Abstract

Abstract

AbstractA company must have a logo as an identity so that people can be known as consumers to consume the products they sell. Redesign the logo at an Ambassador Minang Wedding Organizer and Planner company, which is located at Jl. Rajawali No 09 Padang. done if the old logo does not meet the requirements, including: (1) it is not feasible to be used on the application media; (2) changes in the company's vision and mission; (3) the use of logos that do not function as they should; (4) the ineffectiveness of the logo to be recognized by the public; and (5) to the inconsistency in the form of logos to be used in media that will be a promotional place for companies. Just like the Ambassador of Minang, Wedding Organizer and Planner, who indeed left a logo on several media applications, and favored the name of the company just to be known by the public and applied the name to several print media. So it is necessary to design a logo regarding Ambassador Minang Wedding Organizer and Planner. In the design of the Ambassador of Minang Wedding Oragnizer and Planner logo, the designer uses the AIDA logo method of analysis as a promotional tool that must attract attention, get and encourage interest, generate desire, and produce action on the product. As the identity of the company, the logo requires a design that is simple, easy to remember, flexible and dynamic. The logo as a visual identity to create product productions in the form of the target audience's mind and the creation of a new logo will build the image of the community to the Ambassador of Minang, Wedding Organizer and Planner. The purpose of designing the design of the Ambassador of Minang Wedding Organizer and Planner to achieve the wishes of the Minang Ambassador Wedding Organizer and Planner became a service company with complete and sought-after equipment and equipment in the city of Padang. Redesign logo pada sebuah perusahaan Duta Minang Wedding Organizer and Planner, yang beralamat di Jl. Rajawali No 09 Padang. dilakukan jika logo lama tersebut sudah tidak memenuhi syarat, di antaranya: (1) sudah tidak layak untuk dipakai pada media penerapan; (2) adanya perubahan visi dan misi perusahaan; (3) penggunaan logo yang tidak sesuai fungsi sebagai mana mestinya; (4) tidak efektifnya logo untuk dikenali oleh masyarakat; dan (5) hingga tidak konsistennya bentuk logo untuk dipergunakan pada media-media yang akan menjadi  tempat promosi bagi perusahaan. Sama seperti halnya Duta Minang Wedding Organizer and Planner yang memang sudah meninggalkan logo pada beberapa penerapan media, dan lebih mengunggulkan nama perusahaan saja agar dikenal oleh masyarakat dan menerapkan nama tersebut pada beberapa media cetak. Maka perlu dilakukannya desain sebuah logo mengenai Duta Minang Wedding Organizer and Planner. Dalam desain logo Duta Minang Wedding Oragnizer and Planner ini perancang menggunakan metode analisis AIDA guna logo sebagai alat promosi yang harus menarik perhatian, mendapatkan dan mendorong minat, membangkitkan keinginan, dan mengasilkan tindakan terhadap produk. Sebagai identitas dari perusahaan maka logo diperlukan bentuk desain yang simple,  mudah diingat, fleksibel dan dinamis. Logo sebagai visual identity  untuk menciptakan untuk potitioning product  dalam bentuk benak target audiens dan penciptaan logo yang baru akan membangun image masyarakat kepada Duta Minang Wedding Organizer and Planner. Tujuan dari perancangan desain logo Duta Minang Wedding Organizer and Planner agar tercapainya keinginan Duta Minang Wedding Organizer and Planner menjadi perusahaan layanan jasa dengan perlengkapan dan peralatan yang lengkap dan dicari di Kota Padang. Redesign logo perusahaan ini dapat membentuk karakter baru dari perusahaan yang disertai dengan perubahan visi dan misi baru yang digunakan saat ini.Kata kunci : Desain, Logo, Duta Minang Wedding Organizer and Planner

