitamins and minerals. Knowledge related to nutrition and breastfeeding is low which is the cause of the practice of exclusive breastfeeding is still low. Nutrition education is an effort to increase the knowledge of the target audience. Nutrition education in lactation classes is an alternative solution to solving the problem of low knowledge of pregnant women. This activity aims to increase knowledge related to breastfeeding through lactation classes so that the target audience is able to carry out good practices and is motivated to provide exclusive breastfeeding. The method used was nutrition education through lectures and discussions with the help of leaflets and flipcharts. The results of the activity evaluation showed that there was an increase in the average knowledge score from 12.07±1.25 to 14.40±0.52 (P < 0.05). Nutrition education in lactation classes increases knowledge of pregnant women.Keywords: Exclusive Breastfeeding, Nutrition Education, Malnutrition, Pregnant Women, Lactation Class

Abstract

Kekurangan gizi pada ibu hamil dapat meningkatkan resiko bayi berat lahir rendah, keguguran, dan kesehatan ibu dan anak. Puskesmas I Sumbang ditemukan ibu hamil dengan anemia 22,70%, KEK 36,56%, adanya pandemi menurunkan kunjungan ibu karena kekhawatiran tertular COVID-19. Tujuan kegiatan menerapkan model networking antara ibu hamil, kelas ibu hamil dan puskesmas serta perguruan tinggi (Unsoed) dalam upaya Optimalisasi Gizi Kehamilan Selama Pandemi Covid 19. Seorang ibu hamil diharapkan siap menjadi ibu hebat selama Covid-19 artinya menerima kehamilan, berusaha menjaga kehamilan dan memenuhi kebutuhan gizi yang optimal selama hamil di  Pandemi Covid 19. Metode kegiatan ini diawali dengan Forum Group Discussion (FGD) dengan mitra (bidan, petugas gizi dan kepala puskesmas Sumbang I) yaitu kesepahaman tentang permasalahan gizi kehamilan di masa pandemic Covid-19 dan merancang media intervensi. Selanjutnya dilakukan edukasi model networking dengan khalayak sasaran ibu hamil dan kader dengan WhatApps Group. Hasil kegiatan ini rata-rata pengetahuan yaitu 7,2 untuk pretest dan meningkat menjadi 9,2 untuk posttest. Ada perbedaan pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah diberikan intervensi pada remaja putri dalam upaya pencegahan anemia, p (value) = 0,017 < α (0,05). Kegiatan ini memberikan stimulan untk meningkatkan kerjasama networking antara pihak puskesmas dengan ibu hamil dan kader dalam mendukung perbaikan gizi ibu hamil.Kata kunci: networking, gizi kehamilan, covid-19

Abstract

Agrowisata merupakan salah satu bentuk pariwisata yang memiliki keunikan setiap wilayahnya. Agrowisata merupakan suatu potensi yang besar di Indonesia, namun dalam pengembangannya masih banyak mengalami hambatan. Salah satu hambatannya adalah sumber daya yang potensial tidak teroptimalkan karena manajemen wisata yang belum matang dan kurangnya edukasi kepada masyarakat tentang strategi manajemen wisata. Salah satu strategi penerapan Community Based Tourism (CBT) pada pengembangan agrowisata. Pemberdayaan masyarakat Desa Sunyalangu dilakukan melalui Program Holistik Pembinaan dan Pemberdayaan Desa. Penelitian ini merupakan pendekatan kualitatif menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan masyarakat terlibat dalam pengembangan wisata di Desa Sunyalangu, namun masih perlu adanya perbaikan dan peningkatan kesadaran untuk memaksimalkan peran masyarakat lokal. Selain itu, pembenahan keorganisasian pengelola wisata yaitu pada Kelompok Sadar Wisata dan kebijakan pemerintah desa perlu untuk mengembangkan agrowisata Desa Sunyalangu.

Abstract

The emergence of Covid-19, which has spread to almost all countries in the world, has had a significant impact in various sectors, one of which is the existence of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM). This pandemic has caused many workers to decrease or even lose their income, thus affecting the level of consumption and purchasing power of the people. This causes a decline in people's purchasing power for consumer goods and puts pressure on producers and sellers. This impact is clearly felt by the business actors of wet cakes in Banjarejo Village, Rejotangan District, Tulungagung Regency, East Java. The existence of the Back to Village Real Work Lecture program (KKN BTV) at the University of Jember aims to assist entrepreneurs in the cake business in Banjarejo Village. More specifically, the purpose of this activity is to provide education, training and assistance on branding and digital marketing. The method used in this KKN BTV activity is planning, implementation and evaluation. The efforts that have been made to realize branding and digital marketing have been realized with the creation of logos and packaging labels as well as the formation of an Instagram account as a digital marketing medium. The existence of education, training and mentoring resulted in an increase in target knowledge of branding by 25% and knowledge about digital marketing by 30%. Respondents are more interested in cakes that have logos and packaging labels that are more informative. 100% of respondents said product photos after editing are more interesting and good than before editing. It is also easier for consumers to see references and information on wet cakes produced by the target through Instagram.

Abstract

The development of modified starch made from raw sago is intended to meet the availability of starch that can produce processed food products with starch raw materials and flour based on local resources. The purpose of this activity is to produce a modified sago starch technology package at UMKM SAGUMBI by introducing a stirred horizontal fermentor machine equipped with UV-C (FHP-UVC) lamps integrated with rotary drum vacuum filter dewatering type for modified starch production in West Papua. The approach method used is the dissemination of the FHP-UVC machine, training on the operation of the FHP-UVC machine, and mentoring at UMKM SAGUMBI. The results of the training show that participants understand the parts, how to operate, and how to maintain FHP-UVC machines, and understand how to make sago starch slurry. The technical-economic impact after this dissemination activity was the availability of a horizontal fermentor stirring machine with a 180 W UVC lamp with a capacity of 50 lt of starch slurry per process, so that partners were able to produce modified sago starch. This has a significant impact on increasing the income of business partners, and sago farmers around the partner locations.Keywords: FHP-UVC machine, modified starch, sago, UMKM SAGUMBI

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan program bimbingan belajar yang dapat menunjang kegiatan belajar siswa selama pandemi Covid-19 berlangsung di Desa Silir. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi atau pengamatan langsung di lapangan, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah dari hasil observasi dan wawancara. Subjek atau sasaran penelitiannya adalah kelas I-VI Sekolah Dasar. Lokasi penelitiannya adalah di Dusun Ndawuhan RT. 16 RW. 05 Desa Silir Kecamatan Wates Kabupaten Kediri. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data kualitatif. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode PAR atau Participary Action Research. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, program bimbingan belajar untuk menunjang kegiatan belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran daring selama pandemi Covid-19 yang diberikan secara gratis di Desa Silir berjalan dengan baik dan lancar. Dengan bimbingan belajar, siswa sangat terbantu dalam mengatasi masalah belajar seperti ketidakmampuan dalam mengoperasikan aplikasi pembelajaran, kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan masalah, kesulitan memahami materi pembelajaran, keterbatasan buku ajar atau materi ajar, dan keterbatasan kuota internet untuk belajar. Meskipun dengan beberapa kesulitan dan masalah yang ditemukan dalam bimbingan, semangat siswa dalam belajar tidak menurun. Serta dengan adanya ragam kegiatan dan keterampilan tambahan, siswa menjadi memiliki motivasi semangat belajar yang tinggi dan semakin rajin untuk mengikuti program bimbingan belajar yang telah disediakan.
