Abstract

All this time the character education is still needed until now because of the declining moral continually occur in the generation of this nation and nearly brought the nation to a destruction, It is necessary to find repair solutions, one of which is to implement character education in the world of education. This research uses qualitative research, the procedure of data collection used were: Observation, interviews, and Library. The method of qualitative data analysis techniques through three stages, they were data reduction, data display and drawing conclusion. The results showed: The  Planning of character education shows that  all the teachers make learning program by entering values into the character of learning, holding management planning in improving the quality of education, and planning of student activities, the value obtained by the mandate, responsibility, humanity, nationalism, curiosity, logical thinking, critical, work hard, creative, independent, self-confidence, respect for diversity, tolerance, solidarity, care for the environment, patriotism, courtesy, collaboration, innovation, work hard and living clean behavior. The implementation of character education shows the teachers put character values to the students during the learning, conduct management and policy agenda in support of character education in schools , and organize student activities, the value obtained are the care each other, independent, sense of desire of knowledge, love of country, care about the environment, creative, innovative, work hard, respect for achievement, togetherness, available, self-contained, obey to social rules, respect for diversity, discipline, responsible, and Nationalist. Abstract

Kedatangan dari orang Cina ke Indonesia termasuk ke Banjarmasin hingga sekarang membaur sekaligus juga mempertahankan kebudayaan mereka sampai sekarang dengan akukturasi kebudayaan antara orang Tionghoa dengan Banjar sendiri hingga sekarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui pengamatan, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Hubermen dengan cara reduksi data, display data dan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Proses akulturasi kebudayaan orang Tionghoa di Banjarmasin dan menetap di wilayah yang sekarang bernama Pacinan sudah sejak lama dan budaya-budaya Tionghoa Pacinan Banjarmasin bertahan hingga sekarang yang didapatkan oleh peneliti antara lain Religi seperti perayaan Imlek, Cheng Beng, Tiong Kuan, Tarian Barongsai, sistem mata pencaharian hidup, bahasa dan lainnya.The arrival of the Chinese to Indonesia, including to Banjarmasin until now, has blended and at the same time preserved their culture until now with the cultural structure between the Chinese people and the Banjar itself until now. This research uses a research method using a qualitative approach to data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data were analyzed using Miles and Hubermen models by data reduction, data display, and conclusion/verification. The process of acculturation of Chinese culture in Banjarmasin and settled in the area now called Pacinan has been a long time and Chinese culture of Banjarmasin Pacinan survives until now obtained by researchers including religions such as Chinese New Year Celebration or Imlek, Cheng Beng, Tiong Kuan, Barongsai dance, economic system livelihood, language and more.

Abstract

Learning history is a part of history education. Learning history again reviving the debate students of the teaching of history. The debate was about what you want to achieve from teaching history to what can be achieved from the learning process of history. The results of the study in SMA Negeri 1 Pelaihari shows that most students learn history just a rote without understanding the substance or meaning of a historical event. Therefore, to enhance students' understanding history teaching needs to have the right approach in the implementation of the learning process and Scientific approach to the curriculum in 2013 is considered very appropriate to be applied in the process of teaching history. The purpose of this study was to describe how the implementation process of teaching history with Scientific approach in SMA Negeri 1 Pelaihari. This research is a qualitative descriptive. The subjects were students of class X SMA Negeri 1 Pelaihari the academic year 2014/2015. The data collected in this study is the result data validation learning device, the observation (the activities of teachers and students), interviews, and field notes. The results of the implementation of the teaching of history with the approach of Scientific at SMA Negeri 1 Pelaihari shows that the application of the approach scientific in the process of teaching history in SMA Negeri 1 Pelaihari already well underway ranging from: (1) The Planning Phase, manufacture Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) has been appropriate and includes stages in scientific approach, (2) Implementation Phase, in prosses history teaching centered on students and teachers only facilitate learners to find out from a variety of learning resources and learning more scientific approach, competency-based and integrated. (3) Evaluation Phase, the teacher has to evaluate learning outcomes in the form sheet includes observation (nontest) and written test assessment through observation or direct observation of the activities of the students, this evaluation includes cognitive, affective and psychomotor.Keywords: Teaching History, Scientific Approach Pembelajaran sejarah adalah bagian dari pendidikan sejarah. Pembelajaran sejarah kembali memunculkan perdebatan para pemerhati masalah pembelajaran sejarah. Perdebatan itu tentang apa yang ingin dicapai dari  pembelajaran  sejarah  dengan  apa  yang  dapat  dicapai  dari  proses pembelajaran sejarah. Hasil penelitian di SMA Negeri 1 Pelaihari menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa mempelajari sejarah hanya berupa hapalan tanpa memahami substansi atau makna dari suatu peristiwa sejarah. Oleh karena itu untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dalam pembelajaran sejarah perlu dipilih pendekatan yang tepat dalam pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran dan pendekatan Saintifik dalam kurikulum 2013 ini dipandang sangat tepat untuk diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran sejarah.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran sejarah dengan pendekatan Saintifik pada siswa SMA Negeri 1 Pelaihari. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Pelaihari tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini adalah data hasil validasi perangkat pembelajaran, hasil observasi (aktivitas guru dan siswa), hasil wawancara, dan catatan lapangan. Hasil penelitian dari Pelaksanaan pembelajaran sejarah dengan pendekatan Saintifik pada siswa SMA Negeri 1 Pelaihari memperlihatkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan saintifik dalam proses pembelajaran sejarah di SMA Negeri 1 Pelaihari sudah berjalan dengan baik mulai dari: (1) Tahap Perencanaan, pembuatan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) sudah sesuai dan mencakup tahapan-tahapan dalam pendekatan Saintifik, (2) Tahap Pelaksanaan, dalam prosses pembelajaran  sejarah berpusat pada siswa dan guru hanya memfasilitasi peserta didik untuk mencari tahu dari berbagai sumber belajar dan pembelajaran lebih menggunakan pendekatan ilmiah, berbasis kompetensi dan terpadu. (3) Tahap Evaluasi, guru telah melakukan evaluasi meliputi hasil belajar berupa lembar pengamatan (nontest) dan penilaian tes tertulis melalui observasi atau pengamatan langsung terhadap kegiatan-kegiatan siswa, evaluasi ini meliputi aspek kognitif, afektif dan psikomotor.Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran Sejarah, Pendekatan Saintifik

