Abstract

The culture of the people of Tangerang Regency, starting from hat crafts to Tangerang batik crafts, is one part of local wisdom. To preserve it so that it doesn't become extinct or disappear, it is necessary to carry out an activity in the preservation and introduction of various Tangerang batik motifs to the public, especially students who are in Tangerang Regency. Thus, the problem of maintaining local wisdom values in the typical Tangerang batik motifs is an important matter for Tangerang Regency. Therefore, in introducing various Tangerang batik motifs, it is necessary to introduce them to schools. So, that schools in Tangerang Regency care about preserving their local wisdom. The research method used is a qualitative method, while the data collection techniques used are observation, interview, and documentation. The research results are (1) there is a need for an introduction to local history based on the local wisdom values of Tangerang batik, because it will add local insight to students at SMAN 3 Kabupaten Tangerang; (2) the implementation of history learning on Tangerang batik craft material motivates students, because it is taught by history teachers who have prepared the learning process, both from lesson plans, materials, methods, and media specifically; and (3) the obstacles found in learning, namely the availability of material that is not widely available in the school library and the time allocation that is not sufficient to discuss broader material in learning local history.

Abstract

Learning foreign languages, especially Mandarin, is currently being promoted by the Indonesian government. Difficult learning materials make it difficult for students to learn the language. Therefore, teachers are required to be able to choose the right learning media to realize the achievement of learning objectives. With this multimodal-based learning video media, students are expected to be skilled at speaking Mandarin. This type of qualitative descriptive research was conducted in a tertiary institution with 25 Chinese learners at the beginner level as participants. Data was collected using observation in class. Based on the research results, video media can improve students' vocabulary skills.

Abstract

TThe development of coffee shop business trends in Indonesia has increased over the last few years. Even though Indonesia was hit by the COVID-19 pandemic, it did not discourage businessmen in the industry. In fact, several businessmen started their businesses during the pandemic, including Klangen Coffee & Roastery. As a businessman who operated during the pandemic, Klangen Coffee & Roastery employed a Marketing Public Relations strategy to survive in the competitive coffee shop business and create a positive image in the public eye. This study uses Harold Lasswell's Propaganda theory and a focus method that includes five elements of communication: source, message, channel or media, receiver, and effect. The research aims to understand Klangen Coffee & Roastery's Marketing Public Relations strategy in shaping a positive image in the public eye. The interpretive qualitative research methodology involves conducting in-depth interviews and observations. The study's results suggest that Klangen Coffee & Roastery's Marketing Public Relations strategy has been successful but not yet fully maximized. Researchers also see that the use of content can have a fairly good impact or effect when delivered through Instagram and TikTok.

Abstract

This development research was carried out based on the findings of the potential and problems of learning history at SMK Cendika Bangsa Kepanjen. The availability of various adequate learning facilities, especially in the use of digital technology, allows learning activities to be more innovative and aligned with current developments in technology and information. On the other hand, the lack of availability and development of teaching materials in schools is an important concern because it has an impact on the low value of learning outcomes and has not yet achieved complete learning outcomes. In that regard, the purpose of this research and development is to develop and test the effectiveness of teaching materials e-booklet based on Flip PDF Professional on technological development in the period of perundagian in Indonesia for Students Class X SMK Cendika Bangsa Kepanjen Malang. The research method used is the development research method (R&D) by Sugiyono. Teaching materials e-booklet based Flip PDF Professional are digital teaching materials with a more realistic and attractive appearance because when turning the pages of the e-booklet will move like a real book. The teaching materials contain material text, pictures, videos, maps, and quizzes. The result of calculating the percentage of the material validator is 98.33% and the teaching material validator is 91.66%. Meanwhile, the results of the percentage calculation based on the small group trial were 82.22% and the large group trial was 88.93%. Based on the acquisition of these percentages, teaching materials e-booklet based Flip PDF Professional stated to be very valid and very effective in learning history.

Abstract

This research was conducted in Sumberarum Village, Songgon, Banyuwangi which aims to find out; (1) History of Pucak Giri Raung Temple; (2) The structure of the Pucak Giri Raung Temple; (3) The function of the Pucak Giri Raung Temple. This research is historical research, so the steps taken are (1) Heuristic data collection (observation, interviews, study of documents), (2) Criticism of sources, (3) Interpretation and (4) Historiography of historical writing. Based on findings in the field, Pucak Giri Raung Temple was founded in 1972. Its founders, the Hindu community from Jembrana and Karangasem, Bali. At that time, people from Bali moved to Banyuwangi to cultivate cloves. Since then the Hindu community has grown until now. It is called Pucak Giri Raung Temple because the location of the temple is in the hills and under the foot of Mount Raung. The people believe that around the slopes of Mount Raung are the remains of Maharesi Markandeya, the spread of Hindu religious teachings from Java to Bali in the 7th century AD. Pucak Giri Raung Temple is still related to Rsi Markandeya. Because the local people have found relics and a place where Rsi Markandeya meditated. Relics found by local people in the form of sticks. Rsi Markandeya's journey was first to Mount Dieng in Central Java, then continued the journey to Kalibaru sub-district, after that at Gumuk Kancil, Sempu sub-district, continued to Pucak Giri Raung Temple, Sumberasih hamlet, Songgon sub-district, and ended the trip at Besakih Temple in Bali to teach Hinduism. The structure of Pucak Giri Raung Temple uses the Dwi Mandala concept in which this concept divides the temple into two parts, namely Nista Mandala (unholy part) and Utama Mandala (most sacred part). The function of Pucak Giri Raung Temple is divided into three namely, (1) Religious function as a place for prayer and religious ceremonies (2) Religious Education function as a place for pasraman or often called Hindu religious education; and (3) social function as a meeting place for meetings and deliberations

