Abstract

English is a language that used by people in the world. English can be learnt by students at school. This research aims to know the implementation of Total Physical Response (TPR) method towards English Language learning on Autism Student. The researcher used a case study with a qualitative descriptive approach. The method of data collection in this study is the observation method. The observations made by the researchers were participatory observations, and the researchers did not directly intervene with the object under investigation. The result of this research was TPR has been found suitable for early childhood use, TPR can also be used to teach English to children with autism. Children with autism have difficulty accessing learning content, such as lessons for non-autistic children. Autistic children usually have difficulty understanding spoken words relating to their language development. Keywords: learning, TPR, Autism Student

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi penerapan model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing berbantuan alat peraga dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Garuda Kota Tangerang. Model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing merupakan pendekatan yang melibatkan partisipasi aktif siswa dalam membangun dan mengembangkan pemahaman mereka melalui diskusi dan interaksi dengan teman sebaya. Alat peraga digunakan untuk memfasilitasi visualisasi konsep matematis yang abstrak menjadi lebih konkret dan mudah dipahami'). Metode penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi-eksperimental dengan desain kelompok kontrol non-ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen yang menerapkan model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing berbantuan alat peraga dan kelas kontrol yang menerapkan pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes pemahaman konsep matematis yang telah divalidasi sebelumnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing berbantuan alat peraga secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis pada siswa. Skor rata-rata pemahaman konsep matematis pada kelas eksperimen mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol. Selain itu, siswa juga menunjukkan tingkat motivasi dan partisipasi yang lebih tinggi dalam pembelajaran menggunakan model Snowball Throwing. Abstract

Nilai perusahaan dicerminkan oleh harga saham yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan eksternal. Faktor internal yang mempengaruhi nilai perusahaan diantaranya profitabilitas dan leverage. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah profitabilitas dan leverage mamiliki pengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan pada perusahaan manufaktur sektor industri barang konsumsi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2019-2021. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu perusahaan sektor industri barang konsumsi yang terdaftar di BEI periode 2019-2021. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah metode purposive sampling sehingga didapat 26 perusahaan. Penelitian menggunakan jenis data sekunder dengan metode analisis regresi berganda pada program SPSS 25. Hasil pengujian variabel profitabilitas menunjukan nilai thitung sebesar 6,426 > dari ttabel 1,992 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,00 < 0,05. Pada variabel leverage nilai thitung 1,348 < dari ttabel 1,992 dengan taraf signifikansi 0,182>0,05. Hasil pengujian secara simultan menunjukan nilai fhitung 23,429> ftabel 3.12 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,00<0,05. Simpulan yang dapat diambil yaitu variabel profitabilitas berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan sedangkan variabel leverage tidak berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan. Hasil pengujian secara simultan menunjukan profitabilitas dan leverage berpengauh terhadap nilai perusahaan.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the application of critical thinking conducted by Indonesian EFL pre-service teachers in English instruction. This study focused on four pre-service teacher participants and used a qualitative approach, narrative research design with observation and interviews as data collection instruments. This study addresses to Bloom Taxonomy critical thinking framework. The result the application of critical thinking applied by pre-service teachers is at a low to moderate level. Abstract

This study aims to describe the mental attitude of the character Aletta Arkanza in the Novel I'm A Good Girl by Zahrani Salsabila. This study uses the study of literary psychology by utilizing Carl Gustav Jung's theory. This research is a type of qualitative research that is descriptive in nature. The source of the research data is text in the form of words or sentences that show the attitude of the character Aletta Arkanza's theory by Carl Gustav Jung. Data collection techniques in this study are using library research, reading techniques and note-taking techniques. The data in this study were analyzed using data analysis techniques by identifying, classifying, analyzing, describing, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the attitude of the soul in the character Aletta Arkanza has two characteristics, namely introvert and extrovert. Abstract

The perception of higher education students towards synchronous and asynchronous learning modes plays a vital role in determining the success of these pedagogical approaches. Students' preferences and attitudes towards these modes can impact their engagement, motivation, and overall learning outcomes. Thus, this research aimed to analyze the students’ perception on the modes of English learning activities employed a descriptive quantitative and qualitative approach. Students of all majors became the respondents and filled online questionnaire via Google form. There were 464 respondents filled in the questionnaire. The result showed that students were fully aware of the implementation, characteristics, and consequences of these two learning modes. Furthermore, students can shift and adapt with ease to the modes employed. Then, it can be concluded that students have adapted to the modes of learning and face no difficulty in the employment of synchronous and asynchronous classes.
