Abstract

Industri otomotif Indonesia telah menjadi sebuah pilar krusial didalam sektor manufaktur di negara ini sebab banyak perusahaan kendaraan beroda empat yang terkenal membuka kembali pabrik-pabrik manufaktur kendaraan beroda empat atau menaikkan kapasitas produksinya di Indonesia. Oleh sebab itu dengan meningkatnya penjualan kendaraan beroda empat maka semakin tinggi juga permintaan sparepart baik untuk perakitan kendaraan beroda empat baru maupun kendaraan beroda empat yang sudah lama. Salah satu sparepart dalam perakitan kendaraan beroda empat diantaranya merupakan pegas atau sistem suspensi pada kendaraan beroda empat. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan penelitian terhadap sifat mekanis serta strutur mikro baja SUP 9 dari supplier JTS (Kode Flatbar JSRE) dan supplier Jianying (Kode Flatbar JYRE) dengan mengunakan suhu tempering 390, 420, 4500C dengan oli quenching 500C. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian dapat disimpulkan pengaruh parameter setting temperature tempering furnace pada produk JTS dan Jianying yaitu pada produk JTS didapatkan hasil pada suhu variable N3 produk after tempering sesuai spesifikasi kekerasan produk sebesar 429-487 HV (hardness vickers) dengan tensile strength 151,771 Mpa. Sedangkan pada produk Jianying pada suhu variable N2 produk after tempering sesuai spesifikasi kekerasan produk sebesar 429-483 HV (hardness vickers) dengan tensile strength 155,794 Mpa. Sehingga agar terhindar dari kegagalan proses heat treatment maka pada material JTS dan Jianying diberikan identitas agar memudahkan dalam setting temperature tempering furnace.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kekuatan dan kelenturan material Grade A apabila dilaksanakan pengelasan menggunakan proses las FCAW dengan sudut kampuh 60º, 40º, dan yang paling kecil 30º, durasi yang diperlukan dalam menyelesaikan pengelasan dan kesulitannya dalam pelaksanaan pengelasan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen yang dilakukan pada beda uji dengan sudut kampuh 60º, 40º, dan 30º yang dilakukan pengelasan dengan parameter pengelasan yang sama meliputi penggunaan jenis kawat las, ampere, voltage, dan travel speed. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan cara mengamati secara langsung benda uji kemudian disimpulkan dan ditentukan hasil penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya sedikit perbedaan kekuatan tarik antara benda uji dengan sudut kampuh 60º, 40º, dan 30º. Specimen uji tarik sudut kampuh 60º memiliki kekuatan tarik rata-rata 48,45 kgf/mm2, Spesimen uji tarik sudut kampuh 40º memiliki kekuatan tarik rata-rata 43,30 kgf/mm2, dan Spesimen uji tarik sudut kampuh 30º memiliki kekuatan tarik rata-rata 43,01 kgf/mm2. Semua lokasi patahan uji tarik terputus di area logam dasar. Pada uji lengkung benda uji dengan sudut kampuh 60º, 40º, dan 30º tidak terdapat cacat terbuka. Durasi pengelasan yang dibutuhkan dalam menyelesaikan pengelasan sudut kampuh 60º selama 47,2 menit, sudut kampuh 40º selama 36,6 menit, dan sudut kampuh 30º selama 27,7 menit.

Abstract

This research was conducted to make a more effective and efficient equipment to facilitate the processing of corn with a corn sheller machine. This corn sheller machine will later be intended for independent farmers who shell corn in the direct rice field area, which previously had dried the corn on their plants so that a sheller machine was needed that could peel the corn and its husks. Besides that, these farmers usually use motorcycles, especially the Honda Supra X 125R underbone motorcycle which is often found as a mobility vehicle to the rice field area, therefore researchers are looking for more benefits from the farmers' motorcycle vehicles which are intended for mobility only, but now they can It is also used as a driving force for the corn sheller machine so that when the corn is harvested it can be peeled directly using a corn sheller engine powered by a Honda Supra X 125R motorcycle. Then for the corn sheller machine itself, it uses a model of the corn sheller machine with the rice thresher method (direct feeder type) with a capacity of 500 kg/hour so that when farmers go home from the fields, they can directly bring clean corn shells.

Abstract

The performance of a vehicle is influenced by many things. One of the things that affect is the selection of the type of fuel. In the engine, the mixture of air and gasoline is compressed by the piston to a very small volume and then ignited by the fire generated by the spark plug. Although in society that high octane fuel produces good performance, it is not always the case. The choice of fuel type must be taken into account for the compression ratio of the motor. Like the 2-stroke motor, it is still popular today, because it has great power which is suitable for regions in our country. For a long time, 2-stroke motorcycles have been known as motorbikes that have simple engine construction, large power, exhaust that is not easily porous, and easy to maintain. There is a significant difference between Pertamax turbo fuel, shell-v power, and Akr in terms of performance on a 2004 Yamaha Rx-King 2-stroke motorcycle.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the value of the pump capacity at each suction pipe replacement and to determine the power value caused by the effect of replacing the suction pipe. In this research, there are several stages starting with the installation of a pump, measuring the flow of water, measuring the voltage and measuring the current of the water pump. Fluid flow rate is the volume rate or the volume of fluid flowing per unit time. How to measure the power of a single phase electric motor, which requires a tool called a clammeter where this tool can be used to measure the value of current and voltage. From the results of measuring the current and voltage values, the formula P = V x I, P = motor power value, V = voltage value and I = current value. Abstract

Stainless steel or stainless steel is a metal that is widely used in the industrial world. One of them is the austenitic stainless steel group due to its corrosion resistance, weldability and ease of shaping, making it widely used in industry. Stainless steel that is included in the food grade category is stainless steel with a composition of 18/8 or 18/10. The meaning of this code indicates the composition of chromium and nickel content. Samples were immersed in seawater for 7 weeks. The study used 10 samples, namely sample 1 and sample 2 were samples that did not experience welding and did not experience bending, samples 3, 4, 5, and 6 were samples that experienced welding, and samples 7, 8, 9 and 10 were samples that experienced bending 90 °. From the 3 types of test methods, it can be concluded that those undergoing welding had a higher corrosion rate than the samples subjected to bending 90° and samples that were not welded and not subjected to bending had the lowest corrosion rates.

Abstract

In the production process of oil and gas, corrosion is one of the factors to considered in planning the pipe will be used to adjust to the needs of operation. In this study, the pipe material used in the oil and gas production process is A.106. GR.B. To prevent potential failure or damage during operation, the corrosion rate is monitored using the weight loss method with a coupon sample and also measuring the pipe wall thickness with Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement (UTM). The pipes taken as data are 4 production well pipes, namely Well Z2, Well Z3, Well Z4 and Well Z5. The results of data processing showed that the corrosion rate value on ell Z5 is 3.20 mpy, Z3 is 1.95 mpy, Z4 is 1.82 mpy and Z2 is 0.92 mpy. While the corrosion rate values obtained through calculation with pipe wall thickness measurements are well Z5 which 4.01 mpy, Z3 is 3.24 mpy, Z4 is 3.20 mpy and Z2 is 1.50 mpy. Base on the assessment of the corrosion rate with the two methods above, the key is that the corrosion rate by measuring the thickness of the pipe wall has a greater value due to external corrosion the occurs in the well pipe of the production process. From the results of the corrosion rate value obtained, well pipes that have greater corrosion value will have a shorter remaining pipe life.
