Abstract

The effectiveness of teaching and learning can be determined by the method used by the lecturer. Often the lessons practiced in the teaching and learning process stagnate, even the students feel bored to learn. Not because the lesson is boring or feared, but the saturation of students arises from the methods used by lecturers. One of them is monotonous teaching, where lecturers as educators are only limited to deliver without any self-evaluation and correction to the method of learning. Effective learning methods, especially in Teachers 'profession course, will affect the students' self-reliance in learning. However, these effective methods are not fully accomplished, even in many teaching and learning processes, especially in the field of the Teacher profession seem less effective. The Factors that can make effective lessons depend on the lecturers in using learning strategies and able to provide enthusiasm for students. effective learning in improving students' understanding of semester V in Prodi PGSD Abdurachman Saleh University conducted with the practice of reading every time the meeting. Such ways according to the lecturer of Teacher Training Profession at PGSD Prodi University Abdurachman Saleh is part of effective learning method in improving the defense in teacher profession course for students. Abstract

This study aims to determine the approach of teachers using behavior modification and in planting student discipline attitude. the title proposed in this study is "Master's Approach in Inculcating Discipline Attitudes in Class IV Students". This research was conducted at SDN 2 Patokan Situbondo Regency. This research uses qualitative research method, using behavior modification approach method. Behavior modification refers to behavioral change techniques, such as changing a person's behavior and reactions to a stimulus through strengthening adaptive behavior and / or the elimination of maladaptive behavior through an affectionate approach to each student so that they are comfortable with the school situation and the teacher will more easily provide advice to students so students will also easily receive the advice of teachers without ignoring it .. Modification of this behavior is to provide motivation to students and attitude changes, this approach can provide motivation that leads to good so that students are able to control himself, so that each individual is not considered bad by others, because having a high discipline attitude will show the quality of life. discipline as a provision for students to navigate their future lives, The forms of discipline in SDN 2 Patokan Situbondo in question is the discipline of students present to the school, discipline students in doing the task, discipline students in school lessons, discipline in dress and discipline in shaking hands with the teacher. While performing the teaching tasks of teachers applying classroom management techniques so that students can be disciplined, the techniques used are advice, reprimands, manners, orders and rewards. This technique is used for the learning process can take place conducively and know the various character of all discipline students that have been done well so that SDN 2 Patokan Situbondo become a superior school in Situbondo regency

Abstract

The blowing of information on the implementation of the full day school program at both elementary and secondary schools has brought tremendous dynamism among educators, whether formal or non-formal school educators. There is tremendous concern to madrasah educators who feel they will be threatened when a full day school program is held, as schoolchildren start in the morning and come home late in the afternoon so there is no chance for children to study religious studies in madrasah. This anxiety produces a rejection of the policy that will be launched by the minister of education. The purpose of this research is to know the implementation of full day school in SD Muhammadiyah 1 Panji. The location of this research was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Panji Kabupaten Situbondo district consisting of grade 4 class 5 and sixth grade with details of class 4 sofa and marwah each 25 students, class 5 sofa and marwah each 32 students and class 6 sofa and marwah each 25 students. This research is a qualitative research. Qualitative research is a research that produces descriptive data in the form of data written or oral from the people and behavior that can be observed .. Data collected is the data implementation of full day school in SD Muhammadiyah 1 Panji. Based on the analysis of research data, the implementation of full day school in SD Muhammadiyah 1 Panji is applied to high class only in classes 4, 5 and 6. Full day school implementation in classes 4 and 5 last at 15.30 pm and grade 6 to 17.00 pm

Abstract

The devolopment of student’s critical thinking in Situbondo, especially in subdistrick of Panji can be said it still low.This was said by the head of teacher working group (KKG) in state primary school Patokan 2 Situbondo. This is proven when students were joining Olympics Championship, theirposition were in the middle,compare to other the participants from other sub-district. There were many teachers who still dominate the learning process and students were only as an object. Thus,It is needed a change in teaching learning process, that should be implemented by teachers to improve the student’s critical thinking skills in learning science subject,for instance, by using the natural environmental approach. The research was conducted in class 5 SD Negeri 2 Patokan Situbondo many as 42 students consisting of 21 students of class 5A and 5B class of 21 students.This study aims to determine differences in learning model that uses media with media images of the environment on students' critical thinking skills. The sample consists of two classes of experimental class (VA) and the control class (VB) in SD Negeri 2 Patokan Situbondo cluser selected by random sampling technique. Data obtained in the form of quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitative data is data obtained from the average value of post-test were analyzed using Liliefors Test and Test-F (homogeneity of variance) at significance level of 5%. While the qualitative data in the form of student learning activities derived from the observation and analyzed descriptively. The results showed that an increase kemamuan critical thinking of students in the experimental class. The average post-test experimental class is 80,71. Based on the results of t-test values ​​obtained thitung 3,55 > ttabel 2,02108 then the corresponding basis for decision making in the t-test, it can be concluded H0 rejected and Ha accepted. The average percentage of students in all aspects of the activity observed in the experimental class berkriteria fairly good (80%). Nevertheless, the increase in critical thinking skills that occur in the experimental class have differences with improved critical thinking skills that occur in the control class. Increasing students' critical thinking experimental class is higher than the increase in critical thinking control class. Thus, it can be concluded even if there are no significant differences in the ability of critical thinking between the experimental class and control class, but the application of learning strategies to influence the media environment ability students' critical thinking

