Abstract

The rapid transformation of Indonesia’s digital payment ecosystem highlights a growing disparity between high non-cash adoption and the relatively stagnant market share of Islamic banking among digital natives. Grounded in the synthesis of the Theory of Planned Behavior and Lifestyle Theory, this study aims to analyze the direct effect of a cashless lifestyle on Generation Z's interest in becoming Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) customers, while evaluating the mediating mechanism of financial behavior in bridging daily payment practices with long-term banking decisions. A quantitative causal-associative design was deployed using Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Squares (PLS-SEM) via SmartPLS 4.0. Primary data were gathered through structured online questionnaires from 400 Generation Z respondents in Madura selected through purposive sampling criteria. The empirical results demonstrate that a cashless lifestyle has a positive and significant effect on customer interest (t = 2.211, p = 0.027) and financial behavior (t = 11.218, p = 0.000). Furthermore, financial behavior significantly impacts customer interest (t = 13.718, p = 0.000) and acts as a pivotal mediating variable (t = 8.603, p = 0.000). These findings conclude that technical proficiency in digital payments alone does not drive institutional preference for Islamic banks; rather, structured financial behavior serves as the critical behavioral bridge. Practically, Islamic financial institutions must integrate personal financial management features into platforms like BYOND to cultivate disciplined financial habits and convert digital engagement into active account adoption.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the distribution direct cash assistance to the poverty level in Lambama Village, the research uses a descriptive method with an approach. The research population amounted to 239 Heads of Families, while the sample of 71 respondents was determined using the Slovin formula. Data collection was carried out through the distribution of questionnaires using the Guttman scale, while data analysis used effectiveness analysis with reference to theory. The results of the study showed that the effectiveness of direct cash assistance distribution obtained a value of 75.1 percent, so it was included in the effective category. In detail, the target accuracy indicator obtained a score of 77.4 percent (effective), the accuracy of the amount of assistance 100 percent (very effective), the timeliness of 81.6 percent (very effective), the accuracy of administration 100 percent (very effective), the accuracy of price 100 percent (very effective), and socialization and service 100 percent (very effective). However, the indicator of meeting basic needs only obtained a score of 42.2 percent (quite effective), while the indicator of reducing the burden of poverty obtained a value of 0 percent (ineffective). These findings show that although the implementation of direct cash assistance distribution has gone well according to the provisions, the assistance provided has not been able to reduce the poverty level significantly. Therefore, supporting programs are needed in the form of community economic empowerment, increasing employment opportunities, and updating beneficiary data so that the impact of direct cash assistance on poverty reduction can be more optimal.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the transformation of human resource management in Islamic financial institutions and to formulate strategies for its development in response to industrial modernization and digital disruption. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach using a library research method. The findings indicate that the transformation of Human Resource Management requires a holistic approach that integrates technical competence (kafa'ah), managerial competence, and moral-spiritual character (himmah) based on Islamic values. This transformation is realized through the strengthening of personal, organizational, and spiritual competencies implemented in human resource planning, recruitment and selection, training and development, performance appraisal, and compensation systems based on the principle of justice ('adl). Furthermore, the development of human resources is carried out through the continuous enhancement of personal, organizational, and spiritual competencies integrated into recruitment, training, career development, and performance evaluation processes.

Abstract

Indonesia's biodiesel blending mandate requires a national fuel distribution company to maintain supply continuity across a geographically dispersed, maritime-dependent distribution network while complying with fixed delivery-point and volume-allocation rules established by the government. Rigid allocation regulations frequently cause localized stockouts that interrupt blending operations and expose the company to compliance penalties. This study develops a strategic decision-support model to prioritize biodiesel supply-management alternatives under these operational and regulatory constraints. A quantitative Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) was applied to pairwise-comparison judgments collected from 15 internal and external expert stakeholders, comprising senior management, supply schedulers, fuel terminal managers, biodiesel producers, and government representatives. Individual judgments were aggregated using the weighted geometric mean and evaluated through consistency ratios, all of which were below the 0.10 threshold. Supply Disruption Resilience emerged as the dominant decision criterion (0.5322), followed by Infrastructure Readiness (0.3195) and Regulation and Mandate Compliance (0.1483). The highest-ranked alternative was the Integrated Buffer Stock and Inventory Resilience Package (0.4828), ahead of the Supply and Logistics Resilience Package (0.3393) and the Regulatory Governance and Coordination Package (0.1780). The findings indicate that proactive inventory visibility, early-warning signals, buffer-stock policy, and replenishment scheduling should form the core of the company's biodiesel supply strategy, supported by logistics contingency arrangements and formal regulatory coordination. The study provides a transparent and auditable prioritization framework for sustaining blending compliance while reducing stockout risk under the B40–B50 transition.

Abstract

The urgency of this research is driven by the low financial literacy and adoption of digital record-keeping among MSMEs in Konawe Regency, which results in unmeasured cash flow management and difficult access to formal financing. This phenomenon hinders business sustainability amidst the competitive digital market. This study aims to develop and validate a technology-based, adaptive Sustainable Financial Management Model for local MSMEs. UsingSequential Exploratory Mixed MethodThe initial stage involved a qualitative exploration of barriers to technology adaptation using NVivo 12 on 12 key informants. Next, quantitative validation was conducted through model testing with SmartPLS 4 (SEM) to measure the effect of the recording system on significantly increasing revenue in a sample of 100 MSMEs in Konawe Regency. The results of the NVivo analysis identified three main clusters of barriers: technology anxiety (tech-anxiety), local feature limitations, and infrastructure instability. Meanwhile, the SEM-PLS test results prove thatTechnology-Based Record-Keeping Systemshas a positive and significant effect on Sustainable Financial Management, and Sustainable Financial Management has a significant effect on Increasing Business Revenue. Sustainable Finance acts as a strong partial mediator. Strategically, this research supports the 3rd and 5th Asta Cita Programs related to strengthening the people's economy through digitalization and contributes to SDGs points 8 and 9.

