Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation, the strengths and the weaknesses of Arabic-English textbooks in language learning in early childhood group A in KB-RA. Perwanida Ketintang Surabaya. The results show that the implementation of outdoor learning. Students are asked to listen and pay attention to the teacher when exemplifying the vocabulary or sentences being studied. Students are able to focus and give respond to the explanations when the teacher gives questions to all students, students answer the teacher's questions together using Arabic or English. These activities are carried out repeatedly. Then, the teacher asks one of the students randomly to do reinforcement by asking students about the language learned today. The advantages of Arabic-English textbooks are as follows: students are able to explore their vocabularies or sentences in Arabic and English, able to increase children's motivation to learn, contain interesting learning materials, make it easy for teachers. This book is prepared based on the needs of early childhood, contains interesting illustrations, based on linguistic aspects and contains the materials that are taught, namely Arabic and English. While the weakness of this book is that there is no written evaluation/assessment for students, how to present the book is not completed with media, students cannot repeat learning the material at home using this book and some students still have lack focus when having classes

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe and analyze the learning assessment model applied in the RA Perwanida Ketintang Surabaya institution during online learning. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of case study research. The data collection techniques used were participatory observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used the interactive model of Miles and Huberman's analysis, and the data validity was tested using the triangulation method. The results of the study found that RA Perwanida Surabaya used a goal-oriented assessment model and a conformity assessment model. The conclusion of this research shows that in RA Perwanida Surabaya, the assessment is carried out using the following assessment instruments: anecdotal notes, work results and checklists. The assessment is carried out with a goal-oriented model and a suitability model.

Abstract

This article aims to determine the benefits of traditional children's games in the formation of early childhood character. This is motivated by the phenomenon of changes in children's playing activities today, which more often play modern games that are synonymous with the use of technology such as video games and online games. As a result, traditional children's games began to be forgotten and became foreign to children. In addition, the level of addiction to modern games in children is also high so that it has a bad effect on children's habits and behavior. This paper describes the impact that occurs in children when addicted to playing games which results in the character that will be awakened in early childhood. In addition, it also compares the influence of modern games with traditional games on the formation of early childhood character. Restoring traditional children's games as children's games today can be an alternative to create a generation of superior characters.

Abstract

A child is the successor of a nation that must obtain protection in his life by the nation and the state, government, society, and parents, the child must also obtain rights that are upheld as a human being. The purpose of this research is to find out how forms of child exploitation and the factors that cause the emergence of cases of exploitation of minors during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research uses qualitative descriptive research and library research. The result of this study that there are three forms of child exploitation, namely physical exploitation, social exploitation and sexual exploitation. For factors that cause high cases of exploitation of minors during the pandemic, namely, low family economy, low parental education, child abuse and fractures of the parents' households, and environmental influences and online learning. Perpetrators of child exploitation cases do not get a deterrent effect due to the lack of swiftness of the government to make regulations and penalties that provide a deterrent effect for perpetrators. Thus the importance of awareness of parents, society and the importance of law enforcement to protect minors in order to avoid the crimes of exploitation that are currently increasingly happening.

Abstract

The background of this research is that there are students who have difficulty concentrating when learning the new normal period in class A1 RA Muslimat NU 10 Banin-Banat Gresik. The purpose of this study was to describe the application of sensorimotor play used to train concentration and to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors for the application of sensorimotor play used to train concentration. This research uses qualitative research with a case study approach. The results showed that the teacher of class A1 applied auditory sensorimotor play using pop up story books at the beginning of the lesson and at the end of the lesson. In addition, the teacher also applies a proprioceptive sensorimotor play using lego and bombic which are usually done during the safety corner, when the child has completed all his tasks. Factors that support the application of sensorimotor play to train children's concentration are the availability of media, increase children's insight, increase children's vocabulary, develop aspects of children's social emotional development, while the inhibiting factors are difficulties in conditioning students, the amount or quantity of media that is lacking.

Abstract

Train educational game music is a game of playing musical instruments such as tambourines, harps, saron, maracas, and guitars in the form of train cars which are varied with songs. This study aims to determine the effect of the musical train educational game media on the language development of children aged 5-6 years. The research method used is a quantitative method. The subjects in this research trial were five children aged 5-6 years and 30 PAUD teachers. The results of trials conducted on five children aged 5-6 years, namely before the trial was 26% and increased to 91% after the media trial train educational game. music. This shows that the train educational game music can improve language development and early reading skills of children aged 5-6 years. The validation results from material experts are 90%, media experts are 75%, and the feasibility assessment of 30 PAUD teachers is 93%. From this research, it shows that the train educational game tool music that has been tested on a small scale is valid and feasible. It shows the train game music is effective and has an effect on children's language development and can be applied and has an attraction for early childhood in learning.

Abstract

for an existing system, so with an outbreak like this, especially in the academic world, there needs to be a breakthrough when learning media uses an online system. This research is classified as qualitative because it involves qualitative information because this research refers to evidence of general information without any statistical and quantitative calculations. Conclusion on This research is by taking a good approach to students, the KBM process goes well. The role of educators who are patient and skilled makes students comfortable in learning and one of the important innovations is remedial which is required so that students continue to be challenged. Suggestions for this research is to immediately apply it on a more complex mass scale and research on socio-cultural studies regarding the character of students is needed.
