Abstract

There is still a lack of knowledge on the society in Carita District, Pandeglang Regency, Banten Province about the importance of character values. It happens because that is a remote area so that they rarely get direction and guidance, especially related to the value of the character, the solution is the need for a workshop about Implementation of the National Movement of the Revolutionary Mental in Sub-district Carita, Pandeglang Regency, Banten Province. The GNRM workshop is a movement to change the way of thinking of society or youth, change the way of work that has been done so far to be more advanced, change the way of life, as well as attitudes and behavior of society which will further improve aspects of integrity, high ethical aspects and the spirit of mutual cooperation based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution. This workshop is divided into two themes, namely: a) "Implementation of the Cultivation of National Character Values that support the National Movement of the Mental Revolution in the society of Carita Sub-district, Pandeglang Regency, Banten Province". The purpose of the workshop is of course very useful for the society in Carita Sub-district to understand the nature of the implementation of character values which will later be practiced in everyday life. b) "Local wisdom that supports the National Movement of Mental Revolution in the society of Carita Sub-district, Pandeglang Regency, Banten Province". The purpose of this workshop is that the society of Carita are expected to preserve local culture as a national cultural heritage that is not lost even with the very rapid development of the era and towards the era of society 4.0.

Abstract

The background of this research is the beliefe in invisible crocodiles believed by Banjarese of Batang Banyu, in Tabalong River. People there, up to now stil have that kind of belief. The problem in this research si the perspectives Banjarese of Batang Banyu towards invisible crocodiles. The objective is to find out the beliefs Banjarese of Batang Banyu in Tabalong River associated with the invisible crocodiles. A belief which is manifested in an action called ritual. Method for this research was qualitative descriptive with ethnography approach. Before data were collected, first, formulation of the research, research objectives, and literature studies was done. Then, the data collection was carried out in triangulation: indirect observation, interviews and documentation stages. The result showed that belief in the invisible crocodiles caused by their river living environment. In the river, there are strong and ferocious crocodiles. The ability of this crocodiles then is feared and admired by Banjarese People of Batang Banyu. Th feelings of fear and admiration is expressed in a ritual of malabuh. Abstract

Elections in a democracy is one of the fundamental pillars of a process of accumulation willingness of the people. Elections are also a democratic procedure to elect the leader. Elections are the mechanism of power transformation (succession) is the most secure, when compared with other methods. Elections can be said is the fundamental pillar of a democracy. To select regional head and deputy regional head at the district level, was held Election Regional Head and Deputy Head of Region (Election) to select candidates for the Regent and Vice Regent as leaders at the local level. From the previous times elections, the elections and the General Election in Tanah Bumbu allegedly contained the presence of voters who did not vote (non-voters) tend to increase, because of that study was conducted to reveal a phenomenon not choose (non-voters) and Reasons the Voters are not voting in the general elections local Head and Deputy Head (Election) in the year 2010 in the District of Tanah Bumbu, South Kalimantan.Keywords: Phenomenon, not chosen (non-voters), Reason Voters, Election.

Abstract

This study aims to identify lessons the values of Pancasila in Civic Education Subject at SMP Pancasila Palangka Raya that the learning plan of Pancasila values in the subjects of civic education, the implementation process of learning and assessment conducted byCivic Education teacher. This type of research is qualitative. The subjects were Headmaster, Teacher and Students Civic Education. Data collection techniques in this study using interviews, observation and documentation. The technique of validating data in this study using the extension of the observation time, increase persistence and triangulation. Data analysis using data reduction, data display and data verification. The results of this research are teachers’ prepared syllabus and lesson plans developed by MGMP. Implementation of learning activities are divided into three sections beginning, core and closing. Teacher usesmany variety of models in each lesson, such as teaching models the values in the form: 1) the direct teaching of such a discussion; 2) the inclusion of students such as role play, simulations and discussions; 3) critical pedagogy as expressing their opinions. Assessment conducted by the Civic Education teacher at SMP Pancasila Palangka Raya not written tests, oral tests, aspects of the assessment consists of attitude, liveliness, insight, discipline, the ability to express opinions and cooperation. Keywords: Learning, the values of Pancasila, Civic Education Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pembelajaran nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan di SMP Pancasila Palangka Raya yaitu perencanaan pembelajaran nilai- nilai pancasila dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan kewarganegaraan, proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran dan penilaian yang dilakukan oleh guru Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Kepala sekolah, Guru Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan dan Siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan data dilakukan dengan perpanjangan pengamatan waktu, meningkatkan ketekunan dan triangulasi. Analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, display data dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian pembelajaran nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan di SMP Pancasila Palangka Raya dalam perencanaan pembelajaran guru Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan sudah menyiapkan silabus dan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran dibagi menjadi tiga bagian kegiatan awal, inti dan penutup. Guru menggunakan berbagai model yang bervariasi dalam setiap pembelajarannya, seperti model pengajaran nilai-nilai dalam bentuk 1) pengajaran langsung seperti diskusi 2) pelibatan siswa seperti bermain peran, simulasi dan berdiskusi 3) pedagogi kritis seperti mengemukakan pendapat. Penilaian yang dilakukan oleh guru Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan di SMP Pancasila Palangka Raya bukan hanhya tes tertulis, tes lisan, aspek penilaian terdiri dari sikap, keaktifan, wawasan, kedisiplinan, kemampuan mengemukakan pendapat dan kerjasama. Abstract

