Abstract

Teachers creativity is needed to create the learning that is able  to  increase the motivation and students achivement. One of those is the ability to choose an appropriate learning model. Numbered Heads Together is one of those Motivational learning model that is believed able to increase the motivational and students achievement because it is oriented to students. The research aims to : (1) Increase the students learning motivation. (2) Increase social subject learning achievement of VIII grade of SMP Kristen Kapuas Kecamatan Selat Kabupaten Kapuas. The research subject is students of VIII grade of SMP Kristen Kapuas of 28 srudents, consist of 11 male and 17 female. The variabel of the research consist of student learning activity and students learning achievement. The gathering data is used observation sheet, questionnaire, test, notes, documentation. The research result showed that the score average of teacher’s cycle I was 3.0 (good category), the average of teacer’s skill in cycle II was 3.4 (excellen category). The increasing learning result gained from actuating test each cycle, at cycle I goot 75,00 % and cycles II goot 92,86 %. Student learning activities of grade of SMP Kristen Selat Kapuas at the theme of counting income tax was also increase. It was described of the average of student’s activity in the first cycle from 2,91 to 3,16 increase at second cycle.Key words: Cooperative approach, Numbered Heads Together type, Motivation, learning achievement.

Abstract

Abstract Basarang are located on Basin of Groundwater (CAT) Banjarmasin–Palangkaraya.High water potential of groundwater basin has the impact for the high availability of water well drilling in Basarang Sub District. The community utilizes the well bore for the home utilitysuch as washing dishes, washing clothes, cleaning the floor, and bathroom. The purpose of this research is to analyze the availability of The National Community Empowerment Program (PNPM) of Rural Self-sufficient (PNPM-Mandiri Pedesaan) of water well drill in Basarang Sub District, to analyze the utilization of water well drill for rural community in Basarang Sub District, Kapuas District, and to analyze the existence of water well drilling for water providing to communities in Basarang Subdistrict, Kapuas District. The methods used in this research is qualitative. The data is obtained through observation, interviews and court documents. The respondents in this study are users of the existing well bore in Basarang. The data analysis consists of the reduction of the data, the presentation of the data and the withdrawal of the conclusion. The existence of the well bore has been built into a source of water for community in Basarang. The desired community expectations is more of dots drill wells constructed by PNPM-Mandiri Pedesaanand the Government's.Keywords: existence, well bore, the PNPM Mandiri Pedesaan  Abstrak Kecamatan Basarang berada di Cadangan Air Tanah (CAT) Banjarmasin-Palangkaraya. Potensi air yang tinggi membuat ketersedian air sumur bor di Kecamatan Basarang cukup banyak. Masyarakat memanfaatkan sumur bor untuk keperluan sehari-hari seperti mencuci piring, mencuci pakaian, membersihkan lantai, dan mandi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah Menganalisi ketersedian air sumur bor PNPM Mandiridi Kecamatan Basarang Kabupaten Kapuas, menganalisis pemanfaatan air sumur bor PNPM Mandiri Perdesaan oleh masyarakat di Kecamatan Basarang, Kabupaten Kapuas, dan menganalisis Eksistensi air sumur bor dalam menyediakan air bersih untuk masyarakat di Kecamatan Basarang, Kabupaten Kapuas Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ada penelitian kualitatif. Data diperoleh melalui observasi lapangan, wawancara dan dokumen. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah pengguna sumur bor yang ada di Kecamatan Basarang. Analisis yang digunakan meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Keberadaan sumur bor yang telah dibangun menjadi sumber yang sangat diperlukan masyarakat Basarang dalam memenuhi kebutuhan air bersih sehari-hari. Harapan yang diinginkan masyarakat kedepannya untuk lebih banyak lagi titik-titik sumur bor yang dibangun oleh PNPM Mandiri Perdesaan maupun pemerintah yang bergerak pada bidang pemberdayaan masyarakat desa.Kata kunci: eksistensi, sumur bor, PNPM Mandiri Perdesaan