Abstract

Hasil belajar peserta didik rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XII IPS 2 SMA PGRI 4 Banjarmasin pada pokok bahasan Perubahan Sosial dapat ditingkatkan melalui Strategi Pembelajaran Inkuiri Sosial.Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah metode analisis kualitatif, yang intinya menekankan pada usaha penggambaran hal-hal apa saja yang berhubungan dengan meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik secara mendalam. Dengan analisis kualitatif ini peneliti menekankan pada pendalaman pokok permasalahan khususnya tentang motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Sosiologi. Sehingga bisa diketahui dan dianalisa permasalahan yang muncul dan kemudian diadakan refleksi untuk mencari alternatif pemecahannya. Proses penelitian dimulai pada bulan Agustus sampai September 2011, jumlah sampel 39 orang dari peserta didik kelas XII IPS 2 SMA PGRI 4 Banjarmasin.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Hasil belajar Sosiologi peserta didik kelas XII IPS 2 SMA PGRI 4 Banjarmasin selama menggunakan strategi pembelajaran inkuiri sosial dapat meningkat, (2) Respon peserta didik kelas XII IPS 2 SMA PGRI 4 Banjarmasin terhadap penggunaan strategi pembelajaran inkuiri sosial menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik senang belajar Sosiologi dengan menerapkan strategi pembelajaran inkuiri sosial.Peneliti menyarankan hendaknya guru mata pelajaran sosiologi menggunakan strategi pembelajaran Inkuiri Sosial untuk materi yang sesuai, serta diharapkan dapat menggunakan strategi pembelajaran kooperatif lainnya yang lebih menarik agar peserta didik termotivasi dalam pembelajaran sosiologi.Kata Kunci : Hasil belajar, Strategi Pembelajaran Inkuiri Sosial, Sosiologi

