“Library is the heart of the university” andai ilmu adalah darah dalam tubuh dan tubuh merupakan sistem dari sebuah perguruan tinggi, maka perpustakaan bagi perguruan tinggi tersebut adalah jantung yang melahirkan ilmu yang ditujukan kepada mahasiswa melalui dosen sebagai pembuluh darahnya. Dari pernyataan di atas, eksistensi sebuah perpustakaan sebagai resource center mempunyai fungsi sangat krusial dalam kegiatan akademik di perguruan tinggi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan formulasi strategi membangun eksistensi perpustakaan perguruan tinggi (UNS), melalui metode survei lapangan, deskripsi fenomena yang ada, dan studi pustaka, kemudian diuraikan secara deskriptif kualitatif, penulis melakukan “capture” gambaran perpustakaan perguruan tinggi yaitu UPT Perpustakaan UNS melalui analisis SWOT. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini adalah (1) Strategi SO: membangun differensiasi layanan baru “Javanese Corner”, menambah ragam content digilib; 2) Strategi ST: layanan SAT sebagai media penelusuran informasi digital, lokasi perpustakaan yang strategis sebagai learning center dalam menciptakan academic atmosphere; 3) Strategi WO: mengakomodasi kebutuhan informasi berdasar market share yang sudah tersegmetasi, pengajuan programmer untuk pengembangan SIM perpustakaan, share collection melalui kartu sakti FKP2TN. (4) Strategi WT: workshop literasi informasi untuk semua pustakawan UNS, memunculkan pustakawan profesional dalam perannya melalui kolaborasi dengan tenaga pendidik (dosen) dalam pemanfaatan teknologi perpustakaan untuk mendukung pendidikan dan riset. Diharapkan, hasil tulisan sederhana ini dapat diimplementasikan (follow-up) sebagai bagian dari tata kelola perpustakaan ke depan sehingga eksistensi perpustakaan melalui pustakawan dapat dilihat dan dirasakan oleh pengguna perpustakaan secara maksimal.Kata kunci: perpustakaan, learning center, eksistensi, SWOT

Publication of scientific papers for lecturers and students is a demand that can not be avoided. In order to find information as an ingredient in the manufacture of scientific work, the necessary sources of quality information and reliable. The library, in this case the librarian must be responsive and observant in seeing user needs. One way that can be done by librarians in providing information relating to the publication of scientific works of faculty and students is by providing search services information sources. To be able to do it optimally, it needs the capability to master the sources of information, including how to use search facilities and information search strategy. Thus, the term college library as the heart really can be realized with the maximum.

Village library is a place to increase reading interest of the community in Surakarta.Therefore, efforts should be made to improve the quality of village libraries. Oneof the efforts is by implementing Technical Guidance Library Management. Theseactivities are carried out by the Archives and Surakarta City Library. The method usedin this research is qualitative. Data collection was done by observation, interview anddocumentation. The results show that the Technical Guidance of Library Managementcontributes to the village library managers through training so that the managershave new knowledge about library management to be implemented in their respectivelibraries.

This research is entitled Acquisition of Library Material in the library of SMP N 5 Kotabaru. The purpose of the author is to find out the procedure for the acquisition of library materials that are located in the library of SMP N 5 Kotabaru. The sample of this study in the library of SMP N 5 Kotabaru. This study applies qualitative methods. How to collect data using observation, interviews and documentation. This study directs the library to require standard documents in the written acquisition library. This acquisition includes the selection of library materials carried out by teachers, staff, librarians and students. The library acquisition system is carried out through purchases, grants and contributions.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tantangan yang permasalahan saat ini dan masa depan dalam sudut pandang pengguna perpustakaan terkini yang berguna bagi jawaban atas tantangan pemimpin perpustakaan masa kini untuk mengatur staf di bawahnya dalam mewujudkan pengambilan kebijakan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan studi pustaka yaitu melalui observasi melalui website akan sebuah kasus yang sedang tren. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori kepemimpinan normatif dan situasional. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini yaitu 1) Pengguna milenial dan nonmilenial dapat merasakan layanan perpustakaan menggunakan aplikasi iPusnas dan aplikasi Mlibsys Muha yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan atas dukungan dari pimpinan perpustakaan. 2) Penyatuan model kepemimpinan normatifdan situasional menghasilkan sikap pemimpin yang sudah mengetahui situasi terkini sehingga pengikut wajib menjalankan kebijakan dari pemimpin dan diperlukan pengaturan pengguna pada saat program berjalan maupun telah selesai.Kata kunci: generasi nonmilenial, generasi milenial, kepemimpinan, perpustakaan perguruan tinggi

This study to determine the application of the user interface in the IPusnas mobile library application. Analysis of the application of the user interface in this mobile library application uses 10 components, namely conectivity, directional, informative , interactivity, user friendliness, comprehensiveness, continuity, personalization, and internal (internal). In this article the research method uses a kaulitatif descriptive approach. Where from this study it can be concluded that the application of IPusnas makes it easy for users to search and read e-Book. This application is flexible because users can take advantage of this IPusnas application anywhere and anytime according to their wishes and this makes the IPusnas application easy to use. However, it is necessary to develop applications again to further optimize the appearance of the IPusnas application. In addition, the Perpustakaan Nasional (Perpusnas) needs to promote the Ipusnas mobile library application that has been made to the general public, so that applications can be fully utilized.

Libraries in general most people say that as a place to read and borrow librarycollections, where the librarian or library manager provides various types of services. Services that can be said to be superior and excellent, in the library Fisip UNS contained in the reference collection service because the place is never empty by the reader. Readers in this space the average reader of scientific work, such as theses and other types of research. The purpose of writing this article to determine the activity of students in reading thesis. Activities of students in reading this paper are used to meet the information needs in the manufacture of scientific work. This research method using descriptive method. Location of the study in the library Fisip UNS. The results of this study indicate that the activity of students in reading thesis categorized quite high as 30 or 60% of respondents said it was.

This paper discusses the implementation of ISO 9001: 2015 at the Faculty of EngineeringDiponegoro University. The purpose of writing this paper is to determine the stagesor implementation process, advantages and disadvantages. Based on the results of thediscussion in this paper, it is concluded that the implementation process of ISO 9001:2015 to obtain certification requires 5 (five) phases, namely (1) assessment of currentsystem, (2) design, development and review, (3) implementation,) Audit and review,and (5) certification readiness. Benefits of the implementation of ISO 9001: 2015 inthe Faculty of Engineering Diponegoro University, including: to ensure customersatisfaction of products or services sold, increase customer confidence, instill a senseof pride for employees so motivate them to work and work better, facilitate Faculty ofEngineering Diponegoro University To gain cooperation from more business partners,as a material to analyze institutional capabilities, improve risk control managementso that institutions are more stable, organizational systems become more organizedand directed. The obstacles encountered in this ISO implementation include: funding,commitment of all relevant parties, and consistency in running ISO 9001: 2015.

The papers aims to determine how the process of procurement of library materials in the library of the University of Sari Mutiara Indonesia. The method used is descriptive qualitative approach. Data was collected through interviews. The results showed as follows: (1) The procurement of library materials in the library-Indonesian USM adapted to the needs of the academic community. (2) System procurement of library materials used by USM library-Indonesia is the purchase, gift or donation and its own publications. (3) System procurement of library materials that are often used by the USM-Indonesian library is oriented to the needs of purchase for USM-Indonesian academicians. Recommendations USM-Indonesian library should make a written procurement policy of library materials as a basis for procurement of library materials in the library USM-Indonesia.