Abstract

Bereng Bengkel Village is the village that still holds Dayak Ngaju culture. In the other hand, implementation of Lawang Sekepeng in every marriage ceremony in the middle of modern civilization in which this tradition it self is very rarely used. Therefor, the purposes study was the description of Lawang Sekepeng which is still sustained by the community Bereng Bengkel. This study used a qualitative method which aimed was to obtain more complete data, more depth, credible and meaningful so that the research objectives can be achieved. The result found that (1) the concept of Lawang Sekepeng implemented by Dayak Ngaju community at weddings in Bereng Bengkel has slight differences and similarities with the original concept applied by the real Dayak Ngaju community (Kaharingan). Additionally, cultural change in Bereng Bengkel was also motivated by acculturation, assimilation and cultural diffusion.Keywords: Lawang Sekepeng and marriage ceremony

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada penerapan Model TGT dalam pembelajaran sosiologi . Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar Sosiologi melalui Model TGT (Teams Games Tournament) pada Siswa Kelas X IPS 2 SMA Negeri 4 Banjarmasin Semester Genap Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016.Penelitian ini berjenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri atas 2 siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi dengan 2 kali pertemuan dalam setiap siklusnya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskripsi. Populasinya adalah siswa kelas X IPS 2 SMA Negeri 4 Banjarmasin.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, penerapan Model TGT (Teams Games Tournament) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran Sosiologi. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil observasi yang menunjukkan tingkat kemajuan siswa dari pertemuan pertama dengan persentase 65,48% sampai pertemuan keempat dengan persentase 85,42%. Penelitian ini juga dapat meningkatkan keefektifan guru dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran Sosiologi. Hal ini dibuktikan dari hasil hasil observasi guru yang mengalami peningkatan dari pertemuan pertama yaitu 70,45%  sampai pertemuan keempat yaitu 85,58%.Sehingga Model TGT (Teams Games Tournament) dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu alternatif dalam proses belajar mengajar karena dapat memberikan variasi dalam pembelajaran Sosiologi yang lebih melibatkan siswa untuk aktif dan termotivasi dalam pembelajaran sehingga aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa meningkat. Namun, juga Penggunaan Model TGT (Teams Games Tournament) dalam pembelajaran Sosiologi hendaknya disesuaikan dengan materi dan topik pembelajaran yang akan diajarkan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of learning outside the classroom to enthusiasm, interest, and learning achievement of students in social studies learning. This research uses experimental research design. Forms of experimentation design used is True Experimental with Posttest Only Control Design. While Posttest Only Control Design, the design of this research, there are two groups, each of which are chosen randomly. The first group was given treatment and the other group did not. Called the group treated experimental group and the untreated group called the control group. The study was conducted at SMP Negeri 11 Banjarbaru. The research sample of students of class VIII Academic Year 2015/2016 totaling 230 class A to class VIII VIII F. From the results it can be concluded that there are significant learning outside the classroom to enthusiasm, interest, and student achievement. With this method of learning outside the classroom involving students showed perseverance, passion, enthusiasm, as well as full participation among fellow students and teachers. Their interest in students with learning IPS can give rise to interest in learning. If the interest and appeal to a lesson has emerged on students is in itself a lesson it will feel easy and fun so that student learning outcomes increases. With good interest and attraction the achievement belajarpun be good.Keywords: IPS, interests, learning outside classroom, academic achievement

