Abstract

In general, people with diabetes mellitus have trouble concentrating on sleeping well because they often want to urinate as a result of increased blood sugar levels. The purpose of this study was to analyze what factors affect sleep quality in elderly people with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The research method used a cross-sectional approach. Respondents consisted of 35 respondents with a sampling technique using purposive sampling. Measurements were carried out using the PSQI questionnaire (Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index), (PSS) Perceived Stress Scale, and Sociodemographic sheets. The results of multiple linear analysis tests obtained significant values ​​for age (0.041), duration of DM (0.037), co-morbidities (0.012), and psychological factors (0.027). In conclusion, the results of this study indicate that there are factors, namely age, duration of DM, comorbidities, and psychological factors that affect sleep quality in elderly people with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Abstract

With the increasing number of hospitals in Indonesia, service, professionalism and competence must be at a level that represents service quality. The quality of providing special impetus health services, including physiotherapy services, to understand patient expectations, which in turn can increase patient satisfaction and foster patient loyalty. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of patient satisfaction that is tangible, reliable, responsiveness, assurance, and emphatic at Kendari City Hospital. This study uses a phenomenological method and is qualitative in nature. Focus Group Discussion (FGD) analytical techniques were used in conjunction with observation, interviews, and other data collection methods. The results of the research conducted provide a statement that patient satisfaction with physiotherapy services at the Kendari city hospital has not run optimally. Of the five dimensions of service quality, there are four (4) service dimensions that are not optimal in supporting patient satisfaction. These four things are an uncomfortable waiting room, physiotherapists who don't explain procedures, narrow action rooms, rather long registration times, and fast therapy times.

Abstract

Hypertension or high blood pressure is a medical condition characterized by increased contractions. Arteries that exceed 140/90 mmHg at rest are confirmed to have high blood pressure. Non-pharmacological treatment of hypertension can use herbal plants, such as coconut water. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving coconut water on blood pressure in patients with hypertension. This study was limited from 2014 to 2023 and found 13 eligible articles sourced from the Google Scholar search engine with the keywords “coconut, blood pressure AND hypertension. The results of the study reported that from 13 articles found coconut water was effective in lowering blood pressure in patients with hypertension.

Abstract

Jaminan kesehatan yang diselenggarakan oleh pemerintah ini bertujuan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan dasar masyarakat dan memberikan kualitas yang memadai. Jika kualitas pelayanan baik maka akan menyeimbangkan kepuasan pasien. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan kualitas pelayanan fisioterapi dan BPJS terhadap kepuasan pasien di Kabupaten Malang. Desain penelitian menggunakan desain cross sectional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah pasien BPJS pengguna layanan fisioterapi di RSUD Kabupaten Malang yang bersedia menjadi bagian dari sampel. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode simple random sampling dengan jumlah 60 responden. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner SERVQUAL. Hasil uji korelasi menggunakan uji chi square nilai signifikansi < 0,01. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan antara kualitas pelayanan fisioterapi dengan kepuasan pasien BPJS.