Abstract

The purpose of research is intended to realize the love of the homeland can be done in the family, school and community. Currently due to the influence of globalization, many Indonesian people are more proud of the culture owned by other nations. The type of research intended here is the type of field research (field research) with a quantitative approach. Field research is a study to obtain the correct data occurs in the field. Data collection with sample probability technique. The research sample is students and students of grade VII selected based on interests and talents for the choir group at SMPN 2 Alalak which amounted to 30 people.Based on the data questionnaires questioning attitude of homeland love of the students conducted three times, from 30 students at the beginning of observation obtained 24 students into the category very good, 4 entered in good category, 1 student is good enough and 1 again entered the category less good, but at the end of observation To 25 students fall into very good category and 5 students fall into either category. In 3 times the implementation of the results obtained is always increased because the teacher as a mentor and mentor routinely explain and motivate students. Prepared planning at the beginning of the school year and the implementation of the program in accordance with the work program resulted in a good and positive homeland love assessment for students who follow the extracurricular activities of choir in SMP Negeri 2 Alalak. Extracurricular activities are beneficial for students in particular and schools in general. Diligent in attending various extrskurikuler activities in school, which is certainly tailored to the talents and interests of students themselves. The existence of fit between activities with talent and interest will add motivation and spirit of students to follow the activity. Keywords: Attitudes, love of the homeland, and choir.Tujuan penelitiani dimaksudkan untuk mewujudkan cinta tanah air dapat dilakukan dilingkungan keluarga, sekolah dan masyarakat. Saat ini akibat pengaruh globalisasi, banyak masyarakat Indonesia lebih bangga terhadap kebudayaan yang dimiliki oleh bangsa lain. Jenis penelitian yang dimaksudkan disini adalah jenis penelitian lapangan (field research) dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian lapangan merupakan suatu penelitian untuk  memperoleh data yang benar terjadi di lapangan. Pengambilan data dengan teknik probabilitas sampel.Adapun sampel penelitian adalah siswa dan siswi kelas VII yang dipilih berdasarkan minat dan bakat untuk kelompok paduan suara di SMPN 2 Alalak yang berjumlah 30 orang.Berdasarkan data isian kuesioner sikap cinta tanah air dari siswa yang dilakukan sebanyak tiga kali, dari 30 siswa diawal observasi diperoleh 24 siswa masuk kategori sangat baik, 4 masuk dalam kategori baik, 1 siswa cukup baik dan 1 lagi masuk kategori kurang baik, tetapi diakhir observasi  menjadi 25 siswa masuk dalam kategori sangat baik dan 5 siswa masuk dalam kategori baik. Dalam 3 kali pelaksanaan hasil yang diperoleh selalu meningkat karena guru selaku pembina dan pembimbing secara rutin menjelaskan serta memotivasi siswa.Perencanaan yang sudah terprogram pada awal tahun ajaran yang sudah dipersiapkan dari sekolah dan pelaksanaan yang dijalankan sesuai dengan program kerja menghasilkan penilaian cinta tanah air yang baik dan positif bagi siswa yang mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler paduan suara di SMP Negeri 2 Alalak. Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang bermanfaat bagi siswa khususnya dan sekolah pada umumnya. Rajin dalam mengikuti berbagai kegiatan ekstrskurikuler di sekolah, yang tentunya disesuaikan dengan bakat dan minat siswa itu sendiri. Adanya kesesuain antara kegiatan dengan bakat dan minat akan menambah motivasi dan semangat siswa untuk mengikuti kegiatan tersebut.Kata Kunci: Sikap, cinta tanah air, dan paduan suara.

Abstract

This Research told about the assumption what if these lessons are taught by professional teachers. In generally, the lessons of history will make students more eager, joyful and meaningful, so that the students know the significance of the history of the nation. The study used action research method during two cycles. The first cycle of research results from 27 states who attended the liveliness of the togetherness in the learning process in cycle 1 with an average value of 6.1 (enough), while in cycle 2 with an average value of 7.1 (good). Learning outcomes complete the first cycle yan 85.19%, while in the second cycle of the complete 96.15% .Ternyata after using the discussion an increase in activity and student learning outcomes. It shows that the lessons of history with discussion method will increase the activity and student learning outcomes in class XII IPS 3 SMAN 1 20011/20012 Tanjung school year.Key words: Activity, learning achievement, discuss method

