Abstract

Factors causing death in Indonesia are increasing, and many of them cannot identified with certainty. This study aims to identify the most common causes of death in Indonesia. such as causes of death due to social disasters, causes of death due to natural disasters, and causes of death due to non-natural disasters and diseases. This study employs a dataset method from www.kaggle.com with a time span of 2012-2021. The results of this study are reports in the form of a visualization dashboard using Tableau that contains information on the most common causes that occur in Indonesia with a range from 2012 to 2021 so that it can be used as a reference to support decision-making. In conclusion, the number of deaths in 2012–2021 was caused by the highest number of deaths due to natural disasters caused by earthquakes and tsunamis, which accounted for 2,615 deaths. Furthermore, the most cases of death due to non-natural disasters and diseases were caused by COVID-19, namely 144,094 deaths. And the most cases of death due to social disasters were caused by social conflict or social unrest, with 69 deaths.

Abstract

The development of information technology allows many people to communicate at any time with various media, one of which is the exchange of messages. However, many people do not realize that there are security holes that are used by irresponsible parties to commit crimes such as theft of messages, intercepting messages, and changing the contents of messages. One technique for securing messages is cryptography. Cryptography is the science and art of keeping messages secure when messages are sent from one place to another. Several cryptographic methods that can be used are Advanced Encryption Standard and Caesar Cipher, because the Advanced Encryption Standard method has high security for message security while the Caesar Cipher method has the advantage of being fast in calculations. The combination of these two algorithms in making secret messages is implemented in the form of a mobile-based application to make it easier for users to make secret messages. The results of the encrypted messages formed are difficult to decrypt because they go through 2 stages of the encryption process so that the contents of important messages can be guaranteed confidentiality.

Abstract

Currently, many purchases of goods can be found electronically or known as e-wallets. E-wallet is a form of Fintech (Finance Technology) that utilizes internet media and is used as an alternative payment method. Several other types of e-wallets: Dana, Shopeepay, Gopay, Ovo, Sakuku. This study discusses the best recommendations among types of E-wallet using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method and the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). Both of these methods are able to make more accurate assessments and predetermined preference weights. Based on calculations using the SAW and TOPSIS methods, the first best e-wallet ranking is DANA, the second is Shopeepay, and the third is Gopay.

Abstract

Every area of the community there is information, news, announcements or notifications through print media such as pictures, banners, posters and paper. However, there are many foreign languages (English) in the information which makes people not understand the language, because people only understand their own regional language (Sundanese) and the lack of media to help people understand the regional language (Sundanese) to a foreign language (English). Therefore, the author takes research on android-based text detection. Text detection or called Optical Character Recognition (OCR) is a system that can detect text into data files that can be processed in such a way. The method of collecting data or information in this study uses qualitative, the method for developing this system uses the waterfall method which has the advantage of being able to accelerate system development and using a backpropagation algorithm for text recognition. Backpropagation algorithm is an algorithm that can minimize errors, so as to make text detection more accurate. The results of the text detection accuracy are 97% and the error accuracy results are 3%, the text accuracy results are taken from a total of 14 samples, and 68 words. The results of text detection are affected by several cases such as the type of text font, the level of light in the image and the direction in which the photo or image is taken.

Abstract

Vegetables are foodstuffs of plant origin that can be consumed fresh and have various health benefits. However, not a few people do not know the types of vegetables and will find it difficult to find the vegetables they want. This research aims to make it easier for people to find vegetables by classifying them. Researchers developed a model using the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) method with a total of 15 datasets with a total of 3000 image data. Researchers conducted training datasets with 3 types of epochs, including 20 epochs, 50 epochs and 100 epochs. The training produces accuracy and training loss, with the highest accuracy belonging to Epoch 50 and Epoch 100 and the lowest level of training loss is owned by Epoch 100 with a total of 0.609. However, after the model was deployed, the accuracy results obtained were not as high as the tests conducted on Google Colab. Tests were carried out on several objects, including carrots with an accuracy of 69%, cabbage with an accuracy of 53%, and papaya with an accuracy of 82%. The difference in accuracy results may be caused by objects that are less identical to the datasets or can also be caused by imperfect models. Even so, this application can already be used to classify types of vegetables.