The issue of this study is how is the competence of Social Studies Teachers at MTsN Barabai. This research objective is to describe the pedagogic competence, personal competence, professional competence, and social competence of social studies teachers at MTsN Barabai. The method of this study used descriptive qualitative approach, describing the competence of social studies teachers of MTsN Barabai: the pedagogic competence, personal competence, professional competence, and social competence.  Data in this study were collected by using (1) questionnaires, (2) observation, (3) interview, and (4) documentation. This study did not use a sample, it means that all population of social studies teachers is involved to be investigated (total sampling). The result of the study showed that pedagogic competence of social studies teachers at MTsN Barabai is 3. 28 or 82. 00 categorized into good criteria. Personal competence is 3. 54 or 88.50 categorized into good criteria. Profesional competence is 2. 98 or 74. 50 categorized into sufficient criteria and for social competence is 3. 17 or 79. 25 categorized as good criteria. Therefore, it can be concluded that the competence of social studies teachers at MTsN Barabai is 3. 24 or 81. 00  which is categorized into good criteria. In order to improve teachers’ competence, social studies teachers of MTsN Barabai are suggested to improve their educational qualification by taking part in training activities. Key Words : Competence of Teachers, Social Studies.

Abstract

Class Action Research is conducted at class VIII SMPN 4 Paringin. They are 29 research subjects (twenty-nine) who study from May to June 2014. This study aims to increase student activity and learning outcomes through the use of learning model CIRC (Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition) aided drawing. Where this type of research is classroom action research (PTK) which uses a model by Kemmis spiral round and Taggart consisting of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. In this study, teachers do five stages in applying the CIRC learning model that survey, question, read, Recite, reviews. Results of research in cycle 1 mean aspects of the overall student after learning implemented using model-assisted drawing on material CIRC social institutions including low category with mastery learning only reached 55.17%. In cycle 2 all aspects of student activity on average achieve active category with learning completeness reached 86.21%. While the response of the students showed a positive result, students are helped and pleased with CIRC assisted learning model image.Keywords: CIRC learning model, student activity, and Learning Outcomes

Abstract

AbstrakPada era perkembangan dunia dalam revolusi 4.0, berbagai tuntutan harus dipenuhi untuk mencegah tergerusnya nilai karakter budaya bangsa. Salah satu upaya untuk menanamkan karakter adalah dengan pendidikan karakter yang berbasis nilai keagamaan. Penanaman karakter perlu diintegrasikan ke dalam pembelajaran khususnya Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) karena sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran IPS yaitu agar peserta didik mampu menelaah permasalahan sosial sehingga menjadi warga negara yang baik. Agar tujuan tersebut tercapai, maka pembelajaran perlu dilakukan dengan mengintegrasikan karakter. Integrasi dari nilai keagamaan ini dapat dilakukan dengan cara antara berdoa sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan pembelajaran, menerapkan sikap peduli terhadap sesama, bekerja sama dan gotong royong, menerapkan keteladanan, serta pembiasaan. Pembiasaan ini meliputi tadarus al-Qur’an, sholat berjamaah, menyelipkan dalil atau hadist yang relevan ke dalam pembelajaran dan memasang poster yang bernuansa Islam seperti asmaul husna dan kata-kata mutiara. Penanaman karakter berbasis nilai agama dalam IPS diharapkan mampu untuk diinternalisasikan oleh peserta didik sehingga dapat membangun karakter. Kata kunci: Pendidikan Karakter, Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial, Nilai keagamaan AbstractIn the era of world development in the 4.0 revolution, various demands must be met to prevent the erosion of the nation's cultural character values. One effort to instill character is by character education based on religious values. Character development needs to be integrated into learning, especially Social Studies because it is matched with the objectives of social studies learning so that students are able to examine social problems so that they become good citizens. In order to achieve these goals, learning needs to be done by integrating character. The integration of religious values can be done by praying before and after learning activities, applying a caring attitude towards others, working together and mutual cooperation, applying exemplary, and habituation. This habit includes reading al-Qur'an, prayer in congregation, slipping relevant propositions, or hadiths into learning and putting up posters with Islamic nuances such as Asmaul Husna and aphorisms. It is hoped that the inculcation of character-based religious values in social studies can be internalized by students so they can build character. Keywords: Character Education, Social Studies, Religious Values

