Abstract

Indonesia is a country consist of various tribes, languages, customs, and religions. This diversity is a treasure of the country which is worthy to be proud. However this diversity can also lead to a conflict. In Indonesia it has been an evident proof that many conflicts were caused by religious differences. Based on the experience of inter-religious conflicts, anyone as a citizen wish an inter-religious harmony which transcends the religious differences in Indonesia. Inter-religious harmony present at atmosphere of brotherhood and a sense of unity among the religion followers. Inter-religious harmony can also be defined as a process to achieve a state of living in harmony and peace in despite of the differences in religion. By means of the inter-religious dialogue of life, a person can develop him/herself in terms of knowledge and tolerant attitudes in the daily life. This study used qualitative research method directed to answer the research question: How far do the members of the Forum of the Inter-Religious Harmony (FKUB) and all the people who are actively involved, as the informants, live the implementation of the dialogue of life in the daily life, and how far do the main subjects of Nostra Aetate appraise the implementation of a dialogue of life in the region of Madiun? The result of this research generaly reveal that the informants have lived the implementation of inter-religious dialogue in the daily life. the informant to achieve the inter-religious harmony in Indonesia. It means that the main views of Nostra Aetate have been internalized by the most people.

Abstract

The progress of human civilization today is inseparable from the role of science. The dynamics of the pattern of our daily lives from time to time it runs in line with the dynamics of the development of science. The development of science and human civilization running together since from classical times, the middle ages, modern times, and so on. Novelty found in a period becomes an essential ingredient for other discoveries in the next period. One thing that is difficult to argue is that almost all sides of human life today has been entered by the various effects of the development of science and technology, ranging from economic, political, social and cultural, communication, education, health, and so on. All this progress is the fruit of the development of science that never recede from human studies. This paper on the one hand want to observe the philosophical basis for the world of Catholic education, and on the other hand, this article seeks to contribute a little reflection, especially for teachers of religious education in STKIP Widya Yuwana and Catholic families today. There wilderness philosophy that is so tempting to dive, but the limitations of time and space makes this paper should choose to focus. Perspective selected is Aristotelian philosophy.

Abstract

Guild is one model of the Church. In the Church, the faithful communion in one faith, which is Jesus Christ. Model Church reconfirmed by the Council Fathers in the Second Vatican Council. First and foremost is the church fellowship (communion), gathering those who believe (communionfidelium). The church is a church/ association of people united by the Holy Spirit in faith, hope and love. Great Apostle St. Paul laid the foundation why the Church should be aligned. He was very instrumental in spreading Christianity. In the spread of Christianity, he repeatedly stressed the importance ofliving communion of the faithful. According to the St. Paul,fellowship entails living together. In it there is a fairly close relationship braid. There is a shared vision in building a community. A minimum it can be experienced and lived Paul on his missionary journeys are so long and long.

Abstract

The times changing. Thus also change the dynamics of human life. And in these changes, contains elements call for disciples of Christ to carry out the testimony of the Gospel and the truth. Catholic teachers and employees are called to bear witness to the Gospel through their concrete life. The call to duty and they need to learn from Jesus himself as an exemplary witness. And this, faith in Jesus becomes the basis of which strengthen them to be witnesses ofthe Gospel. Being a witness to the Gospel, first of all directed towards integral human safety. To support these efforts, need to be presented through live testimony is relevant in the context of the student. Teachers and employees of Catholic at schools, are called to take action testimony. This action not only covers the areas of teaching and the work of a rigid, or limited formal responsibilities, but also the field of witness of life (good deeds). With her they also serve the students and their context. The focus is not on science, but students with all ofits dimensions.

Abstract

Universal Church concerns deeply to social-economic problem of human race. Social Doctrine of The Church then appears as a way to solve social-economic problems of human race. That is why, the Indonesian apostolates attends in a ocial-economic Development (PSE) where it has been depeloped at all dioceses. Although, the development of socio-economic program is not supported well, but nowdays, Klepu-Ponorogo St. Hilary Parish has been traying to develope this program. They have some kinds of social-economic developments program such as: farming training school, home industry, organic rice farming, barns, mushrooms cultivation, urine liquid fertilizer. Eventhough, practically, they find some problems different interests on PSE program. It is actually influenced by the ineffectiveness of the program socialization to the whole people. Another factor is that, the people has not been yet interested to join in the program.