Abstract

The spread of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak, which has spread so quickly throughout the world, has caused anxiety and sadness for humanity to grieve. Starting from Wuhan China since the end of January 2020. The World Health Organization (WHO) has determined the phenomenon of this incident as a pandemic. A pademic occurs when an infectious disease spreads easily from human to human in various places in all corners of the world. Until the last two weeks, cases of Covid-19 outside China have increased thirteen times, causing concern for the world community. This research tries to provide solutions to the problem of how to develop and access LMS for learning anywhere and anytime (ubiquitos learning) both online and offline, using mobile devices that have limited connections. The M-LMS application being developed will be in the form of a prototype that takes the open source Moodle LMS model, and will focus on only a few important modules, namely the Subject Description module, Assignment module, Quiz module, Subject matter module. In its implementation, this research will be divided into three stages, namely pre-development data collection, development and implementation, and post-development data collection. The pre-development data collection is intended to obtain provision for a preliminary study of the core problems being faced, while the development and implementation stages focus on modeling software designs into diagrams and creating programming code to implement the designs that have been made. While the post-development data collection stages are for improving the applications made, drawing conclusions, and suggestions for further research topics.

Abstract

Cyber-crime is becoming more massive as online activities increase. Cybercrime is a criminal act that exploits digital technology to damage, harm, and destroy property. Therefore, it is crucial for internet users to have knowledge of cybersecurity and the world of technology and the internet in order to avoid falling victim to cybercrime. The aim of this study is to develop a chatbot system as a centralized information medium on cybersecurity, technology, and the internet for internet users. The development of this chatbot aims to reduce the risks of cybercrimes and help enhance internet users' awareness of cybercrime. This research employs the AI Project Cycle method in chatbot development and utilizes the Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) deep learning model algorithm to develop a model that achieves high accuracy. The training results of the LSTM model achieved an accuracy score of 100% and a loss of 3.09% with 400 epochs. Consequently, it can be concluded that the LSTM algorithm is highly effective for training and developing a chatbot model.

Abstract

Saat ini perkembangan teknologi sangat pesat seiring dengan kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan di bidang teknologi dan komunikasi. Salah satunya dalam pemasaran dan mempromosikan produk berbasis online. Pada kelompok wanita tani Subur Lestari cara penjualannya masih dengan bertatap muka langsung atau datang langsung ke tempat pembuatan produk, dengan cara seperti ini masih kurang efektif dan juga belum banyak yang mengetahui tentang produk ini. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut, dibutuhkan sebuah sistem informasi yang dapat membantu dalam penjualan secara online agar pelanggan dapat mengetahui informasi mengenai produk yang ditawarkan. Sistem ini dibuat dengan menggunakan metode waterfall, bahasa pemrograman PHP dan MySQL sebagai database servernya. Sistem ini dapat membantu untuk mengelola data sehingga memudahkan untuk mengetahui dan mengevaluasi usaha yang sedang dijalankan.

Abstract

Unemployment is a major social problem in many regions, including West Java province in Indonesia. West Java province is one of the most populous regions with a high level of urbanization. With population growth and urbanization, the challenge of creating enough jobs becomes more difficult. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to cluster open unemployment data in West Java communities classified by the number of unemployed people by district or city. This research uses CRISP-DM method with K-Means clustering algorithm. The result of this research is 10 regencies/cities that have low level of unemployment, then there are 15 regencies/cities that have medium level of unemployment and there are 2 regencies/cities that have high level of unemployment. The result of the test using Davies Bouldin Index cluster = 3 has the best cluster quality, because the value of the Davies Bouldin Index test result with c = 3 is the smallest value of 0.28, which is the lower, the better the cluster.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate usability on the user's M-Pise LPD Digital application page in Jembrana Regency by using the usability testing method with Performance Measurement and RTA (Retrospective Think Aloud) techniques. The usability aspects reviewed are effectiveness, efficiency, and user satisfaction. In this study there were 20 respondents who were involved consisting of a group of advanced respondents and a group of novice respondents. The results showed that (1) the M-Pise LPD Digital application was still not effective when viewed from errors (errors) when the respondent was doing the task, (2) the M-Pise LPD Digital application in terms of efficiency has proven to be efficient seen from statistical testing Mann Whiteney showed that there was no difference in time between the beginner and advanced groups of respondents so that it could be said to be efficient, (3) User satisfaction was still unsatisfied as seen from the SUS questionnaire score of 64. Thus the M-Pise application page did not have good usability. Thus the recommendations for improvement given are based on the results of performance measurements, namely errors. Recommendations for improvement will focus on improving menu components and features. Meanwhile, based on the results of the problems and suggestions for the results of the RTA, namely simplification of features and improvements as well as clarity of the layout of letters, numbers and icons.
