Jurnal El-'Umdah ini merupakan jurnal yang fokus pada kajian ilmu al-Qur’an dan tafsir jurnal ini didesain untuk memberikan ruang dan mendialogkan dengan ilmu-ilmu yang lain yang sejalan dengan desain keilmuan UIN Mataram. Jurnal ini merupakan jurnal yang dimiliki oleh jurusan Ilmu al-Qur’an dan Tasir fakultas Ushuluddin dan Studi Agama. Bagi para peneliti, dosen, mahasiswa, praktisi dan sebagainya yang mempunyai latar belakang keilmuan ini bisa memberikan kontribusi terhadap jurnal ini untuk pengembangan keilmuan. Abstract

One of the discourses that has always been a polemic is between divine religions regarding their concept of divinity in terms of their uluhiyyah. Although they are seen as having similarities in monotheism, they have quite paradigmatic differences. This article aims to have a dialogue about the theology of the Salib in the Qur'an Surah An-Nisaa verse 157 which is considered an accusation against the death of Jesus. Meanwhile, the Jews considered the crucifixion as a form of humiliation that Jesus had to experience as a disturbance to society. This attitude of exclusivism is inherent in every religious community. Being moderate is very necessary in this kind of case. This is where broad religious insight is needed to become a moderate person. This diversity in diversity is a challenge as well as a problem that must be solved. This verse is interpreted with the view of Fakhruddin Ar-Razi in his Tafsir al-Kabir interpretation which ultimately concludes that Jesus was raised and saved by Allah. Either the lifting of the soul as well as the body to the sky, or lifting it in the sense of exalting its position and degree, being exalted and glorified.

Abstract

Religion can be likened to a straight bridge to human life. Whether a person or a community of people is bad depends on how humans interpret religion as their way of life, and only Islam is the only religion that can be such a straight bridge. Seeing the current reality where damage occurs in every inch of life to become a disease of society that is difficult to cure which in social science is called social pathology. To restore a harmonious social life, reviving religious values as one of the social controls is a necessity. As a social control, religion is very effective in answering the solution of social problems that occur today, a dry life of divine values. Long before social problems or social pathologies were widely discussed by sociologists, the Qur'an as a source of life guidelines had informed about the existence of symptoms of this social pathology even though it did not use popular language in the study of social sciences. For example, the words al-S?' and f?hisyah contained in the Quran have meanings that are in harmony with the meaning of social pathology, such as murder, adultery or cheating, homosexuals and lesbians, and so on. This paper will only discuss one of the perspectives of the concept of social pathology in the Qur'an, namely the terms al-S?' and f?hisyah with the scope they contain.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bermaksud menggali berbagai nilai ajaran Islam yang dapat dijadikan sebagai kode etik karakter seorang pemimpin dalam perspektif al-Qur’an menurut Tafsir al-Misbah karya M. Quraish Shihab. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif berupa penelitian kepustakaan (Library Reseach).  Sumber data primer yang digunakan adalah al-Qur’an dan kitab Tafsir al-Misbah karya M. Quraish Shihab. Sedangkan sumber data sekunder yang digunakan adalah berbagai literatur ilmiah yang relevan dengan objek inti penelitian ini. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian konseptual dengan pendekatan filosofis-normatif. Sedangkan sifat pendekatan penelitian ini adalah deskriptif-analitik dan preskriptif.  Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat berbagai karakter yang harus ditanamkan oleh seorang pemimpin yang dapat dijadikan sebagai nilai karakter kepemimpinan, seperti Siddiq (jujur), Amanah (dapat dipercaya), Tabligh (menyampaikan), dan Fatanah (Kecerdasan). Upaya-upaya dalam membentuk pemimpin yang berkarakter dapat dilakukan dengan olah jiwa, pembiasaan, keteladanan, dan lingkungan.

Abstract

Research on the criticism of the Qur'an against the excessive sacralization of the monotheistic symbol is motivated by the emergence of a religious purification movement with the sacred symbols of monotheism that seeks to abolish syncretic Islamic culture. This movement claims to be the purest form of Islamic teachings, while customs are considered to be able to eliminate the authenticity of Islamic teachings so that they turn into shirk and heresy. Then this movement often disbelieves in other Muslim groups (takfirism). However, the excessive sacralization of the monotheistic symbol can actually turn the sacred symbol of monotheism into profane, if it is associated with the sacred and profane theory of Emile Durkheim which states that something sacred should not be mixed with the profane, such as the sentence of monotheism which was originally sacred (holy) turned into profane when used only for worldly purposes.

