Abstract

PT. Ultra Prima Plast - Flexible Packaging always performs a trial period on every new employee. In appointment of new employee candidate required selection process and proper observation during the trial period to maximize the quality of the prospective employee, so far decision-making in the appointment of employees after the completion of the trial period is still done manually by using the assessment of several criteria. The criteria used from the assessment of employee performance are: absenteeism, quality of work, initiative, discipline, responsibility, communication ability and organizational skills. The purpose of holding research on PT. Ultra Prima Plast is to find out what problems or constraints exist in managing employee data, refining existing processes and getting new employee appointments using Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. As for data collection methods, the authors used literature study methods, field studies and interviews. In system development, writer use tool (model) of structured system modeling with design tool that is Diagram Unified Modeling Language (UML). Implementation and program design using PHP programming language and MYSQL database. Therefore the authors lift the title "Design Decision Support System (DSS) Application Employee Appointment Using Simple Additive Weighting Method (SAW) At PT. Ultra Prima Plast - Flexible Packaging”

Abstract

In the business of transportation, accurate information about the availability of vehicles at a time is very important. This is closely related to the quality of service to customers in terms of order fulfillment, whether the customer's order can be met or served well or not.There are 2 parts that serve to serve the needs of customers, namely the marketing and transportation operations. The marketing always tries to find new customers or retain existing customers by providing the best service: cargo customers can be transported in accordance with the number of vehicles required and in accordance with the agreed schedule. The operationaltransportation undertakes the scheduling of vehicle, vehicle plotting and drivers. In addition, transportation operations should be able to provide correct data or information about the availability of vehicles to marketing. If the data is inaccurate, it can lead to internal conflicts between the two parties. For example, marketing has promised 10 vehicles to fulfill the customer's order at one time, but when the cargo of the customer has to be transported, the number of vehicle is insufficient. A visualization matrix is ​​needed to answer the problem.By looking at the matrix, then all parties will know how many units of vehicles are available at a time, so that the transport of customer cargo can be planned better

Abstract

Fabrication process is often disrupted by non–deterministic job, this create a problem in the Pre-Fabrication department schedule because often the manufacture of raw material for non-deterministic job should given priority. This problem also affected by the existing system which is not yet fully developed to solve the problem of optimize rescheduling master line (seen from total makespan time). Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) variant Ant System (AS) was proposed to solve Job Shop Scheduling Problem (JSSP) with the objective to propose the best schedule that give shortest makespan. The algorithm tested to perform scheduling of 5 projects (consist of 10 parts) as the initial job, and another 2 projects (consist of 4 parts) as the non-deterministic job. For the initial job, makespan was 287 days and after the arrival of non-deterministic job, makespan was 362 days compare with the actual manufacturing time (7 project consist of 14 parts) which is ± 511 days

Abstract

This research was designed descriptively by using the theory of some experts summarized and reconstructed through qualitative research approach. Data collection was carried out by interviewing, observing, and documenting techniques and was added through data analysis using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. The result of the research shows that Tracer Study process is to evaluate the competencies needed by the world of work is needed by the university so that there is no distance between the higher education world and the real working world in society. The obstacles faced by universities in doing tracer study is at the time of data collection. Some universities still collect data manually by distributing questionnaire papers and telephone interviews to alumni and companies. Therefore, it is necessary to design a complete Tracer Study application, which can provide information for universities to improve curriculum, trace alumni in detail and find out the satisfaction of college graduates