Abstract

Currently, many pencak silat athletes have low leg muscle endurance, causing a high risk of injury which can affect the condition of the pencak silat athletes. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of circuit training on increasing lower limb muscle endurance in pencak silat athletes. The research method used quasi-experimental with a one group pretest-posttest design with a total of 21 respondents. The research instrument used the Jump Squat Test. By providing circuit training interventions 3x a week in 4 weeks. The result of the analysis test using shapiro wilk obtained a P-value of 0,000 > 0,005, so H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted, which means that there is an effect of circuit training on increasing lower limb muscle endurance in pencak silat athletes at UKM PSHT University of Muhammadiyah Malang.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a complex metabolic disorder characterized by hyperglycemia, which is an abnormal condition characterized by increased blood glucose levels caused by partial or total insulin insufficiency. Caused by two main factors, namely the occurrence of damaged insulin secretion in pancreatic β cells and the inability of the tissue to insulin to respond to insulin properly. Patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus have a low quality of life. This study used a cross-sectional study method. The research was conducted at the Pandanwangi Health Center in Malang City and the Dinoyo Health Center in Malang City from late March to early April 2023. The sample size for this study was 35 respondents. The research instruments were DQOL-BCI and MMAS-8. The analysis used to test the hypothesis in this study is multiple linear test analysis. the results of multiple linear analysis tests obtained a significant value for the duration of suffering from DM of 0.025 with a value of B being a minus value, which means that the longer you suffer from DM, the quality of life in the elderly with type 2 DM decreases. The conclusion from this study is that there are factors that influence quality of life in the elderly with type 2 diabetes mellitus in Malang City, namely the long-suffering factor.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Kematian akibat COVID-19 terus meningkat secara global, keberagaman strategi penatalaksanan selama pandemik menyebabkan tingginya angka penularan secara lokal. Indonesia saat ini berada pada tahap awal pandemi COVID-19, dimana situasi penyebaran COVID-19 yang sudah hampir menjangkau seluruh wilayah di Provinsi di Indonesia dengan jumlah kasus dan/atau jumlah kematian semakin meningkat. Penyedia layanan kesehatan, khususnya perawat tidak hanya mengalami peningkatan beban kerja tetapi juga perubahan psikologis yang berhubungan dengan kecemasan dan ketakutan yang dimana perawat dipaksa untuk menghadapi situasi tersebut. Tujuan: Untuk menggali pengalaman perawat dalam menangani pasien dengan COVID-19. Metode: Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologi dengan jumlah partisipan 1 laki-laki dan 9 perempuan. Wawancara dilakukan melalui bertemu langsung dan dianalisis dengan metode analisis tematik. Hasil: Terdapat 4 tema yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini yaitu perubahan yang dirasakan sejak menangani pasien dengan COVID-19, perilaku mengatasi perubahan yang dirasakan, kendala yang ditemui saat berdinas serta harapan selama merawat pasien dengan COVID-19. Saran: Dukungan menyeluruh baik secara moril maupun materil serta pelatihan intensif seperti pelatihan pra kerja, pelatihan adaptasi perawat pasien lain di departemen infeksi serta pelatihan bangsal tekanan negatif diperlukan perawat demi kesejahteraan perawat dan sebagai dasar yang cukup dalam memberikan asuhan keperawatan yang optimal bagi pasien.

Abstract

Salah satu faktor Ibu tidak memberikan ASI eksklusif kepada bayinya yaitu pengeluaran ASI tidak lancar. Pengeluaran ASI yang tidak lancar ini dapat dilakukan stimulasi. Teknik marmet merupakan kombinasi cara memerah ASI dan memijat payudara sehingga refleks ASI dapat optimal. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh teknik marmet terhadap kelancaran pengeluaran ASI pada ibu menyusui di Puskesmas Kayu Kunyit Kabupaten Bengkulu Selatan. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan quosi eksperimen dengan rancangan Pretest-Posttest control group design. Berdasarkan hasil penghitungan sampel, akan dibagi dalam dua kelompok, yaitu 17 orang pada kelompok intervensi dan 17 orang pada kelompok kontrol. Teknik memerah ASI menggunakan tangan selama 5 menit pada ibu nifas yang dilakukan oleh ibu selama 5 hari, dengan durasi 2 kali sehari setiap pagi dan sore hari dan kemudian dilakukan pengurusan sebelum dan setelah intervensi. Hasil uji statistik menggunakan Wilcoxon didapatkan pada kelompok intervensi menunjukkan nilai p value yaitu 0,001 (p<0,05). Maka penelitian ini menyimpilan terdapat pengaruh kelancaran pengeluaran ASI pada ibu menyusui yang dilakukan teknik marmet di Puskesmas Kayu Kunyit Kabupaten Bengkulu Selatan. Penelitian ini diharapkan mampu memberikan solusi bagi ibu hamil dalam meningkatkan pengetahuannya untuk upaya meningkatkan produksi ASI sehingga ibu dapat memberikan ASI secara optimal.