Abstract

Kiblat merupakan suatu yang penting bagi umat Islam karena terkoreasi dengan ibadah salat, dimana menghadap kiblat merupakan salah satu syarat sah salat. Metode maudu'i  dipergunakan dalam penelitian ini. Ulama-ulama tafsir seperti Ibnu Arabi, al-Tabari, al-Maraghi, al-Sabuni dalam menentukan hukum menghadap kiblat meruju’ kepada pendapat ulama mazhab. al-Sabuni dalam tafsirnya Rawai’u al-Bayan, mengklasifikasi hukum menghadap kiblat bagi orang yang salat. Bagi mereka yang dapat melihat Ka’bah, maka ulama sepakat, bahwa kiblatnya adalah ‘Ainul Ka’bah (Bangunan Ka’bah). Sedangkan bagi mereka yang tidak dapat melihat Ka’bah, ulama terbagi dalam dua pendapat. Menurut Hanafi dan Maliki kiblatnya adalah mengarah ke Jihahtul Ka’bah (Arah kiblat), sedangkan menurut Syafi’i dan Hanbali, menghadap ke ‘Ainul Ka’bah (Bangunan Ka’bah). Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi rujukan kepada instansi terkait baik pemerintah maupun swasta, antara lain: Badan Hisab Rukyat Kemenag RI, MUI, ormas-ormas Islam, para alim ulama, cendikia dan civitas akademika.

Abstract

This article discusses the approach of Qur'anic interpretation in the Shia tradition which is also widely practiced by their scholars. The aim is to find out the approaches carried out by the Shia group with regard to the interpretation of the Qur'an. The object of research in this article is the verses related to jihad and mut'ah marriage. By using descriptive analytical method, the author concludes that; First, Shia is a group that is concerned with the Qur'an and is no different from other groups. Second, in terms of interpretation, in the author's opinion, the approach of this group in interpreting the verses of the Qur'an is to consider the context, situation and conditions surrounding the Qur'an. In other words, their approach can be included in the contextual approach. This can be seen from some of their interpretations such as jihad and mut'ah marriage.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menanamakan nilai-nilai al-Qur’an surah al-kahfi ayat 60-82 dalam kehidupan santri yang terdapat di Taman Pendidikan al-Qur’an (TPQ) Al-Jihad Perumahan Lingkar Pratama Kota Mataram. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Data diperoleh kemudian diolah secara sistematis. Mulai dari hasil wawancara, observasi, mengklarifikasi, mereduksi,dan menyimpulkan data. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan diketahui Nilai-nilai dalam surah al-Kahfi ayat 60-82 dalam upaya penanaman nilai-nilai al-Qur’an meliputi: nilai sabar, nilai tawadduk, nilai sopan santun, bekerja profesional,dan nilai bertanggung jawab. Abstract

It is important to know the hadith as an explanation of the Qur'an and to understand the hadith in a moderate way to get a complete and not excessive understanding, so that it is far from extreme practices and there are no fault in understanding the text of the hadith that is used as a guide so that it is necessary to carry out an analysis in various ways. approach in understanding a hadith, this paper aims to understand the hadith about religious extremes using Yusuf Qardhawi's perspective of moderation reasoning. The method used is the approach and reasoning analysis of Yusuf Qardhawi in understanding the hadith in a moderate manner so that it can be concluded that the hadith about religious extremes is in accordance with the instructions of the Qur'an and there are no verses of the Qur'an that contradict the hadith, as well as several There is no contradiction in the themes of the hadith, so there is no need to merge or interpret. It is also very important to look at the background of the descent of a hadith, such as in extreme religious traditions where asbabul wurud is prohibited even if it is limited to taking the jumrah stone, which indicates that excessive and even extreme actions are prohibited, this is in accordance with the principles of religious moderation according to Yusuf Qardhawi, namely: implement a moderate attitude that is between extreme movements and fundamentalism.

Abstract

Rimpu is an aurat cloth typical of the mbojo tribe that uses two pieces (dua ndo'o) of cloth called Tembe Nggoli, and has become a hereditary heritage of Siwe Mbojo. In Islam the command to close the aurat is one of the mandatory commands for a Muslim woman balig, as contained in Qs. Al-Ahzab verse 59. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis method. By using the theory of Sociology of knowledge Karl Mannheim as a surgical tool in order to trace in depth to the study conducted. So that the data obtained through field observations as well as books, journals and articles related to the discussion. The results of this article indicate that; first, Rimpu in women of the mbojo Tribe Other than as a distinctive tradition that must be maintained, is also part of the submission of the Siwe Mbojo to the teachings of Islam. Second, the Rimpu on the womenof the Mbojo Tribe shows obedience to the commands of Allah and The Messenger of Allah. Third, Rimpu by women of the Mbojo tribe is a symbol of respect, appreciation and selfpreservation efforts of the opposite sex, in line with the purpose of the command to wear the hijab in Qs. Al-Ahzab verse 59.

Abstract

Every country or region desires to be led by a qualified person. However, not all countries or regions are able to get it. In addition to limited human resources, the debate about the criteria of the ideal leader is still unfinished. This research emphasizes more on subjective assessment, namely the characteristics of ideal leaders according to Sayyid Qutbh in Tafsîr fî Zhilâl al-Qur'ân. This research uses library research. The data collection method used is the documentation method, while the analysis method used is the maudh?'i method commonly known as thematic studies. The results of this study indicate that some of the characteristics of ideal leaders according to Sayyid Quth are honest, trustworthy, fair, professional, and like to deliberate.