Abstract

AbstractThe study is purposed to describe: (1) the pattern of activity in the Siring Tendean Park was dominantly carried out by the people who did economic activities. Because there are many street vendors (PKL) and floating market traders who were selling on weekends. Cultural activities, such as the cultural attractions and river trails, shown the characteristics of Banjar culture. Social activities are the community that conducts activities and visitors who interact, recreation and sports in Taman Siring Tendean, as well as students for educational activities. (2) The perceived benefits in terms of economy are the land for floating market traders, street vendors (PKL), and boat drivers (Kelotok) to develop their businesses. The social benefits are also felt by the community and visitors because they can communicate and avoid anti-social attitudes. Cultural benefits for actors of cultural attractions can provide a place for them to express themselves. Health benefits are able to blend in with nature and reduce stress level and also encouraging someone to do physical activities. The benefits of recreation are for refreshing and relaxing (3) The positive impact of the existence of Siring Tendean Park, namely that the economic impact can increase people income, social impacts can be used as a place for people interaction, self expression and recreation, the health effects is people can do some sport activitity and the cultural impact can preserve culture Banjar. Kegiatan budaya, seperti atraksi budaya dan jalur sungai, menunjukkan karakteristik budaya Banjar. Kegiatan sosial adalah komunitas yang melakukan kegiatan dan pengunjung yang berinteraksi, rekreasi dan olahraga di Taman Siring Tendean, serta siswa untuk kegiatan pendidikan. (2) Manfaat yang dirasakan dalam hal ekonomi adalah tanah bagi pedagang pasar terapung, pedagang kaki lima (PKL), dan pengemudi perahu (Kelotok) untuk mengembangkan bisnis mereka. Manfaat sosial juga dirasakan oleh masyarakat dan pengunjung karena mereka dapat berkomunikasi dan menghindari sikap anti-sosial. Manfaat budaya bagi pelaku atraksi budaya dapat memberikan tempat bagi mereka untuk mengekspresikan diri. Manfaat kesehatan dapat menyatu dengan alam dan mengurangi tingkat stres dan juga mendorong seseorang untuk melakukan aktivitas fisik. Manfaat rekreasi adalah untuk menyegarkan dan bersantai (3) Dampak positif dari keberadaan Taman Siring Tendean, yaitu bahwa dampak ekonomi dapat meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat, dampak sosial dapat digunakan sebagai tempat untuk interaksi orang, ekspresi diri dan rekreasi, dampak kesehatannya adalah orang dapat melakukan beberapa kegiatan olahraga dan dampak budaya dapat melestarikan budaya Banjar. Sementara, dampak negatif yang dirasakan adalah jumlah sampah, ada konflik antara pedagang dan Satpol PP dan konflik antara pengunjung.Kata Kunci: aktivitas, ruang publik, taman tendean siring

Abstract

Based on the observation on the students of SD Negeri Tambarangan 1 showed that there was still low cooperation in various group activities.  The method used in this study was qualitative research method.  The results showed that the students had low cooperation in various group activities at school, including cleaning shift, group learning, and classroom organization.  This is due to: (1) lack of the cooperation spirit within the group, (2) the ambiguity and misunderstanding of each role in the group, (3) the students’ inability to utilize their creativity, (4) the existence of conflicts within the group, (5) students were more concerned with their personal interests, (6) lack of trust in the other group members, (7) less involvement, and (8) the absence of good group organization.Keywords: Cooperation, Group Activities

Abstract

The development of historical science in exploring the causes of historical phenomena or causality with monocausal and multicausal approaches has progressed rapidly. However, it is inversely proportional to the study of history which still often explains historical causality with a single one (monocausality) or a centric logo without a scientific approach with a cognitive assessment only. Whereas the causes of history can be explained by the approach of a science (monocausality) and various (multi causality) with a multidimensional approach. The purpose of this study is to provide an alternative for teachers who teach history so that students can analyze various historical causality so that they are not only able to think critically but also be creative and adults so they can get used to the differences. Likewise, the assessment must be directed towards authentic assessment that can bring students to be creative and mature so that they are familiar with differences. The source of this study is through literature studies. The results of the writing are an alternative for history teachers so that students are accustomed to analyzing causality in seeing historical phenomena both mono under the demands of the 2013 curriculum.

Abstract

Based on the observation result of the researcher who is also the teacher of Sociology at the school, there were some weaknesses of students in understanding the lesson namely: (1) lack of enthusiasm; (2) lack of attention at the lesson; (3) feeling shy to ask about the lesson is not understood; (4) inactive involvement of the students on the teaching and learning process and boredom tendency; (5) lack of doing the practice tests. This observation had been supported by the findings that 77% students whose score was under the Minimum Standard Score (KKM) out of 28 students. Only 33% students met the criteria of the Minimum Standard Score (KKM). From the results of this preliminary study, researcher felt the need to make approach change in the teaching and learning process. The objectives of this research were: (1) to increase the students’ motivation; (2) to improve the students’ achievement on Sociology on the topics of Social Group through Students Teams Achievement Division (STAD) Model; (3) to find out the student’s responses on the STAD model. The research method applied was the qualitative one and to overcome the teaching and learning problems is by STAD model. The technique of data collection was observation. As the result, good responses from the students towards this STAD model can be seen from the enthusiasm of the students in following the lessons and the questionnaire results which also showed that 42,86% of students who strongly agreed, and 0% of them who disagreed on the use of STAD model. To increasing the students motivation, a teacher is recommended to apply the STAD model because this model has been tested and researched by several teachers in several different schools, and is has been proven successful in increasing the students motivation and achievement.Key words: Motivation, Study Achievement, STAD Model