Abstract

AbstractEducation is key isu to reach quality  human resource every country.  Education is held to reach the goals, namely cognitive, skill, and affective. Now education character is trend topic to get the affective goal. It can do by integration and imlementation the environment in curriculum conten. Thus, the research about character especially hardwork and responsiblity in IPS learning is importent to esteblish. The title of this research is Hardwork and Responsibility Values of Floating Market Activities in Kuin Alalak Banjarmasin as Social Studies Learning Resource.  The goals of this research are knowing the hardwork and responsiblity in Floating Market Activities, integration those value to the social studies learning, and implementation them in the class. This research used mixed method. The subject are  sellers, teacher, and students. The objects are Hardwork and Responsibility Values of Floating Market Activities. Data resource are sellers, students and IPS teacher at MTs Muhammadiyah 3 Al-Furqan Banjarmasin. Data colection tecnique is done by interview and observation. Data Analysis used qualitative analysis. Data analysis is Interactive Model from Miles and Huberman. The qualitative analysis steps is data colection, data disply, data reduction, and conclution. Descriptive quantitative is done by means and percenatege. The result of this research, there are hardwork and responsiblity in Floating Market Activities. The conclution are hardwork and responsiblity in Floating Market Activities can implementation in IPS learning.Keywords: Hardwork and responsiblity values, floating market activities, social studies learning  resource AbstrakPendidikan merupakan isu penting untuk mencapai sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas setiap negara. Pedidikan dilaksanakan untuk mencapai tujuan kognitif, keterampilan, dan sikap. Pendidikan karakter menjadi isu sentral untuk mencapai tujuan afektif. Pendidikan ini dapat dintegrasikan dan diimplementasikan melalui pemanfaatan lingkungan ke dalam konten kurikulum. Penelitian pendidikan karakter penting dilakukan khususnya nilai kerja keras dan tanggung jawab dalam pembelajara IPS. Penelitian ini berjudul “Nilai Tanggung Jawab  pada Aktivitas  Pasar Terapung Kuin Alalak Banjarmasin sebagai Sumber   Belajar IPS”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui nilai kerja keras dan tanggung jawab dalam aktivitas pasar terapung Kuin Alalak Banjarmasin sebagai sumber belajar IPS. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah pedagang, guru dan siswa. Objek penelitian ini adalah nilai kerja keras dan tanggung jawab dalam aktivitas pasar terapung. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah pedagang, guru, dan siswa MTs Muhammadiyah 3 Al-Furqan Banjarmasin. Teknik pengumpuan data adalah interview dan observasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis data kualitatif. Analisis kualitatif dilakukan dengan data colection, data disply, data reduction, and conclution. Hasil penelitian ini  menunjukkan bahwa terdapat nilai kerja keras dan tanggung jawab dalam aktivitas pasar terapung. Nilai-nilai kerja keras dan tanggung jawab di pasar terapung dapat dijadikan sumber belajar IPS. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah nilai kerja keras dan tanggung jawab yang terdapat dalam materi aktivitas pasar terapung Kuin Alalak Banjarmasin dijadikan sumber belajar IPS.Kata Kunci: Nilai kerja keras dan nilai tanggung jawab, aktivitas  pasar terapung, sumber belajar IPS

Abstract

This research is an inquiry-naturalistic study using qualitative approach in order to increase environmental literacy of students in school Adiwiyata, precisely in SD Negeri 138 Pekanbaru Riau as the National Adiwiyata school. This research is motivated by the role of environmental education in literacy community to strive for the environment (environmental literacy) within the scope of formal schooling. The realization of the implementation of environmental education in school is their program as a program Adiwiyata more planned. The purpose of this study is to find out efforts to increase environmental literacy of students in school Adiwiyata. Data obtained by observation, interviews, and documentation. The survey results revealed that efforts to increase environmental literacy of learners in primary schools 138 Pekanbaru namely, through the culture of the school, Adiwiyata program, and learning.Keywords: environmental literacy, Adiwiyata Penelitian ini merupakan studi  naturalistik inkuiri menggunakan pendekatan kualiatatif dalam upaya peningkatan environmental literacy peserta didik di sekolah Adiwiyata, tepatnya di SD Negeri 138 Pekanbaru Riau sebagai sekolah Adiwiyata Nasional. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh peran pendidikan lingkungan hidup dalam mengupayakan agar masyarakat melek lingkungan (environmental literacy)dalam lingkup sekolah formal. Wujud dari pelaksanaan pendidikan lingkungan hidup di sekolah adalah adanya program Adiwiyata sebagai program yang lebih terencana. Data diperoleh dengan cara melakukan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Abstract

