Abstract

Organizations in the present era prioritize smart work rather than hard work. Not infrequently the group has the character of wanting everything to be achieved instantly or in a shorter time. Based on data from the Central Bureau of Statistics of the Republic of Indonesia, in 2016 the number of workers from the X generation group was almost the same as the number of millennial workers. The Babby Boomers generation group continued to decline in number. Slowly, the X generation of workers will also experience the same thing. This phenomenon has been marked by the arrival of the millennial generation as a workforce that increasingly makes the composition of the generation of Babby Boomers diminishing in 2014 and 2016). This explains that the transition of generations of workers is  impossible to avoid or in other words the law of demand and supply applies to human resources in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze job preferences (job preferences) in groups of generation X workers based on work values. This research is quantitative research using multiple  regression analysis and SPSS. The error rate in this study uses the magnitude of 5%. Using 102 samples of this study explains that Job Preference is partially influenced by factors of self-realization and welfare guarantees but Job Preference for gen-X workers is not influenced by factors of work environment harmony and material factors. Simultaneously, Job Preference for gen-X workers is influenced by the factors of material conditions, selfrealization,  harmonization of the work environment and welfare factors. Keywords: job preference, work value, work environment

Abstract

Efforts to realize the performance of SOEs is a very urgent requirement. This is related to the state ministry in Indonesia stakeholder‟s strategic plan 2012-2014. One important element in achieving this is improving the Quality Planning, Human Resources and Financial Management that can act as a surveillance tool as well as performance drivers. Therefore, through this study has explored: (1) the quality of work life, such as career plane, (2) organizational citizenship behavior, such as work ethic issues, and (3) employee engagement, such as remuneration policy issues. The research was conducted by applying a survey of 429 people Associate Manager at 141 state-owned enterprises in Indonesia. Data was collected by indirect communication techniques through instruments such as questionnaires and interview techniques through limited direct communication and documentation study. The study was conducted from January 2011, which ended December 31, 2012. The data processing techniques with descriptive analysis, the weighted mean score and inferential analysis of the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results showed that: (1) Quality of work life, organizational citizenship behavior, employee engagement in SOEs in Indonesia showed a good condition, but not optimal, (2) quality of working life and organizational citizenship behaviors have a positive and significant effect on state employee engagement in Indonesia. The implications of this research, requiring hard work of the managers at levels 1 and 2 under the above directors and executive managers, to accommodate the interests of the manager as agent, and as the principal stakeholder‟s interests. Abstract

This study aims to determine how the effects of the use of capital (derived from debt and own capital) is used by companies of the rate of return on equity. Is the policy for the withdrawal of debt has just run in the sense of providing a beneficial effect for the owners of the company. Hypothesis os : if the level of rate of return of the acquired company is greater than the amount the interest rate, then the withdrawal will have a positive debt to rate of return on equity. Analysis is done using quantitative analysis for the purpose of comparingthe theory that become the guidelines applied by the company’s application and the rentability analysis and quantitative analysis tools with ration analysis. Profit margin, operating Turnover assets, rate of return and rate of return on equity. From the results of research conducted was even its own capital rentability of the company acquired during the year under study shows a growing trend (5.35%, 6.78%, 11.68%, 8.66%) but the actual level of rtaae of return of own capital it can be achieved even greater (ie could reach 7.01%, 9.78%, 12.43%, 11.44%) if only the company during the year no interest loan.  Key Words- Debt, equity, rate of return.

Abstract

The management is required to always introspect condition of the company, especially in terms of financialnya, because it holds the key to life and death of the company. The condition that the  company should always be monitored, can be done by analyzing the financial statements themselves, which generally consist of a balance sheet and income statement. Through the analysis of the financial statements can be found successful achievement of achievement demonstrated by the absence of a healthy financial statements, which is the basis of performance appraisal or part of the existing work in the company.Used in this study to analyze the financial statements is Du Pont, aims to determine the state of Indigenous Village Credit Institutions Bangkang Baktiseraga which was done by measuring the financial performance. Analysis of Du Pont is one of the techniques that are thorough financial analysis, management can determine the level of efficiency of capital use. Financial performance results obtained from the calculation of Return on Assets and Return on Equity from year to year decline, but is still in good health as above average standard of Bank Indonesia. Village Credit Institutions should determine the condition of future performance in order to be a better performance than the previous year and the profit achieved will also be maximized. Key words: Financial Performance, LPD, ROA, ROE, Du Pont Analysis

Abstract

The famous method to determine and solve transportation problem is the transportation model and the assignment model. We see how to develop an initial solution to the transportation problem with VAM (Vogel’s Approximation Method) and MODI (Modified Distribution) and Northwest Corner rule and the Stepping-Stone method. VAM is not quite as simple as the Northwest Corner approach, but it facilitates a very good initial solution, as a matter of fact, one that is often the optimal solution. The Assignment method, which is simple and faster to solve the transportation problem by reducing the numbers (cost) in the table/tableau until a series of zeros is found, or zero opportunity costs, which means that we will reach the optimal cost allocations. Once we have reached the optimal cost allocations, we then allocate each sources or supply according to some points of demand (destinations). Assignment Method is a specialized form of optimization linear programming model that attempts to assign limited capacity to various demand points in a way that minimizes costs. The special cases of transportation problem included degeneracy (a condition that occurs when the number of occupied squares in any solution is less than the number of rows plus the number of columns minus 1 in a transportation table), unbalanced problems, and multiple optimal solutions. At this opportunity, we would like to demonstrate the multiple optimal solutions. We will see how the Assignment method may be viewed as a special case of solving the transportation problem. Keywords : Assignment method, VAM and MODI, Northwest Corner and Stepping-Stone.

Abstract

Financial report is an important tool for the user to appraise company performance. In company’s financial report we usually use some ratios; those ratios are liquidity ratio, leverage ratio, activity ratio, and profitability ratio. Beside those financial ratios, in this research the journalist added Z-score analysis to find out bankruptcy possibility. Higher Z-Scores has shown us the lower bankruptcy possibilty. The writers choose PT Ciputra Development Tbk. and PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk. to observe because both companies have a lot of experience in property industry. From the research, we found out that PT Lippo Karawaci has a better financial ratio and Z-Scores than PT. Ciputra Development Tbk. and for the company, the result of the research could be important input to company’s strategic planning. Keyword : Financial Report, financial ratios, Z-Scores

Abstract

This research examines the important issues of multidimensional poverty and social protection. Utilizing the raw data set of Survei Sosial Ekonomi Nasional (SUSENAS) 2014, the empirical findings are estimated by Structural Equation Modelling Bootstrap Aggregating (SEM BAGGING). The method of Structural Equation Modelling Bootstrap Aggregating (SEM BAGGING) is a statistical technique that estimates the pattern of relationship between latent variables and indicators using bootstrap resampling to get a small bias from an original estimation. The estimation results found a statictically negative significant between education, health and quality of lives and multidimensional poverty. Moreover, empirical evidence shows a statistically positive effect multidimensional poverty on social protection in Indonesia. These results are robust across different estimation methods and different level of bootstrap resampling. Keywords : Multidimensional Poverty, Social Protection, SEM BAGGING
