Abstract

Water has a very important role in the life of humans and other creatures. Population growth must be followed by the availability of clean and healthy water. This research was conducted at the Manyar Raya Resort Sukomulyo Housing, Manyar District, Gresik Regency. The total population in 2018 was around 400 people, consisting of various ages. The purpose of this study is to: 1) determine the need for clean water for housing until 2025, 2) determine the hydraulic conditions of the pipeline network (pressure, speed, and slope of the hydraulic line), and 3) knowing the analysis of the domestic water demand for Manyar Raya Resort housing. This study uses a quantitative method with an exponential approach. The discharge data and network plan were obtained from the Gresik Regency PDAM office and field observations. The purpose of observation is to collect data, check the location, and collect data. Completion of research calculations with EPANET program tools. The results of this study are: 1) Manyar Raya Resort housing requires 3,925 liters of water/day with a service level of 90%. 2) The hydraulic condition of the clean water velocity is 0.01 – 0.07 m/sec, the pipe water pressure is in the range of 10 – 60 mH2O3, and the slope of the hydraulic line is between 0.02 – 0.14 m/km. 3) The results of the hydraulics analysis, the diameter of the main distribution pipe plan is 100 mm with a roughness coefficient of 120 (fine pipe type), the highest head loss in the pipe is 1.745 meters and the lowest is 0.302 meters, and makes the dimensions of the useful capacity of the tube measuring 2.75 x 2.75 x 3.85 m. Thus, the need for clean water in 2025 can still be met, and the construction of new reservoirs is used when the PDAM water dies and for a long period of time. Abstract

In the book AWS D1.1 the allowable open weld angle is between 60o to 75o, then is there a difference in mechanical strength between the 60o angle and the 75o angle?. This will be studied in this study and aims to compare the effect of variations in the V 60o joint angle with the V 75o joint angle on the mechanical properties of ASTM A36 carbon steel welded joints with with a width of 180 mm and a thickness of 16 mm. This research method using tensile test and vickers test. Tensile test process used to measure the resistance of a material to static forces given slowly. The obtained mechanical properties are known as strength and elasticity of metal. In the tensile test the load is given continuously and slowly increases in size, at the same time observations are made about the elongation experienced by the test object and a stress-strain curve is produced. Hardness testing using the vickers method aims to determine hardness of a material. Based on research that has been carried out, the conclusions are as follows: a) in welding the V 60o seam angle requires a welding electrode of 0.20 kg and in welding a 75o V seam angle requires a welding electrode of 0.27 kg, b) variation of the angle of V 75o has the largest stress value on specimen B2 with a value of 444.25 Mpa, c) specimens with variations in the V 60o joint angle have a higher hardness value than the specimen with a 75o V joint angle variation. Abstract

In this study, the aim of this study was to test the welding of the weld seam v. with variations in current strength of 60, 80 and 100 Amperes. Welding machine using RYU 450 watts, electrodes using AWS E 7016 and plate material for specimens using ASTM A36 with data properties of elastic modulus of 200,000 Mpa, yield strength 250 Mpa, tensile strength 400 Mpa, and mass density 7850 kg/m3 data on material properties obtained from SolidWork 2018 data base. The approach method for making test specimens uses a jig paper tool that is used as a mall (pattern) and jig welding as a specimen plate holder or specimen plate handle (given welding studs) so that the specimen plate does not move when welding is seam and functions also to minimize the deformation caused by welding. This test was carried out at the Industrial Service Standardization and Policy Agency, the Industrial Research and Standardization Institute, which is located on Jalan Jagir-Surabaya, with the number of tests for each variation of 2 x tests. At a current of 60 amperes the tensile strength values ​​are 350.08 Mpa and 177.67 Mpa, 80 amperes produce a tensile strength value of 348.64 Mpa and 224.44 Mpa, 100 amperes produce a tensile strength value of 285.17 Mpa and 275.47 Mpa. The results of the fractures from the above tests all show in the weld section. The hardness test of specimens-01.02 and 03 produced values ​​on the weld surface of 88.6, HRB, 88.9 HRB and 88.7 HRB, on the HAZ surface of 71.3 HRB, 75.2 HRB and 76.9 HRB

Abstract

The function of the spring is to accept dynamic loads and hold it for a certain time and then release it. Under these conditions the spring steel must have a good level of elasticity to be used as a spring. Cooling media during the quenching process and holding time during tempering have a very important role in determining the hardness value of the resulting material, the hardness value is influenced by changes in the microstructure that occur in the material. The research was conducted at the laboratorium PT. Indospring Tbk Gresik and data collection from November 20, 2021. After a series of tests and discussions were carried out, several conclusions were obtained from the final project research which can be described as follows In the quenching-tempering process, the mechanical properties of the JIS SUP 9 material are obtained as follows. The lowest hardness value is in the 90 minute tempering time variation with HBD value 2.85 • The highest hardness value is in the 50 minute tempering time variation. With an HBD value of 3.17 ,The hardness value that most conforms to the standard is in the variation of the tempering time of 60-90 minutes with an HBD value of 2.86-2.97 2. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Pertamax 92 and Pertalite 90 fuels on the power and torque performance of the 2008 100 cc Supra Fit X motorbike and also to obtain precise data regarding the percentage of fuel consumption tests obtained from Pertamax 92 and Pertalite 90 fuels. This is done by dyno test and also fuel consumption test. From the results of the dyno test, the torque results from pertamax fuel are 15.37 N/m and from pertalite fuel the torque results are 14.81 N/m while for the power from Pertamax fuel is 14.53 HP and for power from Pertamax fuel is 14.53 HP. pertalite fuel of 13.88 HP. And for the test results of Pertamax and Pertalite fuel consumption. Pertamax fuel is classified as more efficient than pertalite fuel with test results of fuel consumption of 0.242 ml / s while pertalite fuel is 0.244 ml / s