This research discusses about santri’s learning ethos in Pesantren Al Istiqamah. In theoretical aspect, this research might be able to increase our knowledge in social studies education. Practically,this research can be studied as the materials to understand and develop the santri’s characters in facing a more innovative education, the result of this research can be used in understanding the santri/students’ characters so that they can plan a more effectivelearning, the result of this research can be as a reference to establish their attitudes in learning, also this research can be used as input in organizing children’s education in family environment.This research location is Pesantren Al Istiqamah, Pemurus Baru Sub-district, South Banjarmasin District, Banjarmasin City,South Kalimantan Province.The conclusions of this research are (1) santri interprets the meaning of learning in two dimensions those are earthly and hereafter dimension, (2) santri’s learning motivation includes motivation that is based on its source, those are intrinsic and extrinsic motivation.Keywords: Learning Ethos, Santri, Pesantren

Abstract

AbstractThis Research entitled "Community Behavior in Disposing Domestic Waste into Kuin River Urban Kuin South Banjarmasin City". This study aims to: 1) Analyze the behavior carried out by the Kuin Selatan Urban Communities who live in the Kuin River Basin in household waste disposal activities, 2) Analyze the factors that influence the attitude and behavior of the people of Kuin Selatan Village who live by the Kuin River in removing household waste.This study used descriptive qualitative method with the number of respondents as many as 9 people, key respondents 1 person and respondents support 8 people and then held in-depth interviews to the respondents to get complete information. This study will examine the behavior of people who dump their settlements to the banks of the Kuin river and examine the factors that influence the attitudes and behavior of residents to waste disposal activity, the position of the Kuin River area is located in the Village of South Kuin, West Banjarmasin Subdistrict. Other problems found during the study were the TPS that did not exist in the South Kuin District area, throwing the waste directly into the Kuin river. The results of this research are: 1) The behavior done by the Kuin Selatan Urban Village living on the banks of the Kuin River in household waste disposal activities can be known from the aspect of waste generation, waste collection, garbage transport, and destruction of waste, 2) comes from three aspects: physical (environmental), social, and cultural aspects. These three aspects greatly affect the residents in throwing household waste into the river kuin.Keywords: Community behavior, disposing of garbage, Kuin riverAbstrakPenelitian Ini berjudul “Perilaku Masyarakat Dalam Membuang Sampah Domestik ke Sungai Kuin Kelurahan Kuin Selatan Kota Banjarmasin”. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk: 1) Menganalisis perilaku yang dilakukan oleh Masyarakat Kelurahan Kuin Selatan yang Tinggal di Bantaran Sungai Kuin dalam aktivitas membuang sampah rumah tangga, 2) Menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi sikap dan perilaku masyarakat Kelurahan Kuin Selatan yang tinggal dibantaran Sungai Kuin dalam membuang sampah rumah tangga. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 9 orang, responden kunci 1 orang dan responden pendukung 8 orang dan kemudian diadakan wawancara secara mendalam kepada para responden untuk mendapatkan informasi yang lengkap. Penelitian ini akan mengkaji Perilaku masyarakat yang membuang sampah permukimannya ke pinggiran sungai Kuin dan mengkaji faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi sikap dan perilaku warga terhadap kegiatan membuang sampah, posisi wilayah Sungai Kuin beraada di Kelurahan Kuin Selatan Kecamatan Banjarmasin Barat. Permasalahan lain yang didapati selama penelitian adalah TPS yang tidak ada pada wilayah Kelurahan Kuin Selatan sehingga membuang sampahnya langsung ke sungai Kuin. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: 1) Perilaku yang dilakukan oleh Masyarakat Kelurahan Kuin Selatan yang tinggal di bantaran sungai Kuin dalam aktivitas membuang sampah rumah tangga dapat diketahui dari aspek timbulan sampah, pewadahan sampah, pengangkutan sampah, dan pemusnahan sampah, 2) faktor yang mempengaruhi berasal dari 3 aspek yaitu aspek fisik (lingkungan), aspek sosial, dan aspek budaya. Tiga aspek tersebut sangat mempengaruhi warga dalam membuang sampah rumah tangganya ke sungai kuin.Kata kunci: Perilaku masyarakat, Membuang sampah, sungai kuin