Abstract

This study was conducted through three phases, namely experimental preparation, design trials, and activity analysis. The learning design designed in this study aims to develop students' skills in measuring. The design involves traditional game namely penteng. Subject of this study is third grade students. The result of this study shows that students’ skill in measuring develop through their activities in using nonstandard measurement tool when they are playing penteng. When playing penteng, students measure the distance of the short wood fall to the hole where the wooden throw using long wood and short wood. The experience they get directly when taking measurements using short wood and jangers delivers them in stating distance using standard units. This is indicated by the process of counting jumps by students when asked to declare the results of non-standard calculation into the standard unit. Through these activities students' skills in measurement can develop

Abstract

This study intended to know the difference of student learning outcomes with cooperative model type of Numbered Heads Together on Indonesian Language Studies Theme of Clean Air For Health in Fifth Grade Class at First Semester in Al-Abror Islamic Centre Elementary School Situbondo Distric, Situbondo Regency Month of Years 2017/ 2018. This study is using kind of quasi experimental. This sample of study is using purposive sampling technique by making certain considerations, with special selection or compared two homogeneous sample. This sample in this study as a control class is all students of fifth B grade class in Al-Abror Islamic Centre Elementary School, as many as 25 kids, and as an experimentaly class is all students of fifth C grade class in Al-Abror Islamic Centre Elementary School. The instrument is used a test instrument on the form of multiple choice. Instrument validity test is using point biseral formulas and instrument reability with Kuder-Richardson formulas. Prerequisite analysis test is data normality test with lilliefors test and homogeneity test with fisher test and data analysis with t-separated varians formulas. From the data analysis result obtained result thitung > ttabel (with level of significance 0,05 and df=48), that is 2,161 > 2,011. So, from the calculation can be concluded that Ho can be rejected and Ha can be accepted. That is wich means some differences in student learning outcomes if use cooperative models Numbered Heads Together (NHT) type with Mind Mapping models on Indonesian language studies theme of clean air for healt in fifth grade class at first semester in Al-Abror Islamic Centre Elementary School Situbondo Distric, Situbondo Regency month of years 2017/ 2018

Abstract

Improving the quality of learning is one of the most fundamental things to improve the quality of education as a whole. But the lack of creativity of teachers as teachers in presenting a learning media that is more fun and close to the world of students cause lesson material presented by the teacher is not running optimally. As a result students feel bored, less interesting lessons, even full of mystery, resulting in less satisfactory learning outcomes. Problem formulation How is the effectiveness of the use of learning audio media in improving student learning outcomes in the subjects of Bahasa Indonesia Sub Theme Body ?. Research Objectives To obtain an overview of the effectiveness of the use of audio media learning in improving student learning outcomes in the subjects of Bahasa Indonesia Sub Theme Body. This research is PTK (Research Action Class). Classroom Action Research is done because of the problems faced by educators in the process of learning in the classroom. The implementation of TOD will be carried out at SD Mimbaan 2 Situbondo with 6 weeks implementation time in September 2017 - November 2017. The subject of this research is all students of class 1 consisting of 1 class of 26 students at SD Mimbaan 2 Situbondo.The PTK procedure is cyclical. One cycle consists of four phases, namely: planning phase, implementation phase, observation phase, reflection phase. Data presentation technique used in this research is descriptive analysis that is an analysis without using statistic test. it is known that the number of students who completed 13 people with 57.69% percentage and categorized less well. The learning outcomes of a class is said to be complete if there are ≥ 75% of students who have achieved a score of ≥ 70 from a maximum score of 100. Therefore the result of classical student learning in cycle 1 is still not complete. But the completeness of student learning outcomes in cycle 1 has increased and better than previous or prasiklus. In cycle 2 it is known that the number of complete students is 17 people. The completeness of the desired Indonesian learning result in SDN 2 Mimbaan is 75%. Learning outcomes in cycle 2 shows that the completeness of student learning outcomes has increased and better than the 1st cycle of 80.76% with good category. Classically student learning outcomes in cycle 2 is declared complete. Increase percentage of learning result completeness from cycle 1 to cycle 2 is 23,07%

Abstract

Learning social science in 5th grade has a many materials, so that students in 5th grade students SDN 3 Wringin Anom have different levels of motivasion, which affects the acquision of different learning outcomes. The problem formulation in this research was whether there was a relationship between motivation with sosial science learning outcomes of the 5th grade SDN 3 Wringin Anom academic year 2017/2018?. This study aimed to determine the relationship between motivation with sosial science learning outcomes of the 5th grade students SDN 3 Wringin Anom academic year 2017/2018. The type of this research was correlational research. The population of this research was students in 3 Elementary School Wringin Anom. This research was used purpusive sampling technique, with the number of samples is fifteen students. This reaserch consist of independent variables and dependent variables, the independent variables that is motivation (X), and dependent variables that was sosial science learning outcomes (Y). The data collection techniques used in this research was using questonnaires and documentation. The result showed that the relationship of motivation with sosial science learning outcomes of the 5th grade was in strong category, the corelation coefficient is 0,733 > r table 0, 514 calculation using product moment correlation analysis. Based on the explanation be concluded that between motivasion with sosial science learning outcomes there was relationship with strong category. Suggestions for should help students improve their motivation. For students, it was better to increase the motivation to learn, and for the school should always create a learning process that could improve learning motivation

Abstract