Abstract

Liquid Petroleum Gas or well-known as LPG Gas is now a staple for every household in Indonesia, we often hear the explosion due to leakage from LPG gas cylinders in the room. Not a few casualties are falling as a result of LPG gas leak in this room. LPG gas that leaks in a closed room can be dangerous because the leaking gas cannot get out of the room, triggered either by matches, gas compost, gas is struck which causes a fire and even a great explosion. This is the background of this research, the author wants to make a prototype device that can prevent the occurrence of explosions or gas fires in the kitchen or a room. The method used in this study is a trial method, assembling microcontroller tools to enter program logic into it that can know that a gas leak has occurred. Not only that, after the device can detect that there has been a LPG gas leak in a room, then the device can also function as an anticipation of an explosion or fire, by automatically opening the kitchen or room window, by opening the room / kitchen window, then the gas will automatically exit the room and the fire and explosion will not occur. When a device detects a gas leak in the kitchen, the alarm will automatically sound as well as a tool to open the door as an automatic handling to avoid fire or explosion. So a series of processes and logic from this tool if applied in a kitchen or room will be able to become a system that works automatically in the detection, notifying, and anticipating the occurrence of fire or explosion due to LPG gas leak

Abstract

Industrial competition that is increasingly stringent requires companies to optimize all of their resources, including human resources, namely workers in producing high quality products. The safety and health of the workers must be considered, which is carried out based on the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (SMK3) applied by the related company. The obligation to implement SMK3 is regulated in Law No. 13 of 2003 concerning manpower. This journal describes how the implementation of SMK3 can be an effort to achieve zero accident. Abstract

Being a company with a high level of productivity is the goal of all companies. If a company or organization has high productivity, the company or organization can be called an advanced company. PT GMF AeroAsia is one that always tries to increase its productivity. PT GMF AeroAsia is a company engaged in aircraft maintenance or known as Maintenance Repair and Overhoul (MRO). PT GMF AeroAsia always tries to improve its performance through increased manhours productivity. If the productivity productivity increases every year, the company's revenue or revenue can increase as well, thus the company will progress and develop to be equal to the world's top ten (10) Maintenance and Overhoul (MRO) companies as the vision of PT GMF AeroAsia is to become a top ten MRO in the World. Therefore, the research will be carried out by analyzing the performance through manhours productivity in every maintenance project in the base maintenance, especially in cabin base maintenance. In this study, an executive information system (EIS) in the form of a dashboard for decision makers such as managers, general managers and vice presidents will be proposed. The aim is as a source of information to identify, control performance and can help and support as a source of information for leaders in deciding wise and strategic decisions on performance, especially the performance of cabin base maintenance units at PT GMF AeroAsia

Abstract

In designing a beautiful and attractive web, for ordinary people it certainly looks very difficult. So from that the advantage of learning to use learning media using multimedia is that people can see firsthand how and the steps? And the results of how they are made can be seen immediately. Compare this with a book that has a step by step guide, but people will feel confused because not a few books give results that are not in accordance with the method. Learning media that will be displayed in the form of a website display. With the help of Photoshop CS6 and Adobe Dreamweaver application we can make web display easier and also create websites without direct contact with the programming language. Multimedia-based learning aims to facilitate students in understanding each method of web design techniques. In this study discussed how to design web using Photoshop CS6 with the help of slice tool. Multimedia-based web design learning media uses three methods, namely web designing in Photoshop CS6, adding code with Adobe Dreamweaver, and making learning videos using Camtasia Studio 8, the learning videos produced can be seen with the .wav .flv .swf format with CD quality, DVD. The results of this study were conducted to develop multimedia-based learning media so that the material delivered was easier to understand.

Abstract

The development of CCTV technology makes it easier for a user in monitoring and monitoring a room or environment. But the lack of CCTV is a price that is still not reached by all levels of society. Because of this, it is necessary to build a new system that has the same features with CCTV tools in circulation but with a more affordable price.The new system is built by utilizing the openWRT operating system. The openWRT operating system will be installed on a wireless router with some additional tools to support its functionality such as speakers, soundcards, loudspeakers, webcam and flashdrive. The resulting system will have the ability to detect motion, the system is also capable of storing images, video and send snapshots via email when detected suspicious motion. In addition, this system also has some other features such as alarm alerts, motion detection scheduling so that its usage can be set as needed and easy access via internet so that can be accessed anywhere as long as connected to the internet