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of research to describe social values at Japin Dance Kuala in learning art dance class VII SMP Negeri 1 Alalak with qualitative research methods. The main purpose of using this method is to describe the nature of a situation that is temporarily running at the time of the study, and examine the causes of a particular symptom. The research result of Japin Kuala dance is one of South Kalimantan people dance. Japin dance is derived or grow and develop in the coastal area of the Martapura River or often called kuala area. Japin Kuala dance is a young promiscuous dance in Banjar area, which describes the tight feeling of silaturrahmi and brotherhood. This dance is very liked by young people Banjar Land because in addition to express the joy in an event, not infrequently also  Japin dance is a medium for finding a mate. Although this dance is a social dance but still holds the norms of Islamic religion .. Japin Kuala dance variety is very much related to the social values that exist in society, such as communicative and trusted, low self-esteem, environmental awareness, mutual cooperation, respect and appreciate.Implementation of social values in 100% students are taught always to help friends, 100% of teachers always give advice, 100% students are taught always work together, 100% of students are always taught to help each other students who can not dance, 100% of teachers always give advice in the form of social values contained in the dance, 80% of students rebuked the other students (partner) if one in a dance movement, 100% of students stated always cooperate while practicing dancing, 85% of students invite friends to learn dance, and 96.15% students are supported by the lord to learn to dance.Keywords: Social Values, Kuala Japin Dance, Dance ArtsAbstrakTujuan penelitian untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai sosial pada Tari Japin Kuala dalam pembelajaran seni tari kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Alalak dengan metode penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian deskripsi bertujuan untuk menggambarkan suatu realita sosial tertentu atau dirancang untuk mengumpulkan informasi tentang keadaan- keadaan nyata yang berlangsung sekarang. Tujuan utama menggunakan metode ini adalah untuk menggambarkan sifat suatu keadaan yang sementara berjalan pada saat penelitian dilakukan, dan memeriksa sebab-sebab dari suatu gejala tertentu. Hasil penelitian Tari Japin Kuala merupakan salah satu tari rakyat Kalimantan Selatan. Tari Japin ini berasal atau tumbuh dan berkembang di daerah pesisir Sungai Martapura atau sering dinamakan daerah kuala. Tari Japin Kuala merupakan tari pergaulan muda – mudi di daerah Banjar, yang melukiskan rasa eratnya tali silaturrahmi dan persaudaraan. Tarian ini sangat disukai oleh muda-mudi Tanah Banjar karena disamping untuk mengekspresikan kegembiraan dalam suatu acara, tak jarang pula Tari Japin merupakan media untuk mencari jodoh. Walaupun tarian ini adalah tarian pergaulan namun masih memegang norma - norma agama Islam.. Ragam gerak tari Japin Kuala sangat terkait dengan nilai-nilai sosial yang ada dalam masyarakat, seperti komunikatif dan dipercaya, rendah diri, keperdulian dengan lingkungan, gotong royong, menghormati dan menghargai.Implementasi nilai-nilai sosial pada peserta didik 100% diajarkan selalu membantu kawan, 100% guru selalu memberikan nasehat, 100% peserta didik diajarkan selalu bekerja sama, 100% peserta didik selalu diajarkan untuk saling membantu peserta didik lainya yang belum bisa menari, 100% guru selalu memberikan nasehat berupa nilai-nilai sosial yang terkandung dalam tarian, 80% peserta didik menegur peserta didik lainnya (pasangannya) apabila salah dalam melakukan gerakan tari, 100% peserta didik menyatakan selalu bekerjasama saat berlatih menari, 85% peserta didik mengajak temannya untuk belajar menari, dan 96,15% peserta didik didukung oleh orang tuan untuk belajar menari.Kata Kunci : Nilai-Nilai Sosial, Tari Japin Kuala, Seni Tari
