Abstract

This research aims to understand better how a brand which perceived by an individual can effects his/her preferences, wording (word of mouth), and peer group(s). In case study, this research is using Apple brand because Apple brand has become the eye of the world and most trending topic on their product launching every year. And after its launching, there will be always reviews about its product. This research questions are examined through a set of questionnaires towards people who has Apple brand’s products. The findings of this study contribute to our current understanding of how our word of mouth towards effect one’s brand. The practical implications of this study suggest that brands should be always close to its market by making a better product which has the capability for consumer to express his or her self through a brand and by doing it, simultnously create consumer’s love toward a brand but not by supporting a group or tribe toward specific brand if they want to penetrate the market better and more efficiently.

Abstract

This study aims  to analyze and measure financial performance of PT. Astra International Tbk. using financial ratio analysis and du pont analysis. In conducting the research, data taken from company financial statement from 2012 until 2017. From financial ratio analysis, in liquidity ratio, capital structure ratio, asset management efficiency ratio, profitability ratio and market value ratio indicated if the company has increased every year. From du pont analysis show a continuous increase in Net Profit Margin and Total Asset Turnover every year. This increase is a positive increase so that the financial performance of PT. Astra International in the 2012-2017 period had declined but began to improve starting in 2016 because starting in 2016, the company could manage assets well and efficiently.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of policy on the amount of dividends on the stock price of companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange. The determinants tested in this study are dividend policy. the object in this study is the stock price of the companies incorporated in LQ - 45 for the period 2006 to 2008. Subjects in this study are companies incorporated in LQ - 45 engaged in the financial industry, there are 10 companies in 2006 to 2008 that meet the criteria used as a sample. The data used is secondary data collected from the company's financial statements. the method used in this research is analytical descriptive method, to describe data, facts, traits and relationships that occur systematically, factually and accurately. The results of this study indicate that the dividend policy has a significant effect on the company's stock price of 78.2%, while the rest is influenced by other variables.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect between job characteristic, perceived organizational support, work engagement, and employee performance focusing in IT startup company in Indonesia. Work engagement has been theorized and proven as a mediator between its antecedents to employee performance. But very little research has been focusing on IT sector. Data are collected through questionnaire aiming at employee working in IT sector of various startup companies in Indonesia. Total sample used in this research is 389. Data analysis is conducted with Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) using AMOS software. The result of this research shows that job characteristic is significant at level 0,05 to work engagement. It is also applied to perceived organizational support with 0,05 significant level to work engagement. While their direct effects to employee performance is not significant, by the mediation of work engagement both job characteristic and perceived organizational support is significant to employee performance. This research confirms that in IT sector of startup companies in Indonesia, the effect between job characteristic and perceived organizational support to employee performance are fully mediated by work engagement.

Abstract

he purpose of this study was to determine the predictions of bankruptcy in the Automotive Sector Manufacturing Companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2015-2017 based on the results of the Altman Z-score, Springate (S-score) and Zmijewski method analysis. This study uses secondary data, it was the annual financial report of the Automotive Sector Manufacturing Company for the period 2015-2017 using the technique of documentation and analyzed by the Altman Z-score method, Springate (S-score), and Zmijewski. The final results of this study indicate that there is a difference in the percentage of bankruptcy rates of each company from each method used. The results of the prediction of the Altman Z-score bankruptcy method, it was the bankrupt category of 25.00%, the non-bankrupt category of 8.33% and the grey area category of 66.67%. The prediction results of Springate (S-score) bankruptcy method, it was the bankrupt category of 66.67%, and the non-bankrupt category of 33.33%. The prediction results of Zmijewski bankruptcy method, it was the bankrupt category of 8.33%, and the non-bankrupt category by 91.67%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of the Tax Amnesty Program and the results generated by the Program to the Level of Taxpayer Compliance, Tax Management, and its Contribution to the Establishment of the Taxation System. The type of research conducted is descriptive qualitative research by collecting materials from the literature, website research and then discussing the Tax Amnesty event based on materials taken from the literature. The results of this study indicate that the Tax Amnesty Program is able to increase Taxpayer Risk Levels, provide taxpayers with ease in their tax matters, but the Tax Amnesty Program does not have a stake in tax management from taxpayers. It is also found that the Tax Amnesty Program has several weaknesses that have been anticipated by other Government Regulations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze factors that affect the stock price that are listed in BEI within a period between year 2012 to 2015. This research is a study to determine the influence between Current Ratio, Return on Asset, Return on Equity, Debt to Equity Ratio, Total Turnover Asset, and Dividend Policy towards stock price. The population used in this research are all manufacture companies that are listed in BEI during the research period. The samples are collected by using the purposive sampling method. This research used multiple linear regression, with t-statistic test, F-statistic test, and adjusted coefficient of determination to determine the truth about hypotheses. The result of this research are Return on Equity has significant effect on the stock price, while Current Ratio, Return on Asset, Debt to Equity Ratio, Total Turnover Asset, and Dividend Policy has non-significant effect on the stock price. Together, Current Ratio, Return on Asset, Return on Equity, Debt to Equity Ratio, Total Turnover Asset, and dividend policy have significant effect on stock price.

Abstract

This research aims to test the influence about fundamental factors which is consisting of Retrun on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Net Profit Margin (NPM) to share price. The sample of this research is the manufacture company which is registered in Indonesian Stock Exchange during 2012 - 2016. This research uses 12 samples which is choosen by purposive sampling method. The results showed that ROA and NPM have positive but unsignifcant effect on price share, ROA has positive and significant effect on price share, and DER has negative and unsignificant effect on price share. ROA, ROE, DER, and NPM all simultaneously have significant effect on price share. Moreover, the result that has been obtained by using R-Square is 90,41% and the remaining 9,59 % influenced by other factors.
