Abstract

This research aims to explore to what extent do basic tasks and functions have been conducted in accordance with the spirit of the administrative reform, concerning that any duties and responsibilities require good results. This research employs qualitative approach to gain description and a deep understanding of the Implementation of Administrative Reform in the General Affairs and Supplies Department with analysis data used is the model developed interactive of Miles and Huberman.

Abstract

This research aimed at investigating the implementation of National Program for Independent Community Empowerment (PNPM Mandiri) to alleviate poverty in North Samarinda sub district. Out of eight villages in North Samarinda sub district,  four were taken as the samples: Lempake, Sungai Siring, Tanah Merah and Budaya Pampang. Located in the suburban area, these villages were considered having higher poverty rate compared to the other four areas. Six criteria for evaluating public policy proposed by Dunn (2003) was used in this descriptive qualitative research. The criteria are effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, equity, responsiveness and appropriateness.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe and evaluate the Regional Regulation No.02 of 2011 on waste management in the city of Samarinda. The type of this research is descriptive qualitative study, with the main location of research in Sanitation Department Samarinda supported with research sites in four District of the District of Samarinda City, Smaarinda Ilir, North Samarinda and Sungai Kunjang. Primary data derived from interviews with selected informants, as well as from direct observation in the study area. While secondary data derived from data held by the agency. Analysis of the data used in this study is Interaktif model analysis  developed by Miles, Huberman, dan Saldana.

Abstract

The issues raised in this research are how is the implementation of hinterland rural development that conducted in Long Nyelong Village Subdistrict Busang in East Kutai and what are the potentials of natural resource and human resource to support the development in Long Nyelong Village Subdistrict Busang in East Kutai Regency and also what are the barriers to implement the development of hinterland rural in Long Nyelong Village Subdistrict Busang in East Kutai Regency. In this study the writer uses descriptive research with qualitative approach and the data analysis that is used in this study will be used with qualitative method, the research will describe and analyze the data that have been obtained, and furthermore they will be elaborated in an actual explanation.

Abstract

The problem formulated in this paper is whether organizational justice which includes distributive justice, procedural justice and interactional justice significant effect on the performance of employees either partially or simultaneously and which one of them has the dominant influence on employee performance. The results show that there is a significant influence between independent variables of organizational justice (Justice Organization) which includes distributive justice, procedural justice and interactional justice on the dependent variable (performance of employees).

Abstract

This study aims to know public perception towards public facilities in Tanjung Selor in regard to it’s status as the  capital of North Borneo Province based on health facilities which include hospital facilities, health center facilities, North Borneo University Facilities, Local Parks Facilities, and Tourism Facilities. Informants in this study are the residents of Tanjung Selor. To obtain the data this study used observation, interview guidelines and documentation.This study uses descriptive qualitative data collection techniques based on the observation, interview, documentation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe and analyze the implementation of the Child Welfare Program in Samarinda by the Social Service of East Kalimantan Province and determine the factors that support and hinder the implementation of the program. This research was a qualitative research, with research sites in East Kalimantan Provincial Social Service and several other research sites. Primary data obtained from interviews with selected informants, as well as from direct observation in the study area. While secondary data were collected from data held by the agency.

Abstract

The aim of research is to describe and analyze the effectiveness of Employee Discipline Towards Automatic Fingerprint Machine. The focus of this research are: timeliness, adherence to the rules, responsibility and reliability of automatic fingerprint machine. Sources of data taken from the informant and key informants. As the informant was civil servants and non-civil servants, while a key informant was the Head of Department. Analysis of the data that is used in this research is the model developed Interactive of  Miles and Huberman.