Abstract

Purpose: This research seeks to investigate the effects of social media content and influencer marketing on consumers' purchase intention toward TikTok Shop, while also evaluating the mediating role of brand trust within the SOR theoretical framework. Methods: The study employed an associative-causal design and a quantitative methodology. Purposive sampling was used to identify 210 active TikTok Shop users in Indonesia who were at least 17 years old to participate in an online survey utilizing a Google Forms questionnaire. With the aid of SmartPLS 4.0, data analysis was carried out using SEM-PLS. Results: The findings indicated that every proposed hypothesis was empirically supported. Both social media content and influencer marketing exerted significant and positive effects on brand trust as well as purchase intention, with social media content emerging as the most influential determinant of brand trust (coefficient = 0.670). Furthermore, brand trust significantly mediated the relationships betweensocial media content, purchase intention, and influencer marketing. The proposed research model accounted for 69.7% of the variance in purchase intention and 68.5% of the variance in brand trust. Implications: In addition to practical implications for businesses to prioritize social media content quality, choose reliable influencers, and develop brand trust sustainably in order to increase consumer purchase intention in TikTok Shop, these findings offer theoretical contributions to the development of the SOR model in thecontext of social commerce. Future research is recommended to test specific product categories and use a longitudinal design.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to examine the effect of logistics service quality on customer satisfaction in the Shopee e-commerce platform, with a particular focus on the moderating role of Logistics Service Cost. The dimensions of logistics service quality investigated include Real-Time Tracking, Delivery Timeliness, and Logistics Service Cost. Methods: A quantitative descriptive approach was employed using an online questionnaire distributed through Google Forms. Of the 219 initial responses, 175 valid samples met the inclusion criteria after the screening process. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4 software. Results: The structural model evaluation (R² = 0.758) indicates that 75.8% of the variance in customer satisfaction is explained by the proposed model. The findings reveal that Real-Time Tracking, Delivery Timeliness, and Logistics Service Cost each have a positive and significant direct effect on customer satisfaction. Among these variables, Logistics Service Cost emerged as the strongest predictor of customer satisfaction. However, the moderation analysis showed that Logistics Service Cost does not significantly moderate the relationships between Real-Time Tracking and customer satisfaction or between Delivery Timeliness and customer satisfaction. Implications: The findings indicate that, in a mature e-commerce market, Logistics Service Cost functions as an independent determinant of customer satisfaction rather than as a moderating factor. This suggests that consumers increasingly perceive logistics costs and information transparency as autonomous dimensions of service quality that constitute the minimum expected standard. The study contributes to the logistics service quality literature by providing empirical evidence on the changing role of logistics cost efficiency in shaping customer satisfaction within digital commerce.

Abstract

Indonesia's cosmetics industry has experienced significant growth in recent years, accompanied by increasingly fierce competition between local and international brands. Wardah, as one of the leading halal cosmetics brands in Indonesia, has managed to build a strong market presence through its commitment to halal certification, product quality, and affordable prices. However, the latest Top Brand Index data shows a continued decline in the performance of Wardah's lipstick market, which indicates a decline in consumer repurchase intentions. This situation highlights the importance of identifying the factors that influence consumers' desire to repurchase cosmetic products. This study aims to examine the influence of attitudes, clarity of information, and credibility on the intention to repurchase Wardah lipstick among consumers in the city of Bandung. A quantitative research approach with a verifiable design is used. Primary data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to 150 consumers aged at least 17 years who had previously purchased Wardah lipstick. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of IBM SPSS Statistics Version 26. The results show that consumers generally perceive attitudes, clarity of information, credibility, and repurchase intentions positively. The results of the hypothesis test revealed that attitude did not have a significant positive effect on repurchase intention, while clarity of information and credibility had a positive and significant effect on repurchase intention. Furthermore, simultaneous analysis showed that attitude, clarity of information and credibility had a positive and significant effect on the repurchase intention of Wardah lipstick in the city of Bandung.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of transformational leadership and the work environment on employee performance in the Training and Job Placement Division (PPTK) of the Department of Industry and Manpower of Surabaya City, both simultaneously and partially. A quantitative approach with a causal research design was employed. The study involved all 36 employees of the PPTK Division using a saturated sampling technique. Primary data were collected through a structured questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale, while secondary data were obtained from organizational documents and relevant literature. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software after passing validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests. The results indicate that transformational leadership and the work environment simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance (F= 14.158, Sig. = 0.000). Partially, transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (t = 3.967, Sig. = 0.000), and the work environment also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (t = 4.114, Sig. = 0.000). The coefficient of determination shows that the two independent variables explain 42.9% of the variation in employee performance. These findings imply that strengthening transformational leadership practices and creating a supportive work environment can improve employee performance in public sector organizations, particularly within the PPTK Division of the Department of Industry and Manpower of Surabaya City. Future studies are recommended to include additional variables that may influence employee performance to provide a more comprehensive explanation of employee performance in government institutions.
