Abstract

Aksi 212 is a response to Ahok's statement regarding the concept of auliya towards Surat Al-Maidah verse 51. This response gave rise to an understanding of truth claims, namely an understanding that wants to absolute its thoughts regarding the Al-Qur'an. Understanding truth claims also raises an attitude of disbelief towards groups that are different from them. Specifically, this study wants to ask three questions, including 1) What are the views of the mufassir regarding the concept of auliya' in Surat Al-Maidah verse 51 and 57?  2) What is the background to the emergence of the discussion regarding the concept of auliya in Surat Al-Maidah verse 51 and 57? 3) How is the effectiveness of the integrative-interconnective approach in understanding Surat Al-Maidah verse 51 and 57 in the industrial era 4.0? To answer these questions, this research uses an integrative-interconnective approach, which provides a portion of the balance between Islamic sciences and exact sciences. The results in this study are 1) From the views of the mufassir above, it can be concluded, said Auliya in Surat Al-Maidah verse 51 and 57 shows more in the context of social interaction, so this verse speaks of a Muslim being cautious about entering into an agreement with non-Muslims because of his attitude that often violates agreements. 2) Through the analysis of asbabun nuzul, it can be concluded that the main message from Surat Al-Maidah verse 51 and 57 is a prohibition for any group or community to violate agreements or agreements that have been agreed upon. 3) Standardization of leadership is not based on religion, but values that exist in religion, social, culture, and others. The most important thing is to explore the essential values of leadership in the Qur'an, rather than being preoccupied with issues of identity. Keywords : Auliya, Integration-Interconnection, M. Abstract

The study of the living Qur'an is one of the studies in the form of scientific research that concentrates on the social events of muslim society by making the Qur'an as an object and subject in everyday life. By paying attention to social phenomena, it will appear a continuous process of interaction between the Qur'an and the community. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive method of analysis. So that the data is obtained through books, journals and articles related to the discussion. The results showed that, Living Qur'an is the result of the orientation of the social phenomenon of the community with the Qur'an that displays the Qur'an in Everyday Life, which in a sense both in text, function and then the Qur'an in the practice of the muslim community directly in their daily lives. One example that can be seen is the practice of Friday rice alms by Nur Farhan Papringan Mosque as a form of Ihya’ As-Sunnah movement which later became a study of the living Qur'an. The movement of Ihya ' As-Sunnah in the form of Friday rice alms departs from the word of Allah Qs. Al-Hadid verse 18 which discusses the reward from Allah for a servant who gives charity, and departs from the hadiths of the Prophet. This tradition then emerged in society as a form of participation of human consciousness to help each other to help each other.

Abstract

The Qur’an is the holy book of Muslims, in which there are many rules of Allah, one of which is the rules are many of Allah, one of which is the rules of regarding the ethics of Muslim women wearing the hijab. From the analysis of language, it can be concluded that the hijab is a wide, loose garment that covers the whole body. Meanwhile, the interpreters differ on the meaing of “Let them extend their headscarves all over the body.” Among their interpretations of the verse is covering his face and head, and showing only his left eye, covering the whole body and half of the face by showing both eyes, and stretching the cloth to cover the head to the chest. So, we can conclude that from the beginning the mufassirs agreed on the obligation of the hijab and differed in opinion about the meaning of lengthening the hijab. In the paper, we use a qualitative descriptive method, namely by utilizing qualitative data and describing it descriptively by analyzing events, phenomena, events, social activities, perceptions and thoughts of people both individually and in groups. Then as for the results of our research, namely the hijab wide, loose, and covers the whole body.