Abstract

Perceptions of education is a cognitive process that is experienced by everyone in understanding information about their environment through sight, hearing, appreciation, feeling, and smell. This study aimed to analyze the low level of education of Sungai Loban villagers. This study used survey method. The study population was all residents of the village of Sungai Loban aged between 16-19 years. Samples of the present study used a non-probability sampling, with the samples of 128 people. The data analysis used descriptive test, test requirement analysis and hypothesis testing using analysis of product moment. This study used a questionnaire as a data collection instrument.The results of this study found that (1) the social environment had a positive influence on the interest to go to college which was proved with r2 value, amounted to 0.0992 or 9.92%, (2) perception of education had a positive influence on the interest to continue to college which was evidenced by the high r2 value, amounted to 0.4173 or 41.73%, (3) the influence of the social environment and perceptions of education to interests of going to college (studies on secondary education students who resided in the village of Sungai Loban Tanah Bumbu regency), simultaneously by 44.3% and the remaining 55.7% was influenced by other factors, but not examined in this study. Students as the next generation should have high education in order to participate in economic development and other fields. The low enrollment rate occured because there were several influencing factors, such as: transportation and other economic factors and personal awareness.Keywords: Social environment, Perceptions about Education, Interests, College.

Abstract

Nonformal education in Paket A, B, and C is one of the civil right for the citizens to be easily accessible and this is held by PKBM. The research has to objective to know the characteristics of learning community and tutor, the role of PKBM Barito in providing facility and equipment for learning, social learning process of Kejar Paket B celebrated by PKBM Barito. The research uses the qualitative method. The source of data is chosen purposively, and the data collection uses observation, interview, and documentation. The research instruments are interview guide, observation sheet, and documentation. Data analysis by data reduction process, data display, and verification. The research finding say that (1) the characteristics of learning community are in variation whether in age, marital status, profession, education background, motivation, skill, the interestedness to subject, expectation after graduation, and problem in their lives. Whereas characteristics of tutor could be seen from the education level, professional competence, and pedagogic competence; (2) the role of PKBM does not work maximally whether in recruiting community learning, providing facility and equipment for learning celebration, and learning evaluation; however PKBM has the role in recruiting tutor and celebration fund; (3) the learning process of social science for Paket B has fulfilled minimal standar involving preparation, implementation, and evaluation but does not work maximally in learning for the mature learners.Key words: social science learning, Kejar Paket, PKBM role, learning community, tutor.

Abstract

The obligation to make SKP (Performance Target Goals) for civil servants started since January 1st 2014. Innovation to resolve that problem is “Table control of resulting credit rate”. This table is modification result from the Table control of resulting credit rate in (Permendikbud Number 83 Year 1993). In academic year 2013/2014 got good criteria 24 teachers (82,76%) and only 5 teachers ( 17,24%) got the best criteria. In year 2014/2015 there was increasing 18 teachers (62,07%) got good criteria and 11 teachers got the best criteria. As the dissemination result, it planed correctly and scheduled (in every month meeting). Dissemination will be able to do spontaneously without planning, if there is a problem faced by the teacher when they use innovation result (table control credit rate) or when made SKP (Performance Target Goals). Utilizing friends who understood about innovation had been done. Then implication application innovation program was successful of development innovation result is attained in SMAN 2 Amuntai to increase result of PKG and SKP will be followed by other schools through MKKS and MGMP in Senior High School and Junior High School.Keywords: Table Control Credit Rate, The Value SKP (Performance Target Goals) and PK Guru (Assessment Work Teacher)    Kewajiban Menyusun SKP (Sasaran Kinerja Pegawai) bagi PNS mulai berlaku sejak 1 Januari 2014. Inovasi yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi masalah di atas adalah membuat “tabel kontrol perolehan angka kredit”. Tabel ini merupakan hasil modifikasi dari tabel perolehan angka kredit yang sudah ada (Permendikbud No. 83 tahun 1993). Pada tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 mendapat kriteria baik 24 orang guru (82,76%)  dan hanya 5 orang (17,24%) mendapat kriteria amat baik. Pada tahun 2014/2015 terjadi peningkatan 18 orang (62,07%) mendapat kriteria baik dan 11 orang mendapat kriteria amat baik (37,93%). Adapun desiminasi hasil direncanakan dengan matang dan terjadwal (setiap ada rapat bulanan). Diseminasi dapat dilakukan secara spontan tanpa perencanaan, jika ada muncul masalah yang dihadapi guru saat menggunakan hasil inovasi (tabel kontrol perolehan angka kredit) atau saat pembuatan SKP. Memanfaatkan teman sejawat yang sudah mengerti tentang inovasi yang dilakukan. Kemudia implikasi penerapan program inovasi berhasil pengembangan hasil inovasi yang telah dicapai di SMA N 2 Amuntai untuk meningkatkan hasil PKG dan SKP akan diimbaskan ke sekolah lain melalui MKKS dan MGMP baik di SMA maupun di SMP.Kata Kunci: Tabel Kontrol Angka Kredit, Nilai SKP Dan PKGuru.