Abstract

Planning and controlling time and costs are part of the overall construction project management. The existence of significant cost and time deviations indicates poor project management. Cost management and time management activities can be carried out using a method known as the Earned Value Method. The Earned Value Method is used to estimate the end time project completion and project performance. The results of the analysis using the Earned Value Method on the Graha Citra Kembangan housing development project are the project completion time ini accordance with the project qwal plan and the costs incurred are less than the budgeted cost (BAC). The difference between the contract costs (BAC) and the actual costs incurred (ACWP) reached Rp. 36.170.100. There are delays in the completion of work in several weeks of the project cycle. However, at the end of the project completion (week 40), the work was carried out in time according to schedule (estimate project plan time).

Abstract

The development of science and technology in the field of analysis and construction planning is currently increasing, especially foundations. The foundation is a building structure that is in direct contact with the ground. This is because the foundation serves to distribute the load of the building to the soil layer so that if it is deep planning and implementation is not done properly it will result in the failure of the structure above it. The development of a construction project such as the development of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahul Ulum which is located in the Duduk Sampeyan District of Gresik Regency requires many things to support from planning to implementation. The foundation used in the construction of the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahul Ulum building is a type of strauss foundation. The reason for using a strauss foundation is because of the cohesive soil condition so that there is a potential for foundation settlement to occur so that researchers feel the need to use this type of foundation. The structural planning will be analyzed using the STAAD Pro program. In this study, the results of the vertical loading analysis obtained a maximum vertical force value of Pu of 454.04 kN, Mux of 0.000049 kNm, and Muy of 0.99 kNm. In addition, the dimensions of a strong pile cap to withstand the load used reinforcement 16 x 200 mm with a pile cap type PC7 with dimensions of 0.45 m x 0.45 m and PC11 with a pile cap shear strength is 465,564 kN.

Abstract

The need for clean water in Tambak Rejo Village is very large. The population in 2022 is ± 2,100 people. This village does not yet have a clean water distribution network, the community generally uses seasonal water sources such as reservoirs and lakes which in the dry season will dry up. Therefore, researchers feel the need to plan a clean water network with the aim of meeting water needs in the village. This study includes population projections in 2027, water needs, design of pipe installation patterns, and calculation of the budget plan needed in planning the piping network in Tambak Rejo Village. The conclusions of this study are: 1. The results of the projected analysis of the population of Tambak Rejo Village in 2027 are as many as 2,278 people and for the water needs of the residents of Tambak Rejo Village in 2027 it is 374,773 liters/day or equal to 4.34 liters/second. 2. The pipe used is HDPE pipe because it is very suitable with the characteristics of the region, and is very strong. The diameter that can be used from the analysis results are two types of sizes, namely pipes with a size of 63 mm and 90 mm. 3. Planning for the installation of a water pipe network in Tambak Rejo village requires a fee of IDR. 554,380,000.00- (five hundred fifty-four million three hundred and eighty-nine thousand rupiah).

Abstract

The performance of motorized vehicles that are more than five years old tends to decline. Today, fuel manufacturers are very diverse, even though they have the same octane rating. Each fuel certainly has different characteristics. The need for testing to determine the performance and consumption of the motor. This study aims to determine the effect of Pertamax, Shell Super, AKRA92 fuel with 92 octane on performance and efficiency, especially on automatic motorcycles Honda Beat FI 110cc in 2013. Fuel. From the dynotest results, the torque and power produced by the AKRA92 are 13.15Nm and 12.72HP, then Pertamax 11.51Nm and 11.91HP, the last is Shell Super 10Nm and 11.72HP. Meanwhile, from the test results of fuel consumption efficiency per 250 ml, namely AKRA 92 10.37km then Pertamax 9.95km and lastly Shell Super 9.64km. Of the three fuels, the most efficient in fuel consumption is AKRA92. Fuel that has high performance will automatically have a more complete combustion. If the resulting combustion is complete, the energy produced will be greater with the same amount of fuel. This is what causes the fuel that has high performance automatically fuel consumption will be low.

Abstract

Asphalt is one of the materials used as road pavement material, this material was chosen because of its good and comfortable final result as flexible pavement. One way to prevent damage to the pavement due to vehicle loads is to improve the quality and stability of the pavement. Therefore, the use of additives is an alternative. Plastic basic materials that are difficult to decompose need to be handled properly in addition to recycling solutions with an increase in their functional value. Utilization of plastic waste as an additional material in the AC-BC (Asphalt Concrete-Binder Course) layer mixture in order to increase its stability value, as well as one of the concrete steps to reduce waste that is difficult to decompose by increasing its function value. In this function value. In this study, the addition of PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) plastic to the AC-BC asphalt mixture affected the value of the marshall characteristics. With the effect caused by the addition of PET plastic, the higher the percentage of the mixture, the higher the percentage of the mixture, the higher the stability, VMA, VIM, and MQ values formed. Meanwhile, the value of VFB and flow tends to decrease as the PET plastic content increases. The percentage of addition of PET plastic to the AC-BC asphalt mixture also affects the density value where the higher the percentage value, the lower the density value and can increase the VIM value. So that the asphalt mixture will visually have a lot of voids.
