Abstract

The debt guarantee that will be given by the prospective debtor will be associated with a right to guarantee according to the type of guarantee submitted. In Indonesia itself, it has just implemented services through electronic means, services by carrying out a new interaction mechanism between the government and the community and for the benefit of other people who are interested, involving the use of technology and information (especially the internet) aimed at improving quality. in community service. According to the author, the Electronic Mortgage Service does not yet have legal protection for creditors so that the author uses normative legal research methods so that the author can use the basic analysis of the laws and regulations or some other legal document. The author's purpose in this study aims to identify and analyze forms of legal protection for creditors in making Electronic Mortgage certificates.

Abstract

This article discusses a portrait of the development of educational institutions during the Japanese occupation in Indonesia in 1942-1945. The aspects of education include the level of education, the language of education, access to education, the cover and contents of textbooks, types of subjects, infrastructure, students and teachers, the heritage of semi-militaristic education, and the general goals of Japanese education in Indonesia. This research is important to find out the continuity regarding the heritage of Japanese education that still alive today. This research uses a historical method that includes four main stages, which are heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. Data collection techniques use literature studies (library studies) in the form of books, theses, journals, and articles. The research results show that educational principles during the Japanese occupation tended to be contradictory compared to education in the Dutch colonial era. Education in Indonesia during the Japanese occupation was no longer discriminatory but inclusive (open to all people). The education of the Japanese occupation was not intellectualistic but rather semi-militaristic which prioritized physical fitness and agility. Education became a means of mobilization and a means of indoctrination in makes people who were ready to support the victory of Japan's war against the Allies in the Pacific and make Japan the leader of Greater East Asia.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the comparison of Standard Clauses regulations in Indonesian and New Zealand consumer protection laws. This research is normative legal research, in which this research obtains data from primary legal materials, including legal principles and legal norms contained in laws and regulations within the consumer protection sector in Indonesia and New Zealand, supported by secondary legal materials in the form of books, journals, articles, papers, previous research related to research problems. The results of this study indicate that there are notable differences between the regulations for the use of Standard Clauses in Indonesian and New Zealand consumer protection laws. These differences are observed in several aspects, such as the terminology used, the determination process for prohibited Standard Clauses, the legal implication of the use of Standard Clauses, and the legal accountability for business actors who include Standard Clauses prohibited by the law. Indonesia uses the term "Standard Clauses", while New Zealand uses the term "Unfair Contract Terms”. In Indonesia, it is illegal for business actors to include Standard Clauses that fulfill the provisions mentioned in Article 18, Paragraph (1), and Paragraph (2) of the UUPK. If such clauses are included, they are declared null and void by law. On the other hand, in New Zealand, if a business includes an Unfair Contract Term in a consumer contract, the court can cancel it upon request by the Commerce Commission or the affected consumer.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to identify and obtain information about the school's efforts to embedding character education in the independent curriculum, especially in history learning. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method, which describing the situation and data obtained during the author's observations and interviews by asking questions so that it becomes information that is useful and easy for the reader to understand. This research explains and provides an overview of the efforts made by the school in embedding character education in class X history learning in the independent curriculum at SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru. The research results indicate that efforts to embedding character education in class X history learning in the independent curriculum at SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru are ongoing and implemented optimally in accordance with the school's policies and capabilities. In implementing character education in schools, it does not only rely on the learning process in the classroom, but is also carried out by providing positive activity habits for students and P5, although in its implementation there are still many shortcomings and obstacles.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the supervision of the distribution of subsidized diesel fuel (biosolar) in Padang City and the inhibiting factors in the supervision. This research uses descriptive analysis method with qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation studies from various informants related to the supervision of the distribution of subsidized diesel fuel. Data were analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The results of this study indicate that supervision of the distribution of subsidized diesel fuel oil in Padang City is carried out in the form of issuing circulars, forming supervisory task forces, and conducting monitoring and counseling. However, the supervision of the distribution of subsidized diesel fuel is faced with problems, namely the misuse of subsidized fuel oil in Padang city, the supervision task force and coordination between sectors have not run optimally, there is no direct monitoring in the field conducted by the Regional Government. The suggestion from this research is the need for local government coordination with the central government to encourage clearer policies related to the authority and role of the Provincial and Regency or City Governments in supervising the distribution of subsidized diesel fuel.