Abstract

AbstractKris is one of the noble cultural art works of past cultural heritage that has high value, its usefulness always develops from time to time according to the age context. Initially the kris developed in Java as a traditional weapons system, then spread to various regions of the archipelago including the Minangkabau. Almost the entire archipelago has a kris culture, although there are differences in names, forms and functions in each region. These differences encourage the desire to understand the meaning and value of the kris in accordance with the context of Minangkabau culture. Overall, the kris is a form of physical culture that reflects the values of goodness, especially related to Pangulu's leadership in Minangkabau.Keywords : Kris, Minangkabau Cultur, Leadership Value Abstrak Keris merupakan salah satu karya seni budaya adiluhung peninggalan budaya masa lalu yang bernilai tinggi, kegunaannya selalu berkembang dari masa ke masa sesuai konteks zaman. Awalnya keris  berkembang di Jawa sebagai sistem senjata tradisional, kemudian menyebar ke berbagai wilayah Nusantara termasuk ke Minangkabau. Hampir seluruh wilayah nusantara memiliki budaya keris, meskipun terdapat perbedaan nama, bentuk maupun fungsinya di tiap wilayah.Perbedaan tersebut mendorong keinginan untuk memahami makna dan nilai keris sesuai dengan konteks budaya Minangkabau.Secara keseluruhan, keris merupakan wujud budaya fisik yang mencerminkan nilai-nilai kebaikan, terutama terkait dengan kepemimpinan Pangulu di Minangkabau.Kata kunci : Keris, Budaya Minangkabau, Kepemimpinan

Abstract

Palembang city is currently experiencing rapid progress in terms of transportation. It is marked with the number of new infrastructure such as the LRT and road construction. However, there are several issues that still often occurs in the highway of Palembang city, these concerns are traffic violations and unsafe driving behavior in this context made by motorcyclists. Therefore, the Design Of Social Campaign Orderly and Safely Traffic Behaviour Based On Safety Riding is designed with the aim to raise awareness and urge the public about the importance of obeying traffic laws and drive safely. Media campaigns were containing various information regarding the traffic order, is designed in such a way without losing the factual aspects of the media as well as easy to be digested by the public.Keywords: Social Campaign, Safety Riding, Traffic

Abstract

ABSTRACTCommunication is the key to a comprehensive effort to form a positive goal. Planned communication creates certain effects on a large number of audiences that are carried out sustainably over a period of time. Campaigns often use the media as a message sending channel that has been well organized to target targets as planned. The campaign which currently has a high existence is a campaign oriented social mission as a series of planned non-commercial communication processes that contain messages about social problems that occur in the community. In the design process, there are data collection methods and data analysis methods before executing execution. The data collected is in the form of facts, daily targets, and casual diction so that the data can be a creative media that fits the characteristics of the target audience. The author takes the topic The Role of Social Campaign Media With Visual Communication Design due to the author's interest in delivering messages that are made creative and interactive by a visual communication design to be able to make other individuals change their minds. Analysis of this work contains observations related to design elements, campaign media and campaign communication processes designed. The 16 Days Campaign Against Violence Against Communities relies on print ads and interactive ambient ads as an effort to raise awareness of target targets to combat related cases.Keywords :  Communication, Design, Campaign, WomanABSTRAKKomunikasi menjadi kunci dari sebuah usaha komperhensif dalam membentuk suatu tujuan yang positif. Komunikasi secara terencana  menciptakan efek tertentu pada sejumlah besar khalayak yang dilakukan secara berkelanjutan pada kurun waktu tertentu . Kampanye kerap menggunakan media sebagai saluran pengirim pesan yang telah ditata dengan baik kepada target sasaran sesuai yang telah direncanakan. Kampanye yang saat ini memiliki eksistensi yang tinggi adalah kampanye misi sosial yang berorientasi sebagai serangkaian proses komunikasi terencana bersifat non-komersil yang berisi pesan tentang masalah sosial yang terjadi di masyarakat. Dalam proses perancangan, terdapat metode pengumpulan data dan metode analisis data sebelum melakukan pengerjaan eksekusi. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa fakta kasus, keseharian target sasaran, serta diksi yang kasual sehingga data tersebut dapat menjadi media kreatif yang sesuai dengan karakteristik target sasaran. Adapun penulis mengambil topik Peranan Media Kampanye Sosial Dengan Desain Komunikasi Visual dikarenakan ketertarikan penulis terhadap penyampaian pesan yang dibuat kreatif dan interaktif oleh seorang desain komunikasi visual hingga mampu membuat individu yang lain berubah pikiran. Analisis karya ini berisikan pengamatan terkait elemen desain, media kampanye dan proses komunikasi kampanye yang dirancang. Kampanye 16 Hari Anti Kekerasan Terhadap Masyarakat mengandalkan print ads dan ambient ads yang interaktif sebagai upaya mengugah kesadaran target sasaran untuk memerangi kasus terkait.Kata kunci : Komunikasi, Desain, Kampanye, Perempuan