Abstract

Couples who have been married for six up to twenty five years cannot apart from obstacles which appear in their family life. Most of obstacles that they face are about economic problem, educational problem, divorce, having a secret affair, barren, being selfish, lacking of attention, disputing, and so on. These things cause a conflict in family. Besides, the married couples will find difficulty in understanding the true meaning of married sacrament. Every kind of effort has been done by them in order to keep their marriage in peace and harmony. To make it happen, they must love each other, be faithful, and honest. Moreveor, they must accept the strength and weakness of their partner and be grateful for everything they have. By being grateful, god will protect their marriage. Marriage is a thing which is given by god himself He is the only one who is able to unite two different people, man and woman, to form a new family. Based on the problem stated in this research, the aims of the research are describing the meaning of married sacreament, identifying the challenges that they face in understanding the meaning of married sacrament, and explaning their efforts in understanding the meaning of married sacrament.

Abstract

In child baptism sacrament, parents together with the godparents cooperate to religious education of the baptism child, with the purpose of making children being able to grow up in faith. However, in fact, there are some godparents that have not been able to do their tasks and responsibilities and also their involvement in teaching baptism child's faith. Thus, it is become very important to be known about how the godparents understanding on godparents description and also explain the tasks and responsibility also the involvement of the godparents in teaching child's faith. Here is the significant order of godparents which is accompanying baptism child in the process of faith development. This scientific work research is aimed to find out how are the tasks and responsibilities also the involvement of the godparents within the baptism child's faith religious education in mater dei madiun parish. The results of the research indicate that large amount of godparents know the godparents essence from the description, rules and regulations and also tasks and responsibilities of the godparents but not yet deepen. Related to the involvement of the godparents in teaching child's faith can be seen from how the godparents participate in doing what become their tasks and responsibilities while teaching the child and all the godparents declare that he/she have been involved in the child's faith religious education through all short of associations for the baptism child from the baptism preparation, while baptism process up to the end and after the baptism sacrament.

Abstract

In the book of Daniel, there are nine prophetic values that can set as examples for catechists who work in the schools. Among them are: fa ith in God, praise and loving God, pray, Faithfull in service, doing a simple life in the midst of the luxury world, living in honest way, open to the media, had a wide view to the world, and optimism. The services of the catechists in schools can be said to be good so far. But there are still some of catechists who still find difficult to live in the prophetic values based on the Book of Daniel. This happens for many reasons. One of among the reasons is that there are some catechists still doubt for their own faith. Therefore, it is highly recommended that the catechists who work in the schools have to further explore and integrate the prophetic values as persisted in the Book of Daniel, especially the values related to the life of prayer, loyalty in service, honesty and openness to the media.

Abstract

A catechist can be called a missionary and saint. This call is very appropriate considering their role in the missionary work of the Church. This research will answer two questions: (1) What is the role of catechists in the missionary work of the Church? (2) What is the professional catechism model in the midst of the needs of the world today? This study uses a qualitative method of literature study. Through this paper, it will be explained that in the mission of the Church, the catechist acts as a spokesman for the Christian congregation, a prophet, an educator and a witness. Where as the professional catechists needed are catechists who always present the Holy Spirit as their soul and missionary spirit while equipping themselves with skills and knowledge.

Abstract

Proclaiming Christ based on Audio Visual is similar with our vocation as a Christian to go to proclaim the Gospel to the world. Pope John Paul II noted in his Message for the 27th Communications Day that the audiocassette and the videocassette are gifts of God, gifts, we may say, kept in His treasury through all the ages until our time, kept — for us. We must clearly understand that he did not give them to us for our harm. Here we know how the Church received the audio visual media as gifts of God. Pierre Babin's idea on symbolic way is recommended for proclaiming of faith. As students in Widya Yuwana Faculty we can improve our skills for a Catholic Religion Education based on Audio Visual Media.
