Abstract

The inaugural Indonesian Independence Day celebration in the new capital, Nusantara, marked a historic milestone. This study analyzes public sentiment toward this event using the IndoBERT model. Data was collected from Twitter during the celebration period and classified into positive, negative, and neutral sentiments. Three main approaches were employed: IndoBERT as a baseline, IndoBERT fine-tuned with IndoNLU data, and IndoBERT applied to TextBlob-labeled data. Results indicate that the TextBlob-IndoBERT model outperforms the others, effectively processing informal Indonesian text with high accuracy. These findings provide strategic insights for the government in understanding public perception regarding the development of Nusantara and demonstrate the potential of Transformer-based sentiment analysis for the Indonesian language. The study recommends further exploration of factors influencing sentiment and analysis on other social media platforms.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology in the era of globalization has a significant impact on obtaining information, especially in the field of education. The right lesson plan must be made by educators as a supporter of success in advancing the education and learning process in schools.  This study aims to apply the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) in analyzing the extent to which the information system developed can be accepted by users and influence user behavior in using the information system for assessing the quality of the lesson plan. This study uses TAM as an analytical framework to evaluate the level of acceptance of the system and produces output in the form of how high the level of acceptance of the information system created. This study uses the construct variables are convenience, usefulness, and acceptance of IT to be analyzed using SmartPLS. The results obtained show that the convenience variable and the usefulness variable have a positive effect on IT acceptance.

Abstract

Campaigns are a form of communication used by politicians to gain support. According to theory, campaigns are persuasive communications aimed at changing the behavior of the communicant as the message recipient. The choice of media in conducting campaigns is an important factor. The role of media will strengthen the communication concept so that the message conveyed can be interpreted according to the goal. In the 2024 presidential campaign, one of the presidential candidates, Ganjar Pranowo, used television advertisements, specifically the Maghrib call to prayer, as part of his campaign strategy. The method used in this research employs a qualitative approach. Visual Rhetoric Theory is used to interpret the message in the video. Additionally, supporting sentiment analysis theory is used to analyze the research subject, namely the public who have seen the video. Public responses were taken from social media comments. Thus, the results of the analysis from both theories are combined into one conclusion. The result is that Ganjar Pranowo made a fairly good impression, but it is not perfect. There are still some errors in the video that raise questions about Ganjar Pranowo's credibility.

Abstract

The State Islamic University of North Sumatra (UIN-SU) Medan has the responsibility for the management and security of information technology (IT). However, the results of an interview with the Head of PUSTIPADA UIN-SU Medan revealed several problems, such as lack of strategic planning, absence of long-term vision, limited resources, lack of competent staff in IT management, and no audits have been conducted. To overcome these problems, an evaluation of IT governance capabilities was conducted using the COBIT 2019 framework and Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) to measure the level of organizational maturity. The results showed that the priority domain MEA03 (Managed Compliance with External Requirements) obtained a score of 100. Based on CMMI, the MEA03 domain reached a maturity level of 100% and was at the Fully Achieved capability level (85–100%). Thus, the capability level objective process MEA03 has reached level 5 and the audit status is declared achieved.

Abstract

In the digital era, the spread of hoaxes and disinformation on online news platforms is a serious challenge that can affect public opinion and social stability. This research aims to analyze the application of Big Data technology in automatically detecting hoaxes and disinformation. The methods used include data collection from various online news sources, text processing using Natural Language Processing (NLP), and the application of machine learning algorithms to classify news based on their level of credibility. The dataset used includes news from various categories, which are validated with trusted sources. The results show that the combination of Big Data, NLP, and machine learning techniques can improve the accuracy of hoax detection with a high success rate. This study is expected to contribute to the development of a fake news detection system that is more effective and adaptive to the trend of information dissemination in the digital world.

Abstract

This research explores the integration of Big Data technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in decision-making in the context of Smart City. With the massive growth of data from various sources such as IoT, sensors, and information systems, Big Data is becoming an important foundation for in-depth analysis. Meanwhile, AI provides the ability to process data in real-time, identify patterns, and generate accurate recommendations. This research aims to analyze how the combination of these two technologies can improve efficiency, sustainability, and quality of life in cities. The methods used include literature review and case analysis in several smart cities. The results show that the integration of Big Data and AI can support faster, more precise, and data-driven decision-making, thus encouraging the creation of a smarter and more responsive city.

Abstract

This research examines the mapping of nutritional status in toddlers as an important indicator for assessing child health and development, focusing on the Lowokwaru Health Center in Malang. Data shows that the mapping of nutritional status is still not accurate, prompting this study to identify toddlers at risk of stunting and design appropriate interventions. Quick and accurate mapping of nutritional status is crucial for reducing the risk of stunting and preventing malnutrition in toddlers. The data used comes from anthropometric measurements, including height-for-age (HAZ), weight-for-height (WHZ), and weight-for-age (WAZ). The method applied is K-Means clustering, where, after preprocessing the data, the researchers determine the number of clusters and centroids. Grouping is conducted by calculating Euclidean distance. The results indicate that 75% of toddlers at the Lowokwaru Health Center are experiencing excess nutrition and are at risk of stunting. These findings provide a strong basis for enhancing interventions and preventing stunting in the region.

Abstract

The design of the short semester application menu on Universitas Amikom Purwokerto's student web platform using the TOGAF ADM framework aims to create an efficient, structured, and user-friendly information system. The design process begins with the Preliminary Phase to define the scope and continues to the Technology Architecture, ensuring the use of modern, scalable, and secure technology. Business processes are modeled using BPMN to enhance workflow transparency and efficiency, while data and application architecture ensure accurate information management and optimal system integration. This system allows students to apply for short semesters online, process payments, and receive real-time verification. The implementation supports the university's strategic vision of delivering modern, efficient, and technology-driven academic services while improving user experience and operational efficiency in academic administration.

Abstract

Electricity has become a basic need for some human beings because all activities are almost related to electricity. Indonesia has several power plant projects and the largest power plant is generated from PLTU which can have an impact that we feel is greenhouse gas emissions and bad air pollution and also relies heavily on coal while the natural resources are not renewable with this fact if we reduce the use of coal it will be a boomerang for Indonesia itself. This research aims to predict areas that can potentially become Solar Power Plants with a machine learning regression model approach. So hopefully this research can be a reference in the development of Solar Power Plants in Indonesia. The methods used are Linear Regression (LR), Lasso Regression (LR), Ridge Regression (RR), and Support Vector Regression (SVR). The R2 coefficients for solar radiation were 0.924; 0.910; 0.917; 0.949; and 0.987, respectively.

Abstract

This study compares the linear regression and random forest algorithms in predicting the number of Iconnet service customers in the Jabodetabek and Banten regions. The dataset comprises two years of sales data processed through filtering, cleaning, and labeling. Evaluation metrics include MAE, MAPE, and RMSE. The results show that linear regression performs better in predicting customer numbers, achieving MAE 369.85, MAPE 8.80%, and RMSE 388.89, compared to random forest with MAE 679.37, MAPE 16.95%, and RMSE 794.26. Conversely, random forest outperforms linear regression in bandwidth prediction (MAE 733.80, MAPE 26.61%, RMSE 860.20) and regional prediction (MAE 25607.49, MAPE 23.42%, RMSE 38177.12), as linear regression produces higher errors. The findings highlight the importance of selecting algorithms based on data characteristics and application needs. This research provides strategic insights for developing data-driven customer service solutions.
