Abstract

We test the relationship between firm size, liquidity, leverage, and GDP with financial distress for a sample of companies from IDX Indonesia from 2020 to 2021, using 18 observations of textile and garment companies. In our test, we used panel data regression to test the hypothesis and MRA to measure the moderating variable. We found that almost all textile and garment companies experienced financial difficulties after the pandemic. Firm size and liquidity are factors that affect financial distress in textile and garment companies. Firm size has a positive influence on financial distress. GDP has a positive moderating effect on the relationship between liquidity and financial distress

Abstract

Investment opportunities greatly determine the company value based on formed share prices. Growth of capital is often observed by the indicator of the market Stock Price Index. Stock Price Index fluctuation is significant to determine whether investors will sell, hold, or buy more shares. This study aims to analyze and examine the factors influencing the exchange rate, inflation and interest rates on return investment in the Sharia Life Insurance Companies in the period 2018-2020. The method of research is using the quantitative and regression analysis. The sample is the Sharia Life Insurance Companies which are consistenly publish financial reports for the 2018-2020 period listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with a total sample of 52 companies. The sampling technique is non-probability sampling with saturated sampling method. The data was analyzed with IBM SPSS version 21 and was carried out by several tests such as validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, linear regression analysis and coefficient of determination test. The results of this study indicate that the exchange rate, inflation and interest rates simultaneously and significantly influence on investment returns. The results of the partial test demonstrates that the exchange rate, inflation and interest rates have a significant but negative effect on return investment. If the exchange rate increases, investors will not be interested in holding their shares. It causes the investor not interested to switch their portfolio into deposit because of the low interest rate and the declining trend of inflation, which caused inflation does not have significant effect on return.

Abstract

There are many factors that cause the performance of health services in Papua to be still low compared to other regions, including related to the number of health facilities and personnel, management of health facilities and personnel, geographical conditions, supporting facilities and infrastructure, community awareness, and especially in the field of health services, especially the Yahukimo district. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, namely data collection by interviews, documentation and observation with data analysis, namely data reduction (data reduction), data display (display data), and conclusion drawing/verification (drawing conclusions/verification) with triangulation techniques on the data obtained. The implementation of the Acceleration of Health Service Outreach in Yahukimo District, Papua Province has not been fully felt by the OAP community and the results achieved have not been optimal in developing efforts to prevent and eradicate diseases, especially in reducing morbidity, mortality and disability caused by communicable, non-communicable diseases as well as outbreaks and disasters. procedurally this policy is appropriate, but in terms of time, cost, place and implementation because it has not met the standard, quality, equitable and affordable and promotes OAP community participation in the health sector. From the results of the discussion of the Efficiency dimension, it cannot be said to be Efficiency because the Policy has not yet been fulfilled in realizing adequate health services for OAP, because the implementation of health services in health service units and visits to residential housing of OAP has not been carried out optimally as a solution for researchers to make the AGIYAI Model (Ability, Government, Innovation, Yield, Acceleration Of Service Coverage, Implementation). This model is offered and is considered a suitable model for accelerating the reach of health services in Yahukimo District, Papua Province.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence inflation and exchange rates have on the trade balance in 3 OIC member countries namely Indonesia, Brunei Darussalam, and Saudi Arabia Starting from 2012-2021. This research uses a quantitative approach with panel data types, The analysis tool used is Eviews 10 with the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) method. Based on the results of this study shows that inflation and exchange rates have a significant effect on the trade balance in the 3 OIC member countries for the short term and also the long term. The variable which more dominantly affects the trade balance both in the short and long term is inflation. Where a low inflation rate will not have a significant effect on the trade balance so a low increase in inflation will still increase the balance sheet trade in 3 OIC member countries. The inflation rate can also cause a country not to be able to compete in world trade so exports decline and certainly affect the surplus trade balance in 3 OIC member countries.

Medan City has a large population, which leads to a high unemployment rate. High school and post-secondary school graduates are the main targets of the educated unemployment rate. This research uses panel data regression analysis using smart PLS application, which is a quantitative research method that takes secondary data from questionnaires to determine how much influence the independent variables have on the dependent variables. Based on the research findings, The number of workers has a large influence on educated unemployment in Medan city. This shows that the number of workers has control over the existing level of educated unemployment. Educated unemployment is strongly influenced by the availability of charity funds. It can be interpreted that the number of educated unemployment is influenced by the availability of charity wealth.
