Abstract

In the development of road infrastructure development, many are still found to be less than optimal in its implementation, not on time, and contract termination. One of them is road improvement work in Dharmasraya Regency. This study aims to identify the role of consultants in the performance of road projects in Dharmasraya Regency and to assess the most dominant role of consultants that influence the success of a road construction project. This research was conducted using a quantitative method. The data source uses primary data obtained from interviews and secondary data obtained from literature reviews. The research population was 81 respondents consisting of the owner, namely the Dharmasraya Regency PU Service, supervisory consultants, and implementing contractors involved in road construction and improvement projects in Dharmasraya Regency for the 2020 to 2022 budget years. The research sample used was the entire population. Data analysis techniques used factor analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results of the study found 61 sub-factors or variables that were the role of consultants in the successful implementation of road construction projects in Dharmasraya Regency. The dominant factor that is the role of consultants in controlling the implementation of road supervision in Dharmasraya Regency is the task factor with the sub-factor of coordinating all construction supervision personnel for each implementation of field measurements or engineering. The factors that are the role of consultants in controlling the implementation of road supervision in Dharmasraya Regency greatly influence costs, quality, and time with levels of influence reaching 48.3%; 56.8%; and 55.7% respectively.

Abstract

Infrastructure Assets and Facilities are basic requirements for economic development and growth, both are not simple objects and require huge costs. In addition, the relationship between the two with the aspect of election is very important. Because there is no maintenance of the physical assets of communal WWTP in Sungai TFull City, often the units on the WWTP are damaged so that it can hinder the wastewater treatment process. The less optimal performance of WWTP is influenced by human resources, machinery and equipment, as well as problems in the series of WWTP processes. The research method that is used is a quantitative method with the distribution of questionnaires to the respondents involved. The purpose of this study is to identify the factors and dominant factors of the operational performance of the maintenance of physical assets of wastewater treatment plants in Sungai TFull City, as well as to provide strategic strategies to improve the maintenance operations of physical assets of wastewater treatment plants in Sungai TFull City. The results of the research conducted are 5 factors in the operational performance of the maintenance of physical assets of wastewater treatment plants in Sungai TFull City, which consists of cost factors, human resource factors, work method factors, and equipment factors.

Abstract

The asphalt concrete layer is the top layer of road pavement construction which is in direct contact with vehicle wheel loads and the influence of weather. One type of asphalt concrete layer is Asphalt Concrete – Wearing Course (AC–WC). Asphalt functions as an aggregate adhesive. In asphalt concrete mixtures it is very important to maintain its characteristics. During the maintenance period, the mixture will easily experience striping or peeling of the asphalt from the aggregate. To maintain and improve the properties of asphalt, one way is to use an anti-striping additive, this additive is Wetfix-Be, which is a compound that contains chemicals. Anti-peeling materials are only used if the residual Marshall stability value (IRS-Index of Retained Stability) or the Indirect Tensile Strength Ratio (ITSR) value of the asphalt mixture before adding the anti-peeling agent is less than required. If an anti-flaking agent must be used then before the anti-flaking agent is added to the mixture, the residual marshall stability (after 24 hour immersion, 60 °C) must be at least 75%.

Abstract

Heavy traffic, especially from large vehicles passing through the road, can potentially cause congestion and increase air pollution. Ambient air quality can significantly decrease due to vehicle emissions, impacting public health and environmental quality. This study focuses on monitoring ambient air quality during road preservation work conducted along the route of Jalan Bts. Prov. Sumsel – Tempino – Pal. Sepuluh – Lingkar Timur – Sp. Sijenjang – Pel. Talang Duku in Muaro Jambi Regency.objective of this research is to analyze the ambient air quality at th road preservation work sites. The research method applied is a survey method with the selection of three locations along the road segment: 1. AMP Tempino, located at coordinates LS 01°47’01.23’’ BT 103°28’27.56’’; 2. STA 11+050 located at coordinates LS 01°45’51’’ BT 103°33’23’’; and 3. Ruas Simpang Paal. X, located at coordinates LS 01°40’12’’ BT 103°36’1’’. This research is descriptive in nature, focusing on the observation and analysis of ambient air quality according to the SNI 7119-3:2017 standard for each test parameter. The results show that at the AMP Tempino site, Particulate dust is 46,50 µg/Nm³,Sulfur Dioxide is 99,88 µg/Nm³, and Carbon Monoxide is 6563,05 µg/Nm³. The highest Nitrgen Dioxide level of 47,88 µg/Nm³ was recorded at STA 11+050, and the highest level of Photochemical Oxidants as Ozone at 41,76 µg/Nm³ was found at Ruas Simpang Paal. X. All test parameters are below the standard quality limits. Overall, Carbon Monoxide has the highest concentration across all locations, while Nitrogen Dioxide often shows the lowest values

Abstract

Roads are land transportation infrastructure which includes all parts of the road. Good road conditions really support the smooth running of the economy in an area so that road maintenance is very important so that the smooth running of the economy is not disrupted by poor road infrastructure. The form of road maintenance depends on the results of the assessment of the condition of the damage. The road surface has been determined visually, the method used is the Surface Distress Index (SDI) method. According to Suswandi (2008), assessing the level of road damage is an important aspect in determining road maintenance and repair activities. Small damage that is not immediately anticipated causes the damage to become more severe, the impact becomes wider and reduces the capacity of the road itself. Therefore, researchers want to technically review the condition of the surface pavement of Jalan Swadaya Raya in Alam Barajo District using this method visually, with a length of 800 m and a width of 4 m experiencing damage in several segments which is quite disturbing the smooth running of the road.

Abstract

The Siulak Deras Irrigation canal network is the main source of water distribution in several areas. The Siulak Deras Irrigation Area in Kerinci Regency was built in 1993 with water flow regulation and complete Siulak Deras Irrigation network facilities including the Technical irrigation group. As time goes by, the service function of the irrigation network experiences a decline in performance, so that operation and maintenance of the irrigation network is an activity that is really needed to make the irrigation network remain optimal and maintain its performance. In this regard, an assessment of the Performance Index of the irrigation system in the Siulak Deras Irrigation Area needs to be carried out to determine the value of aspects or components that are not yet optimal in this irrigation area so that special treatment can be immediately carried out or improved. The assessment is carried out by starting an inventory of the condition and function of the physical infrastructure of the irrigation network, planting productivity results, supporting facilities, organization, documentation and institutional P3A to determine the performance value and recommendations for handling it. The results of the irrigation network system performance index in the Siulak Deras irrigation area for the Left Irrigation Channel section are 69.59%, which means that the irrigation system performance is close to good performance, namely 70%, but still needs to be improved and needs attention. With a physical infrastructure value of 29.32%, planting productivity 14.21%, supporting facilities 6.15%, personnel organization 10.94%, documentation 2.46%, and P3A institutions 6.50%. Based on the performance index value obtained, and the total performance score in the form of a percentage, it is necessary to specifically maintain and repair physical facilities and infrastructure at several points that are damaged, facilitate supporting facilities for OP officers so that officers can act quickly and precisely in carrying out activities, and paying more attention to P3A so that it can always contribute to maintaining and utilizing the Siulak Deras irrigation network properly and optimally in the future.