Abstract

This article will explain about polygamy which is widely misunderstood by some people. Polygamy is the marriage of a husband with more than one wife at the same time. The opposite of polygamy is monogamy. In the perspective of Islamic law, polygamy is limited to a maximum of four wives. There are two main verses that can be used as a reference for polygamy, namely QS. Al-Nisa’ [4] : 3 and QS. Al-Nisa’ [4] : 129. Polygamy has gone along with the history of mankind, so polygamy is not a new trend that appears suddenly. The most common polygamy is a man who has more than one wife at a time. This study uses qualitative and comparative methods, namely by providing descriptive interpretations of several commentators. It is repeatedly associated with Islam, it is mentioned in the books and Hadith that having more than one wife is indeed permissible for a man who meets certain conditions. One of the conditions for a man to practice polygamy is to be able to be fair to his wife regarding the division of time, wealth, and attention. Many people argue that the law of polygamy in Islam is sunnah. However, when viewed from a legal point of view, generally the scholars are of the opinion that the law of polygamy is not actually a sunnah, but is permissible or permissible. However, polygamy is certainly not something that can be done by anyone. When wanting to do polygamy, a man should first reflect on whether he has fulfilled the requirements to do it or not.

Abstract

In Sufism discourse, the concept of shadiq and al-shiddiq is an important and fundamental foundation for Sufism experts to begin their spiritual journey. The phenomenon of dishonesty is a very factual thing that is found today. This dishonesty will give birth to corruption, academic fraud, hoax news, fraud and so on. So this paper tries to provide a description of the interpretation of isyari carried out by al-Qusyairi on verses related to the concept of shadiq and al-shiddiq from the interpretation that leads to the interpretation of isyari. The research method that the author uses in this journal article is a qualitative descriptive study of a library research nature taken from books that are in accordance with the study of this journal article and other literature as the main object in this journal. In Tafsir al-Qusyairi Lathoif al-Isalun's explanation of the concepts of shadiq and al-shiddiq, it seems to reflect the tendency to try to reveal the inner meaning and Sufistic practices in the Qur'an, not only revealing the zahir meaning of the verses contained within but inviting us to use intuition to reveal the meaning behind the verses.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology has made social media more accessible, facilitating digital interactions that shape mindsets and perspectives. However, social media development has also had negative societal impacts. This study employs a qualitative method with a library research approach. Data is obtained through the analysis of Qur'anic texts, interpretations, scholarly opinions, and other literature, focusing on narcissistic attitudes (tabarruj) and legal perspectives, as well as offering solutions to narcissistic behavior on social media platforms. The study aims to analyze how Muslim women present themselves on TikTok, identify manifestations of digital narcissism, examine the social, psychological, and cultural factors influencing this behavior, provide an Islamic perspective on tabarruj in the context of social media, and suggest solutions for more mindful digital engagement. Using a qualitative approach, this research investigates Qur’anic interpretations, scholarly discussions, and various literature related to digital narcissism. The findings indicate that digital narcissism among Muslim women on TikTok is reflected in behaviors such as excessive self-presentation, seeking validation through likes, comments, and followers, and the influence of social media aesthetics in shaping identity. Factors contributing to this behavior include the impact of popular culture, social pressures, and psychological dependence on external validation, which can ultimately diminish self-confidence. Therefore, raising awareness through education is essential to preserving Islamic identity in the digital era. It is hoped that social media users, particularly Muslim women, will be more selective in creating and consuming content while prioritizing moral values and simplicity in online interactions.

Abstract

In a pluralistic society like Indonesia, the discourse on religion and multiculturalism is always challenging. Religious diversity can lead to either conflict or harmony, depending on how we interpret diversity and religious pluralism. Do we see it as social capital or a social liability? If religious diversity is perceived as a threat, tensions and conflicts among religions may arise. Conversely, if viewed as social capital, it contributes to fostering tolerance and harmony. Therefore, strengthening and deepening the concept of multicultural education based on strong religious values becomes essential. Given this issue, realizing the principles of multicultural education in society requires the ultimatum of religion as the foundational truth for humanity, outlining the boundaries and steps necessary to comprehensively understand the guidelines for multicultural life. This discussion is highly relevant to the Indonesian societal phenomenon, characterized by numerous ethnicities, religions, and cultures. Thus, this article seeks to explore multiculturalism from the perspective of three major religions, Islam, Christianity, and Hinduism, which have significant followers in Indonesia.
