Abstract

Expressed breast milk is breast milk that is taken by expressing it from the breast to be stored and later given to the baby. A working mother, who still wants to give exclusive breastfeeding, will find it difficult to give her breast milk directly so that breast milk is given in the form of expressed milk. Basically, breast milk is sterile, but during storage at room temperature, the number of bacteria can increase and decrease the nutrients contained in breast milk. The nutritional components contained in breast milk are macronutrients such as protein, carbohydrates and fats. This study was a pure experimental study using post tes only group design. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of differences in temperature and storage duration of Dairy Milk on the content of macronutrients (protein, carbohydrates, fat). The sample in this study were exclusively breastfeeding mothers for 3 to 6 months who were in the working area of the Nilam Sari Public Health Center, Bukittinggi City. Statistical test using One Way Annova test. The results of this study indicate that the levels of protein, carbohydrates, and fat in breast milk stored for 6 hours at room temperature 20-250C, for 7 days and 14 days in a freezer at a temperature of -150C experienced a significant decrease with a p value of 0.000 < 0.05. The conclusion of this study is that there is an effect of temperature and storage time of expressed breast milk on the content of macronutrients (protein, carbohydrates, fat). Therefore, breast milk should be given directly to the baby. However, for working mothers, the storage of expressed breast milk can still be done by taking into account the sterility of the breast milk container, the storage temperature and not repeating the storage. Abstract

Prolonged labour is one of the pathological forms of labor. Manggopoh Community Health Center is one of the health centers have high reports of childbirth complications. They are 121 (23%) cases, dominated by cases of prolonged labor. This study aimed to determine The Effect of Dates Extract on Second Phase on Primipara Mothers in the Working Area of Manggopoh Community Health Center in 2021. The type of research was a quasi-experimental approach with pos test only with control group design approach. The population in this study were all maternity mothers in the working area of Manggopoh Community Health Center, as much as 44. By using purposive sampling technique, 32 people were chosen as the samples. The data were collected through observation sheets and it was analyzed by univariate analysis and bivariate analysis using t-independent test. The results showed that the administration of date palm juice had a significant effect on the length of the second stage of labor with an average difference of 4.875 minutes in the second stage of labor and p value = 0.001, where the length of the second stage of labor was shorter in the experimental group. It can be concluded that the administration of date palm juice at the end of pregnancy has a significant effect on the length of the second stage of labor. It is hoped that the Manggopoh Community Health Center will provide health information to pregnant women to always prepare themselves both physically and mentally in facing childbirth, one of them is by utilizing date palm juice at the end of pregnancy which is proven to be effective in the progress of labor. Abstract

Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) is an indicator of health status. However, in reality the problem of maternal mortality and morbidity in Indonesia is still a big problem. Maternal mortality occurs due to several factors. One of them is hemorrhage 30.3%. Postpartum hemorrhage is caused by uterine atony 70%, trauma 20%, and rest placenta 10%. Uterine atony can be prevented through postpartum exercise and relaxation techniques. This study aimed to determine The Effectiveness of Postpartum Exercise and Relaxation Techniques on Uterine Involution in Normal Post-Copy Mothers in Gedang Community Health Center Working Area in 2020.It was Quasi Experimental Research (quasi-experimental) with posttest only design with two comparison treatment. The population was all postpartum mothers with normal delivery on November 2020. Total sampling technique had been used to choose the samples. The data were collected through direct observations by using observation sheet instrument. The data were analyzed by Mann Whitney test. The results showed that in the group given postpartum exercise intervention 14.50> the group that was given postpartum exercise intervention and relaxation techniques. It means that the subinvolution score was greater. Mann Whitney test ρ<0.05, it indicates that the mean rank difference between the two groups was significant. In short, postpartum exercise and relaxation technique were effective in accelerating the process of uterine involution.Last, it is suggested to the midwives to improve and perform midwifery services by applying postpartum exercise methods and relaxation techniques to make the uterine involution process runs well. Keywords    : The Effectiveness, Postpartum Exercise, Relaxation TechniquesReferences  : 26 (2004-2019)

Abstract

SDKI data in 2018 the incidence of breast milk dam is 37.12%. Data from Pasaman Barat Health Department in 2020 as many as 26.3% of mothers with breast milk dam. One of the efforts to reduce breast milk dam is to use the Reserve Pressure Softening technique and warm water compresses. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of Reserve Preasure Softening techniques and warm water compresses on breast milk dam on postpartum mothers in the working area of Parit Community Health Center Pasaman Barat in 2022. The research design was a quasi-experimental with two group pre-post test design. The research was conducted from January to July 2022 in the Working Area of  Parit Community Health Center Pasaman Barat. The population is all post partum mothers who experience breast milk with purposive sampling technique totaling 30 people. This study used 30 respondents with 15 respondents in the reserve pressure softening technique group and 15 respondents in the warm water compress group, analyzed by univariate and bivariate analysis with independent T-test. The results of the study on the average of breast milk dam before the reserve pressure softening technique was given were 3.73 and after 2.00. The average of breast milk before being given a warm compress was 3.67 and after 3.07. The results of the statistical test showed p values of 0.000 and 0.003 that the Reserve Pressure Softening Technique was more effective than warm water compresses against breast milk dam in postpartum mothers in the Working Area of Parit Community Health Center Pasaman Barat in 2022. The conclusion of the reserve pressure softening technique was more effective than warm water compresses against the incidence breast milk dam for postpartum mothers in the working area of the Parit Community Health Center Pasaman Barat in 2022. It is hoped that the Community Health Center can apply the reserve pressure softening technique and warm water compresses for postpartum mothers with breast milk dam.
