Abstract

The rapid development of the global internet has significantly impacted business and consumer shopping behavior, leading to the emergence of two dominant purchasing methods: online and offline. Each of these methods offers distinct advantages and challenges, which in turn influence customer satisfaction. Satisfied customers are more likely to become loyal, a process shaped by their purchasing experiences. This study focuses on analyzing customer responses to improve the quality and evaluation of a local brand, Magnesium137 Store in Blitar. Utilizing an associative study technique with a quantitative approach, the research surveyed customers who made both online and offline purchases. Data were analyzed using path analysis to examine the effects of these purchasing methods on customer satisfaction and loyalty. The results revealed that both online and offline purchases significantly impact customer satisfaction. However, only offline purchases have a notable effect on customer loyalty, while customer satisfaction plays a crucial role in fostering loyalty.

Abstract

Every business activity is always filled with uncertainty which can create risks. These risks can have a negative impact on achieving the company's vision, mission and goals. Therefore, handling these risks must be carried out in a comprehensive and integrated manner. Risk management is a system or method for managing, supervising and controlling a company's exposure to risk. This research uses COSO ERM 2017 as a reference for conducting gap analysis and designing a company risk management framework. Apart from that, this research also aims to design a risk management framework according to the COSO ERM 2017 framework. The results of this research show that TMAP has not implemented every risk management principle based on COSO ERM 2017. However, there are several principles that have been implemented by TMAP, namely demonstrating commitment to core values; Attracts, Develops and Retains Capable Individuals; Analyze Business Context, Formulate Business Objectives; Identify Risks. However, these principles have not been implemented completely, but only in part. With this research, it is hoped that it will be able to provide benefits and be useful for the following parties, namely that this research can be input for improving the function and role of risk management in operational activities so that it can increase productivity in accordance with the company's strategy. And academically, this research can be a reference for future research on risk management, especially in companies operating in the chemical trading industry.

SCDS spread is an indicator that can be used to determine investment risk in a country. This research aims to determine the influence of macroeconomic factors, namely the inflation rate, GDP, IDX Composite Index, exchange rate, and BI reference interest rate on the movement of Indonesia's SCDS spread with a five-year tenor. The data analysis method uses a multiple linear regression model. The sample period that will be used in this research uses monthly time series data, namely 168 months (January 2010 to December 2023). The research results show that the inflation rate and exchange rate have a significant and positive effect on Indonesia's SCDS spread. Meanwhile, GDP and IDX Composite Index have a significant and negative effect on Indonesia's SCDS spread. The GDP variable is the macroeconomic factor that has the most influence on the movement of Indonesia's SCDS spread with a regression coefficient of -1.73. The independent variable used in this research is able to explain its influence on the dependent variable (Indonesia’s SCDS spread ) by 66.65% and the remaining 33.35% is explained by other variables that were not included in the research.

Abstract

Islamic banking has experienced rapid growth in Southeast Asia, driven by a large Muslim population and supportive government policies. However, challenges remain in implementing a standardized Islamic financial structure due to diverse cultural and economic landscapes. This study investigates the effects of Islamic Corporate Social Responsibility (ICSR), Islamicity Performance Index (IPI), and Zakat on the profitability of Islamic banks in Southeast Asia from 2019 to 2023. Using a sample of 12 Islamic banks, the study employs panel data regression analysis to examine the relationships between these variables. The findings reveal that ICSR and Zakat positively influence profitability, while the Profit-Sharing Ratio (PSR), the ratio of Islamic income to non-Islamic income, and the Equitable Distribution Ratio (EDR) do not have a significant effect. The study concludes that ICSR, PSR, EDR, Islamic income vs. non-Islamic income, and Zakat collectively influence profitability, contributing to the understanding of Islamic banking practices and their impact on financial performance in the region

Abstract

Currently, digital economy platforms offer easy access to loan services in the form of consumptive credit online, allowing users to get it quickly and without difficulty. Demographically, young people are the most likely to use buy now pay later (BNPL) digital debt services who do not yet have economic stability and are still dependent on their parents. Despite this, the urge to fulfill their lifestyle makes them continue to behave consumptively. This research focuses on the reasons that encourage young people to use spaylater as a means of fulfilling modern life styles. The research method applied is descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. Informants were selected using purposive sampling involving four individuals, consisting of two FISIP UNIB students and two students outside FISIP. Data analysis was carried out through three steps, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings of this study indicate that young people who are students and still have economic dependence on parents use spaylater to meet the needs of a modern lifestyle. The use of spaylater among students is used as a tool to achieve their goals, namely meeting modern needs in the face of financial emergency situations.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country with a very large population with very tempting market potential. The Indonesian fashion industry is in second place as a sub-sector of the creative industry which contributes to increasing the growth of the creative economy in Indonesia. Indonesia's large population is an easy target for business people. The majority of Indonesia's population is Muslim, so it is not surprising that many business people are targeting Muslim communities in Indonesia as their target market. One of the markets with the highest growth in the creative economy sector is the fashion industry, especially Muslim fashion. MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) are institutions that have the ability to create jobs, distribute income, alleviate people from poverty and play a role in economic growth. In Indonesia, MSMEs have a proportion of more than 90% of the total number of business actors in this country with a workforce of 51.7% to 97.2%. This shows that MSMEs contribute greatly to economic growth in Indonesia. Therefore, further development and research regarding MSMEs in Indonesia is very necessary. Problems that often arise in developing MSME businesses in Indonesia are limited capital and lack of expertise in using digital technology. The use of social media and e-personal branding can be a solution to the problems faced. The aim of this research is to increase purchasing decisions for Muslimah Fashion MSME products through the use of social media and e-personal branding.