Abstract

The behavior of tourists in throwing rubbish in the Sombs Opu fort area is the cause of the decline in the aesthetic value of the environment. This research aims to analyze tourist behavior in throwing away rubbish in the Somba Opu fort area with the hope that tourists can better understand the problem of environmental pollution. This research uses a description method carried out through a survey with a data collection method using a questionnaire. The research location is the Somba Opu fort area with the research sample being tourists from the Somba Opu fort, Barombong District, Gowa Regency, Makassar City, totaling 30 people. Then the research data was analyzed to determine the behavior of tourists throwing rubbish in the Somba Opu fort area with the research results from highest to lowest being an attitude indicator of 87%, a knowledge indicator of 80%, and an infrastructure indicator of 63%. Research results show that this is due to tourists' lack of awareness of the risks posed by waste that is disposed of inappropriately. The high level of tourist knowledge cannot be a benchmark for awareness of maintaining the beauty of the Somba Opu fort area.

Abstract

This research aims to study the history of the development of the Urung Senembah kingdom in Patumbak from 1620 to 2023, with a focus on the development of the kingdom, history and Islam. This research uses historical research methods in four steps: heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. Data was collected from relevant archives, books, articles and reports. This research focuses on the Urung Senembah kingdom, which was founded by the Barus family and had authority over the Deli and Serdang Sultanates. The territory of this kingdom stretches from the Seruai River to thelumai River. This research uses primary and secondary sources, including history books, government reports, and contemporary documents. This study aims to complete research on the Urung Senembah kingdom and its significance in the history of Patumbak.

Abstract

The study was entitled "HISTORY OF PAGOEJOEBAN PASOENDAN 1913-1942". The author takes the topic of Paguyuban Pasundan with the title above, because based on the results of the literature study that the author did, that there are still few works that discuss Paguyuban Pasundan, even though the role of Paguyuban Pasundan as an organization has a major impact on the Indonesian independence movement both nationally and West Java. The author sets out three formulations of the problem in this paper, namely, What is the history of the birth of the Pasundan Community? What is the ideology of Paguyuban Pasundan organization? How were the organizational activities of Paguyuban Pasundan in 1927-1942? The method used is a historical method consisting of four stages, namely: Heuristics, Criticism, Interpretation, Historiography, and is also assisted by using an interdisciplinary approach from the social sciences. The technique that the author uses is a literature study related to the theme that the author is studying. Based on the results of the literature study that the author conducted, that Paguyuban Pasundan was born becauseof disappointment with Budi Utomo's organization which prioritized the interests of Javanese and Madurese. So because of these factors, an organization that accommodates Sundanese people was established, namely Paguyuban Pasundan. At the beginning of the establishment of the Paguyuban Pasundan organization moved for the benefit of the Sundanese people but turned into a national interest as evidenced by the period 1927-1942 establishing PPPKI, GAPI and active in the Volksraad.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide a comprehensive description of the Lawang Sakepeng tradition in terms of marriage requirements. The method in this research uses qualitative with descriptive research type. Data were obtained through direct observation to the research location. Then, interviews with informants and people who have knowledge about the Lawang Sakepeng tradition. In addition, relevant documents and equipment used in carrying out Lawang Sakepeng. The results of the study show that the Lawang Sakepeng tradition plays an important role in determining the success of marriage by ensuring agreement and consent between the two parties and their families. This tradition is not only a formal ceremony, but also a moment to strengthen social and cultural relations within the Ngaju Dayak community.

Abstract

North Sumatra is the best producing region for tobacco leaves which has a high reputation in plantations and has an influence on the economy of the city of Medan, North Sumatra. This research uses qualitative research methods with data collection techniques through literature study. Researchers also use steps in historical research such as (1) topic selection, (2) heuristics or source collection, (3) source verification or criticism, (4) interpretation and (5) historiography or historical writing. The research results show that the North Sumatra region is one of the regions that has an important position in the history of plantations in Indonesia from the colonial to post-colonial period.