Abstract

This study discusses grammatical semantics seen from the types of context in the contextual meaning contained in the oral literary works of Limerick in the book Collection of Indonesian Proverbs and Pantun by the Cemerlang Editorial Team. This research method is descriptive using a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used are documentation, observe and record. Data analysis techniques in this study used descriptive qualitative analysis techniques. The results of the analysis of the data obtained from the limerick in the book Collection of Indonesian Proverbs and Pantun by the Cemerlang Editorial Team in terms of the types of context in contextual meaning are the context of purpose, the context of the speaker's or listener's mood and the context of the object.

Abstract

The Indonesian nation is very rich in culture and traditions. One of the traditions it has is the Seren TaunTradition. Until now, this tradition is still preserved in several areas in West Jawa. This tradition is a tradition that has been carried out by the Sundanese people, by prioritizing one of the crops, namely rice. This tradition has been carried out in various areas of West Java, one of which is in Girijaya-Cidahu Village, Sukabumi, West Java. Even the agricultural sector is a source of livelihood for the people of Girijaya. Due to its strategic geographic location, which is near the mountains. In the era of globalization, it can be seen that many people have almost forgotten the traditions that surround them, but the Girijaya people have a strategy in preserving this Seren Taun Tradition, namely by means of local characters, palnting local chharacters to become a fortress to wirhstand the onslaught of outisde influences.

Abstract

Theories related to learning and education has developed since Greece and Roman era. The philosophers have already convinced the society with their thoughts of learning even though there are still some polemics and pro contra among experts. Their concepts have brought some changes dan influences to human education including an educational system in Indonesia. This article aimed at elaborating the development of educational theories and the implementation of those theories in educational system in Indonesia to get better understanding of the theories. In writing this article, a historical library research method was used to get data and information related to the topic. Relevant journals and books were used as the references to support the writing of this article. The result shows that concepts in education were used as references to build proper form of curriculum in Indonesia. It has important roles in developing national education which finally Indonesia has ten times revised the curriculum to get better educational system and work in line with the development era. Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan sebuah tradisi yang berada di Desa Sukolilo Kecamatan Sukolilo Kabupaten Pati dimana yang terkenal dengan sebutan Tradisi Meron (Meronan) atau Maulidan, serta memaparkan aspek-aspek Pendidikan religius dan juga penjabaran tentang makna apa saja dalam berbagai symbol yang terdapat pada gunungan meron. Ada sejumlah 88.346 jiwa yang menempati Desa Sukolilo. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui informasi dari narasumber, tempat kejadian langsung prosesi meronan serta dari tempat pariwisata. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian memberitahukan bahwa sejarah bagaimana munculnya tradisi meron ini pada masa pemerintahan kesultanan Mataram (awal mula abad ke-17) dimana saat itu prajurit ingat bahwasannya setiap tanggal 12 Maulud Nabi Muhammad SAW. maka dari itu diadakan upacara sekaten di Desa Sukolilo sebagai adat kesultanan yang diadakan setiap satu tahun sekali. Perlengkapan yang digunakan pada tradisi meron antara lain masjid, karangan bunga, ampyang, cucur, once, ancak yang berisi nasi ruroh serta buah-buahan. Penyelenggaraan tradisi diantaranya meron yang sudah dibuat H-1 setelah melaksanakan sembahyang sholat dzuhur, meron akan diarak menuju spot tempat yang sudah ditentukan pada sepanjang jalan raya yang berjarak kurang lebih sati kilometer dari ujung ke ujung. Kepala Desa serta Perangkat Desa berbondong-bondong menuju halaman masjid besar dalam pelaksanaan upacara tradisi meron. Aspek-aspek pendidikan religi ini dalam tradisi meron diperuntukkan sebagai perayaan hari lahirnya Nabi besar, Nabi Muhammad SAW. serta untuk mendekatkan diri dan beriman kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa.

Abstract

The Perjuangan Museum was founded on November 10, 1957, to pass on the spirit and fighting spirit of the 45 values to future generations. However, tourist visits to the struggling museum are not as busy as other history museums in the city of Bogor, such as the Map Museum. Travelers especially zilenial. One of the current problems is that millennial tourists are indirectly less interested in visiting the Perjuangan Museum. This could be motivated by the lack of optimal communication from the Perjuangan Museum. The purpose of this study is to identify the elements of communication effectiveness from the Museum Perjuangan as historical tourism for the zilenial generation. This research was carried out at the Bogor City Perjuangan Museum. The research method uses descriptive qualitative. Meanwhile, data collection techniques refer to observation, in-depth interviews, and literature studies. The research variables using communication effectiveness can be seen from the elements of the communication process namely Credibility, Context, Content, Clarity, Continuity and Consistency, Channel, and Capability of the audience. Qualitative data analysis consists of three streams of activities that occur simultaneously, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions/verification. Referring to the results obtained related to the effectiveness of communication in the Perjuangan Museum. In the content element, the concern is that the historical information conveyed is not too long but more effective. As for the Channel element, what needs to be emphasized is that the scope of information through the media is expanded.