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to discuss the aesthetic values contained in the beautiful embroidery gold thread NagariSungayang, Tanah Datar regency, West Sumatra. Beautiful embroidery of NagariSungayang gold threads are made from various motifs derived from plants and animals from the nature and environment of NagariSungayang and its surroundings. The types of motifs are bungosabatang, bungosetangkai, bungomerak, kaluakpakukucianglalaok, pucuakrabuang, bungotangah, bungosuduik, and limpappaeh. These motifs, modified by embroidering, use gold threads that consider aspects of beauty, thus giving rise to aesthetic values. The beautiful embroidery of the NagariSungayang gold thread is still done manually by the hands of local magicians, from the motive work to the fabric that will be embroidered to embroider gold threads. To make a beautiful embroidered gold thread takes ten to fifteen days. This study, using qualitative methods that emphasize the observation, involvement, interviews, and participant observer. The results showed that the beautiful thread embroidery has aesthetic and meaning NagariSungayang.Keywords: Aesthetics, Beautiful Embroidered Gold Thread, Nagari Sungayang. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan membahas nilai-nilai estetis yang terdapat dalam sulaman indah benang emas Nagari Sungayang, Kabupaten Tanah Datar, Sumatera Barat. Sulaman indah benang emas Nagari Sungayang dibuat dari bermacam motif yang berasal dari tumbuhan dan hewan dari alam dan lingkungan Nagari Sungayang dan sekitarnya. Jenis motif adalah bungosabatang, bungosetangkai, bungomerak, kaluakpaku kucianglalaok, ,pucuak rabuang, bungo tangah, bungo suduik, dan limpappaeh. Motif-motif itu, dimodifikasi dengan cara menyulam, menggunakan benang emas yang mempertimbangkan aspek keindahan, sehingga memunculkan nilai-nilai estetis. Sulaman indah benang emas Nagari Sungayang hingga sekarang masih dikerjakan secara manual oleh tangan-tangan pesulam setempat, mulai dari pengerjaan motif ke kain yang akan disulam hingga menyulam benang emas. Untuk membuat satu sulaman indah benang emas membutuhkan waktu sepuluh sampai lima belas hari. Penelitian ini, menggunakan metode kualitatif yang menekankan pada pengamatan, keterlibatan, wawancara, dan partisipan observer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sulaman indah benang memiliki estetis dan makna Nagari Sungayang.Kata kunci: Estetika, Sulaman Indah Benang Emas, Nagari Sungayang.

Abstract

In the essence of painting was not out of line and color, it was very important in a painting. Line was a basic element in art that mean more than just a scratch, Role lines were very important in the process embodiment form, because the line determines the quality of expression of an artist who appeared in strokes or in granting certain accentuation on the object creation. When the line was structured, such as arranged through rhythm, symmetry, balance would form certain patterns so that the line was able to speak as a medium of expression. Likewise with color, an outline of the meaning of the colors that we could actually described its. With a record if the colors were in a state of stand alone or be dominant compared with other colors. Scientifically, understanding of color was an electromagnetic wave that led to our eyes were translated by the brain as a color. Abstract

Kraton Yogyakarta as a cultural center in Yogyakarta Special Province. has many interesting things to observe and researched one art in the field of fine arts or ornamental motifs, decorative motifs are made not just to decorate the empty space of a field but has its own meaning and philosophy, let alone decorative motifs are located on the pole buffer Kraton Yogyakarta and special places that have a sacred value. Kraton Yogyakarta has a valuable cultural value that is interesting to be studied, in this study focused on the carvings that are in the pole buffer Kraton Yogyakarta, namely Alif Motifs, Lam, Meme and Motif Ornamental Princess Merong. This decorative motif tells about the transition of the entry of Islam as the ideology of the Sultan's Palace and the rejection of the previous religion. Ornamental motifs Alif, Lam, Mim and Princess Merong will be studied with theoretical approach of signs or Semiotics, in addition to more precise and depth will be used Historical and Sociological approach of art. Abstract

Incung Kerinci script is one of the Kerinci community culture in ancient times. Incung Kerinci script is an ancient manuscript that used by the tribe Kerinci on previously as a vehicle to write literature, customary law, and incantations written on bark, buffalo horns, bamboo and palm leaves. Incung Kerinci script formed by straight lines, broken and curved stuck. The slope of the line forming the letter was an average of 45 °. As a cultural product of the past, Incung Kerinci script always continue to be developed, in order to remain sustainable existence in modern life are increasingly sinking value of the local culture. The creation of this work passed three stages, namely exploration, design, and realization through the search of new forms of art craft, creative, and innovative, by not leaving the principles of modern art. Manifestations of the work using media of wood, sawdust, brass, iron, and bamboo. The technique used is: carving techniques, techniques nock, chisel technique, technique paste, polishing techniques, engineering lathe, welding techniques and grafting techniques. In the embodiment of this work more emphasis on the value of expression without leaving the meaning, message, and symbols. Meaning, messages and symbols contained in the artworks created this craft, is the transformation of cultural values and traditions of the people of Kerinci. The creation of works of art crafts can be a medium as Incung Kerinci script development, to the next generation. The creation of this craft artwork can also give insight to the creators of art, that in the context of the modern era, the essence of culture and local potential can be used as a source of creation is a work of art craft of personal expression.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis Parameswara monument is a sculpture artwork created to welcome PON 2004 ago. Analysis of this work will use the aesthetic approach, in addition to its monumental form of this work is also closely related to the history of Palembang as the center of the greatest kingdom civilization in the archipelago of the archipelago of Sriwijaya. As one of the great kingdom of Sriwijaya kingdom has a strong influence on the earth archipelago. This is evident until now from the traces he left behind. Likewise with the work of sculpture Parameswara is a work of sculpture symbolic abstraction created by Rita Widagdo. Rita Widagdo is one of the artists living in modren age, this is certainly very influential in the creation of this sculpture artwork. The presence of sculpture art works also provide an interpretation of the development of the times. Parameswara sculpture is not just a beautiful natural manifestation of natural simplification by simply capturing the essence of an object in the amatinya, the object is a creative stimulus so that the resulting work is an abstraction of reality. In the manifestation Rita Widagdo tends to use a concave and convex lines firmly to give the impression of a courage and strength that is the result of interpretation of Parameswara figures. Parameswara statue is a symbol of unifying Malay clumps in the archipelago. The reason, almost all Malays in the archipelago, especially in Malaysia, Singapore, southern Thailand, and Brunei originated from Palembang. Sebagai salah satu kerajaan besar tentu kerajaan Sriwijaya memiliki pengaruh yang kuat di bumi Nusantara. Hal ini terbukti sampai saat sekarang dari jejak-jejak yang ditinggalkannya. Begitu juga dengan karya seni patung Parameswara merupakan karya seni patung abstraksi simbolik yang diciptakan oleh Rita Widagdo. Rita Widagdo merupakansalah satu seniman yang hidup dizaman modren, hal ini tentu sangat berpengaruh dalam penciptaan karya seni patung ini. Kehadiran karya seni patung ini turut memberikan interpretasi atas perkembangan zaman. Karya patung Parameswara bukan sekedar manifestasi alam yang indah melaikan simplifikasi alam dengan hanya menangkap hakikat dari sebuah objek yang di amatinya, objek tersebut merupakan rangsang cipta sehingga karya yang dihasilkan merupakan abstraksi dari realitas. Dalam perwujudannya Rita Widagdo cendrung menggunakan garis cekung dan cembung dengan tegas sehingga memberikan kesan suatu keberanian dan kekuatan yang merupakan hasil dari interpretasi terhadap tokoh Parameswara. Patung Parameswara merupakan simbol pemersatu rumpun Melayu di Nusantara. Pasalnya, hampir? semua orang Melayu yang ada di Nusantara, khususnya di Malaysia, Singapura, Thailand Selatan, dan Brunei berasal dari Palembang. Mereka semua keturunan dari Parameswara dan pengikutnya, seorang panglima dari Palembang Setelah jatuhnya Sriwijaya, Iskandar Shah atau Parameswara melarikan diri ke utara untuk menemukan sebuah pemukiman baru.Kata kunci : Sriwijaya, Parameswara, Interpretasi, Abstraksi Simbolik
